The
Man of Sin
continued, Son of Perdition, the Wicked or antiChrists.
2Thessalonians
2:3-12
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that
day shall not come,
except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above
all that is called (known of)
God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of
God (with the first advent of
Christ Jesus and His retrun to heaven and return again in the person of
the Holy Spirit, this temple became the body of any true believer,
this is attested to in
1Corinthians 3:16-17, 6:19, 9:13 and 2Corinthians 5:14-15, 6:16), showing
himself that he is God. Remember, that, when I was yet with you, I
told you these things? And now you know what withholds that he might
be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity does already
work: only he who now lets will
let,
until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be
revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth,
and shall destroy with the brightness of His (in
His Glorified physical appearance is)
coming: Even him,
whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs
and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in
them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth,
that they might be saved. For this cause God shall send them strong
delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be
damned who believe not the truth, but have pleasure in
unrighteousness.”
In verse 3 is
where we find both “the man of sin” and "the son of perdition" spoken of which states the
following: “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that
day shall not come,
except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition;” The phrase, “that
day shall not come”
is an addition placed here by the translater or the publisher of this
version of the Bible used. This passage with this phrase removed
reads as follows: “Let
no man deceive you by any means: for except there come a falling away
first, and that man of sin be revealed, who is the son of perdition;”
This passage is loaded with meanings first the “man of sin” to be
revealed, this is more fully addressed in verses 8-10, not yet
covered. So I'll turn to Daniel to find out more about this “man
of sin”
in 7:25 where Daniel states this about him: “he shall speak great
words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the
Most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be
given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time
(I
might point out that much of this has taken place with Empirer
Constantine after he turned and proclaimed himself to be a
“Christain” and joined the Roman Catholic church. Where these
things were indeed changed by him and them. But let it be said that
this does not make it, this church alone, to be anymore evil then the
next. Because these are all tied to the traditions of Israel's own
demise as a nation.
This
demise is the separation of God from them because they by freewill
choice broke His covernant with them. They as a nation turned their backside towards God in Jesus.
These
are pototypical of another even more dangerous thing as witnessed to
in Revelation where the rejection of Christ is also revealed.).”
This particular passage has allot of related passaged tied to it
which I will not quote or cover leave it to say that most are found
in Daniel, Revelation and Thessalonians and Timothy. To me this
passage speaks of one religion of man above all others. But I will
leave that to you to come up with which one it is on your own. I must
say that all of mans religions are all equally dangerous and need to
be denied, in not allowing them to claim position of our souls.
Again
2Thessalonians
2:3,
“Let no man deceive
you by any means: except
there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the
son of perdition;” Again speaking of the deception
which deceives
as it is tied to the traditions
of man
and what we have as customs, rites, rituals, holidays, and the such.
These are all designed to mock God and walk upon the cross, and the
blood and water of Jesus spilled for all onto Redemption. This is the
foundation meant to Redeem all the world. The same foundation hidden
throughout scripture, and sometimes called “the
foundation of the world,”
look at Matthew 25:34, Acts 15:18, Ephesians 1:4-6 and 1Peter
1:19-20, Revelation 13:8 also speak of.
