The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing for May 26th

I failed to say something about the misunderstood of the term, “predestine, predestination or predestinated” which I cover in more detail in a paper I am not doing on The LORD my Righteousness, which may be posted after we finish this one. I have alluded to its meaning with the reference to Genesis 1:27-28 and 2:7 as these have the hidden meaning and purpose for Paul's statements concerning predestination. Genesis 1:27-28 took place long before the worlds and universe came into its own, it like so many of Davids Psalms is like hearing the Spirit of Life and Light speak in His own counsel wherein El, El the Son, El the Spirit spoken among themselves and planed the creation of all things and how all things would work.

All that is herein said means nothing at all unless we have the revelation of this as found in Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation (the sum total benefit and blessing, that those redeemed from all earthly ills will one day be rescued from and will enjoy their consummation with Him) in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” This saved means the same thing as in the day that Noah, his family and the host of baby animals were called into the arch by Him and He closed the door of the arch behind them all. In this action He judged the crimes against the knowledge of God caused by the fallen angels and watchers of that dispensation, the period of mans first innocence. Enoch wrote many small books about this period and some of the wisdom of God as he experienced it in his walk with God.

As a means of finishing this study up, turn with me to Matthew chapter 5 to listen intently to the words of Jesus again, as Jesus teaches us on how we are first to enter the kingdom and then how to remain in this kingdom to be approved of God, As Jesus' teaching reveals.

“He opened His mouth, and taught them, saying,

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (show our need of a acknowledgment of our spiritual poverty and depravity caused by our being one with Satan)

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. (are in spiritual grief and sorrow because of our total bankruptcy of soul and spirit, which is in depravity because we are in darkness being a child of Satan)

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. (this is not being a door mat but rather is strength under control having acknowledged the above situation of our undoneness and are now entered into His kingdom wherein He is the LORD of our being, this is our spiritual power under the Spirit's control)

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (this is our daily need for His righteousness and kingdom rule which overcomes the evils above expressed as our spiritual depravity and darkness)
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. (His blood and vicarious death and our identity In HIM through it has circumcised our evil and callous heart to become a new heart of flesh, a pure heart through which we can now see God)
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (because His character has been restored within our heart we like Him become peacemakers as He is Peace, this causes many to misunderstand us because we are not motivated as they are in an assumed self-righteousness which is sin)
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (this is the afflictions and often suffering which come upon us because of what was just said above about being a Peacemaker speaking the Truth in Love)
Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. (by this we know that we have indeed passed from death to newness of His Life because we bear His fruit of goodness and truth as a branch of His Life within us)
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven (Galatians 2:20): for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. You are (become) the salt of the earth: but if the salt have  lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. (as Jesus was and is the Light of all men everywhere we have also become Light to those around us who do not know us as they do not know Him) [to see more clearly this portion on being a light to the world look at Mark 4:21-23 and Luke 8:16-21 and Acts 6:1-7:60 where we have the illustration of one being a candle in the person of Stephen. Especially verses 3 through 8 of chapter 6.]
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good (which bear witness of Me within you restored for these, look at John 17:23-24, 26, Gal. 2:20; 1John 4:1-13) works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
With all that I have attempted to reveal thus far from both the Old [as far as the ordinance and order of things goes, because it has been rolled up by God as a mute, now dead thing, because it was unable to produce in His ultimate creation the likeness of Himself, which was of course man's obedience and faith in Himself above all others] and the now New. Though God Himself came as the Son of man [Adam, again without pretense or deception of sin], the LORD, Who is Master, Father, husbandman, husband and vine in the person of Christ Jesus. Who through His words of instruction laid a new foundation with Himself; its bedrock thus being our Salvation in the Passover and all things being now a spiritual reality no longer a purely physical [as the natural Israel remained but was not destined to] because the physical or material realm is weak and beggarly at the very best. This realm, the earthy, worldly and natural man, clings to, though it is dying and on the verge of passing away. So like Noah and the Prophets of old proclaimed the revelation of Christ, I also claim His salvation to be our ark into which we will also be called, soon and very soon. Are we prepared?

The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing for May 26th

In Matthew 22 Jesus is correcting the Priest's because they did not know the meaning of the scriptures which they miss quoted and therefore misapplied, picking up at verse 29 where we find this; Jesus answering said to them, "Do you not therefore err, because you know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. As touching the dead, that they rise: have you not read in the book of Moses (Exodus), how in the bush God spoke to him, saying, I AM the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: you therefore do greatly err.”

This one statement of Jesus goes on even to the very day miss understand and therefore misapplied by the religious Hebrews and religious gentile peoples. They fail to grasp that God counted Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as righteous in His sight and therefore they when they passed from the scene of time were gathered to Him as Enoch and Elijah were though they did not see death body. This one example gives us the true meaning of the term “Salvation” which is not Redemption though they are similar. You see to be righteous before God means we have the ontological essence of Christ as the Spirit within not just as a covering that surrounds. This is also the meaning of “Light, Glory and yes the glow of a lamp filled with oil or candle” which shines outwardly from within a vessel, like at Mark 4 with its many figurative parables and especially verses 21 through 23 and any referenced passages your Bible's column referencing may have, for comparison.

In 1John 3 we find this statement; “Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that has this hope in Him purifies himself [*], even as He is pure. Whoever commits sin transgresses the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and In Him is no sin. Whoever abides In Him sins not: whoever sins has not Him, neither knowns Him. Let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.”

In Romans 8 we find this beginning at verse 11; “But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies through His Spirit that dwells in you. Therefore, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if we live after the flesh, we shall die: but if we [*] through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, we shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For we have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but we have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together with Him. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

I cannot leave with just that short portion said I must share the remainder also which states this; “For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for Him.

Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the Will (well, healing word) of God.

We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestined (the hidden meaning of Gen. 1:27-28, 2:7) to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestined, them He also calls: (this colon is a time sensitive mark) and whom He calls, them He also justifies: and whom He justifies, them He also glorifies.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies. Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yes rather, that is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loves us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is In Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The LORD our Passover

Picking up the indexing for May 23rd

We are here now on the grounds of Acts 2 where Peter is speaking to the people of the nation of Israel, a select people and he makes reference to king David as he speaks these words as recorded in verses 25, 26, 27, and 30, 39; “David spoke concerning Him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for He is on my right hand, (in Psalm16:8-11, 109:31, 110:5, Isaiah 41:13, 50:7-9) that I should not be moved:(in Psalm 21:7, 30:6, 62:2, 6) Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; (Psalm 16:9, 22:22-24), moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: Because You will not leave My soul in hell, neither will You suffer Your Holy One to see corruption. (Psalm 49:15, 86:13) You have made known to me the ways of life; You shall make me full of joy with Your countenance.....He would raise up Christ to sit on His Throne; (in Psalm 2:6-8, 9-12, 72:1-19).....The LORD said to my Lord, Sit You on My right hand, Until I make Your foes Your footstool. (Psalm 110:1, 2:8-12, 18:40-42, 21:8-12, 72:9, Isaiah 49:23, 59:18, 60:14, 63:4-6)....even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Genesis 12:3 where it says, “in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”, and in 17:7-8, Psalm 115:14-15, Jeremiah 32:39-40, Joel 2:28)

Most of these references we have already looked at elsewhere but if you are so inclined review them at your leisure to increase your knowledge of the LORD. Which is our purpose.

Looking at John 6 verse 45; “It is written in the prophets, and they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the Father, comes to Me.” Where I have listed these passages; Isaiah 2:3, this is also a well known Hebrew song in, 54:13, Jeremiah 31:33-34, Micah 4:2; NT Ephesians 4:21-22, 1Thessalonians 4:9 and Hebrews 8:10-11, 10:16.

With the Redemption of the earth and all mankind through the vicarious death/blood and water, burial, resurrection and ascension of our LORD, Christ Jesus. All men every where have the ability of hearing and seeing God, as their Father. It is while we remain in Redemptions school and receive of Him our teaching, training and tutoring that we will learn of Him, as with a child like humility and a receptive heart. We become as a seed that over time grows and develops the farmer knows not how. (Mark 4)

Nothing can be added as long as those who read this will research the referenced passages given to learn more.

Indexing for May 26th

From Luke 20 verse 36 we find this stated by the Lord Jesus, “the children of God, (Ps. 16:5-11, 22:23-26, Heb. 11:16) being the children of the resurrection.” Where I listed these references; Zec. 3:7, 1Cor. 15:42, 53-54, Mat. 22:30, 1John 3:2, Romans 8:16-23, 24-25, Rev. 5:9-14.

In Zechariah 3:7 we find this stated; “Thus said the LORD of hosts (the appointed time); If you will walk in My ways, and if you will keep My charge, then you shall also judge (contend for) My house, and shall also keep My courts, and I will give you places to walk among those that stand by.”

To this Paul states this in 1Corinthians 15: 42, 53-54, 55-58: I will begin at verse 38 to get the flow;God gives us a body as it has pleased Him, and to every seed His own body. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs from another star in glory.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body......I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (within each generation of man this takes place until the time of the gentiles is fulfilled as determined by God) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (Those who experience this In the LORD have no fear of death nor of the grave because they have already passed through them, In Christ.) O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the Law. But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

The LORD our Passover

Continuing with the indexing for May 21st

Now from the above passages we find the following passages which reveal the benefits of our acquiring His Salvation; Luke 24:51, Mark 16:19, Acts 1:2-3, 7:55-56, 2Ki 2:11, 1Cor. 15:24-25, 1Pet. 3:22, Isaiah 14:2, 33:1, 49:24-26, Ephesians 4:8-10, 2Timothy 2:19-26, Heb. 1:3, Rev. 3:20. Read through these prayerfully and think on them from a pure heart kind of mindset.
There is no real indexing for May 22 other than Joel 2:28-32 which is the promise of our receiving the Holy Spirit is the very One that the ancient Hebrew did not have except for the few who became prophets of the Most High God. As the general populace were not equipped with Him or filled by Him as a general rule. This is heard in the following passages from Joel 2 beginning at verse 21 through the end of 32 which states this; “Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. Be not afraid, you beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength (this is a reference to the title of LORD and the revealing of the parable of the fig-tree spoken of elsewhere). Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for He has given you the former rain (the period of the prophets) moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month (this is speaking of His Spirit as the Living Waters which are to flow from within His people, this He did as Acts 1 and 2 reveal). And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the canker worm, and the caterpillar, and the palmer worm, My great army which I sent among you (these can be likened to mans false religion as it robs the simple and naive, the unknowing). And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that has dealt wondrously with you: and My people shall never be ashamed. You shall know that I AM in the midst of Isra-El, and that I AM the LORD your God, and none else: and My people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out My Spirit. I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. It shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.”

This is all based on what verses 12 through 20 which say this about the Lord's mercy; “Therefore also now, says the LORD, turn to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn to the LORD your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents Him of the evil. Who knows if He will turn and repent, and leave a blessing behind Him; a meat offering and a drink offering to the LORD your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Your people, O LORD, and give not Your heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

Then will the LORD be jealous for His land, and pity His people. Yes, the LORD will answer and say to His people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and you shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen: But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savor shall come up, because he has done great things (the reproach of the wicked smells to high heaven, their breath and flesh rotes).”*

*This passage could well be on the horizon for our day because of all that the darkness of evil is active across the lands known as the Holy lands of our day and time and indeed across the face of the world. Because even though Israel remains in the stench of her sins she is still a people of God's love because of Shem, Enoch, on through king David on to Jesus Himself, Who was God-YhWh (Yah), Who put on mans flesh. Man became sin through deception and trickery from which he has not on his own ever recovered, even though many will tell us otherwise it is not a Truth. Billions people have perished believing a lie. This lie or hoax is perpetrated by the worlds church systems, which is of the dominion of Satan in his many forms of deception and causes great delusions. This deception and delusion is so keen that the average person does not know or understand its power and therefore remain hoodwinked into believing the lie, from which there is no escape after physical death.

The LORD our Passover

Continuing with the indexing for May 21st

This is our work, this easy load, which the LORD asks us to carry, in the bring of His Spirit into the congregation, an assembly of two or more where He is then in our presence through our being there with them. This means that He is with the lost, unbelieving and the saved believer/unknowing (in their redemption stage), who does not yet know Him, as He is to be known.

*the word “consummate” means: to complete [as in a marriage], conclude, and to perfect, bring to maturity. And the word “realization” means: to comprehend fully or correctly, to make real.

Now in verse 20 of Colossians 1, is found the flowing; “having made peace through the blood of His cross” this portion is loaded as I said with meaning in this list of related referenced passages; “for the making peace”, Lev. 6:30; Psa. 85:10-11; Isa. 9:6-7; Eze. 45:17-20; Dan. 9:24-26; Mic. 5:2, 5; Zec. 9:9-10; Luke 2:14; Acts 10:30; Rom. 5:1; 2Cor. 5:19-21; Eph. 2:13-17; Heb. 13:20-21; 1John 4:9-10. Many of these have been looked into elsewhere so I will not redo them all. Then there is this phrase; “things in earth:” where we have these New Covenant passages references and listed: Eph.1:10; Phi. 2:10.

Leviticus 6:30 states this, “No sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile all in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.”

To this the writer of Hebrews has this to say in the following, which also carries in it a stern warning; Hebrews 13:7-8, 9-16 “Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken to you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever.

Therefore be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with Grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. For we have an altar (1Cor. 5:7-8, 9:13, 10:17, 20), whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle*.

For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. Wherefore (Therefore was) Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore to Him without the camp, bearing His reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. By (Through) Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name (we are to be living witnesses of His reality within us moment by moment through the rest of our  lives, in the way we are giving God praise as living examples of being In His Name, as Jesus was In His name while here). But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”

*Here is my thought on this, “they have no right to eat which (continue to) serve the tabernacle”, the alter here is not the seat of mercy that was located in the most holy place of the ancient temple, behind the veal. Which veal was torn from top downward by the hand of God when Jesus our offering died. Our alter is where the Lord was sacrificed the cross, which became soaked by His Blood as it ran down it, this is our symbol of that sacrifice and our alter. His vicious death gave to us certain benefits not before known, those who continue to practice the use of the alter (ceremonies, customs, holidays, rights, rituals and Laws) of Judaism have NO right to these benefits because to offer the offering required in the Levitical law nullifies His offering. Because they trust the Levitical laws to sanctify them from the power of sin in its language, which nullifies our benefits and faith and privileges of being one In Christ. This then makes them His enemies and footstool through their works of religion. To this I might add this, those as a means of strengthening what I just stated. Those who serve the tabernacle, or adhered to the service of the ceremonial law, they have no right to eat of this altar: this is an allusion related to the priests' eating of the sacrifices, and to some sacrifices, of which they might not eat, Lev. 2:10 and this is not to be understood of believers. As it did before the coming of Christ, who did attend tabernacle service; for they ate the same spiritual meat, and drank the same spiritual drink, as believers do now; but of such, those who obstinately persist in the ceremonies of the Law, when they were abolished; and so cut off themselves from all right to the substance of those shadows. By their practice of habit of them (the old rites, rituals, ceremonies, Holidays, customs and traditions of the Law) make themselves enemies of both the cross and blood given freely on our alter.

From here we can move to Thomas' unbelief and this statement, “But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Except I shall see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe. Then after eight days,” which proverb states from Judges 5:12 says this,Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead your captivity captive, you son of Abinoam.” In Psalm 68:18 we find this; “You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive: You have received gifts for men; yes, for the rebellious also, that the LORD-God might dwell among them. Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads (with His yoke of righteousness in) us with benefits, the God (a mighty oak our strength, as in the name of El) of our Salvation (restored relationship in divine health of our inward parts in which He now dwells in His temple). He the LORD is our God and is the God of Salvation; and to GOD the LORD belong the issues from death.”
