"The Secrets of GOD," as revealed by John in the Revealtion of Christ,some thoughts on a few subjects part 1 of 3, hidden insights, as seen with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

With this posting we are looking at several areas of thoughts as expressed at the end of our last visit, these are subject to editing by the LORD and His Holy Spirit as I write. The first is titled a thought on Judgment and the Resurrection, these done by the author of the Mirror Study Bible, a selection of New Testament texts paraphrased from the Greek by Francois du Toit, and endorsed by Demond Tutu and Bob Mumford.


Thoughts on Judgment and The Resurrection:

Continued from John 5:29, (this is in red letters because it is Jesus speaking) "'And they will come forth out of their graves - for those who have engaged themselves with that which is beneficial, it will be a resurrection to life - and for those who have done that which is worthless, it will be a resurrection unto [1]judgment.'" (The word, [1, G2920] krisis, often translated, judgment, does not mean damnation or condemnation! Judging involves setting affairs right between different parties, deciding an issue, coming to a conclusion.

The judgment of Jesus is the acquittal of the human race! "Surely He has borne our iniquities!" Isaiah 53:4-5.

Here is the Good News! Jesus boldly announced in John 12:31-33....'Now is the judgment of this world, Now shall the ruler of this world be cast out; and I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all [judgment] to Myself.' he said this to show by what death he was to die. [Judgment is the subject of the sentence here.]

John 16:11, (another red letter area) 'The Holy Spirit will convince this world concerning judgment, because the ruler of the world is judged.' [Just like Jesus and the Father - the Holy Spirit will not condemn this world but rather convince the world!]

Isaiah 25:7-8, 26:19, "And he will swallow up death for ever, and the LORD GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of His people He will take away from all the earth (humanity); For the LORD has spoken."

Hosea 6:2, "After two days He will revive us; On the third day he will raise us up!"

Ephesians 2:5-7, "This is how grace rescued us: sin left us dead towards GOD, like spiritual corpses; Yet in that state of deadness and indifference, GOD co-quickened us together with Christ. Sin proved how dead we were (the Law confirmed it!) Grace reveals how alive we Now are (the gospel announced it!). Before anyone but Grace believed it, he made us all alive together with Him and raised us up together with him. (We had no contribution to our salvation! GOD's Master-plan unfolded in the mystery: GOD found us in Christ before He lost us in Adam! [Eph. 1:4] In the economy of GOD, when Jesus died we died. GOD saw us in Christ, in His death and resurrection before we saw ourselves there! He declared our co-inclusion in His death, co-resurrection with Christ 800 BC [Hos 6:2]!) (As much as we were co-included in His death,) we were co-included in  His resurrection. We are also elevated in His ascension to be equally present in the Throne room of the heavenly realm where we originated, (Gen. 1:26-27) Now co-seated again with Him in His executive authority. We are fully represented in Christ Jesus. (Our joint position in Christ defines us; This can never again be a distant goal to reach through religious devotion or striving, but our immediate reference. (Col. 3:1-3) (In a single triumphant act of righteousness GOD saved us from the "gutter-most" to the uttermost. Here we are Now, revealed in Christ in the highest possible position of bliss! If humanity's sad history could not distract from the extravagant Agape of GOD, imagine how GOD is Now able for timeless perpetuity (the eternal future) to exhibit the trophy of the wealth of His grace demonstrated in His kindness towards us in Christ Jesus. Grace exhibits excessive evidence of the success of the cross. Our salvation is not a reward for good behavior! It is grace that from the start finished first place; We had no hand in it! Even the gift to believe simply reflects His faith! (By grace we are! Saved by the gift of faith; Grace reveals who we are, and the faith of GOD persuades us of it! We did not invent faith; It was GOD's faith to begin with! It is from faith to faith, [Rom. 1:17] He is both the source and conclusion of faith. [Heb. 12:2]) If this could be accomplished through any action of ours then there would be grounds for boasting.

Romans 8:34, What further ground can there possibly be to condemn humanity? In His death he face our judgment; In His resurrection he revealed our righteousness; The implications cannot be undone! he Now occupies the highest seat of authority as the executive of our redemption in the Throne room of GOD. (see verse 1, also in Rom. 4:25)

James 2:13, Judgment showed no mercy (Lam. 3:22) to those who do not walk in mercy, but mercy triumphs over judgment. (Those who walk in mercy walk in the law of liberty. [Gal. 5:22-23] There is no law against Agape. While judgment threatens condemnation, mercy interposed and prevails over judgment.)

1John 3:20-21, "So, even if our hearts would [1] accuse us of not really being true to ourselves, GOD is greater than our hearts and he has the full picture! His knowledge of us is not compromised." ( The word, [1, G2607 is from G2596 and G1097] kataginōskō, to find fault, is only used three times in the NT, translated, to blame, or condemn. Is from (G2596) kata,  down and (G1097) ginosko, to know, to perceive (discern).Beloved when we know what GOD knows to be true about us, then instead of condemning us, our hearts will endorse our innocence and [1] free our conversation before GOD." ( The word, [1, G3954 is from G3956 and a derivative of G4483; ] parrhēsia, or parresia, means out spoken, from (G3956) para, a preposition indicating close proximity, and (G4483) rheo, to pour forth; To flow freely, suggesting an unreservedness in speech; Bold utterance.)

1John 4:18-19, "Fear cannot co-exist in this Agape realm. The perfect Agape union that we have and are talking about expels fear. Fear holds on to an expectation of crisis and judgment [which brings separation] and interprets it as due punishment [a form of karma!] it echoes torment and only registers in someone who does not realize the completeness of their love union [with Father, Son and Spirit and with one another]. We Agape because He Agaped us first! [We did not invent this fellowship; We are invited into fellowship with Father and the Son!]) (The Mirror, with editing.)

"The Secrets of GOD," as revealed by John in the Revealtion of Christ, chapter 22:20, hidden insights, as seen with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are have reached the last three passages in six verses in our look into the book of Revelation what the LORD has next remains a mystery to me. The one thing that we can take away with our deep study is this: not all that is proclaimed by theologians is so! Nor is the Strong's Bible Word Dictionary trust worthy; And that means our Bible no matter its translation is not accurate or trust worthy. We are therefore forced to what the Lord Jesus said about the Spirit who would come after Him to teach and train us to see and to hear with clarity and understanding. The Bible language. But the author of the Mirror Study Bible has a few notes on chapter 22 that we shall include as we have his others, they are "Thoughts on Judgment and the Resurrection," with Thoughts on the "Power" of the Blood," and Thoughts of the word Proskuneo - often translated, worship."


The Final Message:

Revelation 22:18-19, 20, 21 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
He which testifieth these things saith, 'Surely I come quickly.' Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." (KJV)

Revelation 22:18-19, 20, 21 "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
He who testifies to these things says, 'Surely I am coming soon.' Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen." (ESV)




Revelation 22:18-19, 20, 21, ""Jesus is GOD's language and message to humanity. He is the context of Scripture. To add anything to His completed work in revealing and redeeming the image of GOD in human form, or taking anything away from what GOD spoke to us in Him, is to depart from the essence of the Gospel. 
The One, responding to the bidding of the Bride, on a disillusioned humanity's behalf [ like the prodigal returning home in the return of Jesus from our lost-ness and darkness] says, yes! I am the evidence of your return! Without any delay!


"Oh! You're so welcome Lord Jesus!," says the bride! I can't wait to embrace you home, my LORD and my GOD!"


The grace of the Lord Jesus is with everyone!" (Revelation ends with one final surprise, in the form of a textual variant in verse 21. Is grace declared to "all the Saints" (NRSV text footnotes)? The shorter reading is the more original! The words meta pantoon, with everyone is the original ending - some copyists felt more comfortable sneaking in another (that leaned towards their religious preference) "conditional clause!," meta toon hagion, with "the Saints!"


It is a typical threat to copyists of the book, that they are not to add to or remove any of its words. Similar imprecations can be found scattered throughout the range of earlier Christian writings. Commentators disagree keenly about the words in Rev. 22:18-19. Robert Charles rejects them as an interpolation and out of harmony with the rest of the book. [A critical and exegetical commentary on the Revelation of St. John by Charles, R.H. (Robert Henry), 1855-1931)

Revelation 22:18-19, assumes a settled text. We cannot disobey a prohibition against adding or taking away words when those words are uncertain to begin with.

There are about 200,000 variants in the 5300 manuscripts we have access to! These are not "errors" but variant readings, the most majority of which are strictly grammatical; But according to the warning we dare not add or take away any! Any of which ms are we talking about!! And by the way, Revelation is the book of the Bible with the most textual variants!

The first edition of the new testament with a Greek text was prepared by Erasmus and published in 1516. For Revelation, he based his Greek text on a single manuscript, minuscule 1r (now numbered 2814 according to the new Gregory-Aland number). 2/This manuscript, however, lacks the final verses of the book of Revelation, and in order to have a complete text, Erasmus retranslated these verses into Greek from the Latin. Elements of his retranslation survive in every edition of the so-called Textus Receptus, the standard text of the printed Greek new Testament until the nineteenth century...

Deliberate changes to the wording of the Book of Revelation itself were made to improve and clarify the force of its message. Here's one of many examples, see note on Rev. 20:5, The words, "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished!" were added at a time when the church claimed to be fulfilling the thousand-year reign of Christ. The Sinaitic MS., remarkable as being the oldest as well as for its completeness and accuracy, is the only Greek authority on Revelation ante-dating the fifth century: and it does not contain the clause.

Someone remarked, "If we're going to be cutting verses from the Bible, we should probably star with the one that's usually taken to threaten dire consequences for anyone who, er, cuts verses from the Bible!" (The Mirror, with editing.)

Now is the day Now is the time for our awakening to begin yet again as in each new generation of man the message is renewed again within man. May the LORD of ALL richly bless us all in our reception of His rhema that awakens His incarnation (Logos) within us.

We are narrowing down our studies of the Revelation of Christ not only within the confines of Scripture but on this blog. Soon and very soon we shall come to the appointed end as all things of this world are also appointed to die and then the cleansing by fire to purify all things. Before they become new again. Today's post is composed of only two passages.


Jesus Is Coming (has come) or The Final Message:

Revelation 22:16, 17 "'I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.'
"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." (KJV)

Revelation 22:16, 17 "'I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.'
"The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price." (ESV)

Revelation 22:16, 17, "'I am Jesus. I sent My Shepherd-Messengers to be witnesses of these things to you before the churches; Confirming to them that I am the Root and off spring of David, the radiant Morning Star!' (Rev. 5:5-6, Then one of the Elders said to me (John), "You need not weep anymore! Look! The Lion has conquered! He who is of the tribe of Judah, the root of David! His triumph qualifies Him to open the scroll and its seven seals!" So I looked to see the Lion, and there, as if fused into one with the Throne and in unison with the four living beings, taking center stage in the midst of the Elders, I saw a little Lamb, alive, alive and standing even though it seemed to have been violently butchered in sacrifice! It had seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven Spirits of GOD having been sent out to accomplish His bidding in all the earth (humanity)."

In Jesus, the prophetic word, which shines all along like a lamp (a great beacon) in the night, became the radiant Morning Star, rising in our hearts, announcing the full unveiled day! Rev. 9:1, "When the fifth Shepherd-Messenger blew his trumpet, I saw a star that had fallen to earth from the sky. This star given the key to the shaft into the fathomless depths of the Abyss." (The symbolic value of the number five is divine grace. Jesus is the bright Morning Star, Rev. 2:28 and 22:16, 'I am the bright Morning Star!' Also in 2Peter 1:19, [We have the prophetic word made more sure! RSV] For us the appearing of the Jewish Messiah is no longer a future promise but a fulfilled reality. Now it is our turn to have more than a second-hand, hearsay testimony. Take my word as one would take a lamp at night; The day is about to dawn for all humanity in our and their own understanding. When the Morning Star [phosphoros] appears, we no longer need a lamp; This will happen shortly for it is on the horizon of all human hearts and has happened in our own hearts already! In His death Jesus conquered the underworld and He has the keys; Absolutely, No-one else does! Rev. 1:17-18, "Observing all this I fell at His feet as a dead man; Then He laid His right hand on me and said, 'Do not be afraid! I am the origin and conclusion of all things. And the Living One; I became dead and 'Now, see,' here I am alive unto the ages of the ages and I have the keys wherewith I have disengaged the gates of Hades and Death!' Now look at Isaiah 14:12, [H1966 from H1984, הָלַל, to boast] הֵילֵל, means "shinning one," in the Greek, phosphoros - bearer of light [Septuagint] Latin, Lucifer, bearer of a false light! see note on The "Fallen Star" is the bright Morning Star, at the end of chapter 9.)
The Spirit and the Bride beckons, "Come!" And let everyone in whom this bold bidding resonates, extend the same urgent invitation, "Oh yes, come!" This is for the thirsty to come and quench their deepest longings by freely drinking from the water of Life!" (Now, Hear the prophetic echo in Isaiah's pleading of chapter 55:1-13, "'Ho, every one who thirsts, come to the waters; And he who has no money, come, buy and eat! "Come," buy wine and the finest wheat without money and without price! Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in fatness. Incline your ear, and come to Me; Hear, that your souls may live; And I will make you an everlasting covenant, My steadfast, sure Agape for David. Behold, you shall call Nations that you know not, and Nations that knew you not shall run to you, because of the LORD your GOD, and the Holy One of Israel, for He has glorified you. "Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near; Let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrighteous man his thoughts (perverse mindset); Let him return to the LORD, that He may have mercy on him, and to our GOD, for He will abundantly pardon. For My thoughts are not their thoughts, neither are their ways My way, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than their ways and My thoughts than their thoughts. 'For as the rain (grace) and the snow (grace) come down from heaven, and return not thither (back again) but water the earth (humanity), making it bring forth and sprout (the hidden seed within human hearts), giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater (hearer), so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and prosper in the thing for which I sent it. 'For you shall go out in joy, and be led forth in peace; The mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; And it shall be to the LORD for a memorial, for an everlasting sign which shall not be cut off!'") We are into what many of my study Bible's call the Return of Jesus." Well let us see what we can discover of this or possibly some other hidden truth. Form the restored, renewed mindset that is. And not some religious theology of ideology concept.

 
Jesus is Coming Soon, or The Final Message:

Revelation 22:12-13, 14-15 "And, behold, (Jesus is speaking) 'I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  
"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie." (KJV) 

Revelation 22:12-13, 14-15 "Behold, 'I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.' 
"Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood." (ESV)

Revelation 22:12-13, 14-15, "'Behold, [again in Aorist Imperative!] 'Now get the message, once and for all! 'I [1]am come!' There are no further delays! This is the hour the Prophets pointed to! And My reward is with Me, to give to each as His [the Lamb's] work is.' ( The verb, [1, G2064] ἔρχομαι erchomai, is in the Present Indicative Tense, I am come! Here john again repeated what the Prophets spoke concerning this time! [Isaiah 62:11], Behold, the LORD has made it to be heard to the end of the earth. Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold! Your salvation comes! Behold! His reward is [2] with Himself, and His work [3] before Him!] (The [2, H854] Hebrew, אֵת, 'êth, ayth,..Aleph Tau, are the first and last letters of their Alphabet just as Alpha and Omega are the first and the last letters of the Greek Alphabet! 'My works go [3] before Me,' Hebrew, [3, H6440] pânı̂ym, paw-neem', pawneem, is fullness of joy! The same as Psalm 16:11, "In your "presence" pawneen is fullness of joy! There is definitely no reference here of man's work - the entire prophetic context of salvation points to the work of the Messiah! Note, Your salvation is His work! Isaiah 62:11. See also 1Peter 1:17, "Now since you are defined in your Father, who does not judge anyone on face value, but always only according to His work; (His finished work in Christ) wherever you find yourself located geographically or emotionally, return to your 'at homeness' in Him; You are not defined by your circumstances. (The word G390 from G303 and G4762, anastrepho, suggests a radical returning; Literally a turning upside down! Actually G303 ana, means upward - so its a turning downside up!) and to further emphasize the strong influence of the hebrew text quoted here, the next verse continues with the same theme and further conclusion of the Aleph Tau and Alpha Omega!) I am the [1]Alpha and the Omega - the initiator and the [2]conclusion; the genesis and completeness.' ( ἐγώ τό εἰμί  Α καί τό Ω, ὁ  πρῶτος καί ὁ ἔσχατος, ἀρχή καί ὁ τέλος. ego to A kai to Ω , ho protos kai ho eschatos; arche kai telos! The union of Alpha and Omega, in Greek, make the verb aw, I breathe. And in hebrew the union of the first and last letter in their alphabet, Aleph and Tau makes אֵת, et, which the Rabbis interpreted the first matter out of which all things were formed, [Gen. 1:1] this is untranslatable into English but, says Rabbi Aben Ezra, "it signifies the substance of the thing!" The revelation of Jesus as the Alpha and Omega is the one in whom we live, more and have our being! he is indeed closer to us all than the air we breathe! Don't waste a day waiting for another day or time! I am the initiator and the eschatos. Eschatology is defined in My I-am-ness.) 

 

"Oh the [1]bliss and intense delight of those clothed in [2]washed garments - having realized the [3]authority of their redeemed innocence and identity; They have sourced their I-am-ness in the Tree of Life. This is their access thru the gates into the city. ( The word, [1, G3107,  a prolonged form of the poetical μάκαρ makar (meaning the same)] makarios, blessed, suggests, a special intensity of delight. The King James Bible, using the Textus Receptus, reads, Blessed are they that do his commandment, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city - ποιέω [do] ἔσομαι ἐντολή [commandments]; Instead of the much older manuscripts which read, νίπτω washed ἱμάτιον garments. The variation here is clearly a deliberate change. The observation of the commandments elsewhere uses terein, treasure not poiountes, do! The word translated authority, [3, G1849 from G1832 exesti, third person singular present indicative of a compound of G1537 and G1510;] exousia, privilege, from (G1537) ek, source and (G1510) eimi, I am.) [In total contrast to this bliss, are the thirst ones!] Those who love (G5368 phileo) and live lies are outside the city gates like stray dogs. The sorcerers and their witchcraft, selling their bodies in prostitution; Murders, consumed by the business of idolatry." (To them the Spirit and the bride say, COME!!! Rev. 22:17) (The Mirror, with editing.)

 

Until our next visit when the LORD willing, we shall look at 22:16 and beyond. Now may the LORD of ALL bring all of humanity to an awakening of His revelation within them redeemed.

With this posting we have reached 2200 posts all dealing with the revelation of Christ in us and more about this special Spirit assigned to us by GOD our Father, as He also was the man Jesus of Deuteronomy 18's assignment of Him. The Jewish and Jew's Messiah. Who brought to light the Life of GOD restored within all of Humanity as first promised in Genesis 3 short after the first human ate of the forbidden tree's fruit, that through the system of all good thing into a tail spin down ward and all because of the flesh in place of the spiritual.


The River and the Tree of Life:
(Jesus is Coming)

Revelation 22:6, 7, 8-11 "And he (the angel of 21:9) said unto me, "These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done."
(The LORD is speaking) 'Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.'
"And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, "See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God." And he saith unto me, "Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still." (KJV)

Revelation 22:6, 7, 8-11 "And he (the angel of 21:9) said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place."
(The LORD is speaking) 'And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.'
"I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God." And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy." (ESV) 

Revelation 22:6, 7, 8-11, "And he (the angel of 21:9) said to me, "These words are certain and true; The GOD of the spirits of the Prophets, has commissioned His Shepherd-Messenger to point His bond-servants, to that, which according to all the prophetic pointers, is to inevitably have happened in a brief moment of time." (A [1]bond servant (Gen. 15:2 and 44:9) is one who cleaves to his master out of no other obligation but total loving devotion.

This is a repeat of Revelation 1:1, "Jesus Christ [1] unveiled! This is the revelation of GOD's [2] gift which was wrapped up [3] in Him, in order to clearly illustrate to His bond-servants that, which according to prophetic pointers, [4] inevitably [5] was to have happened in a brief moment of time; This message was [6] vividly portrayed in symbolic pictures by His Shepherd-herald, commissioned to communicate its mystery to His bond-servant John." ( The word, [1, G602 from G601 apokaluptō, means to disclose and this is from G575 and G2572] apokalupsis, means to uncover. The word, [2, G1325] didōmi, means to give; To fashion; To extend; To present. The word [3, G846 from the particle αὖ au] autos, autoo, is the personal pronoun in the Dative case, indicating location in. The word, [4, G1163 third person singular active present of G1210; also δεόν deon which is neuter active participle] dei, to bind; Thus predictable, necessary, inevitable. John employs the verb, [5, G1096] ginomai, to beget, in the Aorist Infinitive tense, genesthai, which indicates prior completion of an action in relationship to a point in time. Greek infinitives could have either a present or Aorist form. The contrast between the two forms was not necessarily one of time, it is a difference of aspect. The present Infinitive was used to express progressive or imperceptive aspect. It pictures the action expressed by the verb as being in progress. The Aorist Infinitive however does not express progressive aspect. It presents the action expressed by the verb as a completed unit with a beginning and end. The word [6, G4591 from σῆμα sēma] sēmainō, to give a symbolic sign, to mark, signify; To picture; To portray. Symbolism and imagery played a significant role throughout this book. John would employ pictures that his mostly Jewish audience already understood, because they were familiar within their own prophetic writings.)

(Jesus now speaks) 'Behold, I am not distant from you! I am at hand - see My closeness, not My absence! Blessed is the one who treasures the prophetic value of the Scriptures.' (Revelation 1:2-3, John gave accurate evidence to the word of GOD and the testimony of Jesus Christ, exactly as he saw it. Blessed is the one who reads and those who hear with understanding the words of this prophetic enlightenment and treasure what is recorded in this writing; It's time has come!)

I, John am the one hearing and perceiving these things! I have indeed heard and seen! I fell prostrate in worship at the feet of the Shepherd-Messenger who showed me these things. He immediately stopped me and said, "I want you to see something else! As a Shepherd-Messenger I am a joint bond-servant and brother of your family, the Prophets. We are all one family!" (see also Rev. 19:10) He told me not to seal this conversation in futuristic, prophetic language since it's time has come! [This is the final conclusion where humanity's self-help programs are brought to naught!] This is not about how [1]out of sync or righteous you are; Neither about how soiled your garments or how squeaky clean and holy you are by your own efforts and standards! Those who are out of [1]sync, [2]so be it! Those whose garments are soiled [2]so be it! Those who are righteous and holy [2]so be it!" ( The word often translated, unrighteous, [1, G91 from G94 adikos, unjust, is from G1 a, (as a negative particle) and G1349 dikē,] (adike) (G91 adikeō), the G1 a , is a negative and the G1349 dike or dikay, means two parties in sync with one another; Shared likeness (seen in Gen. 1:26-27) - thus, adike means to be out of sync (this took place in Gen. 3). Our own doings do not define us! It is the Lamb's doings that define us all! From beginning to the end! He is our Alpha and Omega!

The [2] Aorist Imperative is employed here again and again, "Let them be! [2]So be it! - and thus, very intentionally, emphasizes the fact that whatever it is that people base their moral condition on, is just that - now leave it there; Don't try and change yourself - realize once and for all that its not our efforts that's gonna get it right! The distinction between the Aorist imperative and the present imperative in one of aspect, not tense. It's important to distinguish between tense [eg..past, present, future] and aspect [eg..completed, repeated, one-time, ongoing]. The Aorist Imperative points to a once and for all completed action, "Get it over and done with!") (The Mirror, with editing.)

"The Secrets of GOD," as revealed by John in the Revealtion of Christ, chapter 22:1, hidden insights, as seen with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

No one has noticed or commented on the headings used of late. As all things have become new and especially our mindset as we have revealed within the context of Scripture. This can be heard and seen in Romans 12:1-3. Now for the last chapter in your Bible, Revelation 22, and its headings of:


The River of Life and the Tree of Life:

Revelation 22:1-5 "And he (the one that had one of the seven vessel, chapter 21:9) of  shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; And his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever." (KJV)

Revelation 22:1-5 "Then the angel (of chapter 21:9) showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever." (ESV)

Revelation 22:1-5, "And he (the Shepherd-Messenger or the angel of 21:9) pointed to me a river with crystal clear, living (meaning swiftly flowing) waters, flowing out of GOD's Throne, endorsing the reign of the Lamb. (Again this picture is taken from familiar Jewish prophetic narratives. Zechariah 14:7-8, 10-11, 16; and John 7:37-38; "And there shall be continuous day, no night; Every evening will be a new morning. On that day living waters shall flow out from Jerusalem, it shall continue in summer as in winter....The land will stretch out spaciously around Jerusalem --- to Geba in the north and Rimmon in the south, with Jerusalem towering at the center, and the commanding city gates --- Gate of Benjamin to First Gate to Corner Gate to Hananel Tower to the Royal Winery --- encircling the city. And they shall live in it. And there shall not again be a shutting in, but Jerusalem shall dwell safely....Then all the nations shall go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And the LORD will become king over all the earth; On that day the LORD will be One and His name One. Now for John 7:37-38, "On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and proclaimed, 'If any one thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes Me, as the Scriptures say, 'Out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.'" Just like Babylon is not a city in the symbolic language of Revelation, it is a fallen-mindset society; So the New Jerusalem is not a city but the redeemed (Roman's 12:2 of 1-3, renewed mind set) society of all of humanity! The bride of Christ! In John 7:37-38, when Jesus spoke of waters gushing forth out of our innermost being, he said that you are that city! We are the bride! GOD's redeemed society!) The Tree of Life is the central theme throughout the City - right down the middle of the street, as well as on each side of the River, producing twelve varieties of ripe fruit, all year round. The [1]leaves of the Tree are for the healing of the Nations. (The leaves of this tree define the tree. This is where the remarkable process of photosynthesis takes place. With sunlight, the leaves convert leaves dioxide into oxygen.

Again these beautiful pictures are reflecting Jewish prophetic writings.... see Eze. 47:12, "For the river itself, on both banks, will grow fruit trees of all kinds. Their leaves won't wither, the fruit won't fail. Every month they'll bear fresh fruit because of the river from the Sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing."

Then in Genesis 3:22, on the Tree of Life, "'Behold (GOD is speaking), The man, who was already created like one of US, now also partook of the knowledge of evil; [the idea of, "I am not who GOD says that I am and created me to be;"] (the lie of all lies) and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of this Tree of Life, and eat and live for ever in this "lost identity" state..." The text does not say, "he has now become like one of US!" The original Hebrew and the most authentic versions use the Perfect Tense, hayah, which is the qal stem, masculine, third person, active, and in the perfect form, and signifies was, not "is." The Samaritan text, the Syriac, and the Septuagint, have the same tense. The Greek verb, is the perfect active indicative tense of ginomai. See the note on 1John 3:12, Thought on, "Why the other tree and why the temptation in the Garden?") There will be no memory of any [1]curse! GOD's Throne, endorsing the reign of the Lamb will be the presence in her. Mankind's redeemed innocence is the central theme of this city! And they, His [2]bond-Bride, will [3]worship Him for all eternity! (See Galatians 3:11-14,(The Mirror) "Habakkuk confirmed conclusively the righteousness by GOD's Faith is the only basis of life; This terminated any possible justification before GOD based on our behavior. (Hab. 2:4, 3:17-19) The Law and faith have nothing in common! The Law measures a person's doing and experience as defining their life. While Faith measures GOD's doing in redeeming His design in us, as defining our lives, Now; Christ redeemed us from the [1]curse as the consequence of our failures to keep the Law. In His Cross He concentrated the total curse of the human race upon Himself. In His abandoning Himself to our death sentence, He absorbed and dissolved the horror of the curse in His own (humanity as a) human person. Scripture declares that anyone hung on a tree embodies the curse. (Deu. 21:23) This act of Christ released the blessing of Abraham upon the Gentiles! Now we are free to receive the blessing of the Spirit. (Righteousness by GOD's faith in the achievement of Christ, and not as a reward for our behavior.) In the obedience of Christ, Deuteronomy 28 is out-dated and destroyed! [Romans 5:19, Ephesians 1:3] The mass of non-Jewish Nations are equally included.)

Again quoting from Jewish Scripture, Zech. 14:11, "And the city shall be inhabited, for there shall be no more curse; Jerusalem shall dwell in security." (RSV)

The word, [2, G1401 from G1210] doulos, means slave, is from (G1210) deo, to bind; Also, to be bound together in wedlock. (Also from a French word (found in Genesis 3:15 'heel') meaning to bind as in to hinder, to lock up, to resist, to restrict.)

Here John intentionally employed the Jewish word for worship, [3, G3000, translated serve] latreuō, from λάτρις latris, to serve [in some contexts, for a wage; For hire,] but in the Jewish context describing their sacrificial service to GOD; see Paul's use in Acts 26:6-7, "And now for the hope of the promise having been made by GOD to the fathers; To which our twelve tribes hope to arrive, worshiping [latreuo] in earnestness night and day."

A Jew would be offended by the application of this term to Christian worship. In Philippians 3:3, Paul, however, takes this word and converts it to spirit worship, "We give "circumcision" its true spiritual meaning! Our worship (G3000) [latreuo] is not defined by anything external that should even remotely resemble the Law of works and religious rituals, doctrines, rites, and unbelief! We worship GOD in the certainty of our redeemed innocence and rejoice in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Faith-righteousness gives substance to spiritual worship; The flesh occupies the religious (corrupted) mindset with its own futile efforts to attain to righteousness.") And we will gaze upon Him, face to face; Recognizing every distinct detail of His divine features mirrored within you! his Name will find a face in you! (The word [1, G3359, from G3326 and ὤψ ōps, countenance, forehead] metopon, the face, is from (G3326) meta, properly denoting accompaniment. Also used in Rev. 3:12. see Psalm 17:15, "As for me, I shall behold Your face in righteousness; When I awaken, I shall be satisfied, beholding Your form." and then in Psalm 34:5, "Look Him in the face - you'll glisten with GOD. You'll gleam, your face will scream, "GOD!" 2Cor. 3:18, "We've got our masks off; GOD's brilliance is bounding off our faces! We're a glow from knowing Him!" Quote taken from Rob Lacey.

"The whole earth is full of His Glory!" Isaiah 6:3) No more night! No lamps; Not even sunlight is required! Master GOD engulfs them with Light. And in this light will they reign supreme for ever and ever!" ("And the nations shall come to Your light and their kings to the brightness of Your rising!" Isaiah 60:3, "In Your light do we see the light!" Psalm 36:9 and 2Cor. 4:6. see also Rev. 21:23, "And the city had no need of the sun, not of the moon, that they might shine in it, for the Glory of GOD illuminates it; The Lamb is its lamp.") This begins the end of our Bible studies as far as they go. But the LORD willing there shall be more to come under His leading. Until our next visit may the LORD increase our knowledge of HIM.

We are now at the threshold of the second of two notes written by the author of the Mirror Study Bible, a Bible like no other because it takes the redeemed and restored mindset approach to the Scriptures. A Bible style like that I myself would have written after doing the deep dive kind of researching of the Scriptures. And the Secret Things of GOD, spoken of in Deuteronomy 29:29 and the Mystery's of Jesus, that were in a limited fashion of reveal speaking because He was under restraint of the Psalms and the Prophets. Now for the "Splendor of the Gates - the redeemed beauty of the Bride." Preparing the way for chapter 22 and a new revealing.


Splendor of the Gates - the redeemed beauty of the Bride:

Revelation 21:18-22, "And the structure (the city cube) of its wall were of jasper; And the city was pure gold, like pure crystalline glass. And the thresholds of every gate in the wall of this city were beautifully adorned with every precious stone. The first threshold, jasper; The second, sapphire; The third, chalcedony; The fourth, emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; The sixth, sadius; The seventh, chrysolite; The eighth, beryl; The ninth, topaz; The tenth, chrysoprasus; The eleventh, [1] hyacinth; The twelfth, amethyst. (see note on Hyacinth in Rev. 9:17) And each one of the twelve gates were an individual giant pearl. And the streets of this city are purest gold like transparent crystalline glass. And I saw no temple in it, for the LORD GOD, the Supreme power vest in the Lamb, is its Temple." (The twelve gems correspond closely with the twelve gem stones on the breastplate of the priest's of Exodus 28:17, and 39:10. The Hebrew term for the breastplate (H2833), חֹשֶׁן, chôshen (hosen), describes its appearance, probably derived from the same source as the Arabic (hasuna), which means "to be beautiful" see Ezra 28:12-13.

Exodus 24:10 "And they saw the GOD of Israel; And there was under his feet as it were a pavement of sapphire stone, like the very heaven for its transparency."

Isaiah 54:10-14 "'For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but My steadfast Agape shall not depart from you, and My covenant of Peace shall not be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion on you. O, afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of rubes, and your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones. All your sons shall be taught by the LORD (Hos. 6:1-3), and great shall be the prosperity of your sons. in His righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.'"

Everything lost (hidden within us by the actions of) Adam and woman (Eve) is Now fully redeemed in the (Ekklesia) Bride.

A graphic narrative is recorded on the perfect beauty of mankind in the garden of Eden and their fall from grace and glory into the Prostitute-mindset-systems of the DIY - Tree. Looking to Ezekiel 28:12-19, "You were  the signet of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of GOD (speaking of the fallen angel known as Satan); Every precious stone was your covering, carnelian, topaz, and jasper, chrysolite, beryl, and onyx, sapphire, carbuncle, and emerald; And wrought in gold were your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created they were prepared. With an anointed guardian cherub I placed you; You were on the holy mountain of GOD; In the midst of the stones of fire you walked. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you. In the abundance of your trade [see note on the currency of sin-consciousness at the end of Rev. 13] you were filled with violence, and you sinned; So I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of GOD, and the guardian cherub drove you out from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was proud because of your beauty; You corruption because your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the (earth's) ground; I exposed you before kings, to feast their eyes on you. By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your trade you profaned your sanctuaries; So I brought forth fire from the midst of you; It consumed you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you. All who you among the peoples are appalled at you; You have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more for ever." (See the note on the Lake of Fire at the end of Rev. 19. also the notes on the Sword of the LORD, Rev. 2:16 and 1:16, The sword would always point back to mankind's original identity. The Hebrew word in Genesis 3:24, [where the cherub with the flaming sword was positioned at the Eastern Gate of Eden] (H2015) הָפַךְ, hâphak, is of a primitive root; meaning to turn about; By implication to change, to return, to be converted, turn back. Also in the Septuagint the same thought is communicated in the Greek word, strepho, which is the strengthened form of the base word, tropay; To turn around or reverse: - convert, turn again, back again, to turn self about! As seen in Luke 15, where the prodigal son returns to himself - Plato is quoted by Ackerman [Christian Element in Plato] as thinking of redemption as coming to oneself! To awaken to our true estate of the flesh ruled life verses our original design of a spirit life.

In the symbolic language the judgment of the Dragon, the beast and the Whore; The counterfeit Trinity, is not a judgment against an entity (humanity), but against a corrupt mindset-system. A virus doesn't have a life system of its own - it requires a host!) (The Mirror, with editing.)

With the last portion we find that our "judgement of a wrong mindset" is not a judgment of a person, but rather a personality, as so many wrongly say; But is rather against that which has already been judged. We then exercise discernment.
