In
2John 7-11 “For many deceivers are entered the world, who
confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (this has a double meaning and many do not acknowledge the first let alone the second, because these things all remain and secret or mystery to them). This is a
deceiver and an antichrist. Look to
yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but
that we receive a full reward. Whoever
transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, have not God.
He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has both the Father and
the Son. If there come anyone to you,
and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into (your)
house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddes him God speed is
partaker of his evil deeds.”
I
am deeply saddened to say that our churches are not as they seem
because of the false teaching which pushes us toward another gospel
of the future glories in His presense and of riches and well being
today. Because the word “nigh” as used in the synoptic gospels
equates to our word “near,” at hand, within sight and is
available for our receiving NOW. Jesus said to ask! Ask, without
doubt and questioning as in the rebellion (Genesis 3:1-7a). But sadly
many just "ask" without expectancy, as little child always ask with
great expectancy and are not often let down but usually receives all
and more then asked for, because they ask with trust. But the false
gospel does not build upon this fact, it moves all in another
direction away from God's Truth in Christ, which is Christ in you, or the reentry of GOD within us.
Did
Jesus ever speak of “antichrist”
?
No, but He did however speak of “false christs” as seen in
Matthew 24:24, where Jesus is speaking of the perilous times to come
and this is repeated in Mark 13:22 where He is speaking of things to
come to this wise. Beginnin at verse 15 of Matthew 24, through 28,
with emphasis on verse 24, and verses 29-31 is where we find this;
“When
you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by
Daniel (in 9:27, 12:11) the prophet, stand in the holy place,
(whoever reads, let him understand:) Then
let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains (this
day has taken place as spoken of by
Daniel in 9:27, 11:31-35, 12:11-13 these
all speak of the
“hitherto,” this took place in 68-70AD):
Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out
of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to
take his clothes. And woe to them that are with child, and to them
that give suck in those days! But pray that your flight be not in the
winter, neither on the Sabbath day: For
then shall be great tribulation,
such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no,
nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there
should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall
be shortened. Then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is
Christ, or there; believe it
not. For
there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show
great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they
shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say to you,
Behold, He is in the desert; go not forth: behold, He
is
in the secret chambers; believe it
not. For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to
the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wherever
the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Immediately
after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and
the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from
heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall
appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the
tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming
in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send
His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the
other.”
