The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery part 15

Picking up again the secret and mystery of GOD's being restored to man's spirit as promised in Genesis 3:15 and this being for the nations of chapter 12:3. Because GOD is no respecter of persons.
The following are a few examples of our Unity with GOD....this is to say the Immanuel Messiah....Christ, as seen in the man Jesus our example for this new life. Then I will look at the Prophesied true as our make of true faith, in our relationship being restored within us. Keep in mind the hidden meaning of Ish-rael and Immanuel-Messiah, GOD's Spirit being restored within man.

Unity Examples of,

Acts 1:12-14 with 2:1, 4:32, 5:12 "Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away. And when they had entered, they went up to the upper room, where they were staying, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot and Judas the son of James. All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers."

Acts 2:1-4 "When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Acts 4:32-35 "Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need."

Acts 5:12-16 "Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people of one accord by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon's Portico. None of the rest dared join them, for the people held them in high esteem. And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them. The people also gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all healed."

Prophesied, the Progressive Mark of true faith:

Old Differences Forgiven,

Isaiah 11:11-16 "In that day the LORD will extend His hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of His people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea. He will raise a signal for the nations and will assemble the banished of Israel, and gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. The jealousy of Ephraim shall depart, and those who harass Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah, and Judah shall not harass Ephraim. But they shall swoop down on the shoulder of the Philistines in the west, and together they shall plunder the people of the east. They shall put out their hand against Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites shall obey them. And the LORD will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt, and will wave His hand over the River with His scorching breath, and strike it into seven channels, and He will lead people across in sandals. And there will be a highway from Assyria for the remnant that remains of His people, as there was for Israel when they came up from the land of Egypt."

Harmony among Leaders,

Isaiah 52:6, 7-10 "Therefore My people shall know My name. Therefore in that day they shall know that it is I who speak; here I AM."
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns."  The voice of your watchmen—they lift up their voice; together they sing for joy; for eye to eye they see the return of the LORD to Zion. Breaking forth together into singing, you waste places of Jerusalem, for the LORD has comforted His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem. The LORD has bared His holy arm before the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God."

Contrition Unifies Believers,

Special reading,

Jeremiah 3:15-18 "'And I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. And when you have multiplied and been fruitful in the land, in those days, declares the LORD, they shall no more say, "The ark of the covenant of the LORD." It shall not come to mind or be remembered or missed; for it shall not be made again. At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the LORD, and all nations shall gather to it, to the presence of the LORD in Jerusalem, and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heartIn those days the house of Judah shall join the house of Israel, and together they shall come from the land of the north to the land that I gave your fathers for a heritage."
The warnings against mystery Babylon (mans false belief system called religion), read all of Jeremiah 50 where we find this.

Jeremiah 50:4-5 with Hosea 1:11 "In those days and in that time, declares the LORD, the people of Israel and the people of Judah shall come together, weeping as they come, and they shall seek the LORD their God. They shall ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, saying, 'Come, let us join ourselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.'"
Hosea 1:10-11 "Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. And in the place where it was said to them, "You are not My people," it shall be said to them, "Children of the living GOD (the Ish-rael)." And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint for themselves one head. And they shall go up from the land, for great shall be the day of Jezreel (the of  seed deity, "El," is conceived or is known)."

All Gathered into One Fold,

John 10:11-18 Jesus is speaking. "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know My own and My own know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from My Father."

The Prayer for  a United Church,

John 17:20-24 Jesus is speaking."I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe Me through their word, that they may all be one, just as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be in US, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me. The glory that You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one even as We are One, I in them and You in Me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that You sent Me and love them even as You love Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given Me, may be with Me where I am, to see My glory that You have given Me because You love Me before the foundation of the world."

All Separation Removed In Christ,

Ephesians 2:11-22 "Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called "the uncircumcision" by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenant of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the Law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that He might create in Himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in One Body through the cross, thereby killing the (enmity of) hostility. For He came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. For through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone, in Whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the LORD. In Him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for GOD by the Spirit."

Read Nehemiah 4 in the discernment of overcomers of verses 9-23.

Next a look at our essential for success, the LORD willing.

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery part 14

Because of the words of connection to the corruption that was growing when "Christianity" began we now know that mans religion is the source of the resistance through the many antichrists of denominationalism that fosters a false ideology. These all drank of the challis of the prince of darkness, the prince of the power of the air. Its magnitude is great and far reaching. The schemes of Satan being exposed by the Holy Spirit. The Muslim religion is of this beast, a political religious ideology. But it is not alone, as all divisions of the church world are contributing factors. Because they use the Bible in an evil manner to promote their ideology through the twisting of scripture. We are seeing the effects of this in what is taking place in our world today. There is but one religion before GOD and it is this, the care for widows in their affliction and visiting and feeding orphans and to keep oneself unstained by world.(James 1:27)
Todays target is our being "Exhorted to be One in Unity" in  Christ.

Exhortation to Unity,

1Corinthians 1:10-17 "I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. For it has been reported to me by Chloe's people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers. What I mean is that each one of you says, "I follow Paul," or "I follow Apollos," or "I follow Cephas," or "I follow Christ." Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, so that no one may say that you were baptized in my name. (I did baptize also the household of Stephanas. Beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized anyone else.) For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach His gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power."

Examine yourself,

2Corinthians 13:5-10, 11-13, 14 "Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test! I hope you will find out that we have not failed the test. But we pray to God that you may not do wrong—not that we may appear to have met the test, but that you may do what is right, though we may seem to have failed. For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. Your restoration be made complete, is what we pray for. For this reason I write these things while I am away from you, that when I come I may not have to be severe in my use of the authority that the LORD has given me for building up and not for tearing down.
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be within you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be within you all."

Unity of the Spirit,

Ephesians 4:1-6 "I therefore, a prisoner for the LORD, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one Body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one LORD, one faith, one baptism, one GOD and Father of all, Who is over all and through all and in all."

To Live Is Christ,

Philippians 1:21, 27-30 with 4:2, Colossians 2:2 "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened or offended in anything by your opponents. For this is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and this of God. For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe Him but also suffer for His sake, engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have."

Philippians 4:2-3 "I entreat Euodia and I entreat Syntyche to agree in the LORD. Yes, I ask you also, true companion, help these women, who have labored side by side with me in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life."

We are built up in Christ,

Colossians 2:1-5, 6-7 "For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea and for all who have not seen me face to face, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ, in Whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I say this in order that no one may delude you with plausible arguments. For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the LORD, so walk in (live by) Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving."

Godly Living,

1Peter 3:8-12 Finally to sum up, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing. For "Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; (Psalm 34:12-13) let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. (Psalm 34:14) For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil (Psalm 34:15-16)."

The LORD willing I will look at some examples to the above and then Prophesies, as a mark of true faith.

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery part 13

Wonder of wonders todays post deals with our being counted as saints not dependent of some religious organizations ruling as meeting its accepted requirements. For today we will find that when we have the revelation of the LORD as our being One with Him and He being One with us we are in fellowship and saints approved by GOD, not simple mere men. And as has become my norm I will make use of the ESV translation and when the LORD gives more to add I will do so instantly without question or hesitation.

Our Friendship of Fellowship as Saints of GOD,

Heth.
Psalm 119:57-64 "The LORD is my portion; I promise to keep Your words. I entreat Your favor with all my heart; be gracious to me according to Your promise. When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to Your testimonies; I hasten and do not delay to keep Your commandments. Though the cords of the wicked ensnare me, I do not forget Your (righteous ordinances) law. At midnight I rise to praise You, because of Your righteous rules. I am a companion of all who reverence and revere You, of those who keep Your precepts. The earth, O LORD, is full of Your steadfast love; teach me Your statutes!"

Malachi 3:16-18 with Luke 24:15 "Then those who revere the LORD spoke with one another. The LORD paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before Him of those who revered the LORD and esteemed His name (Christ is the "I AM" of Exodus 3:14 and John 8:58). "They shall be Mine, says the LORD of hosts, in the day when I make up My treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him."

Luke 24:13-27 The scene is after the resurrection.  "That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were kept from recognizing Him. And He said to them, "What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?" And they stood still, looking sad. Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered Him, "Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?" And He said to them, "What things?" And they said to Him, "Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how our chief priests and rulers delivered Him up to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. But we had hoped that He was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened. Moreover, some women of our company amazed us. They were at the tomb early in the morning, and when they did not find His body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that He is alive. Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but Him they did not see." And He said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into His glory?" And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He interpreted (explained) to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself."

Acts 2:36, 37-42 with Romans 1:12 Peter's sermon. "Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that GOD has made Him both LORD and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified."
Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the LORD our God calls to Himself." And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, "Save yourselves from this crooked generation." So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."

Romans 1:7, 8-15, 16-17 Paul is speaking from the standpoint of the redeemed. "To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
"First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in all the world. For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I mention you always in my prayers, asking that somehow by God's will I may now at last succeed in coming to you. For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine. I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I have often intended to come to you (but thus far have been prevented), in order that I may reap some harvest among you as well as among the rest of the Gentiles. I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish. So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of GOD for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith."

Philippians 1:3-11 "I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that He Who began a good work in you will bring it to completion (perfection) at the day of Christ as Jesus. It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ in Jesus. And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day (the revelation) of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus as Christ, to the glory and praise of God."

1John 1:5-10 "This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses (redeems) us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."

Tomorrow the LORD willing I will pick up with "Exhortation to Unity."

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery part 12

Here we are again beginning with Romans, in our prior study I listed the breakdown of the things within the context of the first five chapters. Now I will begin with chapter twelve falls at the last chapter of the three dealing with Israel's Judaism and history within chapters ten through twelve. Chapter twelve deals with Israel's dedication to service, I will pick up at verse three for the study on our Unity In Christ of all believers. As we receive the revelation of GOD in Christ and actually being the Immanuel Messiah.... the Christ in the man Jesus. This great hidden truth Jesus Himself spoke of in open and plan language throughout His earthly ministry, as the second Adam. As the second Adam He established through death the secret of GOD's Spirit in mans again. Giving those who can receive this revelation sons of GOD again as man was in Genesis 2. Where man was dependent upon the Spirit GOD in him, having the mind of Christ.

Believers Unity with Christ,

Romans 12:3-8 "For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For (we) as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness."

1Corinthians 10:14-22 with 12:12 "Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. I speak as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say. The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread. Consider the people of Israel: are not (they) those who eat the sacrifices participants in the altar? What do I imply then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Shall we provoke the LORD to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?"

Now here is a little known Bible secret where Paul uses the "therefore" phrase, he wants us to return to what he just stated to get the full intent and purpose of what then follows.

1Corinthians 12:12-13 "For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit."

Galatians 3:4-5, 6-8 "Did you suffer so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith— just as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness"? (Genesis 15:6) Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "In you shall all the nations be blessed." (Genesis 12:3) So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith."

Galatians 3:23-29 "Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law (of sin and death), imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed. So then, the law (the Laws of Moses) was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian (the Law), for in Christ (in) Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise."

Ephesians 4:7-16 "For grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift. Therefore it says, "When He ascended on high He led a host of captives (Matthew 27:51-54), and He gave gifts to men." (Psalm 68:18, Colossians 2:15) (In saying, "He ascended," what does it mean but that He had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? (Isaiah 44:23) He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) And He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him Who is the head, into Christ, from Whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love."

The next area of study is "saint's fellowship."

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery part 11

I am about to recap what is stated about our being United to Christ or in Union with Christ. Because this to is and remains a mystery because of the resistance in the worlds religious institutions of denominationalism. I have said it before and will stated it again, religion is to hinder or be in resistance to GOD, mans first state of rebellion. And as is my custom I will use the ESV translation and under the LORD's leading. The first scripture comes after the revelation of God's view of man as outlined in Romans 1:18 through 32 this being subtitled Immorality and Amoral man. Then next is chapter 2:1 through 16, moral man, and then 2:17 through 3:20, religious man, next beginning at verse 19 through 4:8 applies to all, beginning with 4:1 through 5:5 deals with Imputed Righteousness. Our scripture falls within Believers United to Christ of 7:1 through 12, picking things up at verse 4 through 6 where we have the following. From here I plan to move on the LORD willing to such things as "Christ's indwelling" and others.

Unity with Christ,

Romans 7:4-6 "Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to Him Who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God. For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code."

1Corinthians 6:7-8, 9-11, 12-20 "To have lawsuits (arguments) at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? But you yourselves wrong and defraud—even your own brothers!
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

The Body is the LORD's,

"All things are lawful for me," but not all things are helpful. "All things are lawful for me," but I will not be dominated by anything. "Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food"—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, "The two will become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24) For he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."

2Corinthians 11:1-6 "I wish you would bear with me in a little foolishness. Do bear with me! For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ. For I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough. Indeed, I consider that I am not in the least inferior to these super-apostles. (Paul identifies the agents of the fails gospel as apostles.) Even if I am unskilled in speaking, I am not so in knowledge; indeed, in every way we have made this plain to you in all things."

Marriage likened to Christ and His Church,

Ephesians 5:24, 25-33 "Now as the Church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loves the church and gave Himself up for her, that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that He might present the Church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the Church, because we are members of His Body. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24) This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the Church. However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband."

Do Not love the World,

1John 2:15-17, 18-25 "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.
The world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will (plan and purposes) of God abides forever. Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us. For you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.(Religion separates Jesus from Christ by its rehearsing the man Jesus as the central figure of worship, this is idolatry. This is a fine line of distinction.) No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father ( this is Immanuel and Messiah...ie..Christ, with John 17) . And this is the promise that He made to us—eternal life."

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery part 10

I am taking a second look into the secrets and mysteries of GOD that were held close to Him as spoken of in scripture.......these were held until to day of the LORD. Or put another way until the appearance of the promised Immanuel who is Messiah. Immanuel came and grow in grace and wisdom throw out His early childhood years until the age of thirty when His cousin John the baptizer and He fulfilled what is known as righteousness. And the Messiah in Him was jump started and come into reality within Him, after the Holy Spirit fills Him as witnessed by John. All of this was spoken of in Genesis through to the end of Malachi or in the Law and Prophets. Those of that time could not see the things that laid ahead of them, as they were veiled because of their unredeemed status. This all changed the moment that Immanuel was washed (baptized) and received the Holy Spirit making Him from that moment on Spirit. This is are condition when we receive the revelation of Galatians 2:20 from within us as well. For it is no longer I but He that lives within me, this is GOD's plan and purpose of Will. Study again John 17.

Ignorance in reference to the Future,

Proverbs 27:1-2 "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips."

Ecclesiastes 3:19-22 and 6:12, 8:7 "For what happens to the children of man and what happens to the beasts is the same; as one dies, so dies the other. They all have the same breath, and man has no advantage over the beasts, for all is vanity. All go to one place. All are from the dust, and to dust all return.  Who knows whether the spirit of man goes upward and the spirit of the beast goes down into the earth? So I saw that there is nothing better than that a man should rejoice in his work, for that is his lot. Who can bring him to see what will be after him?"

Ecclesiastes 6:10-12 "Whatever has come to be has already been named, and it is known what man is, and that he is not able to dispute with one stronger than he. The more words, the more vanity, and what is the advantage to man? For who knows what is good for man while he lives the few days of his vain life, which he passes like a shadow? For who can tell man what will be after him under the sun?"

Ecclesiastes 8:5-9 "Whoever keeps a command will know no evil thing, and the wise heart will know the proper time and the just way. For there is a time and a way for everything, although man's trouble lies heavy on him. For he does not know what is to be, for who can tell him how it will be? No man has power to retain the spirit, or power over the day of death. There is no discharge from war, nor will wickedness deliver those who are given to it. All this I observed while applying my heart to all that is done under the sun, when man had power over man to his hurt."

Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 "Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all. For man does not know his time. Like fish that are taken in an evil net, and like birds that are caught in a snare, so the children of man are snared at an evil time, when it suddenly falls upon them."

Ecclesiastes 10:8-20 and 11:2 "He who digs a pit will fall into it, and a serpent will bite him who breaks through a wall. He who quarries stones is hurt by them, and he who splits logs is endangered by them. If the iron is blunt, and one does not sharpen the edge, he must use more strength, but wisdom helps one to succeed. If the serpent bites before it is charmed, there is no advantage to the charmer. The words of a wise man's mouth win him favor, but the lips of a fool consume him. The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness, and the end of his talk is evil madness. A fool multiplies words, though no man knows what is to be, and who can tell him what will be after him? The toil of a fool wearies him, for he does not know the way to the city. Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child, and your princes feast in the morning! Happy are you, O land, when your king is the son of the nobility, and your princes feast at the proper time, for strength, and not for drunkenness! Through sloth the roof sinks in, and through indolence the house leaks. Bread is made for laughter, and wine gladdens life, and money answers everything. Even in your thoughts, do not curse the king, nor in your bedroom curse the rich, for a bird of the air will carry your voice, or some winged creature tell the matter."

Ecclesiastes 11:1-5 "Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. Give a portion to seven, or even to eight, for you know not what disaster may happen on earth. If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves on the earth, and if a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it will lie. He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap. As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything."

Matthew 24:42-44 Jesus is speaking. "Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."

Acts 20:17-23 "Now from Miletus Paul sent to Ephesus and called the elders of the church to come to him. And when they came to him, he said to them: "You yourselves know how I lived among you the whole time from the first day that I set foot in Asia, serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials that happened to me through the plots of the Jews; how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house, testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and afflictions await me."

James 4:13-17 "Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit"— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that." As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin."
My next area of interest is, the secret things belong to GOD.

The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery part 9

Continuing now with the recap of the secrets and mysteries of GOD in the area of  mans ability to both hear and see what the Bible so clearly reveals. The area for todays study is Knowledge Withheld, I do not want to spill the beans here yet but I will say this, because through Adam man was separated from God. This separation has caused mans loss of sight and hearing of God and so much more. Now I will as has become my standard to make use of the ESV translation for the reasons shared earlier.

Knowledge Withheld from man:

Because Perilous,

Genesis 2:15-17 with Deuteronomy 29:29 "The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

Deuteronomy 29:29 "The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law."

Inability to Apprehend Truth,

John 13:1-11 "Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. During supper, when the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him, Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going back to God, rose from supper. He laid aside His outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around His waist. Then He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around Him. He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Lord, do you wash my feet?" Jesus answered him, "What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand." Peter said to Him, "You shall never wash my feet." Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no share with Me." Simon Peter said to Him, "Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!" Jesus said to him, "The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you." For He knew who was to betray Him; that was why He said, "Not all of you are clean."

Human Weakness  Necessitates,

John 16:12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take what is Mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is Mine; therefore I said that He will take what is Mine and declare it to you."

Earthy Limitations Fetter,

1Corinthians 13:8-13 "Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child (in Redemptions school). When I became a man, I gave up childish ways (in Salvation s school). For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."

Gradual Revelation, the Divine Plan,

Ephesians 3:1-13 "For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles— assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace that was given to me for you, how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly. When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God's grace, which was given me by the working of His power. To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things, so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was according to the eternal purpose that HE has realized in Christ Jesus our LORD, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him. So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory."

To give Opportunity for Faith,

1John 3:1-3 "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; for we know that when He appears we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who thus hopes in Him purifies himself as He is pure."

Have you ever considered why you do not now even your own future?
