The LORD our Passover

Indexing for May 21st

As away of bring the opening of the graves in the early morning hours of the first day of the week to there proper light I want to redo what I said in regards to Matthew 27 beginning at verse 51 in the portion behind the semi-colon. The semi-colon there acts as a time period break as it also does in other Old Testament passages such as in the Psalms and elsewhere.

This lack of understanding has for many years caused much bewilderment among Bible Theologians as I am sure it does the common people, such as elders and deacons. This is why we all must have the Spirit of Truth to open our understanding and clear our minds eye and ears to see and hear the Truth with proper perception. The Bible translators have caused may errors to spring up because of their insertion of passage breaks and numberings as the originals had no punctuation or sentences or paragraph breaks in their original languages.
Matthew 27:51-54 “Behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom (this took place when the Lord gave up His spirit and His body of flesh died); (this is the break, from here what flows is in the early morning hours between 6 PM sunset and 6 AM* sunrise of the first day of the week) and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus (Jesus' tomb), saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.”

*This an approximate time frame as it varies with each days movement and setting of the sun across the horizon which is govern by the moon. This is more accurately explained by Enoch in the book with his name. He is referred to in Genesis 4 and flowing through 5 and is spoken of in the synoptic gospels and is quoted from many places elsewhere, such as Hebrews and Jude.

With the improper use of passage breaks this sounds as if it happened while He was still hanging from the tree of the cross instead of the early morning hours of the first day of our week. With the adaption of the Julian Calendar these errors began because of the false perception created by Satan's dominion. When this is rightfully understood then what Paul reveals in Colossians 1 makes more since and opens to us understanding. Which my comment reveals where I have said this; This took place very early in the predawn hours as the Lord Jesus was leading the captives held in Abraham's bosom to the heavenliest place, His first ascension as described in Colossians 1:11-20, and the Redemption price now paid as laid out in the following verses 21-29 of Col. 1. This one passage is loaded with cross references from both the Old and the New Covenants.

I will take the time to take a closer look at these passages, because Paul by the Spirit of Truth laid the foundation upon our bed Rock, by way of showing the preeminence of Christ Jesus which is our own foundation of all revelation of Him, caused by our answer to His question as found in the text of Matthew 11:29, in the affirmative. This by the way, is not restricted to me alone but rather is available to all who become willing and seek as a young child His kingdom rule and righteousness.

Beginning at verse 9 of Colossians 1 where we read the following beginning with a prayer; “For this cause we also, since the day we heard, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His Will in all Wisdom and spiritual understanding; That you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the Knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, to all patience and long suffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks to the Father, Who has made us meet (fit) to be partakers of the inheritance of the Saints in Light (these are those who experienced His resurrection and ascension into the heavens, that fateful day of the LORD, this includes all those who were in Abraham's bosom and all those that He spoke of as a Master Prophet during His earthly ministry): Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: (now Paul here begins to reveal what John in his synoptic gospel reveals about the Lord Jesus in chapter 1 and indeed throughout this gospel) For by (through) Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

He is the head of the Body, the Church: Who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead (this is all mans original estate in Satan's dominion, and is why we must be born again); that in all things He might have the preeminence (He is our file leader and Family Head by example). For it pleased the Father that In Him should all fullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by (through)* Him to reconcile all things to Himself; by (through) Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

You, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has He reconciled In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable In His sight (for we with those early saints are seated together with them in the heavens even though our physical body is here on earth at this moment, we like the Lord Jesus have a dual citizenship, one in the heavens [purely spiritual with a pure heart and undefiled] and the other here on earth until we are called home to be with the LORD, what we must all realize is that with God all things are indeed possible): If you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of this gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached (proclaimed) to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister (in Paul's case as with those who become like as he was, a steward of God's secrets, equipped by God In the Spirit of Truth, reveal Christ in all things both old and New, the word minister means simply servant, one who receives persecution for pressing forward while under another's [the Master's] authority); Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His Body's sake, which is the Church: Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation (stewardship and economy) of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill* (to consummate, to bring realization of) the word of God; The mystery which had been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His Saints: To (In) whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ In you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect In Christ Jesus: Whereto I also labor, striving according to His working, which works in me mightily.”

*The word "by" means through and both mean to be counted IN Him as one unite because this was mans original state of being as seen in Genesis 1 and 2 from which this understanding can be properly obtained.

The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing for May 20th

Lastly this followed after, “And again another scripture said, They shall look on Him whom they pierced." with this listing behind it, Psalm 22:16-17, this passage was shared earlier and I will not repeat it here again, Zechariah 12:10, Revelation 1:7.
In Zechariah 12 beginning with verse 10 through13 and chapter 13 verse 1 through the end of verse 6 we find that it reveals this; “I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of Grace and of Supplications: and they shall look upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart; All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart. In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
It shall come to pass in that day, says the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land. And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say to him, You shall not live; for You speak lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesies. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he has prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive: But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. And one shall say to him, What are these wounds in Your hands? Then He shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of My friends.”

Then is the last few passages we have this said; “Awake, O sword, against My shepherd, and against the man that is My fellow, said the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn My hand upon the little ones. And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, says the LORD, two parts (2/3's) therein shall be cut off and die; but the third (1/3) shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on My name, and I will hear them: I will say, These are My people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.”

Here the LORD identifies His 1/3 remnant of the worlds people who have answered His call and held fast to their confession, and profession in truth and trust of His faithfulness to bring them through the fires of the refiners fire and the fullers soap. This by the way is what happens during our stay in Redemptions school that causes us to seek more of HIM, as in hungering and thirsting after His righteousness. Because to enter into His so great a Salvation we as a separate and dissimilar vessel (for opposites attract each other)  will be married in a fashion to Him wherein we become as He is, One. As the first man Adam was one with HIM in the beginning.

The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing for May 20th

Next in Numbers 9 we find this beginning at verse 9 through verse 14 we find this; “The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover to the LORD. The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. They shall leave none of it to the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it. But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and (rejects) forbears to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin. And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover to the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: you shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.”

Next is Psalm 22 beginning at verse 11 through verse 18 is found this; “Be not far from Me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. Many bulls have compassed Me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset Me round. They gaped upon Me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion. I am poured out like water, and all My bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of My bowels. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and My tongue cleaves to My jaws; and You have brought Me into the dust of death. For dogs have compassed Me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed Me: they pierced My hands and My feet. I may tell all My bones: they look and stare upon Me. They part My garments among them, and cast lots upon My vesture.”

Next while still here in Psalms turn to chapter 34 beginning at verse 18 through to verse 22 where it says this; “The LORD is near to them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He kept all His bones: not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. The LORD redeems (ransoms, severs to release) the soul of His servants (husbandman, bring to pass): and none of them that trust Him shall be desolate (guilty of offense).”

Next is Psalm 35 beginning at verse 9 through 16 where we find this; “My soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice In (with) His Salvation (saving health, welfare, freedom from trouble). All My bones shall say, LORD, who is like to You, which delivers the poor from him that is too strong for him, yes, the poor and the needy from him that spoils him? False witnesses did rise up; they laid to My charge things that I knew not. They rewarded Me evil for good to the spoiling of My soul. But as for Me, when they were sick, My clothing was sackcloth: I humbled My soul with fasting; and My prayer returned into My own bosom. I behaved Myself as though he had been My friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourns for his mother. But in My adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yes, the abjects gathered themselves together against Me, and I knew it not; they did tear Me, and ceased not: With hypocritical mockers in (their) feasts, they gnashed upon Me with their teeth.”

The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing for May 20th

Then we come to John 19 where we found this, “One of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.” And the following passages, Zechariah 13:1, 2-5; Revelation 1:5, 7:14.

In Zec. 13 beginning at verse 1 through the end of verse 6 we find this said; “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. And it shall come to pass in that day, says the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

Next is Revelation 1 and beginning at verse 4 through to the end of verse 8; “John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne; And from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful witness, the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To Him that loves us, and washed us from our sins In His own blood (keep in mind that any time this phrase or any like it are used they mean, In His death [or in His blood], burial, resurrection an ascension we are part of Him in this complete action as One unit with many parts), and has made us kings and priests to God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Behold, He coming with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, said the LORD, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

Next we have this; “These things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, a bone of Him shall not be broken.” with this listing behind it, Exodus 12:46, Numbers 9:12, Psalm 22:14, 34:20, 35:10.

In Exodus 12 beginning at verse 42 through verse 48; “It is a night to be much observed to the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof: But every man's servant that is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.* A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof. In one house shall it be eaten; you shall not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall you break a bone thereof. All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.

When a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.”

*In 1Corinthians 11 Paul states that we are to one have this revelation, that we are to do a self examination to see that we meat the true requirement for receiving the LORD'S Passover. If our heart be not circumcised then we are indeed unqualified to share the bread and drink of the Lord. This circumcision is not of mans doing but is of God's doing and is one of the mysteries revealed to Paul. For in chapter 10 he warns us that we cannot take the supper of devils and that of the LORD. This passage like many others go unheeded because of a false understanding of scripture in one of two ways, the first is the literal understanding and the second is a futuristic view, as a not yet thing. There may also be the veil of blindness caused by mans sin nature that keeps many from hearing and seeing the truth but in any case the primary cause is sin, in all three possibilities.

The LORD our Passover

Indexing for May 20th

On May 20th, I said this from Matthew 27 and verse 44; “The thieves also, which were crucified with Him, cast the same in his teeth." Then I listed these passages, Job 30:7-9, Psalm 35:15-16, Mark 15:32. This thief was unrepentant primarily because of fear and that not the Godly kind but rather in agreement with the parable or idiom of the sour grapes which causes our teeth to feel that they are set on edge.(+ look for this again below)

In Job 30 beginning with verse 1 through the end of verse 15 we find this said; “Now they that are younger than I have Me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of My flock. Yes, whereto might the strength of their hands profit Me, in whom old age was perished? For want and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste. Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat. They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;) To dwell in the clefts of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks. Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together. They are children of fools, yes, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.

And now am I their song, yes, I am their byword. They abhor Me, they flee far from Me, and spare not to spit in My face. Because He has loosed My cord, and afflicted Me, they have also let loose the bridle before Me. Upon My right hand rise the youth; they push away My feet, and they raise up against Me the ways of their destruction. They mar My path, they set forward My calamity, they have no helper. They came upon Me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon Me. Terrors are turned upon Me: they pursue My soul as the wind: and My welfare passes away as a cloud.”

Now look at Psalm 35 which is repeated from May 11 but here it is again, beginning at verse 9 through 16; “My soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in His Salvation (the destroyer watches is the meaning of this word here, it can also mean health, help, and welfare). All My bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto You, which delivers the poor from him that is too strong for him, yes, the poor and the needy from him that spoils him? False witnesses did rise up; they laid to My charge things that I knew not. They rewarded Me evil for good to the spoiling of My soul. But as for Me, when they were sick, My clothing was sackcloth: I humbled My soul with fasting; and My prayer returned into My own bosom. I behaved Myself as though he had been My friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourns for his mother. But in My adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yes, the abjects gathered themselves together against Me, and I knew it not; they did tear Me, and ceased not: With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon Me with their teeth.”(+)

Now for Mark chapter 15 beginning at verse 22 through to verse 32's end; “They brought Him to the place called Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull. And they gave Him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but He received it not. And when they had crucified Him, they parted His garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take. And it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. And the superscription of His accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

With Him they crucify two thieves; the one on His right hand, and the other on His left. That the scripture were fulfilled, which said, And He was numbered with the transgressors. And they that passed by railed on Him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, You that destroy the temple, and build it in three days, save Yourself, and come down from the cross. Likewise also the chief priests mockingly said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; Himself He cannot save. Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with Him reviled Him.”
Scripture does not reveal this but here is my thought about the thieves who were located one on His right hand signifying righteousness, the other on His left signifying unrepentant sin. To get a clearer understanding look again at Matthew chapter 5 at the first 8 "are's" of this teaching.

The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing for May 19th

Next turn to the letter sent to the Hebrews who had turned their backs against their Hebrew roots to become Sons of God through Christ's actions and revelation of Him. Turn to Hebrews chapter 2 and beginning at verse 5 through to the end of verse 18 where we find this statement; “For to the angels has He not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. But one in a certain place testified (Ps. 8:5-7), saying, What is man, that You are mindful of him? or the son of man (here meaning mans authority restored to him over nature), that You visited Him (Mat. 25:36)? You made Him a little lower than (for a short period of time inferior to, look at Is. 57:17) the angels; You crowned Him with glory and honor, and did set Him over the works of Your hands: You have put all things in subjection under His feet. For in that He put all in subjection under Him, He left nothing that is not put under Him. But now we see not yet all things put under Him. But we see Jesus, Who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that He by (through or in) the Grace of God should taste death for every man. (look at Psalm 2 closely)

For it became Him, for Whom are all things, and by Whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain (as file leader, the head of a column) of their salvation (to render safe perfected by preservation, as to be the present possession of the LORD) through sufferings. For both He that sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all of One: for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren, Saying, I will declare your name to My brethren, in the midst of the Church will I sing praise to you. And again, I will put My trust In Him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given Me.

For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; To deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily He took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the (promised) seed (Gen. 3:15) of Abraham (Gal. 3:29; and Adam as our second Adam, the secret thing of Gen. 3:15 and 12:3). Wherefore in all things it behooved Him to be made like to His brethren (mankind), that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered being tempted, He is able to succor them that are tempted.”

Our next passage is here in Hebrews in chapter 5 beginning at verse 1 through the end of verse 10, but I want to add verse 11 through 14 because of what it reveals about those who remain but babes.

For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; (here the writer changes from speaking of mere natural man to Christ) for that He Himself also is compassed with infirmity. And by reason hereof He ought, as for the people, so also for Himself, to offer for sins. And no man takes this honor to himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

So also Christ glorified not Himself to be made an High Priest; but He that said to Him, You are My Son, to day have I begotten You. As He said also in another place, You are a Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared; Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered; And being made perfect, He became the author of Eternal Salvation to all them that obey Him; Called of God an High Priest after the order of Melchizedek (a gentile priest of righteousness and of the Most High GOD, Gen. 14:18-19, Ps. 110:4).

Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of hearing. For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again those things which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that uses milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing for May 18th

Next while still in 1John turn to chapter 4 beginning at verse 1 through to the end of verse 6, we find this; “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know you the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (this is in His resurrected or what is otherwise known as the baptism of our heart, through which the dead flesh of our former calloused heart is removed by God's hand to restore His rightful state within our heart) is of God: And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of anti-Christ, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and (the earthy and worldly babes in redemption of) the world hears them. We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears not us. Hereby know we the Spirit of Truth, and the spirit of error.”

The last one on this list is in 1John 5 beginning at verse 18 we find this; “We know that the Son of God is come, and has given us understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are In Him that is Truth, even In His Son, Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and Eternal Life. As little children, keep yourselves from idols. Says the Amen.”

Indexing for May 19th

The first index list is found for John 19:1-7 where we find this; “the soldiers platted a crown of thorns,” which is spoken of in the following passages, Isaiah 49:6-9(7), 53:1-12(3), Hebrews 2:15-18, 5:7-10.

The first is Isaiah 49 and picking up the follow I will start at verse 5 and go though the end of verse 13 to keep continuity; “Now says the LORD, Who formed Me from the womb to be His servant, to bring Jacob again to Him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and My God shall be My strength. And He said, It is a light thing that You shouldest be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give You for a Light to the Gentiles, that You may be My salvation to the end of the earth. Thus said the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and His Holy One, to Him Whom man despise, to Him Whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and He shall choose You.

Thus said the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard You, and in a day of salvation have I helped You: and I will preserve You, and give You for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; That You may say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places (as a serpent lifts its head to strike or to swallow its prey is this the meaning of in all high places, both on the earth or under the earth). They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for He that has mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall He guide them. And I will make all My mountains a way (mans path or journey of life), and My highways (a causeway which is above ground level) shall be exalted. Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim. Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD has comforted His people, and will have mercy upon His afflicted.”

Next while still in Isaiah turn to the referenced passage in chapter 53 beginning at verse 1 through the end of 12; “Who has believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He had no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.

Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was (laid or pilled up) upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare His generation? for He was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of My people was He stricken. And He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death; because He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth.

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief: when You shall make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: by His knowledge shall My righteous servant justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities (the twisting action of a rope, to bear punishment, for fault and mischief, sin). Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He has poured out His soul unto death: and He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

The LORD our Passover

Indexing for May 18th

At the end of this post is found this statement of chapter 18 and verse 37; To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness to the Truth. Every one that is of the Truth hears My voice.” To this I shared these passages, John 7:17, 8:47, 10:26-27, 1John 3:14, 19, 4:6, 5:20.

In John 7 beginning at verse 16 we find this said; “Jesus answered them, My doctrine is not Mine, but His that sent Me. If any man will to do His Will, He shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of Myself.”

In John 8 beginning at verse 39 through the end of verse 47 we find this said; “They answered and said to Him, Abraham is our father. To this Jesus said to them, If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill Me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. But you do the deeds of your father. Then said they to Him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, God. To this Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love Me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? because you cannot hear My word. Because you are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no Truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the Truth, you believe Me not. Which of you convinces (convicts) Me of sin? And if I say the Truth, why do you not believe Me? He that is of God hears God's words: you therefore hear them not, because you are not of God.”

We must know this and keep it safe in our thought, “the eye only sees what the brain is prepared to receive.” And this is what the Leaders of Israel did not know and many of our day such as pastors, teachers and elders are in the same boat as they were. For the same reason that Jesus here spoke of.

In John 10 beginning at verse 22 through the end of verse 30 we find this statement; “It was at Jerusalem during the feast of the dedication (this was a feast inaugurated by the Maccabees's in memory of the cleansing of the temple, held on the 25th of Chislev or the middle of December), and it was winter. That Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the Jews round about Him, who said to Him, How long do You make us to doubt? If You be the (Messiah) Christ, tell us plainly. Jesus answered them, I told you, and you believed not: the works that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me. But you believe not, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give to them Eternal Life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them to Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are One.”

Then in 1John we find this in chapter 3 beginning at verse 13 through to the end of verse 24 where this is found; “Marvel not, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to Life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother abides (remains) in death (delusion). Whoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has Eternal Life abiding in him. Hereby perceive (understand, judge, discern) we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his bowels having no compassion for him, how dwells the love of God in him? Let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth (the fruit of the fig-tree parable which is goodness and truth, the fruit of the LORD within us). And hereby we know that we are of the Truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart condemns us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

This is His commandment, That we should believe His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment. And he that keeps His commandments dwells In Him, and He in him. And hereby we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit which He has given us.”
