We are looking into the whosoever's of spiritual deafness and how this applies for us today. As spoken of in veiled language in Deuteronomy 18:15-22. In the last post we looked into the positive side of spiritual discernment and my next topic is "Spiritual Perception," in my chosen protocol, before looking at the "dullness" of man. An again I will use the ESV translation as always when the LORD gives more understanding I will add it there and then. But first I want to share something about the title of "prophet," which means this in the ancient Hebrew: "A fruit, any fruit hides the seed within it, and the fruit is produced from the inside of man. A knowledge of something that is not known by the five senses. One who brings forth the inner fruit."

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery carry a warning, part 10a
I am looking into "spiritual deafness" and its far reaching application and works. Again our targeted subject area is found in Deuteronomy 18:15-22 and even though it is an old testament topic it carries over into the kingdom life of the here and Now of Christ. Because of the little word "whosoever or whoever." The importance of our hearing again the voice of GOD and His Christ and the Holy Spirit is of much importance to me and those in the Family of GOD as Christ centered ones in spiritual union as one of GODS own. I will look first at "Spiritual Discernment" and then Spiritual Perception before the Dullness of such. I will be using the ESV translation and when the LORD expands on a passage I will share His revelation there and then.

And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place. Solomon used to offer a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night, and God said, "Ask what I shall give you." And Solomon said, "You have shown great and steadfast love to your servant David my father, because he walked before You in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart toward You. And You have kept for him this great and steadfast love and have given him a son to sit on his throne this day. And now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king in place of David my father, although I am but a little child. I do not know how to go out or come in. The LORD will bring upon you and upon your people and upon your father's house such days as have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah—the king of Assyria."

For we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. For, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him (Isaiah 64:4, 65:17)"— these things God has revealed to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? For who among mere men comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. For we have (rejected) received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit Who is God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.
For the natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged (appraised) by no one. "For who has understood the mind of the LORD so as to instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ."
Hebrews 5:9-10, 11-14 "For being made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, being designated by God a High Priest after the order of Melchizedek.
About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of GOD. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. For solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil."

We are making progress in our study of Deuteronomy 18:15-22, our next topic is the "Deafness" or put it this way "spiritual deafness" of some people. This has always been a great bother and irritation
for me. So maybe today is the day that this irritation is removed as we look into "spiritual deafness." The over all scope and size of this subject for me is staggering and because of it is part of this curse I will do the breath and width of it. And of course I will make use of the ESV translation because of it's easiness of reading and when the LORD gives insight I will immediately add it to the text.

And he touched my mouth and said: "Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for." And I heard the voice of the LORD saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here I am! Send me." And He said, "Go, and say to this people: "'Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.' Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn (repent) and be healed." Then I said, "How long, O LORD?" And He said: "Until cities lie waste without inhabitant, and houses without people, and the land is a desolate waste, and the LORD removes people far away, and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land. And though a tenth remain in it, it will be burned again, like a terebinth or an oak, whose stump remains when it is felled." The holy seed is its stump.(Deuteronomy 7:6)"
Jeremiah 6:9-15 "Thus says the LORD of hosts: "They shall glean thoroughly as a vine the remnant of Israel; like a grape gatherer pass your hand again over its branches." To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are uncircumcised, they cannot listen; behold, the word of the LORD is to them an object of scorn; they take no pleasure in it. Therefore I am full of the wrath of the LORD; I am weary of holding it in. "Pour it out upon the children in the street, and upon the gatherings of young men, also; both husband and wife shall be taken, the elderly and the very aged. Their houses shall be turned over to others, their fields and wives together, for I will stretch out my hand against the inhabitants of the land," declares the LORD (why is this so, part of the answer is in Ezra 9:2). "For from the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain; and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely. Zechariah 7:8-14 with Matthew 13:15, Acts 28:26 "The word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying, "Thus says the LORD of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart." But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear. They made their hearts diamond-hard lest they should hear the law and the words that the LORD of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Therefore great anger came from the LORD of hosts. "As I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear," says the LORD of hosts, "and I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations that they had not known. Thus the land they left was desolate, so that no one went to and fro, and the pleasant land was made desolate."
Matthew 13:10-17 "Then the disciples came and said to Him, "Why do You speak to them in parables?" And He answered them, "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: "'You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive (Isaiah 6:9). From morning till evening he expounded to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets. And some were convinced by what he said, but others disbelieved. And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement: "The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet: "'Go to this people, and say, "You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive (Isaiah 6:9). Deafness has the following subtopics, discernment, perception, dullness... condemned, general references, of Israel and the disciples, of men and no understanding, these will be shared in random order. Then after these comes such things as Hearing, Accountability, False Prophets and more.
for me. So maybe today is the day that this irritation is removed as we look into "spiritual deafness." The over all scope and size of this subject for me is staggering and because of it is part of this curse I will do the breath and width of it. And of course I will make use of the ESV translation because of it's easiness of reading and when the LORD gives insight I will immediately add it to the text.

Isaiah 6:6-15 "Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth and said: "Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for." And I heard the voice of the LORD saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here I am! Send me." And He said, "Go, and say to this people: "'Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.' Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn (repent) and be healed." Then I said, "How long, O LORD?" And He said: "Until cities lie waste without inhabitant, and houses without people, and the land is a desolate waste, and the LORD removes people far away, and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land. And though a tenth remain in it, it will be burned again, like a terebinth or an oak, whose stump remains when it is felled." The holy seed is its stump.(Deuteronomy 7:6)"
Jeremiah 6:9-15 "Thus says the LORD of hosts: "They shall glean thoroughly as a vine the remnant of Israel; like a grape gatherer pass your hand again over its branches." To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are uncircumcised, they cannot listen; behold, the word of the LORD is to them an object of scorn; they take no pleasure in it. Therefore I am full of the wrath of the LORD; I am weary of holding it in. "Pour it out upon the children in the street, and upon the gatherings of young men, also; both husband and wife shall be taken, the elderly and the very aged. Their houses shall be turned over to others, their fields and wives together, for I will stretch out my hand against the inhabitants of the land," declares the LORD (why is this so, part of the answer is in Ezra 9:2). "For from the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain; and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely. They have healed the wound of My people superficially, saying, 'Peace, peace,' when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown," says the LORD."
Ezekiel 12:1-6 "The word of the LORD came to me: "Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, who have eyes to see, but see not, who have ears to hear, but hear not, for they are a rebellious house. As for you, son of man, prepare for yourself an exile's baggage, and go into exile by day in their sight. You shall go like an exile from your place to another place in their sight. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house. You shall bring out your baggage by day in their sight, as baggage for exile, and you shall go out yourself at evening in their sight, as those do who must go into exile. In their sight dig through the wall, and bring your baggage out through it. In their sight you shall lift the baggage upon your shoulder and carry it out at dusk. You shall cover your face that you may not see the land, for I have made you a sign for the house of Israel."
Zechariah 7:8-14 with Matthew 13:15, Acts 28:26 "The word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying, "Thus says the LORD of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart." But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear. They made their hearts diamond-hard lest they should hear the law and the words that the LORD of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Therefore great anger came from the LORD of hosts. "As I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear," says the LORD of hosts, "and I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations that they had not known. Thus the land they left was desolate, so that no one went to and fro, and the pleasant land was made desolate."
Matthew 13:10-17 "Then the disciples came and said to Him, "Why do You speak to them in parables?" And He answered them, "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: "'You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive (Isaiah 6:9). The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery carry a warning, part 9a
In this post I will look at the second of two parts of "Whosoever's" of Deuteronomy 18:15-22. This whosoever deals with Salvation. Now for this study moving on without delay accept to say this. I will again be using the ESV translation for this study and when the LORD gives me more information I will there and then insert it.

Deuteronomy 18:15-22 "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen— just as you desired of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said, 'Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.' And the LORD said to me, 'They are right in what they have spoken. I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. John 4:7-14 "A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink." (For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.) Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and Who it is that is saying to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water." Acts 10:34-43 "So Peter opened his mouth and said: "Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears (reverences, honors and reveres) Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him. As for the word that He sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (He is LORD of all), you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with (Himself as the Christ in) the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was within Him. And we are witnesses of all that He (said and) did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. For they put Him to death by hanging Him on a tree, but GOD raised Him on the third day and made Him to appear (before us), not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead. For He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name." (Redemption, the receiving of forgiveness, is spoken of here.)
1John 5:1-4 "Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of Him. (this is Salvation) By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love (hear) God and obey His commandments. For this is the love (our restored fellowship, communion and honoring) of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."
Revelation 22:17 "The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

I am still looking into Deuteronomy 18:15-22 and its many hidden meanings with of course its warning again false prophets and the misuse of prophecy for self grandization. For the past few days now I have centered in on verses 18 and 19, where I am now. The next area of interest is in the "whosoever's" of this text. The first has to do with Condemnation and the second with those of Salvation. An again as is now my usual practice will use the ESV translation and should the LORD give me more I will insert it there and then.

And this is the promise that He made to us—eternal life."

Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery carry a warning, part 8a
Today I will look at "filial" as it relates to us who have become sons and daughters of GOD. Jesus is our prototype of such a relationship this He showed and spoke of like no other for He knew by way of the recorded scriptures all that was spoken by Him throughout the ages even as a young child. This we know when we see the out come of one of many pilgrimages taken in obedience to the letter of the Law with its accompany holidays and His staying behind to disguise with the elders the things of scripture, possibly about the Messiah or maybe about Emmanuel. For the one thing that He still lacked was the spirit connection that remained a requirement even back then. Now making use of the ESV translation and under the headship of Christ in me I will move on with our study of Deuteronomy 18 verses 15 through 22 which states this.

Deuteronomy 18:15-22 "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen— just as you desired of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said, 'Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.' And the LORD said to me, 'They are right in what they have spoken. I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. And whoever will not listen to My words that He shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him. For the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.' And if you say in your heart, 'How may we know the word that the LORD has not spoken?'— when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him."

If they say, "Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood; let us ambush the innocent without reason; like Sheol let us swallow them alive, and whole, like those who go down to the pit; we shall find all precious goods, we shall fill our houses with plunder; throw in your lot among us; we will all have one purse"— my son, do not walk in the way with them; hold back your foot from their paths, for their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood. For in vain is a net spread in the sight of any bird, but these men lie in wait for their own blood; they set an ambush for their own lives. Such are the ways of everyone who is greedy for unjust gain; it takes away the life of its possessors."
Proverbs 6:20-35 with Proverbs 7:1, 23:22 "My son, keep your father's commandment, and forsake not your mother's teaching. Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck. When you walk, they will lead you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk with you. Ephesians 6:1-3 "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother" (this is the first commandment with a promise), "that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land."
Colossians 3:18-21 "Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged."

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery carry a warning, part 8
Moving on now with our look at Deuteronomy 18 and verses 18 and 19 with the hidden things herein revealed by the Holy Spirit within me. These things are only known and understood by those who walk in restored union and fellowship with GOD in Christ, as did Jesus and His Apostles long ago. Over the past 1987 to 2000 years of kingdom and church history there has been few out standing men or women of GOD when compared to the numbers of unbelievers who are scoffers of spiritual things. Because they do not believe that all of humanity is spirit and as such is influenced by one spirit or another. It is in the another spirit that we are born into and is the reason that the Son of Man said that we must be born again and suffer redemption as our requirement to enter the promised kingdom of heaven and of God. We looked into this area sometime ago in this blog. As one of the stages of discovering all things of Christ that had been held in secret by GOD. Now with that said we are ready to look at Obedience again. And as has become my custom of use I will use the ESV translation and should the LORD within me give more insight along the way I will add it to the study. Such as this, man in his normal birthing is born a bond slave to the negative spirit in all of humanity. This negative side has the following characteristic's of the evil one, of deception, chaos, rebellion, darkness and a host of other evilness. While those who move from the negative side to the positive side slowly over time acquire the light, life, love, truth and grace and other characteristic's of Christ within them. The very things that the Son of Man, Jesus brought forward for our benefit by His death, burial, resurrection and ascension in returning to heaven the true place of His eternal abode from which He was known by the ancients as the LORD of hosts and many other titles befitting Him. I have by the Spirit stated that a prophet is one today who knows the LORD and therefore hears the LORD.

For the Helper, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name, HE will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. You heard Me say to you, 'I am going away, and I will come into you.' If you loved (hear) Me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on Me, for I do as the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here."
John 15:1-11 Jesus is speaking. "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser (husbandman, tiller of the soil of humanity made of water and earth, the occupant's of the world). Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit HE takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit HE prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be My disciples. As the Father has loves Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love. If you keep My commandments (the words spoken and revealed), you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His Love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full."
Romans 5:18-21 with Hebrews 5:8 "Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. Now the Law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigns in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Christ in Jesus our LORD."
Hebrews 5:5-10 "So also Christ did not exalt Himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by Him Who said to Him, "You are My Son, today I have begotten you (Psalm 2:7)"; as HE says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek (Psalm 110:4)." In the days of His flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to Him Who was able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverence. Although He was a son, He learned obedience through what He suffered. And being made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, being designated by God a High Priest after the order of Melchizedek."
Hebrews 10:1-10 "For since the Law is but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near (by the practice and use of them). Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Consequently, when Christ came into the world, He said, "Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have You prepared for Me; in burnt offerings and sin offerings You have taken no pleasure (Psalm 40:6). Then I said, 'Behold, I have come to do Your (plan and purpose of) Will, O God, as it is written of Me in the scroll of the book (Psalm 40:7).'" When He said above, "You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings (Psalm 40:6)" (these are offered according to the Law), then He added, "Behold, I have come to do Your Will (Psalm 40:7-8)." He did away with the first in order to establish the second. And by that Will (of plan and purpose) we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus who is Christ once for all." (to this look at Hebrews 13:7-16 and more particularly at verse 10 of this paragraph. For our altar is Christ.)
