Continuing with our look into our perfection as priests in the Priesthood of our LORD, the NT Jesus Christ, Son of GOD, of the OT, Elohim, Yeshua-our Salvation, who put on our humanity to bring this all about. Through humanity's redemption in which humanity was exonerated of all its miserable past.
Hebrews 6:9-12 " But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises." Hebrews 6:9-12 "Though we speak in this way, yet in your case, beloved, we feel sure of better things—things that belong to salvation. For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do. And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises." Hebrews 6:9-12 "Having said all this, my dear friends, I am fully convinced of GOD'S love for you; what GOD accomplished in salvation on your behalf is beyond comparison to anything you were familiar with before. Salvation realities echo what the Law could only for shadow. GOD is is not unfair, neither is he unaware of the affectionate way in which you have honored his Name, and the diligence you have shown in your unrelenting religious service in keeping all the sacred rituals and ceremonies, even to this the present day. I urge you to employ that same sincere devotion to now realize the fulfillment of everything that the old system anticipated. We do not want you to behave like [1]illegitimate children, unsure of your share of the inheritance. Mimic the faith of those who through their patience cam to possess the promise of their allotted portion. (The word, [1, G3576 a derivative of G3541] nothros, meaning sluggish, comes from (G3541) nothos, one born outside of wedlock, of a concubine or female slave. The child of the Law not of the promise. The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 6:1; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
We are looking at our perfection, in our High Priest, and the warning that accompanies this position as revealed in Hebrews, for Hebrew/Jewish children of Jacob. We by Biblical definition are the seed of promise, the seed of Abraham and Isaac, significantly peculiar spiritual people. As we possess our original innocence of GOD'S intent by design and righteousness. As we learn the "I am Life," as a priest of Christ by design, a royal priesthood.
Hebrews 6:1-8 "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance[1]; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh[1], and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned." A mind shift from attempts to impress GOD by your behavior, to the faith-righteousness of Christ, is fundamental. There is no life left in the old system. It is dead and gone; we have to move on. (Romans 3:27) All the Jewish teachings about ceremonial washings (baptisms), the laying on of hands (in order to identify with the slain animal as sacrificed), and all teachings pertaining to a sin consciousness, including the final resurrection of the dead in order to face judgment, are no longer relevant. (All of these types and shadows were concluded and fulfilled in Christ Jesus, their living substance. His resurrection bears witness and testimony to the judgment that he faced on humanity's behalf and the freedom from an obstructive consciousness of guilt by sin's shame by association, that he now proclaims. [Romans 4:25; Acts 17:31; John 12:31-33] Jesus said, 'and when I am lifted up on the cross, I will draw all judgment unto myself!" [Hebrews 9:28]) So it is with GOD'S prompting that we advance. (From the prophetic types and shadows of Scripture into the substance of what GOD has now spoken to us in his Son. [Hebrews 1:1-3]) Now it may be that someone may clearly see the light (of the prophetic word) and participate in the Holy Spirit by already having sampled the heavenly gift, ("The Prophets who prophesied of the grace that was to be ours searched and inquired about this salvation (Yeshua-Jesus); they inquired what person or time was indicated by the Spirit of Christ within them when predicting the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glory." [1Peter 1:10-11]) and they might even begin to feast on the beauty of the Word; already having experienced the power of the age of promise that all were waiting for. If such a person were to insist on relapsing into the old mind-set of legalism, sin consciousness, and condemnation, it becomes impossible for him to be restored again and again to [1]repentance. The principle of repeated [1]repentance, as practiced under the law, does not make sense in the context of the new dispensation, because it would absurdly imply that Christ was being re-crucified and subjected to public shame over and over again. This new order is not to be confused with the old! Grace is not a cheap excuse for sin! C'mon, [1]awaken to faith-consciousness once and for all. We are all free from the old rules and bondage's of the duty-driven Law of willpower. It is impossible for the old system to match the new! (Under the shadow system of the Law, sacrifices were repeatedly slain because no permanent cleansing was possible. [Hebrews 10:1-4] The word often translated, repentance, is the word, [1, G3341 from G3340 ] metanoia, which does not imply pennance at all; let alone, repennance! It suggests a radical and total mindshift!) For when cultivated soil is soaked by frequent showers and produces the useful, life-giving crop expected by the farmer, the harvest brings much celebration. What a complete disappointment though, if the same soil produces nothing but thorns and thistles; it is a worthless yield, and fit for burning; like a dream that hs gone up in smoke." The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 5:11; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
We have been examining what it means to be one Life in Christ, in GOD and our next area tells why. Because like so many others of Paul's writings after he reveals a new revelation of Christ within us he brings up a new warning against apostasy. This chapter is no different. He even continues the pattern into the next chapter of our examination with a warning of falling away from Christ's revelation.
Hebrews 5:11-14 "Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." (KJV)
Hebrews 5:11-14 "About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil." (ESV)
Hebrews 5:11-14 "On this subject there remains so much to be said; but oh, how difficult it is to explain something to someone who hears with an indifferent attitude of heart. By now you (Jews) should have been professors, able to teach the rest of the world, but you are still struggling with the A B C's of GOD'S language in Christ. (Hebrews 1:1-3) The difference between the prophetic shadow and the real is like that between milk and meat in your diet. You cannot live on boby food for the rest of your lives! The revelation of righteousness (innocence) is the meat of GOD'S word. Babes live on milk (the prophetic shadow of the real, which was to come, and in did has come); so does everyone who is not [1]pierced in the inner ear of his heart by the revelation of Christ. (The word, [1, G552 from G1 (as a negative particle) and G3984] apeiros, inexperienced, that is ignorant, comes from (G1) a, meaning negative, and (G3984) peira, to pierce, not pierced, tested by piercing. GOD'S act of righteousness in Christ restored humanity's blamelessness of original innocence [Romans 1:17]) This is the nourishment of the mature. They are those who have their faculties of perception trained as by gymnastic precision to distinguish the relevant from the irrelevant. (The mature are those who know the difference between the shadow and the substance; between the futility of the Law of works and willpower to work righteousness, and righteousness revealed by the faith of GOD, That is GOD'S Faith in the finished work of Christ.) The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 5:5; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
We are looking at: Jesus Christ our humanity, now sitting at the right hand of the author,
designer, engineer and completer of our faith, Agape Love, our Perfecter and now our High
Priest. For this reason we can approach the authoritative Throne of
Grace with Bold utterances. Because We are Welcome there in his embrace, and are reinforced with immediate effect in times of trouble. The author of Hebrews now repeats a quote of Psalm 2:7, the time line of salvation and Psalm 110:4 dealing with Melchizedek to ancient high priest of long ago, who had no recorded history of his origin. Who meet Abram after his victory with bread and wine, the covenant feast requirements.
Hebrews 5:5-10 "So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him (in Psalm 2:7), 'Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.' As he saith also in another place (Psalm 110:4), 'Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.' Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec." The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 4:14; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
We have been looking into the "Believers Rest or the Saint's Eternal Rest," now we shall carry this a step farther to include Jesus our High Priest of this rest. Our last statement was, the Scriptures reveal GOD's resolve to display his image and likeness in humanity, now lets see what is stated here.
Hebrews 4:14-16 "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Having subjected it to close scrutiny, he proved that the human frame was master over sin. His sympathy with humanity is not to be seen as excusing our inherited flesh weaknesses which are the result of a faulty design, but rather as a trophy to humanity. (He is not an example for us but of us.) For this reason we can approach the authoritative Throne of Grace with bold utterances. We are welcome there in his embrace, and are [1]reinforced with immediate effect in times of trouble. (The word, [1, G996] boetheia, means to be reinforced, specifically a rope of three breads, or a chain for frapping a vessel in a storm.)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 4:1; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
Within this chapter we find repeated for our benefit Psalm 95:11 and 7. My study Bibles label this chapter "Saint's Rest" and "Believer's Rest"or another version of the same. Enough, lets get to digen for gold, shall we? For this one is of great length. One other note of interest wherever we see "the people of God," we can insert humanity, for this is what GOD sees and thinks on.
Hebrews 4:1-13 "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said (in Psalm 95:11), "As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest:" although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise,(in Genesis 2:2, Exodus 20:11, 31:17) "And God did rest the seventh day from all his works." And in this place again, (in Psalm 95:11) "If they shall enter into my rest." Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Again, he limited a certain day, saying in David, (Psalm 95:7-8) "Today, after so long a time; as it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts." For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest to the people (humanity) of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." (KJV)

Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience, again he appoints a certain day, "Today," saying through David so long afterward, in the words already quoted (Psalm 95:7-8), "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts." For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on. So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people (humanity) of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account." (ESV)
Hebrews 4:1-13 "What a foolish thing it would be if we should now fail in a similar fashion to enter into his rest, where we get to celebrate the full consequences of our (exonerational) redemption. (Why waste another lap in the same wilderness of unbelief!) What GOD has now spoken to us through Jesus confirms that we were equally included in the prophetic messages were proclaimed to their Jewish ancestors; their unbelief disqualified them from possessing the promise; they could not make the vital connection with the promise while they remained enslaved to their own dwarfed opinions of themselves! Because the word did not mingle with trust (faith), there was no catalyst to ignite its effects in their hearts, and so the promise did not profit them at all, though it remained active. (They were absorbed with the typical fruit of the "I-am-not-tree-mentally;" they remained more persuaded about a perception of an inferior identity, than what they were about the largeness of their salvation from slavery, into the freedom of the authentic life of their original design. Numbers 13:33) Faith (not shear willpower) realizes our immediate access into GOD's rest. Hear the echo of GOD's [1]cry though the ages, "Oh! If only they would enter into my rest." His rest celebrates perfection. His work is complete; the [2]fall of humanity did not flaw our perfection. (Sadly most translations read, "I have sworn in my wrath that they will never enter into my rest!" The word, wrath is derives from (H639 from H599, 'ânaph, to breath hard, in Greek G3709 from G3713) orge, meaning passionate desire, any strong outburst of emotion. The text doesn't say, "they will never enter my rest!" Both the Septuagint and the Hebrew text quoted from Psalm 94:11 in the Septuagint, which is Psalm 95:11 in the Hebrew, read, "Oh that they would enter into my rest!" Greek ei and Hebrew, בּוֹא. Look at Hebrews 4:6-8, "It is clear then that there is still an opportunity to enter into that rest which Israel failed to access because of their unbelief, even though they were the first to hear the Good News of GOD's intention to restore humanity to the same Sabbath that Adam and Israel had lost. (Both Adam and Israel believed the lie about themselves. [Numbers 13:33, Joshua 2:11]) So, now again many years later, he points specifically to an extended opportunity when he announced through David's prophecy, "Today when hearing my voice, do not do so with a calloused heart." If Joshua, who led the new generation of Israel out of the wilderness of their parent's unbelief, had succeeded in leading them into the rest that GOD intended, David would not so many years later have referred to yet another day!"
First Adam failed to enter into GOD's finished work, and then Israel failed to enter into the consequence of their complete redemption out of slavery; and as a result of their unbelief, they perished in the wilderness. Now let us not fail in the same manner to see the completed work of the Cross. GOD desires for us to see the same perfection; what he saw when he first created humanity in his image and likeness and then again, what he saw in the perfect obedience [literally hearing] of his Son. GOD is not "in his rest" because he is exhausted, but because he is satisfied with what he sees. His rest was not at risk. "His works were finished from the foundation of the world." The word, (1, G575) apo, translates as away from, and [2, G2602, deposit, is from G2598] kataballo, means cast down, the fall of humanity, sometimes translated, foundation [see notes on Ephesians 1:4] "This association goes back to before the fall of the world, his love knew that he would present us again face to face before him in blameless innocence." The implications of the fall are completely cancelled out (exonerated). The entire "Fall" was a falling away in our own vain imaginations from our true identity as the image and likeness bearers of Elohim's seed. Just like Eve, were we all deceived to believe a lie about ourselves, which is the fruit of the "I-am-not-tree." We all, like sheep have gone astray. [Isaiah 53:6]) Scripture records the seventh day to be the prophetic celebration of GOD's perfect work. What GOD saw satisfied his scrutiny. (Remember what happened on the 7th day? I celebrated you! I still do! Behold, it is very good, and GOD rested from all his work. [Genesis 1:31, 2:2] GOD saw more than his perfect image in Adam, he also saw the Lamb and his perfect work of redemption! "The Lamb having been slain from the foundation of the world." [Revelation 13:8] "That which has been is now; that which is to be, has already become, as in been." [Ecclesiastes 3:15, Joshua 2:11]) In Psalm 95 the same seventh day metaphor is reiterated: "Oh, that they would enter into my rest!" It is clear then that there is still an opportunity to enter into that rest which Israel failed to access because of their unbelief, even though they were the first to hear the Good News of GOD's intention to restore humanity to the same Sabbath that Adam and Israel had lost. (Both Adam and Israel believed the lie about themselves. (This moment still remains as an open invitation to humanity to enter into their rest: the living blueprint of our design. This confirms that the history of Israel was a mere shadow and prophetic type of that Promise that was yet to be fulfilled, in us who believe.) The conclusion is clear: the original rest is still in place for GOD's humanity...i.e., people. (The people of this planet are the property of GOD! [Psalm 24:11]) GOD's rest celebrates his finished work; whoever enters into GOD's rest immediately abandons his own efforts to improve what GOD has already perfected. (The language of the Law is "do;" the language of grace is "done.") Let us therefore be [1]prompt to understand and fully appropriate that rest and not fall again into the same trap that snared Israel in [2]unbelief. (The word, [1, G4704 to use speed, is from G4710] spoudatzo, is from (G4710) spoude, diligence, I translated prompt, not labor; this word also reminds us of the English word, speed; immediately! The word, [2, G543 from G545 from G1 and G3982] apeitheia [apathy] is from (G1) a as a negative particle, not; and (G3982) peitho, convince; is often, wrongly translated, disobedience.) The message GOD spoke to us through Christ, is the most life giving and dynamic influence in us, cutting like a surgeon's scalpel, sharper than a soldier's sword, piercing to the deepest core of human conscience, to the dividing of soul and spirit; ending the dominance of the sense realm and its neutralizing effects upon the human spirit. In this way a person's spirit is freed to become the ruling influence again (as seen in Genesis 2) in the thoughts and intentions of their heart. The scrutiny of this living Sword-Logos detects every possible disease, discerning the bodies deepest secrets where joint and bone-marrow meet. (The moment we cease from our own efforts to justify ourselves, by yielding to the integrity of the message that announces the success of the Cross, GOD's word is triggered into action within us and become Christ ones. What GOD spoke to us in sonship (the incarnate word within), radiates his image and likeness in our redeemed innocence. [Hebrews 1:1-3] This word powerfully penetrates and impacts our whole being; body, soul, and spirit.) The entire person is thoroughly exposed to his scrutinizing gaze. The word, [2, G543 from G545 from G1 and G3982] apeitheia [apathy] is from (G1) a as a negative particle, not; and (G3982) peitho, convince; is often, wrongly translated, disobedience.) The message GOD spoke to us through Christ, is the most life giving and dynamic influence in us, cutting like a surgeon's scalpel, sharper than a soldier's sword, piercing to the deepest core of human conscience, to the dividing of soul and spirit; ending the dominance of the sense realm and its neutralizing effects upon the human spirit. In this way a person's spirit is freed to become the ruling influence again (as seen in Genesis 2) in the thoughts and intentions of their heart. The scrutiny of this living Sword-Logos detects every possible disease, discerning the bodies deepest secrets where joint and bone-marrow meet. (The moment we cease from our own efforts to justify ourselves, by yielding to the integrity of the message that announces the success of the Cross, GOD's word is triggered into action within us and become Christ ones. What GOD spoke to us in sonship (the incarnate word within), radiates his image and likeness in our redeemed innocence. [Hebrews 1:1-3] This word powerfully penetrates and impacts our whole being; body, soul, and spirit.) The entire person is thoroughly exposed to his scrutinizing gaze. The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 3:12; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
Now we shall finish chapter 3 with a look at the warning given within, again the perils of unbelief. Because this can be applied to all who call the name of the LORD their own. Our writer repeats Psalm 95:7-8 here.
Hebrews 3:12-19 "Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort[1] one another daily, while it is called "Today"; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers[2] of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end; While it is said, "Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation." For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom swore he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."(KJV)

The same people who experienced GOD's mighty act of deliverance out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses were the very ones who rebelled. They grieved him for forty years in the wilderness and died there. GOD's invitation does not exclude anyone from possessing the promise of his [3]rest; their unbelief does. Persuasion cannot be compromised by unbelief. (Our believing a lie about ourselves cannot compromise what GOD knows to be true about us. Futile striving to become cannot match the bliss of discovering and celebrating who we already are by his design and redemption or exoneration. [3]His rest declares his perfect likeness revealed and redeemed in human form (the distortion put in order, alignment again). [Genesis 1:26, 31, 2:1-2]) The point is this; even though they survived by supernatural means in the wilderness for forty years, they failed (and continue to) grasp what GOD had in mind for them. Their own unbelief disqualified and disqualifies them. (They did not die because of an inferior salvation from Egypt; Pharaoh was taken out of the equation. They died because of unbelief, they believed a lie about themselves! [Numbers 13:33, Joshua 2:11] Don't blame Pharaoh or the Devil for your own unbelief! You can experience GOD's supernatural provision and protection and yet remain outside his rest. The ultimate proof of faith is not experience of the supernatural, but entering into his rest. His rest celebrates his perfect work; it finds its definition and reference in Genesis 1:31, 1Kings 6:7 and Colossians 2:9-10. He longs for us to discover our own completeness and perfection as seen from his point of view. His rest is sustained in us by what he sees, knows, and says about us inference to the finished work of Christ. Jesus is what GOD believes about us.) (The Mirror, with editing.)
Now we need to allow this to sink deep within us. May the LORD bring his perfection and the gravity of it, to have his perfect work in us all.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 3:7; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
We are looking at Jesus....i.e., Salvation being equal in rank to GOD, his being GOD and the Christ, GOD in human form. This being done before we look at the peril of unbelief at the close of this chapter. I might note that most of this part is taken from Psalm 95:7-11, before the peril which I shall cover next. Now this Psalm speaks of the heart attitude of Israel but it can also be applied to humanity as a whole.
Hebrews 3:7-11 "Wherefore as the Holy Ghost saith, "Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I swore in my wrath, 'They shall not enter into my rest.'" (KJV)
Hebrews 3:7-11 "Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness, where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for forty years. Your fathers continued to scrutinize me suspiciously, examining me as though my intentions with them could not be trusted, even though they were eye-witnesses of my miraculous works for forty years. They were a generation of people who grieved me deeply; instead of learning my ways, they habitually went astray in their hearts, intoxicated by their unbelief. (Even to this day they are still trapped in their own wilderness of unbelief.) Hear the echo of GOD's cry though the ages, 'Oh! If only they would enter into my rest.'" (The Mirror, with editing)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 3:1; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
One of the tell tail signs that Paul wrote or dictated this letter is the use of the word, "therefore." When we see it our attention should be brought back one or two paragraphs already covered, to find what the "therefore," is therefore. In a few of my many Bible's, this chapter leads off with, "therefore." This draws my attention back to 2:10, the last paragraph that started without a therefore. Also a few of my Bible's have a header of Deuteronomy 18:15-22, where it states that Jesus is greater than Moses, why, because he carries the title of Christ, GOD man. As the OT, Yahovah he is higher in rank than any of the angels and ranks equal to GOD.
Hebrews 3:1-6 "Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers[2] of the heavenly calling[1], consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession[3], Christ Jesus; Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end." [3, G3670 from G3674 and G3056] homologeo, comes from (G3674) homo, the same, and (G3056) lego, to speak. The word, [4, G2657 from G2596 and G3539] katanoeio, is from (G2596) kata, in this case a preposition denoting direction towards, and (G3539) noeo, to perceive, to contemplate; translates as fully acquainted. The Aorist imperative is used here, (G2657+) katanoesate, which implies the urgency to get something done once and for all.) Jesus is proof of GOD's workmanship; he exhibits GOD's persuasion concerning us. Jesus is what GOD believes about us. In Moses we have the prophetic model, demonstrated in his complete belief in GOD's purpose displayed in the meticulous attention to detail regrading the construction of the temple. (Look at Hebrews 8:5, The prophetic model mirrors GOD's meticulous attention to detail when it comes to every aspect of your life! We are his tabernacle; we are his address on planet earth.) Yet his frame surpasses the glory of Moses, because the one who designs and constructs the house gets the greater glory. (Hebrews 1:4, John 1:15) Every house is an expression of someone's design; GOD is the ultimate architect and creator of all things. (He owns the blueprints.) (The Mirror, with editing)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 2:14; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
We are coming to the close of our current study of Yeshua, who came for a short time, briefly humbled, in humanity's identity to restore humanity's true identity. And by doing so restored humanity's being of dominion over the earth. We found that the Hebrew word, H3467, yâsha‛, means salvation, or H3444, yeshû‛âh, is salvation, from which we get Jesus also meaning salvation. Then we looked at 2Samuel 22:23 where we the Rock [H6697, tsûr, a boulder, from H6696, tsûr, to fortify] as spoken of by Jesus when he called Simon, Peter, little portion of the Rock, in Matthew 16:18. Where we have this G4073, petra, part of H4074, Petros, a piece of the Rock. Or how about Psalm 19:14 where we find this: "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength[H6697], and my redeemer." Here we have H1350, gâ'al, meaning kinsmen. Now for our close of chapter 2 of Hebrews, and I still feel that chapter 3's first portion belongs here because of the word, therefore. It is meant to revert out attention back to what has just been stated, meaning what we are now looking at or maybe that portion in verses 5-9.
Hebrews 2:14-18 "Forasmuch then as the children (manity) are partakers of flesh and blood (our human form), he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them (humanity) who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed (humanity's form) of Abraham (not being a Hebrew or Jewish, a Gentile). Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour (Hebrew H5826, ‛âzar, to protect, Greek G997, boētheō, from G998, to help) them that are tempted." (KJV)
Hebrews 2:14-18 "Since therefore the children (manity) share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery. For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring (humanity) of Abraham (not being a Hebrew or Jewish, a Gentile). Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the (human) people. For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted." (ESV)
Hebrews 2:14-18 "Being one with the Children (manity) of GOD presupposes the fact that he lived and died in a body exactly like ours; being as fully human as we are, he is qualified to remove the dominion of death that was introduced [1]as a result of Adam's fall. (Had he done all this in a superhuman body, the implications of his life, death and resurrection would be irrelevant, mute. The word, [1, G1228 from G1225 from G1223 + G906; (compare [H7854])] diabolos, is usually translated Devil, literally, is dia+ballo, translated as through the fall, or as a result of the fall.) As a fellow human, he re-defined death and delivered them from the lifelong dread of death. (He brought final closure to the idea of judgment, which is what the system of works is all about. Hebrews 9:27-28. Evil is not immortal, Agape is, look at 1John 4:18.) The word, [1, G1228 from G1225 from G1223 + G906; (compare [H7854])] diabolos, is usually translated Devil, literally, is dia+ballo, translated as through the fall, or as a result of the fall.) As a fellow human, he re-defined death and delivered them from the lifelong dread of death. (He brought final closure to the idea of judgment, which is what the system of works is all about. The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 2:10; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
On we go with the earth being in subjection to man again, or Christ the founder of salvation. Which puts humanity in the rightful place of being one body by identity Jesus's with ours and ours with his, one body, in Jesus's name, Yeshua is salvation, this we have seen before. But how can one be in salvation without the knowledge of the mysteries of the NT or the secret things of Deuteronomy 29:29? Answer not possible! As we are finding out.
Hebrews 2:10-13 "For it became[1] him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of[2] one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying (in Psalm 22:22, "I will declare[H5608] thy name unto my brethren, in the midst[H8432] of the church will I sing praise unto thee." And again (in Isaiah 8:17), "I will put my trust in him. And again (in Isaiah 8:18), "Behold I and the children which God hath given me." (KJV)

Hebrews 2:10-13 "He [1]towers in conspicuous prominence far above all things. He is both their author and their conclusion. He now summons every son of his, through a perfected salvation, to his glory. The extent of the suffering he bore is the measure of the perfection of the salvation over which he presides. (The word, [1, G4241] prepo, means to tower; see also Hebrews 7:26. Who needs a gift, if you can have a reward? The gift of GOD, wrapped up in the achievement of Christ, disarms every idea of reward!) Because both he who carried out the rescue mission, as well as those whom he saved and restored to innocence, [2]originate from the same source. He proudly introduces them as members of his immediate family. (The word, [2, G1537] ek, always denotes origin, source, out of; look at 1Corinthians 1:30.) He says, "I will reveal your name to my Friends as being their own; This will fuel my praise in the Ekklesia, where I will celebrate GOD in song." (This reminds of the emotional moment when Joseph revealed himself to his Friends. [Genesis 45:1, Psalm 22:22] In Hebrew: "I will inscribe [The word H5608 is, safar, means enumerate, detail] your name, in core of my kindred;" [H8432] tavek, to cut to the core, to sever, to bisect, a mathematical term which is the division of a given curve, figure, or interval into two equal parts, the one mirroring the other.) "I will win his friendship again with trust." He says in another place, "I am surrounded by the children which GOD has given me. I am one of them." (Romans 5:10, "While we were still hostile, he reconciled us to himself.) (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 2:5; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
The earth being again in subjection to man, in Christ Jesus as in a mirror in Jesus's name as an I am he and he is me, we are one by human identity. We are one of the same identity. Some Bibles may have here the founder of salvation, as a study heading. GOD has only one way for all of his humanity to acquire salvation, just as it required only one way for woman and Adam to step away from the loose of their glory that covered their nakedness. By the eating of the tree of doubt and fear, the knowledge of good and evil from which unbelief sprang as its forbidden fruit. The fruit of an old sinner saved by grace kind of thing.
Hebrews 2:5-9 "For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. But one in a certain place testified, saying (in Psalm 8:4-6), "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him." But now we see not yet all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man." (KJV)

(The [1]age and dispensation (economy) of humanity's realized salvation.) Somewhere in the Scriptures it is written, "What is it about the human species that GOD cannot get them out of his mind? What does he [1]see in the son of man, that so captivates his gaze? (The word, [1, G1918 from G1909 and the base of G4649 ] episkeptomai, to inspect, is from (G1909) epi, continual influence upon, and (G4649) skopos, to view; to observe with interest.) He has made humanity all but equal to himself; he crowned them with his glory and dignity, and appointed them in a position of authority over all the works of his hands. (in Genesis 1:26-27, No Shepherd-Messenger can boast this. [Psalm 8:4-6]) GOD'S intention was that human life should rule the planet. He subjected everything without exception to his control. Yet, looking at the human race, it does not seem that way at all. But what is apparent, is Jesus (but now GOD spoke to us in a son.....[Hebrews 1:1-3]). Let us then consider him in such a way, that we may clearly perceive what GOD is saying to humanity in him. In death he (we all co-)suffered, he (we co-)descended for a brief moment below the lowest ranked Shepherd-Messenger, in order to taste the (our)death of the entire human race, and in doing so, to fulfill the grace of GOD and be crowned again (as a man, representing all humanity) with glory (lost, now restored in redemption's return to innocence) and highly esteemed honor." The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 2:1; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
We just saw the supremacy of Christ, now we shall take in the heed or warning of not doing so, before we look into the earth being in subjection once again to man.
Hebrews 2:1-4 "Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast[1], and every transgression[2] and disobedience[3] received[5] a just[4] recompense of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?" (KJV)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 1:5; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
Continuing with the first chapter, wherein we see and hear the final word of GOD about his Son and the supremacy of Christ. Keep in mind that it was not to long ago that we looked into the preeminence of Christ.
Hebrews 1:5-14 "For unto which of the angels said he at any time, (in Psalm 2:7) "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee?" And again (in 2Samuel 7:14), I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?" And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith (in Psalm 97:7), "And let all the angels of God worship him." And of the angels he saith (in Psalm 104:4), "Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire." But unto the Son he saith (in Psalm 45:6-7), "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity;" (in Isaiah 61:1, 3) "therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows." And (in Psalm 102:25-26), "Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest;" (in Isaiah 51:6) "and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;" (in Psalm 102:26-27) "And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail." But to which of the angels said he at any time, (Psalm 110:1) "Sit on my right hand," (in Joshua 10:24) "until I make thine enemies thy footstool?" Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (KJV)

But you are the same, and your years will have no end." And to which of the angels has he ever said, (Psalm 110:1) "Sit at my right hand (in Joshua 10:24) until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet?" Hebrews 1:5-14 "GOD did not address any of the prophetic Messengers when he said (in Psalm 2:7), "You are my Son, this day I have given birth to you!" (in 2Samuel 7:14) "I am to you all that a Father can be to a son, and you are to me all that a son can be to a Father." ( Look at Acts 13:30-33, "But GOD raised him from the dead; and for manys days he appeared to those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people. And we bring you Good (GOD) News that what GOD promised to the fathers, this he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus; as also it is written in the Psalms, (Psalm 2:7) 'You are my Son, today (this day) I have begotten you.' The resurrection of Jesus represents our new birth and our redeemed sonship. (1Peter 1:3) And when he lead his Son in triumphant parade, as his first born, before the whole inhabited world, he says, "Let all GOD'S [1]Prophetic Shepherd-Messengers [2]worship him in adoration." (Paul quotes from the Septuagint since this verse was not in the Hebrew text, Deuteronomy 32:43, "Rejoice, ye heavens, with him, and let all the sons of GOD strengthen themselves in him! [Here the Gentiles are proclaimed as joint heirs in equal sonship!] The word often translated angel, [1, G32] aggelos has two components, (G71) ago, to lead as a Shepherd and (G34) agele, a herd of cattle or company. This word carries the idea of a Messenger both in the Shepherd as well as the prophetic context. The context here points to their prophetic role.
The word often translated worship, [2, G4352 from G4314 ] proskuneo, is from (G4314) pros, to be face to face and (G2965) kuneo, to kiss, the masters hand, which I would like to believe to be a derivation of koinonia, joint-participation; rather than kuon which means dog. I know, some tried to connect the idea of a dog licking its master's hand, which then became a possibility of kissing. I much prefer a divine face-to-face koinonia encounter to define true worship! Although, I do believe that dogs, often referred to as man's best friend because of the very nature of their devotion to their master, has its Greek stem connection - koinonia is a friendship word to begin with and in it is therefore possible to see its etymological link. This reminds of Ephesians 4:8, "Scripture confirms that he led us as trophies in his triumphant procession on high; he [1]repossessed his gift (likeness) in humanity." Quote is from Hebrews text, Psalm 68:18, [1, H3947, H4979, H120] lakachta mattanoth baadam, thou hast taken gifts in human form, in Adam." [The gifts which Jesus Christ distributes to us, he has received in us, in and by the virtue of his incarnation, human form. Commentary by Adam Clarke. We were born anew in his resurrection. All humanity originated from above (in Genesis 1:26-27); we are [1, G509, anew and G507, G510+511 ] anouthen, from above, place of origin. He now occupies the ultimate rank of authority, from the lowest regions, where he stooped down to rescue us from, to the highest authority in the heavens, having executed his mission to the full. Fallen humanity is now fully restored to the authority of the authentic life of their origin and design. [Ephesians 4:9-10]) Of the Angelic Shepherd-Messengers he says (in Psalm 104:4), "I inspire you to be swift like the wind and he fashions those who work his cause like a flash of lightning." But when he addresses the Son he says (in Psalm 45:6-7), "Your Throne, Oh God, extends beyond the ages. The scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. You love righteousness and detest evil. Therefore, Oh God, your GOD anointed you with the oil of joy to stand head and shoulders above your associates." (in Psalm 102:25-26) "The earth traces its foundation back to you, the heavens also are your invention; they are all hand-crafted by you. They shall become obsolete, but you will remain; they shall show wear like an old garment (Isaiah 51:6), and you will eventually roll them up as a mantle; they shall be replaced, but you remain "I Am," and your years will never cease." Neither was it the prophetic Messengers he had in mind when he said (in Psalm 110:1 and Joshua 10:24), "You are the extension of my right hand, my executive authority; (Joshua 10:24) take your position and witness how I make your enemies a place upon which you may rest your feet." (Matthew 22:42-45) What role do the Shepherd-Messengers play in GOD'S strategy? They are all employed by GOD in the prophetic-apostolic ministry of the Spirit to help administer the inheritance of salvation that belongs to humanity." (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 1:1; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
Paul, in this letter removes the veil of religious zeal that hindered Jesus' opposition party, who did not know or see him as the promised one of Deuteronomy 18:15-19 (15, 18) and Daniel 9:24-27 (25); John 4:23-26. In the first chapter, we shall hear the final word of GOD about his Son, the supremacy of Christ.
Hebrews 1:1-4 "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past[1] unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."(KJV)

Suddenly what seemed to be an ancient language falls fresh and new like the morning dew on the tender grass of our lives! He is the sum total of every utterance of GOD. He is he whom the Prophets pointed to and we are his immediate objects of his attention and his audience. (The word, [1, G3819 from G3825] palai, means, of old, ancient; comes from (G3825) palin through the idea of oscillatory repetition or retrocession; anew, afresh. Look at Deuteronomy 32:1-2, 18 "Give ear, Oh heavens, and I will speak; and let the earth hear the thunder of the words of my mouth. May my teaching drop as the rain (grace), my speech distilled as the morning dew, as the gentle rain (grace) upon tender grass (humanity), and as the showers upon the herb....You were unmindful of the Rock (salvation) that begot you, and you forgot the GOD who gave you birth." Look at James 1:24, "we have forgotten what manner of people we are ---we have forgotten the face of our birth!" Jesus successfully rescued the real you, not the pseudo, make-belief you! GOD has never believed less of us than what he was able to communicate in the sonship that Jesus mirrored and redeemed!
The word, [2] eschatos, means extreme; last time or in space; the uttermost part, the final conclusion. What GOD said about 'you-manity' in Jesus defines eschatology!) In sonship, GOD declared the Incarnate Word to be the heir of all things. He is, after all, the author of the ages. we have our beginning and our being in him. (Sonship endorses heirship! look at Hebrews 6:16-18) Jesus is the crescendo of GOD'S conversation; he gives context and content to the authentic thought. Everything that GOD had in mind for mankind is voiced in him. Jesus is GOD'S eternal spiritual language. He is the radiant and flawless expression of the person and [1]intent of GOD. He mirrors GOD'S [2]character and exhibits his every attribute in human form. He is the voice of GOD announcing our redeemed innocence. By his own doing he accomplished purification of sins and sat down, enthroned in the boundless measure of his majesty in the right and of GOD, as the executive authority in the universe. This voice is the dynamic that sustains the entire cosmos. he is the force of the universe upholding everything that exists. ("Having accomplished purification of sins, he sat down..."His Throne is the very authority and proof of humanity's redeemed innocence!
More then two thousand years ago the conversation that had begun before time was recorded---sustained in fragments of thought throughout the ages, whispered in prophetic language, chiseled in stone and inscribed in human conscience and memory---became a man. Beyond the tablet of stone, the papyrus scroll or parchment roll, human life has become the articulate voice of GOD. Jesus is the crescendo of GOD'S conversation with humankind; he gives context and content to the authentic thought. Everything that GOD had in mind for man is voiced in him. Jesus is GOD'S language. His name declares his mission. As Savior of the world he truly redeemed the image (mirror) and likeness of the invisible GOD and made him apparent again in human form as in a mirror.
The word, [1, G1319 from G1380] doxa, is from (G1380) dokeo, meaning opinion or intent defines the glory of GOD, that which was lost by Adam's action. The word, [2, G5481 from G5482] charakter, is from (G5482) charax -- to engrave - translated 'mark of the beast' in the book of Revelation. Either the character of the Father or the character of the fallen mind will influence our actions (hand) and choices, because it is what engages our thoughts (forehead).
Like is Isaiah 55:8-11, "Your thoughts are not my thoughts; therefore your ways are not my ways....but my word will incarnate, and saturate earth (flesh) just like the rain (grace) and the snow cancel the distance between heaven and earth (flesh), so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth! It shall not return void but it will prosper in my purpose!") No prophetic or Shepherd-Messenger can compete with him in rank or name. This is his rightful portion. (Psalm 2) (Whatever the medium was through which GOD spoke of old, whether Angelic or prophetic--recorded Scripture is not superior to revealed sonship!)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
Removing the veil of falsehood in mans many religious forms, that have held untold millions captive for nearly 2000 years. Continuing with the introduction of the Hebrew letter and righteous by Faith alone. This not at all available in systems of religious laws of self works combined with religious pretenses. All ideologies of this sort, only serve to restrict humanity's knowing GOD and his Son Christ Jesus, in their fullest human form within humanity.
Hebrews 10:38 Righteousness by GOD'S Faith defines life; reverting to the Law of works ignores GOD'S work of Grace. (Instead of reading the curse when disaster strikes, Habakkuk realized the Promise out dated performance as the basis of humanity's acquittal. Deuteronomy 28 would no longer be the motivation or the measure of right or wrong behavior! "Though the fig trees do not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will have joy in the GOD of my salvation (H3444, yeshû‛âh, means deliverance, the Jewish word for Jesus) GOD, and the LORD, is my strength; he makes my feet like hinds' feet, he makes me to tread upon my high places." (Habakkuk 3:17-19 RSV)
In the Gospel, the righteousness of GOD is revealed, from faith to faith. (Romans 1:17) Herein lies the secret of the power of the Gospel; there is no good news in it until the righteousness of GOD is revealed! (The good news is the fact that the cross of Christ was a great success. GOD rescued the life of our origin and design; he redeemed us to our original innocence. Humanity would never again be judged righteous or unrighteous based by our own abilities to obey moral laws! It is not about what a person must or must not do but is about what Jesus has done!) The Prophets wrote and spoke in advance about this fact, what GOD believes righteous unveils the life that he always had in mind for humanity, us. "The just shall live by his (GOD'S) faith. Righteousness by GOD'S faith defines life.
Hebrews 12:1, Look away from the shadow dispensation of the Law and the Prophets and fix your eyes upon (redemption's salvation) Jesus. He is the fountainhead and conclusion of faith. He saw the joy (of humanity's salvation) when he braved the cross and despised the shame of it. As the executive authority of GOD (the right hand of the trinity GOD, sat at his right hand Throne of GOD), he now occupies the highest seat of dominion to endorse humanity's innocence.
The Gospel is the revelation of the righteousness of GOD; it declares how GOD succeeded to put humanity right with him. It is about what GOD did right, not what Adam did wrong, nor is it meant to lay a guilt trip on humanity. The word righteousness comes from the Anglo Saxon word, rightwiseness, wise in that which is right. In Greek, the word means two parties finding likeness in each other. The Hebrew word for righteousness is tzedek, which refers to the beam in a scale of balances.
Colossians 2:9-10, It is in Christ that GOD finds an accurate and complete expression of himself, in a human body! He mirrors our completeness and is the ultimate authority of our true identity.

If Christ is both the author and perfecter of faith, self-assessment by any other reference is mute and foolish, self-destructive. It would be just as impossible to attempt to measure temperature with a ruler. Christ defines our origin and design in our restored innocence. We find our identity and our destiny there.
We have obtained unrestricted access into the intimate and immediate friendship of GOD.
Sins were dealt with in such a thorough manner that no further offerings would ever be required. Nothing that we might personally sacrifice could ever add any virtue to our innocence.
A brand new way of life has been introduced.
Because of his torn flesh on the cross, our own flesh can no longer be made an excuse for veiling our experience of his grace and presence.
We are free to approach him with absolute confidence, fully persuaded in our hearts that nothing can any longer separate us from him. We are invited to draw near now! We are thoroughly cleansed, inside and out, with no trace of sin's stains on our conscience or conduct. Our inner thought patterns are purged by the sprinkled blood; our bodies also bathed in clean water. Our behavior bears our witness of this.
In traditional church-life we have taught to confine GOD'S Spirit within a narrow scope of predictability in programs and routines.
In Christ, GOD opened new and exciting horizons in a way for us to encounter him without hesitation or restrictions! He is not caged in an historic prophetic picture; he is unveiled in pulsating tangible human life!
This Epistle belongs to every believer.
Agape kindled faith and faith opens our horizon to explore agape's mystery; it is a place where thoughts carve an impression; a place not accessible to the scrutiny of a suspicious academic or religious guilt, and performance-based approach.

Hebrews 10:38 Righteousness by GOD'S Faith defines life; reverting to the Law of works ignores GOD'S work of Grace. (Instead of reading the curse when disaster strikes, Habakkuk realized the Promise out dated performance as the basis of humanity's acquittal. Deuteronomy 28 would no longer be the motivation or the measure of right or wrong behavior! "Though the fig trees do not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will have joy in the GOD of my salvation (H3444, yeshû‛âh, means deliverance, the Jewish word for Jesus) GOD, and the LORD, is my strength; he makes my feet like hinds' feet, he makes me to tread upon my high places." (Habakkuk 3:17-19 RSV)
In the Gospel, the righteousness of GOD is revealed, from faith to faith. (Romans 1:17) Herein lies the secret of the power of the Gospel; there is no good news in it until the righteousness of GOD is revealed! (The good news is the fact that the cross of Christ was a great success. GOD rescued the life of our origin and design; he redeemed us to our original innocence. Humanity would never again be judged righteous or unrighteous based by our own abilities to obey moral laws! It is not about what a person must or must not do but is about what Jesus has done!) The Prophets wrote and spoke in advance about this fact, what GOD believes righteous unveils the life that he always had in mind for humanity, us. "The just shall live by his (GOD'S) faith. Righteousness by GOD'S faith defines life.
Hebrews 12:1, Look away from the shadow dispensation of the Law and the Prophets and fix your eyes upon (redemption's salvation) Jesus. He is the fountainhead and conclusion of faith. He saw the joy (of humanity's salvation) when he braved the cross and despised the shame of it. As the executive authority of GOD (the right hand of the trinity GOD, sat at his right hand Throne of GOD), he now occupies the highest seat of dominion to endorse humanity's innocence.
The Gospel is the revelation of the righteousness of GOD; it declares how GOD succeeded to put humanity right with him. It is about what GOD did right, not what Adam did wrong, nor is it meant to lay a guilt trip on humanity. The word righteousness comes from the Anglo Saxon word, rightwiseness, wise in that which is right. In Greek, the word means two parties finding likeness in each other. The Hebrew word for righteousness is tzedek, which refers to the beam in a scale of balances.
Colossians 2:9-10, It is in Christ that GOD finds an accurate and complete expression of himself, in a human body! He mirrors our completeness and is the ultimate authority of our true identity.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
Our introduction to the Hebrew letter of encouragement to the Hebrew converts to Christ's revelation as their new way of life our of spiritual darkness to the Light of promise. First a note about the author and then Christ our Sabbath Rest before we look at Righteousness by His Faith. These I shall break up into two days sharing.
The Author:
The fact that Paul's message, which is the revelation of our restored / exoneration into innocence, being based on the finished work of the cross, as witnessed in all his Epistles, is evidenced throughout this magnificent study, it overshadows the argument that his signature as probable author is absent.
The Sabbath Rest:
In Christ the Sabbath Rest is satisfied and is no longer a shadow prefiguring the real, a token holy day in the Jewish week, but the celebration of humanity's perfect redemption in which the exact image and likeness of GOD is revealed and redeemed in our human form as first seen and known in Genesis 2. Humanity's original innocence is redeemed. "Having made purification for sins, he sat down..." The executive authority of his Throne is established on the fact of our innocence! The Sabbath is now a place of GOD'S unhindered enjoyment realized in humanity and humanity's unhindered enjoyment of the Father. Through the torn veil of his and our flesh, he has triumphantly open a new and living way for humanity into the life of our design in the agape embrace of our Maker.
This letter has a Hebrew among whom there are those of Jewish faith in the audience, in mindset. And is written to exhort the Jewish believer neither to underestimate such a grave salvation, or to clutter the message with redundant Jewish rituals and sentiments.
Under the dispensation of GOD'S economy the Law based on individual performance, of historic Israel failed to access the redemptive Sabbath of GOD and remained snared, entrapped in an inferior slave-mentality, of "I-am-not," "we are insignificant grasshoppers in our own eyes," mentality of Numbers 13:33.
Let us therefore be prompt to understand and fully appropriate that rest and not fall again into the same snare and religious trap of unbelief.
The message that GOD spoke through Christ becomes a living word of revelation and powerful influence in us, cutting like a surgeon's scalpel, sharper than a soldier's two edged sword, piercing to the deepest core of humanity's conscience to the dividing of soul and spirit ending the dominance of the sense realm and its neutralizing effect upon the human spirit. In this way a person's spirit is freed to be the ruling influence again in our thoughts and intentions of the spirit/hearts over ruling of our mind. The scruntity of this word detects every possible disease, discerning the body's deepest secrets where joint and bone-marrow meet. (The moment we cease from our own efforts to justify ourselves by yielding to the integrity of the message that announces the overwhelming success of the cross, GOD'S word is triggered into action within us. Bring us from our fore mere life conscience to the eternal Christ consciousness.) What GOD speaks to us in sonship (the incarnation), radiates his image and likeness in our redeemed innocence our whole being, body, soul, and awakened spirit. (Hebrews 4:11-12)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Colossians 4:7; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
Paul, is acknowledging those who labored along side of him in this ministry to the LORD among the Gentiles and his fellow Hebrews. Lets drop in to learn what we can from his closing message, shall we? Now what I am about to say and reveal will upset many but here goes. I am all about removing the veil of delusion and falsehood that the worldly systems of mans idolatrous religions operate under for they are lethal to mans spiritual grow, and have hidden themselves in false pretenses under since the early day's of the church, as spoken of by Paul. The religions gross of hypocrisy.
Colossians 4:7-10, 11-17, 18 "All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord: Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts; With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here. Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me. Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis. Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you. Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house. Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house. Aristarchus, my fellow prison, greets you warmly; so does Mark, the son of Barnabas's sister. Remember I told you to give him a special welcome when he comes to you.
Then there is also Jesus, some call him Justus. These three brethren, originally Jews by faith, are my close companions and co-laborers for the Kingdom of GOD. Epahras, who is also fruit of your ministry, salutes you. What a diligent worker of Christ he is, always laboring on your behalf with great intensity in his prayers. His desire for you is to stand strong in the full accomplishment of Christ and to be fully persuaded in GOD's purpose for your lives. I can tell you that he has a real passion for your welfare, as well as for the believers in Laodicea and Hierapolis. The dear doctor Luke greets you and so does Demas. Please extend our greetings to the brethren in Laodicea and also to Nymphas and the church in her house. Make sure that the church at Laodicea also gets the opportunity to read this epistle and that you again read the letter I wrote to them. Archippus, I want you to be diligent to fulfill the ministry you have received in the LORD.

Paul, is now winding down his practical life application message, to us, as he did the Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians and now the Colossians. I shall soon be looking into the letter of encouragement sent to the Hebrews.
Colossians 4:2-4, 5-6 " Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man." (KJV)
Colossians 4:2-4, 5-6 "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person." (ESV)
Colossians 4:2-4, 5-6 "Persist in prevailing prayers. Be attentive and sensitive (to the voice of the Spirit; do not be over-occupied with prayers for yourself and your own needs). Grace and gratitude is the language of all prayers. At the same time remember me in your prayers. Pray that what GOD has in me would impact many with the revelation of the mystery of Christ far beyond the walls of this prison cell. The confines of this prison do not measure my ministry; the message of the mystery of Christ in me and you does. (Colossians 1:25-29) My sincere desire is that my message will accurately unveil the mystery of Christ in its most complete context. You! This is the mission of my life's purpose! (Ephesians 3:9)
Do not spoil your chances to touch others with the word through a lack of wisdom. Even though they may seem to be "outside," your attitude towards them will reveal to them how "inside" they in fact really are. Redeem the time by making the most of every opportunity. (Time only finds its relevance is redemption-realities, our and their total exoneration!) Season your conversation with grace. This remains the most attractive and appropriate option to respond in every situation." (The Mirror, with editing)

Paul, is continuing with how a Christ one is to walk in their daily association with the world. We are by now well aware of the fact that we are the Agape produce of our Father as expressed somewhere in scriptures, as our being the true apple of his eye in, Deuteronomy 32:10, Psalm 17:8, Proverbs 7:2, and Zechariah 2:8. This was further confirmed within our previous text but confirmed in the scriptures here just revealed.
Colossians 3:12-4:1 "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long suffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. It is like changing garments. Now that we have gotten rid of the old smelly rags, we are to cloth ourselves with inner compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, (Just like we were once identified by our apparel, the characteristics of these qualities define us now.) upholding one another in positive expectation. If anyone finds fault with another, restore that person to favor, remembering how the LORD's forgiveness has transformed our lives. Wear love like a uniform; this is what completes the picture of our oneness. Appoint the peace of Christ as an umpire in your heart. We are all identified in the same person; there is only one body. We are reborn to be a blessing and exhibiting his benevolence. Christ is the language of GOD'S logic. Let his message sink into us with unlimited vocabulary, taking wisdom to its most complete conclusion. This makes our fellowship an environment of instruction in an atmosphere of music. Every lesson is a reminder, echoing in every song we sing, whether it be a [1]psalm or a [2]hymn or a [3]song in the spirit. Grace is our new covering it fuels our hearts with inspired music of spiritual language to the LORD. (The word, [1, G5568 from G5567] psalmos is raving about GOD in praise and heart worship accompanied by musical instruments. The word, [2, G5215] humnos suggests a celebration of song - a testimonial song. An [3, G5603+G4152 from G4151] ode en pneumatikos is a new spontaneous spirit chant or song.) Our every conversation and the detail of our daily conduct are a reflection of him; his name and Lordship define our lives and inspire our deep gratitude to GOD the Father of his grace. The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Colossians 3:18; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.
Paul, now talks about practical applications of living a Christ life; first, within our families and house holds, and then with those we work with in our daily associations, of this new discovered ideology of our original design entered into by an awakening or a new birth, a new genesis of how to reason and think with the logic of our Father. A place not often spoken of or even acknowledged by our opposition, the world orders. For the saints of GOD are said to be the apple of his eye as revealed in our text.
Colossians 3:18-21, 22-25 "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons." (KJV)

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality." (ESV)
Colossians 3:18-21, 22-25 "His peace is the umpire of our every relationship, especially in the family unit! Wives, place yourselves in the intimate care of your husbands, acknowledging the lordship of Christ in them. Husbands, love your wives tenderly. Do not exasperate them. Children, you display the Christ-life in the way you respond to your parents, keep them glowing with joy, they reflect GOD'S delight in you. (Parents, don't come down too hard on your children or you'll crush their tender, mold able spirits.)
If you are employed by someone, even having to work like a slave, remember your hearts are [1]intertwined in devotion to GOD. Don't just look busy when you are being watched, show the same diligence behind your bosses back. (The word, [1, G572 from G573 from G1 (a particle of union) and the base of G4120] haplote, is from (G1) ha, a particle of union; hama, together with (G4120) + pleko, meaning to plait, braid, weave together. Look at Luke 11:34, "The eye is the lamp of the body; if the eye is single the whole body is full of light (G5346, to make know, revelation)!" Entwining our eyes with Papa's eyes is what enlightens our entire being! Which is exactly what the word Kawa (H6960, to bind together) in Hebrew means in Isaiah 40:31, they that entwine with the LORD's thoughts mount up with wings like eagles! We are wired by design to entwine!) whatever you do, picture Christ in the person you are doing it for; it makes such a difference when we put our heart into it. GOD is no-one's debtor; we are employed under the Lordship of Christ. To live contrary to the life of our design is to injure ourselves; our job description does not define us, it doesn't matter who we are. Unrighteousness carries its own consequences and it is not a respecter of persons." (The Mirror, with editing)
