Continuing with the saga of The Secret of GOD, part 6.06.1 the worldly mind verses the renewed mind.

I am deviating from my norm to share this from John18:28-32, as written in the "Mirror Study Bible" by Francois du Toit, 2012

John 18:28-32 (KJV) "Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover. Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man? They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee. Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death: That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die."
John 18:28-32 (ESV) "Then they led Jesus from the house of Caiaphas to the governor's headquarters. It was early morning. They themselves did not enter the governor's headquarters, so that they would not be defiled, but could eat the Passover. So Pilate went outside to them and said, "What accusation do you bring against this man?" They answered him, "If this man were not doing evil, we would not have delivered him over to you." Pilate said to them, "Take him yourselves and judge him by your own law." The Jews said to him, "It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death." This was to fulfill the word that Jesus had spoken to show by what kind of death he was going to die."

John 18:28-32 (Mirror Study Bible, the Romance of the Ages) "then they led Jesus from Caiaphas into the praetorium, the Roman governor's judgment hall - it was still early in the day so the Jews didn't go into the court room for fear of contracting some impurity, which would have obliged them to separate themselves from eating the Passover. Then Pilate went outside to face them and asked, What accusation do you bring against this man?" They answered, "If he wasn't an evildoer we wouldn't have wasted your time with this court case in the first place." Then Pilate said, "Take him and judge him according to your law." They said, "Our law does not allow a death sentence." This was also to confirm what Jesus said about his manner of death. ~"The Mirror"

(I would be lifted up - crucifixion was not a Jewish punishment - 1John 3:5 We have witnessed with our own eyes how, in the unveiling of the prophetic word, when he was lifted up upon the cross as the Lamb of GOD, he lifted up our sins and broke its dominion and rule over us! (John 1:29 "Behold, the Lamb of GOD, who takes away {airo} the sin of the world! The word airo means to lift up. John 3:13 No ane can fully engage in heaven's perspective, unless one's heavenly origin is realized! The Son of man declares humanity's co-genesis from above! John 3:14 (This is my mission: See the prophetic relevance - this is how the veil will be removed!) Remember how Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness even so the Son of man will be lifted up! (John 12:31-33 "'Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the ruler of this world be cast out; and I, when I am lifted up from the earth will draw all judgment unto me.'" He said this to show by what death he was to die." John 3:13 and 14 are most significant since they point to the very essence of the mission of Jesus - the co-begotteness of the human race now our co-crucifixion and co-resurrection on the third day into newness of life! 1Peter 1:3) John 3:15 In the same prophetic pattern, I will be lifted up for all to see and be equally persuaded in the echo of the life of the ages now redeemed within them!) ~"The Mirror"
