The Truth that sets all of Humanity Free part 10c

Today's post will take us to another section of the 10b post, which I did not cover do to length of the post. To accomplish this I will redo the passages of my target of interest found in 1John 5 verses 1-4 and 5-12. An again look for the deca language, hint it is faith language.

1John 5:1-5, 6-12 (ASV) "Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of GOD: and whosoever loves Him that is begotten loves him also that is begotten of Him. Hereby we know that we love the children of GOD, when we love GOD and do His commandments (these are restricted to the OT covenant because of the effects of the Cross). For this is the love of GOD, that we keep His commandments (these given through the Word): and His commandments (Mat. 11:28-30, 16:24, Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23, Rom. 7:12, 22, Heb. 8:10) are not grievous. For whatsoever is begotten of GOD overcomes the world: and this is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

And who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes Jesus is the Son of GOD?

Testimony Concerning the Son of God

This is He (either humanity or Christ Jesus fit here) that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; Not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is the Truth. For there are three who bear witness (this found in Genesis 1:1 in the H430, H433 and H410 with the image and likeness of 1:26-28, this being spirit), the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and the three agree in One (Elohiym=GOD). If we receive the witness of men, the witness of GOD is greater: for the witness of GOD is this, that He has borne (this in Genesis 1:26-28's image and likeness which is life in the blood of Lev. 17:11; Mat. 26:24, Mark 14:24, which is repeated in Hebrews 9:22, 13:12; 7:13 and 13:10) witness concerning His Son. He that believes the Son of GOD has this witness in himself: he that believes not God has made GOD a liar; Because he has not believed in the witness that GOD has borne concerning His Son. And the witness is this, that GOD gave to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that has the Son has this life (Rom. 8:9-10*); He that has not the Son of GOD has not the life."

*Now for the Roman's 8 passages of record: Rom 8:5-11 (ASV) "For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; For they that are after the Spirit mind the things of the Spirit (Rom. 12:1-3*). For the mind of the flesh is death; But the mind of the Spirit is life and peace: because the mind of the flesh is enmity against GOD (why? because of the effects of Gen. 3 wherein the consciousness of man's identity was set aside by the actions of Adam therein described); For it is not subject to the law (love and faith) of GOD, neither indeed can it be: and they that are in the flesh cannot please GOD. For we are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of GOD dwells in you. For if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; For the spirit is life because of righteousness ( our original redeemed identity restored to it's innocence). But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through His Spirit that dwells in you."

*Now for the Romans 12:1-2, 3 (ASV) "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of GOD, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to GOD, which is your spiritual service. And be not fashioned according to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Heb. 13:20-21 (KJV) "Now the GOD of Peace, Who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, even our LORD Jesus, make you perfect in every good thing to do His Will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; To Whom be the glory for ever and ever. The Amen.")

Gifts of Grace

For I say, through the Grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; But so to think as to think soberly, according as GOD has dealt to each man a measure of faith."

Now I have provided a few referenced passages [*] there are others that I have not done so. I'll leave them to you for researching. To this I am doing something not done here in quite sometime now. I will add another thought of interest share by Paul in his Philippians letter chapter 3 and verse 10 but as usual I will start with say verse 8 and then carry it forward: Philippians (ASV) 3:8  "Truly truly, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of "the knowledge of Christ Jesus" my LORD: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, "that I may gain Christ," and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from GOD by faith: that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, becoming conformed to His death; If by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead." It seems that Paul's consuming passion was "that he may know Him." Paul here points us to the quest in the knowledge of GOD and three no make that four, different areas in which that knowledge can be allowed to grow (resurrection power, a fellowship within Christ, and conformity to His Life and His death). I shall allow you to think awhile on this one.
