We just finished looking at one small group of a particular kind of pride, so here we are at another cousin to those we just studied. This one is called "haughtiness," then we have conceit, boasting and arrogance still on our platter to examine. That if by chance we may find healing in the words of their afflictions.
Haughtiness,
2Samuel 22:28 of 21-31 "The LORD deals with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands He rewarded me. For I have kept the ways of the LORD and have not wickedly departed from my GOD. For all His rules are before me, and from His statutes I did not turn aside. I am blameless before Him, and I kept myself from guilt. And the LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to my cleanness in His sight. "With the merciful You show Yourself merciful; with the blameless man You show Yourself blameless; with the purified You deal purely, and with the crooked You make Yourself seem tortuous. You save a humble people, but Your eyes are on the haughty to bring them down. For You are my lamp, O LORD, and my GOD lightens my darkness (lack of knowledge and understanding of Him). For by You I can run against a troop, and by my GOD I can leap over a wall. This GOD—His way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; HE is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him."
Isaiah 3:16 of 16-25 "The LORD said: 'Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks, glancing wantonly with their eyes, mincing along as they go, tinkling with their feet, therefore the LORD will strike with a scab the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will lay bare their secret parts. In that day the LORD will take away the finery of the anklets, the headbands, and the crescents; the pendants, the bracelets, and the scarves; the headdresses, the armlets, the sashes, the perfume boxes, and the amulets; the signet rings and nose rings; the festal robes, the mantles, the cloaks, and the handbags; the mirrors, the linen garments, the turbans, and the veils. Instead of perfume there will be rottenness; and instead of a belt, a rope; and instead of well-set hair, baldness; and instead of a rich robe, a skirt of sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty. Your men shall fall by the sword and your mighty men in battle. And her gates shall lament and mourn; empty, she shall sit on the ground."
Isaiah 16:6 of 6-12 "We have all heard of the pride of Moab— how proud he is!— of his arrogance, his pride, and his insolence; in his idle boasting he is not right. Therefore let Moab wail for Moab, let everyone wail. Mourn, utterly stricken, for the raisin cakes of Kir-hareseth. For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah; the lords of the nations have struck down its branches, which reached to Jazer and strayed to the desert; its shoots spread abroad and passed over the sea. Therefore I, Isaiah, weep with the weeping of Jazer for the vine of Sibmah; I drench you with my tears, O Heshbon and Elealeh; for over your summer fruit and your harvest the shout has ceased. And joy and gladness are taken away from the fruitful field, and in the vineyards no songs are sung, no cheers are raised; no treader treads out wine in the presses; I have put an end to the shouting. Therefore my inner parts moan like a lyre for Moab, and my inmost self for Kir-hareseth. And when Moab presents himself, when he wearies himself on the high place, when he comes to his sanctuary to pray, he will not prevail."
Isaiah 24:4 of 1-6 "'Behold, the LORD will empty the earth and make it desolate, and HE will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the slave, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor. The earth shall be utterly empty and utterly plundered;' for the LORD has spoken this word. The earth mourns and withers; the world languishes and withers; the highest people of the earth languish. The earth lies defiled under its inhabitants; for they have transgressed their covenant, violated it's statutes, and broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse devours the earth, and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left."
Jeremiah 48:29 of 21-35 "'Judgment has come upon the tableland, upon Holon, and Jahzah, and Mephaath, and Dibon, and Nebo, and Beth-diblathaim, and Kiriathaim, and Beth-gamul, and Beth-meon, and Kerioth, and Bozrah, and all the cities of the land of Moab, far and near. The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, declares the LORD.' "Make him drunk, because he magnified himself against the LORD, so that Moab shall wallow in his vomit, and he too shall be held in derision. Was not Israel a derision to you? Was he found among thieves, that whenever you spoke of him you wagged your head? Leave the cities, and dwell in the rock, O inhabitants of Moab! Be like the dove that nests in the sides of the mouth of a gorge. We have heard of the pride of Moab— he is very proud— of his loftiness, his pride, and his arrogance, and the haughtiness of his heart. 'I know his insolence, declares the LORD; his boasts are false, his deeds are false. Therefore I wail for Moab; I cry out for all Moab; for the men of Kir-hareseth I mourn. More than for Jazer I weep for you, O vine of Sibmah! Your branches passed over the sea, reached to the Sea of Jazer; on your summer fruits and your grapes the destroyer has fallen. Gladness and joy have been taken away from the fruitful land of Moab; I have made the wine cease from the winepresses; no one treads them with shouts of joy; the shouting is not the shout of joy. From the outcry at Heshbon even to Elealeh, as far as Jahaz they utter their voice, from Zoar to Horonaim and Eglath-shelishiyah. For the waters of Nimrim also have become desolate. And I will bring to an end in Moab, declares the LORD, him who offers sacrifice in the high place and makes offerings to his god.'"
Zephaniah 3:11 of 8-13 "'Therefore wait for Me,' declares the LORD, 'for the day when I rise up to seize the prey. For My decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them My indignation, all My burning anger; for in the fire of My jealousy all the earth shall be consumed. For at that time I will change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call upon the name of the LORD and serve Me with one accord. From beyond the rivers of Cush My worshipers, the daughter of My dispersed ones, shall bring My offering. In that day you shall not be put to shame because of the deeds by which you have rebelled against Me; for then I will remove from your midst your proudly exultant ones, and you shall no longer be haughty in My holy mountain. For I will leave in your midst a people humble and lowly. They shall seek refuge in the name of the LORD, those who are left in Israel; they shall do no injustice and speak no lies, nor shall there be found in their mouth a deceitful tongue. For they shall graze and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.'"
The revealing of the Revelation and the mysteries in the Light of the Gospel of the risen Lord Jesus Christ as given to Paul the Apostle to the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel. As contained in the letters of Paul, to the Romans on through Philemon and the letter of persuasion written to the Hebrews. A Bible study and other insights. So we should get off that milk bottle. We have to tell those who find us and begin to read the posts to throw the milk bottle away.

Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 2d.02c, Spiritual Pride
This is the fifth in this series dealing with "spiritual pride" and as with regular pride we have found many side shuts that pride operates within. Our last is that of "spiritual self-deception," which maybe the most dangerous for the worlds religions, we will find out as we look at it.
The natural results of spiritual Self-deception,
Self-esteem,
Psalm 36:2 of 1-4 "Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes. For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated. The words of his mouth are trouble and deceit; he has ceased to act wisely and do good. He plots trouble while on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject evil."
Spiritual Bondage,
Isaiah 44:20 of 18-20 "They know not, nor do they discern, for HE has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, and their hearts, so that they cannot understand. No one considers, nor is there knowledge or discernment to say, "Half of it I burned in the fire; I also baked bread on its coals; I roasted meat and have eaten. And shall I make the rest of it an abomination? Shall I fall down before a block of wood?" He feeds on ashes; a deluded heart has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself or say, "Is there not a lie in my right hand?"
Conceit,
Galatians 6:3 of 1-5 "Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law (G3551, a law or rule producing a state approved of God, the correct course of life) of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. For let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load."
Careless Hearing,
James 1:22 of 19-25 "Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of GOD. Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the (final goal) perfect law (G3551), the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing."
An Unbridled Tongue,
James 1:26 of 26-27 "If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. True Religion that is pure and undefiled before GOD, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."
Sanctimony,
1John 1:8 of 5-10 "This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that GOD is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as HE is the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (Romans 12:1-2) If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."
Spiritual Poverty,
Revelation 3:16-17 of 15-21 (The Amen and Creation of GOD is speaking) "'I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! (today's Laodicean churches) So, because you are lukewarm (double-minded person, a democrat and liberal, a person on the left), and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me. The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also conquered and sat down with My Father on His Throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'"

Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 2d.02b, Spiritual Pride
Continuing on with our look into the spiritual pride of self-exaltation with that of spiritual worldly ambitions by way of a few Bible examples of them before we look at spiritual self-deception.
Worldly Ambition,
Men after the Flood,
Genesis 11:4 of 1-9 "Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. And as people migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. And they said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly." And they had brick for stone, and bitumen (tar) for mortar. Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth." And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built. And the LORD said, 'Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let US go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another's speech.' So the LORD dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city. Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth. And from there the LORD dispersed them over the face of all the earth."
Absalom,
2Samuel 15:1-4 of 1-6 "After this Absalom got himself a chariot and horses, and fifty men to run before him. And Absalom used to rise early and stand beside the way of the gate. And when any man had a dispute to come before the king for judgment, Absalom would call to him and say, "From what city are you?" And when he said, "Your servant is of such and such a tribe in Israel," Absalom would say to him, "See, your claims are good and right, but there is no man designated by the king to hear you." Then Absalom would say, "Oh that I were judge in the land! Then every man with a dispute or cause might come to me, and I would give him justice." And whenever a man came near to pay homage to him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him. Thus Absalom did to all of Israel who came to the king for judgment. So Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel."
Adonijah,
1Kings 1:5 of 5-10; 2Kings 14:10, Psalm 49:11, Isaiah 14:13, 22:16, Habakkuk 2:5 "Now Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, "I will be king." And he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him. His father had never at any time displeased him by asking, "Why have you done thus and so?" He was also a very handsome man, and he was born next after Absalom. He conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah and with Abiathar the priest. And they followed Adonijah and helped him. But Zadok the priest and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada and Nathan the prophet and Shimei and Rei and David's mighty men were not with Adonijah. Adonijah sacrificed sheep, oxen, and fattened cattle by the Serpent's Stone, which is beside En-rogel, and he invited all his brothers, the king's sons, and all the royal officials of Judah, but he did not invite Nathan the prophet or Benaiah or the mighty men or Solomon his brother."
2Kings 14:10 of 8-10; Psalm 49:11, Isaiah 14:13, 22:16, Habakkuk 2:5 "Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz, son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, "Come, let us look one another in the face." And Jehoash king of Israel sent word to Amaziah king of Judah, "A thistle on Lebanon sent to a cedar on Lebanon, saying, 'Give your daughter to my son for a wife,' and a wild beast of Lebanon passed by and trampled down the thistle. You have indeed struck down Edom, and your heart has lifted you up. Be content with your glory, and stay at home, for why should you provoke trouble so that you fall, you and Judah with you?"
Psalm 49:11 of 10-12; Isaiah 14:13, 22:16, Habakkuk 2:5 "For HE sees that even the wise die; the fool and the stupid alike must perish and leave their wealth to others. Their graves are their homes forever, their dwelling places to all generations, though they called lands by their own names. Man in his pomp will not remain; he is like the beasts that perish."
Isaiah 14:13-14 of 3-27; 22:16, Habakkuk 2:5 "When the LORD has given you rest from your pain and turmoil and the hard service with which you were made to serve, you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: "How the oppressor has ceased, the insolent fury ceased! The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of rulers, that struck the peoples in wrath with unceasing blows, that ruled the nations in anger with unrelenting persecution. The whole earth is at rest and quiet; they break forth into singing. The cypresses rejoice at you, the cedars of Lebanon, saying, 'Since you were laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.' Sheol beneath is stirred up to meet you when you come; it rouses the shades to greet you, all who were leaders of the earth; it raises from their thrones all who were kings of the nations. All of them will answer and say to you: 'You too have become as weak as we! You have become like us!' Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, the sound of your harps; maggots are laid as a bed beneath you, and worms are your covers. "How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.' But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit. Those who see you will stare at you and ponder over you: 'Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world like a desert and overthrew its cities, who did not let his prisoners go home?' All the kings of the nations lie in glory, each in his own tomb; but you are cast out, away from your grave, like a loathed branch, clothed with the slain, those pierced by the sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a dead body trampled underfoot. You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, you have slain your people. "May the offspring of evildoers nevermore be named! Prepare slaughter for his sons because of the guilt of their fathers, lest they rise and possess the earth, and fill the face of the world with cities." 'I will rise up against them,' declares the LORD of hosts, 'and will cut off from Babylon name and remnant, descendants and posterity,' declares the LORD. 'And I will make it a possession of the hedgehog, and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,' declares the LORD of hosts.' The LORD of hosts has sworn: 'As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand, that I will break the Assyrian in My land, and on My mountains trample him underfoot; and his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden from their shoulder. This is the purpose that is purposed concerning the whole earth, and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations. For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?'"
Isaiah 22:16 of 15-25; Habakkuk 2:5 "Thus says the LORD God of hosts, 'Come, go to this steward, to Shebna, who is over the household, and say to him: What have you to do here, and whom have you here, that you have cut out here a tomb for yourself, you who cut out a tomb on the height and carve a dwelling for yourself in the rock? Behold, the LORD will hurl you away violently, O you strong man. He will seize firm hold on you and whirl you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a wide land. There you shall die, and there shall be your glorious chariots, you shame of your master's house. I will thrust you from your office, and you will be pulled down from your station. In that day I will call My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and I will clothe Him with your robe, and will bind your sash on Him, and will commit your authority to His hand. And He shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. And I will place on His shoulder the key of the house of David. He shall open, and none shall shut; and He shall shut, and none shall open. And I will fasten Him like a peg in a secure place, and He will become a throne of honor to His Father's house. And they will hang on Him the whole honor of His Father's house, the offspring and issue, every small vessel, from the cups to all the flagons. In that day, declares the LORD of hosts, the peg that was fastened in a secure place will give way, and it will be cut down and fall, and the load that was on it will be cut off, for the LORD has spoken.'"
Habakkuk 2:5 of 4-5 "Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith. "Moreover, wine is a traitor, an arrogant man who is never at rest. His greed is as wide as Sheol; like death he has never enough. He gathers for himself all nations and collects as his own all peoples."
The Mother of James and John,
Matthew 20:21 of 20-23; Luke 11:43 "Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came up to Jesus with her sons, and kneeling before Him she asked Him for something. And Jesus said to her, 'What do you want?' She said to Him, "Say that these two sons of mine are to sit, one at Your right hand and one at Your left, in Your kingdom." Jesus answered, 'You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am to drink?' They said to Him, "We are able." He said to them, 'You will drink My cup, but to sit at My right hand and at My left is not Mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by My Father.'"
Luke 11:43 of 42-44 (Jesus is speaking to a Pharisee) "'But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seat in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces. Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, and people walk over them without knowing it.'"
The Disciples,
Luke 22:24 of 24-27 "A dispute also arose among them, as to which of them was to be regarded as the greatest. And Jesus said to them, 'The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors. But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves. For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the one who serves.'"
The Jews,
John 5:44 of 30, 31-47; 2Thessalonians 2:4 (Jesus is speaking) "'I can do nothing on My own. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is just, because I seek not My own will but the will of Him Who sent Me. (Deuteronomy 18:15-18 of 15-22; 2Corinthians 6:11-7:1; Revelation 18:4-8)
If I alone bear witness about Myself, My testimony is not true. There is another Who bears witness about Me, and I know that the testimony that HE bears about Me is true. You sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth. Not that the testimony that I receive is from man, but I say these things so that you may be (G4982, delivered healed protected) saved. He was a burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light. But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about Me that the Father has sent Me. And the Father Who sent Me has Himself borne witness about Me. His voice you have never heard, His form you have never (perceived) seen, and you do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom HE has sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about (the anointing in) Me, yet you refuse to come to Me that you may have life. I do not receive glory from people. But I know that you do not have the love (anointing) of GOD within you. I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him. How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, on whom you have set your hope. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?'"
2Thessalonians 2:4 of 1-12 "Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to Him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the LORD has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the (2Corinthians 6:19 of 11-7:1) temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he (they of the anointing) who now restrains it will do so until he (they) is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of His mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of His (hidden) presence. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore GOD sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the Truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 2d.02a, Spiritual Pride
We are looking into the call to come out from Revelation 18:4-8 as it relates to that of 2Corinthians 6:11-7:1 and it's spiritual pride is at the heart of this portion. Today's target is that of spiritual self-exaltation and it is lengthy so I will break it into parts (a, b and c).
The folly of spiritual, Self-exaltation,
Proverbs 17:19 of 10-21 "A rebuke goes deeper into a man of understanding than a hundred blows into a fool. An evil man seeks only rebellion, and a cruel messenger will be sent against him. Let a man meet a she-bear robbed of her cubs rather than a fool in his folly. If anyone returns evil for good, evil will not depart from his house. The beginning of strife is like letting out water, so quit before the quarrel breaks out. He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the LORD. Why should a fool have money in his hand to buy wisdom when he has no (understanding or) sense? A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. One who lacks sense gives a pledge and puts up security in the presence of his neighbor. Whoever loves transgression loves strife; he who makes his door high seeks destruction. A man of crooked heart does not discover good, and one with a dishonest tongue falls into calamity. He who sires a fool gets himself sorrow, and the father of a fool has no joy."
Proverbs 25:6-7 of 1-7 "These also are proverbs of Solomon which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied. It is the glory of GOD to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out. As the heavens for height, and the earth for depth, so the heart of kings is unsearchable. Take away the dross from the silver, and the smith has material for a vessel; take away the wicked from the presence of the king, and his throne will be established in righteousness. Do not put yourself forward in the king's presence or stand in the place of the great, for it is better to be told, "Come up here," than to be put lower in the presence of a noble. What your eyes have seen."
Proverbs 25:27 of 11-28 "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver. Like a gold ring or an ornament of gold is a wise reprover to a listening ear. Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest is a faithful messenger to those who send him; he refreshes the soul of his masters. Like clouds and wind without rain is a man who boasts of a gift he does not give. With patience a ruler may be persuaded, and a soft tongue will break a bone. If you have found honey, eat only enough for you, lest you have your fill of it and vomit it. Let your foot be seldom in your neighbor's house, lest he have his fill of you and hate you. A man who bears false witness against his neighbor is like a war club, or a sword, or a sharp arrow. Trusting in a treacherous man in time of trouble is like a bad tooth or a foot that slips. Whoever sings songs to a heavy heart is like one who takes off a garment on a cold day, and like vinegar on soda. If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink, for you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you. The north wind brings forth rain, and a backbiting tongue, angry looks. It is better to live in a corner of the housetop than in a house shared with a quarrelsome wife. Like cold water to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked. It is not good to eat much honey, nor is it glorious to seek one's own glory. A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls."
Isaiah 14:13-14 of 3-27 with 47:10, Ezekiel 28:2, 31:10 "When the LORD has given you rest from your pain and turmoil and the hard service with which you were made to serve, you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: "How the oppressor has ceased, the insolent fury ceased! The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of rulers, that struck the peoples in wrath with unceasing blows, that ruled the nations in anger with unrelenting persecution. The whole earth is at rest and quiet; they break forth into singing. The cypresses rejoice over you, the cedars of Lebanon, saying, 'Since you were laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.' Sheol beneath is stirred up to meet you when you come; it rouses the shades to greet you, all who were leaders of the earth; it raises from their thrones all who were kings of the nations. You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High." But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit. 'And I will make it a possession of the hedgehog, and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,' declares the LORD of hosts. The LORD of hosts has sworn: 'As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand, that I will break the Assyrian in My land, and on My mountains trample him underfoot; and his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden from their shoulder.' 'This is the purpose that is purposed concerning the whole earth, and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations. For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?'"
Isaiah 47:10 of 8-11, Ezekiel 28:2, 31:10 "Now therefore hear this, you lover of pleasures, who sit securely, who say in your heart, "I am, and there is no one besides me; I shall not sit as a widow or know the loss of children:" These two things shall come to you in a moment, in one day; the loss of children and widowhood shall come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorcerers and the great power of your enchantments. You felt secure in your wickedness, you said, "No one sees me"; your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray, and you said in your heart, "I am, and there is no one besides me." But evil shall come upon you, which you will not know how to charm away; disaster shall fall upon you, for which you will not be able to atone; and ruin shall come upon you suddenly, of which you know nothing."
Ezekiel 28:2 of 1-10, 31:10 "The word of the LORD came to me: 'Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, Thus says the LORD God: 'Because your heart is proud, and you have said, "I am a god, I sit in the seat of the gods, in the heart of the seas," yet you are but a man, and no god, though you make your heart like the heart of a god— you are indeed wiser than Daniel; no secret is hidden from you; by your wisdom and your understanding you have made wealth for yourself, and have gathered gold and silver into your treasuries; by your great wisdom in your trade you have increased your wealth, and your heart has become proud in your wealth— therefore thus says the LORD God: 'Because you make your heart like the heart of a god, therefore, behold, I will bring foreigners upon you, the most ruthless of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom and defile your splendor. They shall thrust you down into the pit, and you shall die the death of the slain in the heart of the seas. Will you still say, 'I am a god,' in the presence of those who kill you, though you are but a man, and no god, in the hands of those who slay you? You shall die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of foreigners; for I have spoken, declares the LORD God.'"
Ezekiel 31:10 of 10-14 "Therefore thus says the LORD God: 'Because it towered high and set its top among the clouds, and its heart was proud of its height, I will give it into the hand of a mighty one of the nations. He shall surely deal with it as its wickedness deserves. I have cast it out. Foreigners, the most ruthless of nations, have cut it down and left it. On the mountains and in all the valleys its branches have fallen, and its boughs have been broken in all the ravines of the land, and all the peoples of the earth have gone away from its shadow and left it. On its fallen trunk dwell all the birds of the heavens, and on its branches are all the beasts of the field. All this is in order that no trees by the waters may grow to towering height or set their tops among the clouds, and that no trees that drink water may reach up to them in height. For they are all given over to death, to the world below, among the children of man, with those who go down to the pit.'"
Obadiah 4 of 1-9 "The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the LORD concerning Edom: We have heard a report from the LORD, and a messenger has been sent among the nations saying: 'Rise up! Let us rise against her for battle! Behold, I will make you small among the nations; you shall be utterly despised. The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock, in your lofty dwelling, who say in your heart, "Who will bring me down to the ground?" Though you soar aloft like the eagle, though your nest is set among the stars, from there I will bring you down,' declares the LORD. 'If thieves came to you, if plunderers came by night— how you have been destroyed!— would they not steal only enough for themselves? If grape gatherers came to you, would they not leave gleanings? How Esau has been pillaged, his treasures sought out! All your allies have driven you to your border; those at peace with you have deceived you; they have prevailed against you; those who eat your bread have set a trap beneath you— you have no understanding. Will I not on that day, declares the LORD, destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of Mount Esau? And your mighty men shall be dismayed, O Teman, so that every man from Mount Esau will be cut off by slaughter.'"
Matthew 23:12 of 1-12 "Then Jesus said to the crowds and to His disciples, 'The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat, so do and observe whatever they tell you, but not the works they do. For they preach, but do not practice They tie up heavy burdens (Laws and taxes), hard to bear, and lay them on people's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to move them with their finger. They do all their deeds to be seen by others. For they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long, and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces and being called rabbi by others. But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brothers. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, Who is in heaven. Neither be called instructors, for you have one instructor, the Christ. The greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.'"
Mark 10:37 of 35-40 "Then came James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came up to Jesus and said to Him, "Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask of you." To This Jesus replied, 'What do you want Me to do for you?' And they said to Him, "Grant us to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your glory." Jesus said to them, 'You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, or to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?' And they said to Him, "We are able." And Jesus said to them, 'The cup that I drink you will drink, and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized, but to sit at My right hand or at My left is not Mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared.'"
The folly of spiritual, Self-exaltation,
Proverbs 17:19 of 10-21 "A rebuke goes deeper into a man of understanding than a hundred blows into a fool. An evil man seeks only rebellion, and a cruel messenger will be sent against him.

Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 2d.01, Spiritual Pride
We are still looking into "spiritual pride," which may or may not be the same as carnal pride depending on who is measuring it and from where they are measuring from. Are they solely measuring from the old standard or from the spiritual standard that began when the LORD Christ ascended and then shortly thereafter returned as the personage of the Holy Spirit. Now don't get your nickers in a wade, I know that the Bible says what maybe said as the opposite but the Spirit is true and does not contradict Himself, does HE?
Spiritual Pride, by way of examples of,
Job 33:9 of 8-12 "Surely You have spoken in my hearing, and I have heard the sound of Your words. You say, 'I am pure, without transgression; I am clean, and there is no iniquity in me.' Behold, He finds occasions against me, He counts me as His enemy, He puts my feet in the stocks and watches all my paths. "Behold, in this you are not right. I will answer you, for GOD is greater than man."
Luke 18:11-12 of 9-14 "Jesus also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: 'Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: "God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get." But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, "God, be merciful to me, a sinner!" I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.'"
John 9:41 of 35-10:6 "Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him He said, 'Do you believe in the Son of Man?' He answered, "And who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?" Jesus said to him, 'You have seen him, and it is He who is speaking to you.' He said, "Lord, I believe," and he worshiped Him. Jesus said, 'For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.' Some of the Pharisees being near Him heard these things, and said to Him, "Are we also blind?" Jesus said to them, 'If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, "We see," your guilt remains. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To Him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear His voice, and He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. When He has brought out all His own, He goes before them, and the sheep follow Him, for they know His voice. (2Corinthians 6:11-7:1 and Revelation 18:4-8) A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.' This figure of speech Jesus used with them, but they did not understand what He was saying to them."
1Corinthians 4:18, 5:2 of 14-5:2, 3-5 "I do not write these things to make you ashamed, but to admonish you as my beloved children. For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through His gospel. I urge you, then, be imitators of me. That is why I sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the LORD, to remind you of my ways in Christ, as I taught them everywhere in every church. Some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you. But I will come to you soon, if the LORD wills, and I will find out not the talk of these arrogant people but their power. For the kingdom of GOD does not consist in talk but in power. What do you wish? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love in a spirit of gentleness? It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father's wife. Are you so arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you. For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing. When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our LORD in Jesus, you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the LORD."
Revelation 3:17 of 15-17 (Christ the LORD is speaking) "'I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. I Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold (today we would calls these liberals, the party of the left), I will spit you out of My mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.'"

Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 2d, Spiritual Pride
Continuing with our look at the reason for GOD's calling us out from among them of the worlds many religious organization's of waywardness of things that are evil to Him. But are tasty and often sweet in the month of man let alone out right disceiptive and deceitful. Our next subject is the pride that is part of this pagans being and with it comes such tag a longs as self-exaltation, haughtiness, and conceit and the warning against spirit spiritual pride. For this one I will look at each separately in separate postings.
Spiritual Pride, warnings against,
Psalm 10:2 of 1-2, 3-4 "Why, O LORD, do You stand far away? Why do You hide Yourself in times of trouble? In arrogance the wicked hotly pursue the poor; let them be caught in the schemes that they have devised.
For the wicked boasts of the desires of his soul, and the one greedy for gain curses and renounces the LORD. In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek Him; all his thoughts are, "There is no God!"
Psalm 73:6 of 1-9; 119:21, Proverbs 6:17 "Truly GOD is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled, my steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For they have no pangs until death; their bodies are fat and sleek. They are not in trouble as others are; they are not stricken like the rest of mankind. Therefore pride is their necklace; violence covers them as a garment. Their eyes swell out through fatness; their hearts overflow with follies. They scoff and speak with malice; loftily they threaten oppression. They set their mouths against the heavens, and their tongue struts through the earth."
Gimel.
Psalm 119:21 of 17-24; Proverbs 6:17 "Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live and keep Your word. Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law (H8451, The direction one is to take in life). I am a sojourner on the earth; hide not Your commandments from me! My soul is consumed with longing for Your rules at all times. You rebuke the insolent, accursed ones, who wander from Your commandments. Take away from me scorn and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies. Even though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will meditate on Your statutes. Your testimonies are my delight; they are my counselors."
Proverbs 6:17 of 16-19 "There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers."
Proverbs 11:2 of 1-8; 13:10 "A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is His delight. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them. Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. The righteousness of the blameless keeps his way straight, but the wicked falls by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the treacherous are taken captive by their lust. When the wicked dies, his hope will perish, and the expectation of wealth perishes too. The righteous is delivered from trouble, and the wicked walks into it instead."
Proverbs 13:10 of 5-14 "The righteous hates falsehood, but the wicked brings shame and disgrace. Righteousness guards him whose way is blameless, but sin overthrows the wicked. One pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth. The ransom of a man's life is his wealth, but a poor man hears no threat. The light of the righteous rejoices, but the lamp of the wicked will be put out. By insolence [comes] gives nothing but strife, but with those who take advice is wisdom. Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life. Whoever despises the word brings destruction on himself, but he who reveres the commandment will be rewarded. The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death."
Proverbs 16:18 of 15-22 "In the light of a king's face there is life, and his favor is like the clouds that bring the spring rain. How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver. The highway of the upright turns aside from evil; whoever guards his way preserves his life. Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoil with the proud. Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. The wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness. Good sense is a fountain of life to him who has it, but the instruction of fools is folly."
Proverbs 21:4-5 of 1-8; 28:25; Hosea 7:10, Habakkuk 2:4 "The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wills. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the heart. To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. Haughty eyes and a proud heart, is the lamp of the wicked, are sin. The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty. The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a snare of death. The violence of the wicked will sweep them away, because they refuse to do what is just. The way of the guilty is crooked, but the conduct of the pure is upright."
Hosea 7:10 of 8-16; Habakkuk 2:4 "Ephraim mixes himself with the peoples; Ephraim is a cake not turned. Strangers devour his strength, and he knows it not; gray hairs are sprinkled upon him, and he knows it not. The pride of Israel testifies (against him) to his face; yet they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek Him, for all this. Ephraim is like a dove, silly and without sense, calling to Egypt, going to Assyria. As they go, I will spread over them My net; I will bring them down like birds of the heavens; I will discipline them according to the report made to their congregation. Woe to them, for they have strayed from Me! Destruction to them, for they have rebelled against Me! I would redeem them, but they speak lies against Me. They do not cry to Me from the heart, but they wail upon their beds; for grain and wine they gash themselves; they rebel against Me. Although I trained and strengthened their arms, yet they devise evil against Me. They return, but not upward; they are like a treacherous bow; their princes shall fall by the sword because of the insolence of their tongue. This shall be their derision in the land of Egypt."
Habakkuk 2:4 of 4-5 "Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith. "Moreover, wine is a traitor, an arrogant man who is never at rest. His greed is as wide as Sheol; like death he has never enough. He gathers for himself all nations and collects as his own all peoples."
1John 2:16 of 15-17 "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And this world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of GOD abides forever."

Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 2c, Spiritual Pleasure-seekers
Still looking into the hidden things of Revelation 18:4-8's call to come out from among them, My people and do not participate in their [her] sins and receive of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven. And how it is that this whole passage is tied to that of 2Corinthinas 6:11-7:1 and yet the worlds religions because of the spirit of delusion given it of GOD does know see nor hear GOD's voice in the whole of this matter. For Jesus Himself said to seek the righteousness that is of GOD and His kingdom, for of such are the children of GOD who worship the Father of souls in spirit and in truth. We are warned about becoming pleasure-seekers throughout scripture and today's post is no different.
Pleasure-seekers, the results of a pleasure-seeking life,
Poverty,
Proverbs 21:17 of 10-21 with Isaiah 22:13 of 12-14 "The soul of the wicked desires evil; his neighbor finds no mercy in his eyes. When a scoffer is punished, the simple becomes wise; when a wise man is instructed, he gains knowledge. The Righteous One observes the house of the wicked; he throws the wicked down to ruin. Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered. A gift in secret averts anger, and a concealed bribe, strong wrath. When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers. One who wanders from the way of good sense will rest in the assembly of the dead. Whoever loves pleasure will be a poor man; he who loves wine and oil will not be rich. The wicked is a ransom for the righteous, and the traitor for the upright. It is better to live in a desert land than with a quarrelsome and fretful woman. Precious treasure and oil are in a wise man's dwelling, but a foolish man devours it. Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor."
Isaiah 22:13 of 12-14 "In that day the LORD God of hosts called for weeping and mourning, for baldness and wearing sackcloth; instead, there was joy and gladness, killing oxen and slaughtering sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine. "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die." The LORD of hosts has revealed Himself in my ears: 'Surely this iniquity will not be atoned for you until you die,' says the LORD God of hosts."
False security,
Isaiah 47:8-9 of 7, 8-11 "You said, "I shall be mistress forever," so that you did not lay these things to heart or remember their end. (Isaiah 47:1-7, describes this virgin harlot as a relative daughter to Abraham; Matthew 24:41)
Now therefore hear this, you lover of pleasures, who sit securely, who say in your heart, "I am, and there is no one besides me; I shall not sit as a widow or know the loss of children": These two things shall come to you in a moment, in one day; the loss of children and widowhood shall come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorcerers and the great power of your enchantments.
Spiritual Barrenness,
Luke 8:14 of 9-10, 11-15 "Then Jesus' disciples asked Him what this parable meant, He said, 'To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of GOD, but for others they are in parables, so that (Isaiah 6:9) 'seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.'"
'Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of GOD. The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away. As for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.'"
Presumption,
Luke 12:19 of 13-21 "Someone in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me." But He said to him, 'Man, who made Me a judge or arbitrator over you?' Then He said to them, 'Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.' And He told them a parable, saying, 'The land of a rich man produced plentifully, and he thought to himself, 'What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?' And he said, 'I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry." But GOD said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?' So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.'"
Spiritual Death,
1Timothy 5:6 of 3-8; 2Timothy 3:4, Titus 3:3 and James 5:5 "Honor widows who are truly widows. But if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show godliness to their own household and to make some return to their parents, for this is pleasing in the sight of GOD. She who is truly a widow, left all alone, has set her hope on GOD and continues in supplications and prayers night and day, but she who is self-indulgent is dead even while she lives. Command these things as well, so that they may be without reproach. But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."
2Timothy 3:4 of 1-9; Titus 3:3 and James 5:5 "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless (unloving), unappeasable (irreconcilable), slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. (2Corinthians 6:11-7:1 and Revelation 18:4-8) For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith.(2Thessalonians 2:1-12) But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men."
Titus 3:3 of 2:11-14, 15-3:7 and James 3:3 "For the grace of GOD has appeared, bringing reconciliation with salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great GOD and Savior Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession who are zealous for good works.
Declare these things; exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you. Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of GOD our Savior appeared, HE saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, Whom HE poured out (anointed) on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed GOD may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people. But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned."
James 3:3 of 1-12 "Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. If we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we guide their whole bodies as well. Look at the ships also: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, for no mere human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our LORD and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of GOD. From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water."
Desire for Incessant Revelry,
2Peter 2:12-13 of 4-16 "If GOD did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment; if HE did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when HE brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes HE condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if HE rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard); then the LORD knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and willful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones, whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not pronounce a blasphemous judgment against them before the LORD. But these, like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed, blaspheming about matters of which they are ignorant, will also be destroyed in their destruction, suffering wrong as the wage for their wrongdoing. They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, while they feast with you. They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children! Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray. They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved gain from wrongdoing, but was rebuked for his own transgression; a speechless donkey spoke with human voice and restrained the prophet's madness."

Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 2b, Spiritual Partakers of Evil
We are looking into "our being called out from among them," to which I have likened it to Israel's being called out from Egypt because to me it is similar in nature and effect. and because it keeps with GOD's pattern used throughout His Word to His humanity. As our first Post, to "the Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited," showed up in 2Corinthinas 6:11-7:1, as repeated in Revelation 18:4-8. Where our attention currently lays, with our look into the many things of evil that we are called away from continuing in, Because we have been placed by GOD in the law of the true path of His life light love now active within our being as His newly restored humanity. Our next small subject is that of having to do with being a "partaker of evil." Again as found in Revelation 18:4 of 4-8: "Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, My people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, 'I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.' For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the LORD God Who has judged her."
Right off the bat Paul begins this next passage with, "therefore" so what is this therefore? To bring our attention back to his beginning of thought in verse 1-5 and 6-13 wherein he explains that we are to avoid Israel's mistakes and begins with our fleeing from religious and spiritual idolatry. Keeping in mind that by now religion and our being a newly awaken spirit are linked to each other. But the law of life unties them by grace and faith in GOD's operating within us.
Partakers of Evil,
1Corinthians 10:21 of 14-22 "Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. I speak as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say. The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread. Consider the people of Israel: are not those who eat the sacrifices participants in the altar? What do I imply then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to GOD. I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the LORD and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table (the cross being our alter) of the Lord and the table of demons. Shall we provoke the LORD to jealousy? Are we stronger than HE?"
Ephesians 5:7 of 6-14 "Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of GOD comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the LORD. (the question asked of Matthew 11:29 of 28-30) Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the LORD of Lords. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. For when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says (by Isaiah in 26:19, 51:17, 52:1, 61:1; Romans 13:11), "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine in you."
2John 1:11 of 4-6, 7-11 "I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as we were commanded by the Father. And now I ask you, dear lady—not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning—that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in [the] our flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have GOD. Whoever abides in His teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works."
Revelation 18:4 of 4-8 "Then I heard another voice (as it were) from heaven saying, "Come out of her, My people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and GOD has remembered her iniquities.
Connivance, of her sins,
Psalm 50:18 of 16-21 "For to the wicked GOD says: 'What right have you to recite My statutes or take My covenant on your lips? For you hate discipline, and you cast My words behind you. If you see a thief, you are pleased with him, and you keep company with adulterers. 'You give your mouth free rein for evil, and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's son. These things you have done, and I have been silent; you thought that I was one like yourself. But now I rebuke you and lay the charge before you.'"
Proverbs 24:24 of 23-26 "These also are sayings of the wise. Partiality in judging is not good. Whoever says to the wicked, "You are in the right," will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations, but those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them. Whoever gives an honest answer kisses [the] My lips."
Proverbs 28:4 of 1-7 "The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion. When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but with a man of understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue. A poor man who oppresses the poor is a beating rain that leaves no food. Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law (H8451, the true course of life) strive against them. Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it completely. Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways. The one who keeps the law (H8451, the true path of life) is a son with understanding, but a companion of gluttons shames his father."
Mark 14:11 of 10-11 "Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went to the chief priests in order to betray Jesus to them. And when they heard it, they were glad and promised to give him money. And he sought an opportunity to betray Him."
Acts 22:20 of 17-21 (Paul is speaking) "When I had returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, I fell into a trance and saw Him saying to me, 'Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about Me.' And I said, "LORD, they themselves know that in one synagogue after another I imprisoned and beat those who believed in You. And when the blood of Stephen Your witness was being shed, I myself was standing by and approving and watching over the garments of those who killed him." And HE said to me, 'Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.'"
Romans 1:32 of 28-32 (Paul is speaking of unbelief's consequences) "And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, GOD gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of GOD, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know GOD's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them."
Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 2a, Haters of GOD
I am for a short time remaining in Revelation 18's call to come out from among them as it relates to the theme of our study of 2Corinthinains 6:14-7:1, this relationship is in verses 4 through 8, while there are laments discovered in the verses following the exposing of the harlot, these maybe looked at later. But for now we are looking at 4-8 which states this:
"Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, "'Come out of her, My people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, "I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see." For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the LORD God who has judged her.'"
From the wording, "My People," used we may draw from them that it is GOD speaking. From here we will look at the following; sin's hatefulness of GOD, the partakers of Her evilness, sin known to GOD, pleasure seekers, pride, self-confidence, carnal securities, and the Judgment according to these works and oh! defilement. For these are things pulled from the context of this passage.
Hateful to GOD, sin's hatefulness of GOD,
Deuteronomy 25:16 of 13-16 "You shall not have in your bag two kinds of weights, a large and a small. You shall not have in your house two kinds of measures, a large and a small. A full and fair weight you shall have, a full and fair measure you shall have, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you. For all who do such things, all who act dishonestly, are an abomination to the LORD your God."
2Samuel 11:27, 12:14 of 26-12:14 "When the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she lamented over her husband. And when the mourning was over, David sent and brought her to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD. So the LORD sent Nathan to David. He came to him and said to him, "There were two men in a certain city, the one rich and the other poor. The rich man had very many flocks and herds, but the poor man had nothing but one little ewe lamb, which he had bought. And he brought it up, and it grew up with him and with his children. It used to eat of his morsel and drink from his cup and lie in his arms, and it was like a daughter to him. Now there came a traveler to the rich man, and he was unwilling to take one of his own flock or herd to prepare for the guest who had come to him, but he took the poor man's lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him." Then David's anger was greatly kindled against the man, and he said to Nathan, "As the LORD lives, the man who has done this deserves to die, and he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity." And Nathan said to David, "You are the man! Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul. And I gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your arms and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah. And if this were too little, I would add to you as much more. Why have you despised the word of the LORD, to do what is evil in His sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites. Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.' Thus says the LORD, 'Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house. And I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun. For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun.'" To this David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die. Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly scorned the LORD, the child who is born to you shall die."
Psalm 5:4 of 4-7 "For You are not a God Who delights in wickedness; evil does not dwell with You. The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all evildoers. You destroy those who speak lies; the LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. But I, through the abundance of Your steadfast love, will enter Your house. I will bow down toward Your holy temple in the fear (H3374, dread) of You."
Psalm 11:5 of 4-7 "The LORD is in His Holy temple; the LORD's throne is in heaven; His eyes see, His eyelids test the children of man. The LORD tests the righteous, but His soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence. Let Him rain coals on the wicked; fire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup. For the LORD is righteous; HE loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold His face."
Proverbs 6:16 of 16-19 "There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers."
Zechariah 8:17 of 14-17 "For thus says the LORD of hosts: 'As I purposed to bring disaster to you when your fathers provoked Me to wrath, and I did not relent, says the LORD of hosts, so again have I purposed in these days to bring good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah; fear not. These are the things that you shall do: Speak the truth to one another; render in your gates judgments that are true and make for peace; do not devise evil in your hearts against one another, and love no false oath, for all these things I hate, declares the LORD.'"
Luke 16:15 of 14-15 "The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard all these things, and they ridiculed Jesus. And He said to them, 'You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.'"
Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 2, Spiritual Separation
In our last post we began with the call to come out from among of 2Corinthinas 6:14-7:1 and it is this that I will be looking at but where to start and how is what I have been asking the LORD. Maybe I should also ask why as I am not all that sure that people will reason that out for themselves or see that the answer for this is before their very eyes in the text itself. Now what I am about to do may go against the grain for some but that is okay for it is the LORD Who leads me. I want to look at verse 17 for a short time where we find this stated;
"'Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the LORD, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty.'"
If you have a good study Bible there should be in the column where cross references are listed a reference to Revelation 18:4 where we have this statement:
Revelation 18:4 of 4-8 "Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and GOD has remembered her iniquities.
And again if you have a reference to other passages there should be a reverse reference to our subject passage here, tying these two together. And the subject within chapters 17 and 18 address mystery Babylon the harlot of religion, governments and mans system of finance as many hidden snakes, heads or kings and nations over which her lawlessness and delusion's influence spread. To this passage my Bible has the following references Isaiah 52:11; Jeremiah 50:8, 51:6, 9 and one of my Bibles also references John 6:37 here as well. So what is separation's meaning and purpose here?
Separation, Separation from Evil our duty,
A select reading could be, Numbers 33:51-56 where the LORD is speaking to Moses and states this;
"'Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you and destroy all their figured stones and destroy all their metal images and demolish all their high places (of religious idolatress worship). And you shall take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given the land to you to possess it. You shall inherit the land by lot according to your clans. To a large tribe you shall give a large inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a small inheritance. Wherever the lot falls for anyone, that shall be his. According to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit. But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those of them whom you let remain shall be as barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall trouble you in the land where you dwell. And I will do to you as I thought to do to them."
Isaiah 52:11 of 6, 11-12 (the LORD God is speaking) "'Therefore My people shall know My name. Therefore in that day they shall know that it is I Who speak; here I am."
Depart, depart, go out from there; touch no unclean thing; go out from the midst of her; purify yourselves, you who bear the vessels of the LORD. For you shall not go out in haste, and you shall not go in flight, for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.'"
John 15:19 of 18-25 and 17:16 of 6-19 (Jesus is speaking) "'If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will also keep yours. But all these things they will do to you on account of My name, because they do not know Him Who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin, but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father. For the word that is written in their Law (Psalm 35:16 and 69:4) must be fulfilled: 'They hated Me without a cause.'"
John 17:16 of 6-19 Jesus is speaking) "'I have manifested (magnifies) Your name to the people whom You gave Me out of the world. Yours they were, for You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. Now they know that everything that You have given Me is from You. For I have given them the words that You gave Me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from (Deuteronomy 18:18-19 of 15-22)You; and they have believed that You sent Me. I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. All Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified (magnified, amplified) in them. For I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in Your (hidden) name, which You have given Me, that they may be one, even as We are One. While I was with them, I kept them in Your (unknown) name, which You have given Me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. For now I am coming to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them Your Word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Your Word is Truth. As You sent Me into the world, so I have send them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate Myself, that they also may be sanctified in Truth.'"
Acts 2:40 of 37-42 with 2Corinthians 6:17 of 14-7:1 (Peter is speaking to the Jews) "Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" To this Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the LORD our God calls to Himself." And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, "Save yourselves from this crooked generation." So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."
2Corinthians 6:17 of 14-7:1 "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living GOD; as GOD said, "'I will make My dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their GOD, and they shall be My people.(Isaiah 52:11) Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty.'" Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of GOD."
Ephesians 5:11 of 6-14 "Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of GOD comes upon the sons of disobedience (2Thessalonians 2:1-12). Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the LORD. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern (Matthew 11:29) what is pleasing to the LORD. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. (2Timothy 4:1-5) For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. For when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says (by Isaiah in 26:19, 51:17, 52:1, 60:1) "'Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.'"
2Thessalonians 3:6 of 6-13 "Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but with toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you. It was not because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves an example to imitate. For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living. As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good."
Separation, Separation from Evil our duty,
A select reading could be, Numbers 33:51-56 where the LORD is speaking to Moses and states this;
"'Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you and destroy all their figured stones and destroy all their metal images and demolish all their high places (of religious idolatress worship).
Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, All Things Now Spiritual
I our exploring the mysteries and secrets of GOD revealed to those who become sons (daughters came about only through man's flesh, the Holy Spirit is of the famine gender) of GOD as Christ Ones, knowing that they themselves are the very ones spoken of within scripture as Christ. I want to spend a little time on their being called out much like Israel was in the time of Moses. To do so requires our turning to Paul's letter number 2 addressed to the Corinthians chapter 6:11 through 7:1 which breaks down like this:
2Corinthians 6:11-13, 14-7:1 "We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians; our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted in your own affections. In return (I speak as to children) widen your hearts also.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, 'I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.' Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God."
From this we get the following:
2Corinthians 6:11-13, 14-7:1 "We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians (like all other areas of scripture when we have this kind of addressing we can put into it a name a location of our choosing and keep the original intent correct, so I could say to the saints in GOD"s development of Grace's perfection and be correct); our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted in your own affections (and afflictions of soul). In return (I speak as to children) widen your hearts also.
Do not be unequally yoked with (infidels of this world) unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with (2Thessalonians 2:1-12) lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light (John 1:1-5, 29-34) with darkness? Or what accord (agreement) has Christ with (the worthless and wicked, those without profit, sons and daughters of satan) Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with (religions) idols? For we are the temple of the living GOD; as God said (in Exodus 29:45, Leviticus 26:12, Jeremiah 31:1, Ezekiel 37:22 and Exodus 25:8), 'I will make My dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their GOD, and they shall be My people. (Isaiah 52:11; Revelation 18:4) Therefore go (come) out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the LORD, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, (2Samuel 7:14, 1Chronicles 17:13, Isaiah 43:6 and Hosea 1:10) and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty.' Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of (reverence for one’s husband) GOD."
This passage took years to take on it's true meaning of light to us after we first were impressed "to come out from among them." Like so many newborns of GOD we listened to well meaning officers of the court of GOD, who themselves did not know or understand the hidden things of GOD on deposit within themselves. For the next few days I want to examine this a little.

The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited,
We have come to the last two mysteries of the Bible and they are both in the Revelation of CHRIST and those who oppose the true knowledge of Him Who, Was and Is, Life Love Light and the correct path of life or law. This law is not that of Moses but is in stark contrast difference to it. The first is in 10:7 of 1-7 and the last is in 17:5 and 7 of 1-7, they read as follows:
Revelation 10:7 of 1-7 "Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire. He had a little scroll open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land, and called out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring. When he called out, the seven thunders sounded. And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down." And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven and swore by Him Who lives forever and ever, Who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there would be no more delay, but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of GOD would be fulfilled (proclaimed within the Gospel of GOD), just as HE announced to His servants the prophets."
Revelation 17:5, 7 of 1-7 "Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute (of mankind's religions, governments and financial systems) who is seated on many waters, with whom the kings (governments) of the earth have committed sexual immorality, and with the wine of whose sexual immorality the dwellers on earth have become drunk." And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names (of religions), and she had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations (financial systems) and the impurities of her sexual immorality. And on her forehead was written a name of mystery (2Thessalonians 2:7): "Babylon (14:8; 16:19) the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth's abominations (17:2 above)." And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I marveled greatly. But the angel said to me, "Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her."
From this point forward John reveals the heresy of religion and the wrath of her passions with which she inflicts delusional mankind with her poisons. Until we come to the Hallelujahs in 19. For now this is all the mysteries of Christ and Christ's being GOD, man restored to GOD as His divine (spirit) creation of man in His unseen image and seen known likeness of His being.
Revelation 10:7 of 1-7 "Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire.
