In John 17 verse
we found this spoken by the Lord Jesus; “As
You have given Him power over all flesh*, that He should give Eternal
Life to as many as You have given Him.”
This
would to me seem to indicate that the gift of Eternal Life is
limited in scope to just certain people and not as the worlds
churches proclaim and preach that it is all inclusive. This also
would mean that there are an exclusive few who enter and become One
with both the Father of spirits and the LORD-GOD, Christ Jesus the
heir of all. This statement may seem to be far fetched. But when you
consider all of the warnings in scripture against falling back into
perdition or the manner of men and mans religion which God calls
idolatry and spiritual fornication then we can begin to understand
things from His point of view. I
God's eyes mans religion is treason against the true knowledge of
Christ. Which He hid and calls mysteries or secrets which we are to
dig out the revelation of for ourselves until we are approved of God.
This Paul relates to in Galatians 4, in the teaching about our
becoming a heir. With this said I want to turn our
attention to the referenced passages of, Psalm
2:7-9, 22:(27) 26-31, Daniel 7:(13) 12-14 as they relate to the
flesh*.
Psalm
2:6-8, 9-10 “ Yet have I set My King
(this is
Christ Jesus who came in the spirit
of king David as
John the Baptist came in the spirit
of Elijah) upon My holy hill of Zion
(this is spiritual Jerusalem which
the city is not made by mans hands and is eternal in the heavens).
I will declare the decree: the LORD has said to Me, You are
My
Son; this day have I begotten You. Ask of Me, and I shall give You
the heathen (a people or nations) for
Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for
Your possession.
You
shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces
(our state while in
Redemptions training school)
like a potter's vessel. Be wise
now therefore, O you kings: be instructed, you judges of the earth.”
King David it is said to has written this Psalm and from what we
see here he did it as if he over heard a conversation between El and
His Son before the foundation of the world was laid. This particular
Psalm is also a timetable for God's dealings with one Israel as a
nation and a people and then the nations and peoples of the heathen
world. In this passage both are lumped into one category as a potters
vessel that needs reworking before it reaches the kiln for further
purification and proofing.
Psalm 22:22-24,
25-31 “I will declare Your name to My brethren: in the midst of the
congregation will I praise you. You that fear
the LORD, praise Him; all you the seed of Jacob, glorify Him; and
fear Him, all you the seed of Israel. For He has not despised nor
abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has He hid His face
from him; but when he cried to Him, He heard.
My
praise shall
be
of you in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that
fear Him. The
meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek
Him: your heart shall live forever. All the ends of the world shall
remember and turn to the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations
shall worship before Him. For the kingdom is
the LORD'S: and He is
the governor among the nations. All they
that be
fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the
dust shall bow before Him: and none can keep alive his own soul. A
seed (as in a remnant) shall serve Him; it shall be accounted to the
Lord for a generation. They shall come, and shall declare His
righteousness to a people that shall be born, that He has done this.”
