I am still looking into the hidden things of Deuteronomy 18:15-22 and with each we are learning more of the secret of Christ. My next targeted of dullness of spirit is Mans Apprehending the Spiritual Teachings of Christ. For this I will use the ESV translation and the LORD's help where He will.

Deuteronomy 18:15-22 "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen— just as you desired of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said, 'Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.' And the LORD said to me, 'They are right in what they have spoken. For I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put My words in His mouth, and He will speak to them all that I command Him. And whoever will not listen to My words that He will speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him. John 2:13-22 "The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple He found those who were selling oxen and sheep and pigeons, and the money-changers sitting there. And making a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and oxen. And He poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. And He told those who sold the pigeons, "Take these things away; do not make My Father's house a house of trade." His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for Your house will consume Me (Psalm 69:9)." To this the Jews said to Him, "What sign do you show us for doing these things?" Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." The Jews then said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?" For He was speaking about the temple of His body. When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken."
John 3:4-8 "Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" John 4:31-38 "Meanwhile the disciples were urging Him, saying, "Rabbi, eat." But He said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about." So the disciples said to one another, "Has anyone brought him something to eat?" Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish His work. Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, then comes the harvest'? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. For here the saying holds true, 'One sows and another reaps (Job 31:8; Micah 6:15).' I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor."
John 6:52-59 "The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For My flesh (meaning the living word received as bread, Hebrews 13:10) is true food, and My blood (His altar of death which we share) is true drink. Whoever feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on Me, he also will live because of Me. This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever." Jesus said these things in the synagogue, as He taught at Capernaum."
John 11:1-16 "Now a certain man was ill, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. It was Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was ill. So the sisters sent for Him, saying, "Lord, he whom you love is ill." But when Jesus heard it He said, "This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it." Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So, when He heard that Lazarus was ill, He stayed two days longer in the place where He was. Then after this He said to the disciples, "Let us go to Judea again." The disciples said to Him, "Rabbi, the Jews are now seeking to stone You, and are You going there again?" Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him." After saying these things, He said to them, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him." The disciples said to Him, "Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover." Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that He meant taking rest in sleep. Then Jesus told them plainly, "Lazarus has died, and for your sake I am glad that I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him." So Thomas, called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, "Let us also go, that we may die with Him."

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery carry a warning, part 10d
I am continuing with the study of Deuteronomy 18:15-22 and the whosoever, with its warning against those who will not lesson nor accept the word of promise who speaks the words of the LORD. I am going to look next at "Spiritual Dullness" which carries its own condemnation for a negative character in our humanity. And as has become my norm I will use the ESV translation for this study and when the LORD within me gives me more on the passage being used I will add it to it.

Hebrews 5:11-14 "About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You require milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. For solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil."
This is a strong condemnation of those who deny GOD.

I am still looking into the hidden things of Deuteronomy 18:15-22 which carries a warning for those who do not accept the fact of there being a spiritual side of humanity. We can classify this as being negative or being positive, good or evil. For the majority of the world it is negative, evil, as it is also with religion the enemy of man and of mans creator GOD. I am currently looking into the dullness or the negative side of man and for this I will look next is Israel and then at the disciples as both are somewhat short subjects. I will be making use of the ESV translation and should the LORD shed more light on a passage I will share there and then.

For their vine comes from the vine of Sodom and from the fields of Gomorrah; their grapes are grapes of poison; their clusters are bitter; their wine is the poison of serpents and the cruel venom of asps."
Psalm 106:6-12 "Both we and our fathers have sinned; we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedness. Jeremiah 4:19-22 "My anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain! Oh the walls of my heart! My heart is beating wildly; I cannot keep silent, for I hear the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war. Crash follows hard on crash; the whole land is laid waste. Suddenly my tents are laid waste, my curtains in a moment. How long must I see the standard and hear the sound of the trumpet? "For My people are foolish; they know Me not; they are stupid children; they have no understanding. They are 'wise'—in doing evil! But how to do good they know not."
Dullness of the Disciples,
Matthew 15:15-20 "Then Peter said to Him, "Explain the parable to us." And Jesus said, "Are you also still without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled? But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone."
Matthew 16:5-12 with Luke 9:45 "When the disciples reached the other side, they had forgotten to bring any bread. Jesus said to them, "Watch and beware of the leaven (being mentally and morally corrupt) of the Pharisees and Sadducees." And they began discussing it among themselves, saying, "We brought no bread." But Jesus, aware of this, said, "O you of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive? Do you not remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? How is it that you fail to understand that I did not speak about bread? Beware of the leaven (corruption) of the Pharisees and Sadducees." Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees."
Luke 9:37-45 "The next day, when they had come down from the mountain, a great crowd met Him. And behold, a man from the crowd cried out, "Teacher, I beg You to look at my son, for he is my only child. And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out. It convulses him so that he foams at the mouth, and shatters him, and will hardly leave him. I begged Your disciples to cast it out, but they could not." Jesus answered, "O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here." While he was coming, the demon threw him to the ground and convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father. And all were astonished at the majesty of God. But while they were all marveling at everything He was doing, Jesus said to His disciples, "Let these words sink into your ears: The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men." But they did not understand this saying, and it was concealed from them, so that they might not perceive it. And they were afraid to ask Him about this saying."
Luke 18:31-34 "And taking the twelve, He said to them, "See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written about the Son of Man by the prophets will be accomplished. For He will be delivered over to the Gentiles and will be mocked and shamefully treated and spit upon. And after flogging Him, they will kill Him, and on the third day He will rise." But they understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they did not grasp what was said."
Luke 24:13-27 "That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were kept from recognizing Him. And He said to them, "What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?" And they stood still, looking sad. Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered Him, "Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?" And He said to them, "What things?" And they said to Him, "Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how our chief priests and rulers delivered Him up to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. For we had hoped that He was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened. Moreover, some women of our company amazed us. They were at the tomb early in the morning, and when they did not find His body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that He was alive. Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but Him they did not see." And He said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and return to His glory?" And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself." For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone."
Matthew 16:5-12 with Luke 9:45 "When the disciples reached the other side, they had forgotten to bring any bread. Jesus said to them, "Watch and beware of the leaven (being mentally and morally corrupt) of the Pharisees and Sadducees." And they began discussing it among themselves, saying, "We brought no bread." We are looking into the whosoever's of spiritual deafness and how this applies for us today. As spoken of in veiled language in Deuteronomy 18:15-22. In the last post we looked into the positive side of spiritual discernment and my next topic is "Spiritual Perception," in my chosen protocol, before looking at the "dullness" of man. An again I will use the ESV translation as always when the LORD gives more understanding I will add it there and then. But first I want to share something about the title of "prophet," which means this in the ancient Hebrew: "A fruit, any fruit hides the seed within it, and the fruit is produced from the inside of man. A knowledge of something that is not known by the five senses. One who brings forth the inner fruit."

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery carry a warning, part 10a
I am looking into "spiritual deafness" and its far reaching application and works. Again our targeted subject area is found in Deuteronomy 18:15-22 and even though it is an old testament topic it carries over into the kingdom life of the here and Now of Christ. Because of the little word "whosoever or whoever." The importance of our hearing again the voice of GOD and His Christ and the Holy Spirit is of much importance to me and those in the Family of GOD as Christ centered ones in spiritual union as one of GODS own. I will look first at "Spiritual Discernment" and then Spiritual Perception before the Dullness of such. I will be using the ESV translation and when the LORD expands on a passage I will share His revelation there and then.

Hebrews 5:9-10, 11-14 "For being made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, being designated by God a High Priest after the order of Melchizedek.
About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of GOD. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. For solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil."

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery carry a warning, part 10
We are making progress in our study of Deuteronomy 18:15-22, our next topic is the "Deafness" or put it this way "spiritual deafness" of some people. This has always been a great bother and irritation
for me. So maybe today is the day that this irritation is removed as we look into "spiritual deafness." The over all scope and size of this subject for me is staggering and because of it is part of this curse I will do the breath and width of it. And of course I will make use of the ESV translation because of it's easiness of reading and when the LORD gives insight I will immediately add it to the text.

And I heard the voice of the LORD saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here I am! Send me." And He said, "Go, and say to this people: "'Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.' Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn (repent) and be healed." Then I said, "How long, O LORD?" And He said: "Until cities lie waste without inhabitant, and houses without people, and the land is a desolate waste, and the LORD removes people far away, and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land. And though a tenth remain in it, it will be burned again, like a terebinth or an oak, whose stump remains when it is felled." The holy seed is its stump.(Deuteronomy 7:6)"
Jeremiah 6:9-15 "Thus says the LORD of hosts: "They shall glean thoroughly as a vine the remnant of Israel; like a grape gatherer pass your hand again over its branches." To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are uncircumcised, they cannot listen; behold, the word of the LORD is to them an object of scorn; they take no pleasure in it. Therefore I am full of the wrath of the LORD; I am weary of holding it in. "Pour it out upon the children in the street, and upon the gatherings of young men, also; both husband and wife shall be taken, the elderly and the very aged. Their houses shall be turned over to others, their fields and wives together, for I will stretch out my hand against the inhabitants of the land," declares the LORD (why is this so, part of the answer is in Ezra 9:2). "For from the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain; and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely. They have healed the wound of My people superficially, saying, 'Peace, peace,' when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown," says the LORD."

Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house. But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear. They made their hearts diamond-hard lest they should hear the law and the words that the LORD of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Therefore great anger came from the LORD of hosts. "As I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear," says the LORD of hosts, "and I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations that they had not known. Thus the land they left was desolate, so that no one went to and fro, and the pleasant land was made desolate."
Matthew 13:10-17 "Then the disciples came and said to Him, "Why do You speak to them in parables?" And He answered them, "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: "'You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive (Isaiah 6:9). For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them (Isaiah 6:10, Psalm 119:70, Zechariah 7:11).' But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."

From morning till evening he expounded to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets. And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement: "The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet: "'Go to this people, and say, "You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive (Isaiah 6:9). For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them (Isaiah 6:10).'" Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen."

2Timothy 4:1-5 "I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, Who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.* For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."
*This passage was part of the Words the LORD spoken to me back in August of 1971, after my return from Thailand. The LORD gave to me the same charge that Paul had given Timothy.
From here I want to look next at and I am torn here between continuing with Deafness or moving now to Hearing. Deafness has the following subtopics, discernment, perception, dullness... condemned, general references, of Israel and the disciples, of men and no understanding, these will be shared in random order. Then after these comes such things as Hearing, Accountability, False Prophets and more.

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery carry a warning, part 9a
In this post I will look at the second of two parts of "Whosoever's" of Deuteronomy 18:15-22. This whosoever deals with Salvation. Now for this study moving on without delay accept to say this. "Whosoever and whoever," acquires Salvation,
Luke 12:8-12 Jesus is speaking. "And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges Me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, but the one who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God. And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say."
John 4:7-14 "A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink." (For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to Him, "How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?" (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans dogs.) Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and Who it is that is saying to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water." The woman said to Him, "Sir, you have nothing to draw water with, and the well is deep. Where do you get this living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob? He gave us this well and drank from it himself, as did his sons and his livestock." To this Jesus said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
Acts 10:34-43 "So Peter opened his mouth and said: "Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears (reverences, honors and reveres) Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him. As for the word that He sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (He is LORD of all), you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with (Himself as the Christ in) the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was within Him. And we are witnesses of all that He (said and) did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. For they put Him to death by hanging Him on a tree, but GOD raised Him on the third day and made Him to appear (before us), not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead. For He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name." (Redemption, the receiving of forgiveness, is spoken of here.)
1John 5:1-4 "Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of Him. (this is Salvation) By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love (hear) God and obey His commandments. For this is the love (our restored fellowship, communion and honoring) of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."
Revelation 22:17 "The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.
