The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in James, Peter 1&2 and John 1-3; from a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

An introduction to our living by grace coupled with GOD'S Faith. As known through Abraham and Isaac. Again making use of the Mirror Study Bible.

"‘Grace’ has been twisted into a distorted band-aid remedy by the ideas of man. Jesus came revealing the grace and truth (reality) of heaven; not some fire insurance policy from hell with a life long re-payment plan. We were taught that ‘grace’ was given to us degenerate scumbags who were deserving only of eternal torment in God’s eyes. Grace was taught to us as a ‘lens’ by which God could finally stand to have us in his presence ONLY because he was now looking THROUGH Jesus to see us. I known many who have post traumatic grace disorder after how it’s been distortedly ‘applied’ to us like a bandage covering which only further verifies our ‘total depravity’ in the eyes of a distant, disgruntled record keeping deity.
Grace is an empowerment that is given not in spite of us- but comes in the authentic blueprint of all we were equipped with and expressed through Origin-ally. Grace is what Jesus lived out of when the whole world turned against him. Because he knew nothing could separate him from his 'Source'... no one could even be seen as a threat or enemy in his eyes.
Grace isn’t reactive; It doesn’t see how others act first and then re-act accordingly. Grace responds from what it knows about itself (always), and never bases its actions in a reciprocal way. True grace has absolutely nothing to do with us gaining a relationship or intimacy with heaven; but is heaven IN us enabling US to respond to others the same way heaven first responded to us... and that is always with favor, full acceptance, and joy.
We love... because we were first loved. That love didn’t come by us first having to ‘believe’ or ‘confession,’ of something to get it. It came (in all its glory) with the Father’s first thought of all the unique ways he could express himself and every good and perfect gift heaven has... through YOU." Written by Dave Carringer.

James the brother of Jesus:

Humanity lost and recovered, restored identity.

From the first and the last verse of James one, it appears that James sets his teaching up against the sense of a lost identity: the twelve scattered tribes, and the widows and orphans.
To lose your land of heritage or your immediate family would be the greatest and most challenging test or temptation anyone can face: "to forget what manner of person you are." (James 1:24, Deuteronomy 32:18)

As the flesh-and-blood brother of Jesus, there was a time when neither he nor any of his family believed in Jesus. (John 7:5) It was only after the resurrection when Jesus appeared to him that the truth dawned in him, that his brother Jesus was indeed the one who all the rumors and prophetic pointers throughout time said he was! Jesus is GOD unveiled in humanity's flesh, the incarnate Word, who redeemed humanity's lost identity by his death and resurrection! James' eyes were opened to this fact, that neither Jesus nor he began in Mary's womb! 1Corinthians 15:7.

Man began in GOD! We are not merely the desire of a parent, we are the desire of GOD! Humanity shares a common origin, the boulomai, the affectionate desire and deliberate resolve of GOD, the Father of spirits and the Father of lights with whom there is no distortion or hidden agenda. The unveiling of humanity's redemption also reveals our true genesis; we are GOD'S personal invention. We are anouthen, from above. We are perfect and complete and lacking in nothing. GOD'S Sabbath is the celebration of our perfection, both by design and redemption. "Evert good and perfect gift comes from above, (anouthen) from the Father of lights with whom there is no variableness and no shadow due to change, he brought us forth by the Word of truth."

Next we shall, the LORD willing, look at "Born from Above."

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 13:20; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We have reached the end of our Hebrews tour, now all that remains is its close or its benediction, so without more to say, a do.

Hebrews 13:20-21, 22-24, 25 "Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words. Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you. Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
Grace be with you all. Amen." (KJV)

Hebrews 13:20-21, 22-24, 25 "Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
I appeal to you, brothers, bear with my word of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly. You should know that our brother Timothy has been released, with whom I shall see you if he comes soon. Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those who come from Italy send you greetings.
Grace be with all of you." (ESV)

Hebrews 13:20-21, 22-24, 25 "This is my prayer for you: that the GOD who made peace with the human race through the eternal blood of the Testament, who raised us in Jesus Christ from the dead as the great and Supreme Shepherd of the souls of humanity, will thoroughly equip you in the most distinguished way possible, to give expression to his renewed design in you according to his delight realized in Jesus Christ, who is the blueprint of the ages. Jesus is the accurate expression of GOD'S Glory. Our lives confirm and echo the living Amen!
My Friends, I written to you briefly, [1]reminding you to of your original identity in order to [2]increase the valume of its resonance in your hearts. (The word, [2, G430 from G303 and G2192] anechomai, means to hold oneself up against, from (G303) ana, often times means by repetition in order to increase intensity, and (G2192) echo, to hold, embrace or echo, resonate. The word, [1, G3874 paraklēsis, means imploration, from G3870 from G3844 and G2564] parakaleo, means to call near, is from (G3844) para, originating from a sphere of influence, and (G2564) kaleo, to call by name, to surname. [see the notes on Ekklesia , in Hebrews 12:23]) Brother Timothy has already been released from prison; as soon as he arrives we will visit you together. Greet all your leaaders and the Saints; the Italian believers salute you!
Grace is our embrace! YES!" (The Mirror, with editing)

This brings to a close the sharing from the Mirror Study Bible and its opened revelation in modern language, for all to know and understand the secret things of GOD as well as the mystery spoken of by the Lord Jesus in spiritual language.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 13:7; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

In our every day, practical way of living there are many obstacles that we have to face such as where to live, in what kind of house or apartment, what to eat, what to wear, and many more. Well our writer as we have scene so many times before has included these things once again as stated in the last post and beginning of this chapter. But the over all disclosure is this; Stay away from the worlds many religious systems and form (Egypt's) for they can do great harm to what GOD so loving desires and designed humanity for, fellowship, companionship and very close identity of Oneness, like that of a husband and wife.

Hebrews 13:7-16, 17, 18-19 "Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner." (KJV)

Hebrews 13:7-16, 17, 18-19 "Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them. We have an altar from which those who serve the tent have no right to eat. For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things. I urge you the more earnestly to do this in order that I may be restored to you the sooner." (ESV)

Hebrews 13:7-16, 17, 18-19 "Be mindful of those who guide you in the revelation of GOD'S word; follow their faith, consider the conclusion of their lives. (Do not follow a counterfeit! This world be someone who fakes faith while actually living the Law.) Take your lead from the man Jesus. He is our reference to the most complete life. In him (incarnation dwelt) yesterday is confirmed today and today mirrors tomorrow. What GOD spoke to us in Christ is as relevant now as it was in the prophetic past and will always be in the eternal future, of which we are in now! (Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever; there is a history to our salvation that carries more authority and relevance than anything that ever happened in our own past, or anything present (our being birthed from above) in time or still to happen in the future. Imagine the enormity of eternity in his sameness before time was; and we were there in him (Genesis 1) all along! Look at Romans 8:34, What further ground can there possibly be to condemn humanity? In his death he faced our judgment; in his resurrection he declared our total innocence; the implications cannot be undone! He now occupies the highest seat of authority as the executive of our redemption in the Throne room of GOD. Look also at Romans 8:1, 4:25. The heavens declare his glory and majesty, night to night exhibits the giant solar testimony that is mathematically precise, revealing that GOD knew before time became, was the exact moment he would enter our history as a man, and the exact moment the Messiah would expire on the cross and be raised from among the already dead! And bring them with him, as recorded in Matthew 27:51-54 and further witnessed to by Paul in 1Corinthians 15:4-8, 20, Colossians 1:15-23.) Do not be swayed by distracting speculations. Any influence foreign to what grace communicates, even if it seems very entertaining and carries the "Christian" label, is to be shunned. Feat on grace; do not dilute your diet with legalism. There is no nourishment left in the Law. What's the use of being busy but not blessed? (Legalism includes any form of self-sacrifice or self effort with the illusion of gaining further favor from GOD or improving your spiritual standing before GOD.) For us there is only one altar and one sacrifice; we can never again confuse him with the rituals of the old redundant system. It seems that some would like to eat meat of their own sacrifices and at the same time indulge in the benefit of grace. This is not possible. (It is like trying to go in opposite directions at the same time.) When it comes to the sin offering, the carcasses of the slain animals were burned outside the camp, city walls. There are two opposing systems; you cannot associate with Christ for your convenience while still hanging on to your Jewish sentiment. If you're going to take your stand for Jesus, go all the way. Break your ties with the old shadow-system. Go outside the destroyed Jerusalem city-system. Be prepared to share his shame when your fellow Jews mock your commitment to Jesus. We are not finding our identity or security in the walled city of popular legalistic religious opinion. Our interest is captured by a different kind of city, much closer to us than the visible one. Praise replaces sacrifice; the harvest we bring is the tribute of our lips acknowledging his Name. (His Name represents the authority of our identity and redeemed innocence, our union of oneness.) GOD delights in good deeds. These deeds are like beautiful poetry giving a voice to our fellowship. (These are inspired by our innocence; rather than offered as guilt-driven sacrifices.)
Trust your guides (in this grace revelation way of life) and yield to their instruction. (Even though it seems different to the Levitical Law, the old system that religion is acquainted with and bond by, as in holding one back.) They are genuinely alert to our well-being. (Just as with Shepherds guarding their sheep, we are to be their total concern.) They have taken official accountability for us. (They represent to us all that grace reveals rather than what the Levitical Law requires.) It is to our advantage to embrace their care with joy; this makes their work a pleasure and not a burden.
Worship prayerfully with us; we believe that our joint seeing inspires a beautiful life. Pray also that I might be able to re-join you speedily; I can hardly wait!" (The Mirror, with editing)

Our next visit bring Hebrews to a close much in the same fashion of Paul's writing way. Now may the LORD bring our understand to light.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 13:1; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

The last chapter like so many of Paul's Epistles ends with principles for practical faith life in ways of living such a life. This chapter is no different, its titles are many, depending of the translators religious back ground. All based on their particular doctrines of religious belief system, of the publishers team of advisers and co-authors. The Mirror is limits to it author so here goes, "Some hints on practical kingdom living, including family, friends, fewllowship, marriage, money and ministry:"

Hebrews 13:1-6 "Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said (in Deuteronomy 31:6 and Joshua 1:5), "'I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.'" So that we may boldly say (from Psalm 118:6), "The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me."" (KJV)

Hebrews 13:1-6 "Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said (in Deuteronomy 31:6 and Joshua 1:5), "'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'" So we can confidently say (from Psalm 118:6), "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"" (ESV)

Hebrews 13:1-6 "Treasure family bonds and friendships. Family fondness remains the essence of this kingdom. (Relationship is long-term in every sense of the word.) Treat strangers with equal affection; they could be a Messenger of GOD in disguise! Identify with those who are in prison or suffering abuse for their faith as if you were the one afflicted. Honor the sanctity of marriage as the exclusive place of intimacy. GOD does not approve of casual or illicit sexual behavior. Don't give money a prominent place in your thoughts; realize that what you already have is priceless! He has said that he will never quit on you or abandon you! (Joshua 1:5) That is reason enough for total and continual contentment! What he said concerning us gives our confession the edge; we boldly echo Scripture, "The LORD is for me, I cannot be afraid of anything that anyone could possibly do to harm me." (Psalm 118:6) (The Mirror, with editing)

Until our next visit may the LORD grant us all strength to live his resurrected and ascension life, to its fullest.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 12:25; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are looking at the unshakable spiritual kingdom of GOD within the redeemed soul of humanity and not just a small band of Jewish people, of a few, nor is this kingdom to come in some future cataclysmic event, though our departure maybe such an event. Such an event has come as recorded in Acts 2 with the day of restoration of humanity's true identity of innocence spirit life. The kingdom with its deep need to bring light and renewed life to those around us, increases our awareness of just how dark and evil life is in those not so attached to GOD, as we are, by his presence of faith within.

Hebrews 12:25-29 "See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying (in Exodus 19:18, Judges 5:4-5, and Haggai 2:6-7, 22), "'Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.'" And this word, "'Yet once more,'" signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things (spiritual realities) which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a (spiritual) kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire." (KJV)

Hebrews 12:25-29 "See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven. At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised (in Exodus 19:18, Judges 5:4-5, and Haggai 2:6-7, 22), "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens." This phrase, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things (spiritual realities) that cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a (spiritual) kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire." (ESV)

Hebrews 12:25-29 "If Jesus is the crescendo of GOD'S final message to humanity, you cannot afford to politely excuse yourself from this conversation. Consider the prominent place that Moses played in the history of Israel: if you think that Moses or any of the Prophets who spoke with authority on earth deserve honor, how much more should this word that GOD deposits within us declared through us from heaven concerning our sonship, and our redeemed innocence be revealed in the Messiah within us himself the incarnate word in us, deserve our undivided attention! When he introduced the prophetic shadow of what was to come (the Law system), his voice visibly shook the earth. (in Exodus 19:18) But now the Messiah has come (he is the desire of the nations; he is what heaven and earth were waiting for [Haggai 2:6-7]) The voice of GOD (articulated in Christ's birth, life, ministry, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension to humanity's original station of Genesis 1:26-27) has rocked not only the systems on the earth, but also every unseen principle in the heavens (this is seen in the language used in the Pauline Epistles), to their very foundations! In the words of the Prophets, "Yet once more will I shake every unstable system of man's efforts to rule himself." GOD clearly indicated his plan to remove the old and replace it with the new. The second shaking supersedes any significance of the first shaking. Then it was a physical quaking of the earth; now the very foundations of every man-made system was shaken to the core while the heavens were impacted by the announcement of his permanent rule on earth as it is mirrored in heaven. We are fully associated in this immovable Kingdom; an authority that cannot be challenged or contradicted. Our participation echoes grace (and not law-inspired obedience of self works, a delaying tactic of darkness and evilness of religion, the mystical one that restrains, 2Thessalonians 2:7) as we [1]accommodate ourselves to GOD'S delight, yielding in awe to his firm embrace. (The word, [1, G2102 from G2101 from G2095 and G701 from G700] euatesto, means well pleasing, to accommodate yourself to GOD'S delight.) His zeal for us burns like fire. (Deuteronomy 4:24) (The Mirror, with editing)

May our GOD and LORD increase our understanding of his revelation.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 12:18; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are about to enter into a contrast between Sinai and Zion or put another way, into a sound and stable kingdom verses that of chaos and earthly religious laws of does and do nots. Do not loose sight of this truth, our writer is addressing the Jews and their failed history under the Levitical Law system as he has done all throughout this letter.

Hebrews 12:18-24 "For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: (For they could not endure that which was commanded (in Exodus 19:12-13), "And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned," or thrust through with a dart: and so terrible was the sight, that Moses said (in Deuteronomy 9:19), "I exceedingly fear and quake:") But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel." (KJV)

Hebrews 12:18-24 "For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest and the sound of a trumpet and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that no further messages be spoken to them. For they could not endure the order that was given (in Exodus 19:12-13), "If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned." Indeed, so terrifying was the sight that Moses said (in Deuteronomy 9:19), "I tremble with fear." But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel." (ESV)

Hebrews 12:18-24 "We are not talking of a visible and tangible mountain here, one spectacularly ablaze in a setting of dark blackness and tempestuous winds. (Witness the vivid contrast between the giving of the ceremonial Law and the unfolding of grace; the exclusiveness of the one and the all inclusive imbracement of the other. The dramatic encounter of Moses on the mountain is by far exceeded by the mountaintop experience to which we are now welcomed and elevated through Christ! Humanity is now fully represented and co-seated together with Christ in heavenly places! [Ephesians 2:5-6, Hosea 6:2, 2Timothy 1:7]) Shrill trumpet sounds and a thunderous voice uttering human language. This filled the people with such terror that they begged for silence! Beast abd human alike felt threatened and excluded from that terrible mountain! Even Moses, the representative of the people, was extremely terrified. He was shivering and shaking. Who could approach GOD and live? How impossible it seemed to find favor with such a 'terrifying' GOD! By contrast, we have been summoned and welcomed to an invisible mount Zion; the city of peace (heavenly Jerusalem adorned as a blushing bride awaiting her guests.), the residence of the living GOD, the festive assembly of an innumerable Angelic host! We are participating in a mass joint-celebration of heavenly and earthly beings; the [1]Ekklesia-church of the firstborn mirror-inscribed in the heavenlies. (Our original identity (of Genesis 1:26-27, 2:1-3), [1, G1577 from a compound of G1537 and a derivative of G2564 ] Ekklesia, a calling out, is from (G1537) ek, a preposition that always denotes origin, and (G2564) kaleo, which means to identify by name, to surname, is endorsed by Jesus, patterned in him, the first born from the dead.) Jesus is the spokesmen and arbitrator of the New Testament order. His blood signature sanctions humanity's innocence, as in its origin. This is a completely new language that communicates better things, in that it is the very substance of what was spoken in the shadow-type message of the blood sacrifice that Abel brought. (Abel's faith was a prophetic introduction to the sacrificial shadow system of the Old Covenant. Jesus is the substance of things hoped for! Hebrews 11:4, It was faith that made the difference between the sacrifices of Abel and Cain, and confirmed Abel's righteousness. GOD bore witness to righteousness as a gift rather than a reward! Even though he was murdered, his faith still has a most relevant prophetic voice.) (The Mirror, with editing)

Until our next visit may the LORD richly bless both you and yours in the true light of the knowledge of Him.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 12:12; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are currently looking into the "LORD'S Chastening or to put it another way, the Fathers Discipline" which in these days of corruption of political incorrection, we might say harshness. For true Agape to be exact must also be measured out as discipline for without discipline there is no guidance of a child. And a child without guidance bring disgrace to both themselves and the parents who brought the child up in a way-ward home life. These things every school age child knows of full well because it is they who break all the rules leveled upon them, by a loving parents, that are meant only to be a guide of safe boundaries and sign posts when learned of a wrong direction taken. As the flesh is a strongman full of unruliness and chaos, with valiance, when allowed its way; Because its foster parent is such a spirit of evil intentions, destruction, bitterness and hatred of humanity.

Hebrews 12:12-13, 14-17 "Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears." (KJV)

Hebrews 12:12-13, 14-17 "Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.
Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no "root of bitterness" springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled; That no one is sexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal. For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears." (ESV)

Hebrews 12:12-13, 14-17 "Shake off your weariness, loose your limbs, catch your breath! (Get back into faith-mode, quit the old strongman of your flesh-mode.) Get rid of all obstacles that could possibly cause you to stumble and sprain an ankle! Don't let a recurrent injury force you out of the race. [1]Recover and carry on running. Don't allow old legalistic mind-set (the weakness of our flesh in which the strongman was established to rule yet again. Isaiah 40:28-31,  the [1, H6960] kawa principle, [1]intertwining with GOD'S thoughts concerning you immediately causes you to escape the weariness of the old DIY times and mount up with wings like an eagle, to run and not be weary, to walk and not faint! Hebrew kawa, is to be intertwined with GOD.)
Pursue peace with all people; true friendship can only be enjoyed in an environment of total forgiveness and innocence. This makes GOD visible in our lives. We must understand that this is a grace-race and not a Law-race. While we're in compete- and compare-mode we create the opportunity for resentment to flourish and to poison many in the process. (WE are all equally included in the same victory in Christ!) A performance-driven mind-set triggers the old Law system into action and [1]distorts the picture: suddenly the fleeting moment of pleasure seems more attractive than our true portion. This is exactly what happened to Esau, when he traded his birthright for a morsel of meat. (Sin is a distorted picture; the word, [1, G266 from G264 from G1 and G3313] hamartia , is often translated as sin, is made up of two words (G1) ha, meaning without, and (G3313) meros, meaning form, or allotted portion.) Esau's regret could not change Isaac's mind. GOD'S mind is made up about our salvation. (We are saved by faith in his finished work and not by our own works; his system of faith cannot be challenged or replaced by another law system. Sincerity does not influence GOD; his faith in us does! This faith is the incarnate Christ restored, awaken within us, his image and likeness.) (The Mirror, with editing)

Until our next visit may the LORD reveal all that we have acquired of him actively at work within us.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 12:1; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Here we are on new grounds in Hebrews 12 and I am not quite sure what to title this chapter as my study Bibles all have their own titles. I guess this may sum them all up; "An exhortation to faith, patience, and godliness and then the LORD'S chastening brings a sound and stable kingdom," might do.

Hebrews 12:1-3, 4-11 "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider[1] him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. And you have forgotten the exhortation[1] which speaketh unto you as unto children (in Job 5:17, Psalm 3:11-12, 119:75; Revelation 3:19), "'My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth[1], and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.'" If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby." (KJV)

Heb 12:1-3, 4-11 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider[1] him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.
In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And have you forgotten the exhortation[1] that addresses you as sons (in Job 5:17, Psalm 3:11-12, 119:75; Revelation 3:19)? "'My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises[1] every son whom he receives.'" It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." (ESV)

Hebrews 12:1-3, 4-11 "So now the stage is set for us: all these faith-heroes cheer us on, as it were, like a great multitude of spectators in the amphitheater (of life while we remain on earth). This is our moment. As with any athlete who is determined to win, it would be silly if not foolish to carry any baggage of the old Law-system that would weigh one down as an excessive bourbon. Make full sure you do not get your feet clogged up with a sin-consciousness, as is the habit of many. Become absolutely streamlined in faith. Run the race of life as our renewed, restored spiritual life with total persuasion. (Persuasion in the success of the cross and our co-resurrection and ascension define us now!) Look away from the old shadow dispensation of the Law and the Prophets and fix your eyes upon Jesus. He is the new foundation and conclusion of faith. He saw the joy (of humanity's salvation in his body of our flesh and did not back down from his mission.) when he braved the cross and despised our shame of it. As the executive authority of GOD (the right hand of the Throne of GOD, our original home [Genesis 1:26-27]) he now occupies the highest seat of dominion to endorse humanity's innocence! (Having accomplished purification of sins, he sat down. [Hebrews 1:3, Isaiah 53:11; Revelation 1:8, 11, 17, 2:8, 4:10 and 19:4]) [1]Ponder how he overcame all odds stacked against him; this will boost your soul-energy when you feel exhausted. ([1, G357] analogitsomai, means upwards calculation.)
Would you be willing to die for your faith? (Are you as persuaded of your faith in the substance of Christ as your predecessors were in their believing a mere shadow? In the accounts of chapter 11.) The word in Scripture that confirms our genesis in GOD addresses us as sons (in Job 5:17, Psalm 3:11-12, 119:75; Revelation 3:19), "'My son do not undervalue the [1]loving instruction of the LORD; neither become despondent when you are corrected.'" (Look at the note in verse 7 below, on [1]loving instruction. The word, [1, G3874 from G3870, parakaleō, to desire, from G3844 and G2564] parakletos, used in the KJV is translated as exhortation, but here it is translated rather as loving instruction, "comfort" as in John in relation to the Holy Spirit, the Comforter. The word consists of two components, [G3844] para, a preposition indicating close proximity, a thing proceeding from a sphere of direct influence, with a suggestion of strong union of place of ones residence, to have sprung from the author and giver, originating from, denoting the point from which an action originates, intimacy of connection, and [G2564] kaleo, to identify by name, to surname.) For every [1]instruction is inspired by his love, even as a earthly father would discipline his sons and daughters with affection, though it might seem harsh at the time. Embrace correction. His instruction confirms our true sonship; just as a father would take natural responsibility for the education of own children. (The word, [1, G3809 from G3811, paideuō, means to train up, is from G3816] paideo, means tutorage, comes from [G3816] pais, for a boy or a girl and deo, to bind, to tie [relational]; thus to correct with education, instruction and the schooling of a child. The word, educate in English comes from the Latin word, educare, which means to draw out!) See yourselves as sons, not as illegitimate children, (children of faith, not of the slave woman of the Mosaic Levitical Law) welcoming your spiritual education together with the rest of the family of faith. As we have shown respect to our natural fathers in the process of our education, how much more should we value the instruction of the Father of spirits, our spiritual origin, who upholds the life of our design. In their opinion they gave us the best possible education during the brief time that we were under their roof; GOD has our ultimate well-being in mind. The process of education is not immediately appreciated; at the time it seems to be more pain than pleasure, but it certainly yields the fruitful harvest of righteousness for the faith athlete." May the LORD open our eyes and ears of our awakened spirit to know Him in us, as us and we as him.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 11:32; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are still in our marching mode here in Hebrews 11 and the horizon of the finish line is in sight, however that does not mean anything for us. Because each day is a new beginning in the LORD Christ just as each day brings mercy afresh so is our learning of Him and our relationship in that status of oneness. A relationship that never grows old, gets tired or stale.

Hebrews 11:32-38, 39-40 "And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; That they might obtain a better resurrection: and others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: they were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect." (KJV)

Hebrews 11:32-38, 39-40 "And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets— who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. Women received back their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated— of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect." (ESV)

Hebrews 11:32-38, 39-40 "And so the list of faith-heroes continues to grow. There is not enough time to tell the stories of Gideon and Barak and Sampson and Jephtah, of David, Samuel and the Prophets. There are they who conquered kingdoms by his faith. (Gideon, like Rahab, was in no position to claim any credit for his achievements; faith (dare I say Christ) nullifies boasting [look at Romans 3:27, Judges 6:11-16]) They accomplished righteousness by that same faith (Christ) and thus secured the promise [by Christ that is faith and not by performance]. ( Deborah told Barak the son of Abinoam that, although he would deliver Israel, he would not get the honor, since a woman would do it for him. [look at Judges 4:21] In the principle of righteousness by (Christ's) faith, the flesh will take no glory. Barak, means to worship in adoration, and Adinoam means, "my father's delight" or "grace.") By faith they shut the mouths of lions. (Samson, whose mighty achievements were immediately accredited to the Spirit of the LORD, that is to say, Christ moved upon him. Again there was no occasion to glory in the flesh.) Their faith extinguished powerful fires. They escaped from fierce battles. They were empowered in spite of their frailty. They became heroes in battle and caused hostile armies to flee before them. (Jephtah whose own friends disinherited him because his mother was a prostitute became the captain of the army of Israel.) By faith women received again their children back from the dead. (in 1Kings 17:18-24, 2Kings 4:32-34) Others were severely tortured for their faith and refusal to accept release when it was offered them on condition that they would renounce their opinions. To have accepted deliverance then could have saved their lives, but their faith saw a more honorable and glorious resurrection ahead for them. Still others were severely mocked and ridiculed for their faith: they were beaten, shackled and imprisoned. While some were stoned to death, others ( like Isaiah the Prophet) were sawn asunder with a wood saw. There were yet others who were tempted by the promise of possible release from their tortures, and then they were brutally slaughtered with a sword. Many became wandering refugees with nothing but sheep and goatskins for clothing. They lost everything and were harassed and tortured. The world did not realize their value. These faith-heroes were often driven from their homes and forced to live in the deserts and mountains; sleeping like animals in caves and holes in the ground.
Their lives were trophies to their faith, as the substance of what was invisible but visualized in their hope, and the evidence of things their natural eyes never saw. GOD saw the prefect picture in us as in them; we now complete the history of their lives. (Everything that the shadows prefigured have now found its substance in us through Christ in us.) (The Mirror, with editing)

We shall soon  see the stage set for all these faith heroes are the crowd in the heavens who cheer on! Until our next visit may the LORD give us a glimpse into this heavenly realm that lays ahead.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 11:23; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are still marching forward and learning from the Jewish record the victories of faith and those of the rest of humanity remain as obscurity unless they are encountered by Israel or a single band of Jews.

Hebrews 11:23-29, 30-31 "By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace." (KJV)

Hebrews 11:23-29, 30-31 "By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that the child was beautiful, and they were not afraid of the king's edict. By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward. By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible. By faith he kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood, so that the Destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them. By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned.
By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days. By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies." (ESV)

Hebrews 11:23-29, 30-31 "By faith the parents of Moses did not fear the king's decree, but hid him from Pharaoh for three months, because they saw a future in the child. It was faith that made Moses realize that he was not the son of Pharaoh's daughter. By faith he preferred to be associated with the affliction of GOD'S people rather than with the fleeting privileges of Pharaoh's house, which did not constitute the true [1]portion of his inheritance. (The word, [1, G266 from G264, from G1 and the base of G3313] hamartia, is from (G1) ha, which means negative, and (G3313) meros, which means from or portion, without your portion, to fall short of your portion; which is often translated as sin.) He was not embarrassed to be associated with the Messianic promise at the expense of the treasures of Egypt. He deliberately looked away from those towards the greater riches of his reward in Christ. (No reward of the flesh can compare with the wealth of faith. Moses exhibited the faith of Abraham, this time as a Jew.) The rage of the King did not scare him when he abandoned Egypt; faith, giving substance to the invisible, made him brave. His faith saw the Paschal Lamb and the sprinkled blood on the door posts as the salvation of the people. By faith they crossed the Red Sea (Sea of Reeds) on dry ground, but the Egyptians drowned when they followed them.
By faith the walls of the city of Jericho collapsed when Israel marched around the city for seven days. (They did not conquer through the strength of their army. But by the praise and worship of their GOD!) Rahab the prostitute's faith saved her even though her house was built in the wall! While all the other houses collapsed around her, her own remained. She welcomed the spies and acknowledged the GOD who saved them out of Egypt. (Joshua 2:11) Her family also was given an equal opportunity to be saved through her faith. (Imagine their surprise, bearing in mind her life and shameful reputation! No! Repentance required here. Like Abraham just faith and faith alone, no works of the flesh which is repentance.) (The Mirror, with editing)

Until next time may the LORD show us all the faith in his faith.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 11:17; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Marching on to the tune of a different drummer who echos his harmony within our being as a praise worship melody all the day long. Lets see what faith brings us shall we?

Hebrews 11:17-22 "By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said (in Genesis 12:21), "'That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:'" Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones." (KJV)

Hebrews 11:17-22 "By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son, of whom it was said (in Genesis 12:21), "Through Isaac shall your offspring be named." He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back. By faith Isaac invoked future blessings on Jacob and Esau. By faith Jacob, when dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, bowing in worship over the head of his staff. By faith Joseph, at the end of his life, made mention of the exodus of the Israelites and gave directions concerning his bones." (ESV)

Hebrews 11:17-22 "Faith became a more tangible evidence of the promise than even Isaac could ever be to Abraham. Isaac neither fulfilled nor replaced the promise. Inspired by what faith saw, Abraham was ready to do the ridiculous; to sacrifice his only son, convinced that not even Isaac's death could nullify the promise that GOD had made to him. (If Isaac was not the substance of Abraham's faith then who was? Abraham saw beyond Isaac. He saw Jesus the ancient of days, for he said, 'Abraham saw my day!' [John 8:56-58] 'Before Abraham was, I am.') Yet Abraham knew that GOD had said that his lineage of faith would be traced through Isaac! ( We are this very lineage of faith. And remember this Abraham nor his seed are Jews, but are Gentiles by natural birth.) He made a prophetic [1]calculation by faith to which there could only be one logical conclusion based on the word he had received: that GOD would raise the promise from the dead. (In the context of Abraham's vision, this was an analogy pointing to the parable of the death and resurrection of Christ. A calculation, logical conclusion, from the word [1, G3049 the middle voice from G3056 from G3004 ] logitzomai, is from logos; GOD'S faith is GOD'S logic.) By the same faith Isaac extended the future of the promise in the blessing he pronounced over his sons, Esau and Jacob. In his dying moments, Jacob, in worship to the GOD of Abraham, as the father of the nations, included in the promise [1]the sons of Joseph who were born in Egypt. (1 In exalting the two grandsons into the rank and right of Joseph's Friends, he bestowed on them, rather than on Reuben, the double portion of the first-born. Again, faith exceeds the natural. Even though they had an Egyptian mother, they would have an equal interest in all the spiritual and temporal blessings of the covenant of promise.) At the end of his life, Joseph prophetically reminded his sons of the exodus. He had such a firm belief that they would possess the land of promise that he exacted an oath from them: they were not to leave his bones in Egypt." (The Mirror, with editing)

Until our next visit may the LORD reveal within us his faith life.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 11:13; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Carrying on with the legacy of faiths successful track record and the dynamics of GODLY fear. This not many of our day know nor does the religious realm respect. Though it says that it does, but as outsiders we know by inner inspiration their confessions to be erroneous. Today, if anyone hears, "come out from among," where would they go and from who or what would the coming out be from? Some say the world, which is correct in part only, as we have seen there remains at least one other part. That we have also seen to be mankind's religious form, of which there are some 1500, each claiming to be the only true one. These were the very words my wife and I heard back in the mid 80's shortly after our family, each member receiving the awakening of the Holy Spirit, from the youngest to the oldest, and that would have been me; That is to say Christ's activating our spirits. Just as recorded in chapter 11's theme and term "by faith."

Hebrews 11:13-16 "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city." (KJV)

Hebrews 11:13-16 "These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city." (ESV)

Hebrews 11:13-16 "These heroes of faith all died believing. Although they did not witness the promise (in the physical realm they all fell to sleep waiting for the day of the LORD! That would raise then from the dead, this took place as recorded in Matthew 27:51-54.) in their life time, they saw it fulfilled in the future and embraced the promise by their persuasion. Convinced of its reality; they declared by their way of living that they were mere sojourners and pilgrims in a shadow land whose geography could neither confine nor define their true inheritance. (While we on the other hand though in this same earth bound portal are now, since the cross, living out eternal life while here as sojourners with them of Jewish history. We are the peculiar people unto GOD. We don't fit as with a square peg into a triangular hole. This the effects of coming out from among them.) They clearly declare by faith a hinterland beyond their immediate horizon. (A Place of promise wherein GOD and humanity are one again.) They did not regret the country they had left behind. Their faith took them beyond the point of no return. (Do not allow the contradictions in your past or present to become your reference once again. James says that the person who goes back into an old mind-set immediately forgets what manner of person they are, in James 1:24-25. The old things have passed away [in its death]. behold, everything has become new again! In his resurrection we were born anew. [2Corinthians 5:14-17, 1Peter 1:3]) Their faith saw a greater reality in the spiritual realm than that in which they experienced in their present situation; they reached for their true native home and city designed by GOD where he himself is proud to be our permanent address. (The fulfillment of this promise is Christ! He is both our native land and our eternal home. The very place of many rooms that Jesus spoke of in John 14:2-3.) (The Mirror, with editing)

Until our next visit may the LORD show both you and yours your salvation.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 11:8; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are in the midst of those who pleased GOD by their walk of faith. This being a way of encouragement for those who would choose to follow by abandoning the broad ways, of worldly systems that led to destruction. Today, these have become more apparent as religion, politics and religious-political systems that seek to remove the knowledge of GOD as "the new world order," of  corrupted humanity's design, which deep rooted corruption dictate. All the while the LORD is building his family the church from among the people effected by this corruption of the world's systems, he is indeed bring them out from among them, from all nationalities and ethnic groups, in accord with 2Corinthians 6:11-7:3. By forsaking all others as worldly retribution's.

Hebrews 11:8-12 "By faith Abraham, when he was called[1] to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged[1] him faithful who had promised. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many (taken from Genesis 5:5, 12:17 and 32:12) "as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable." (KJV)

Hebrews 11:8-12 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called[1] to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God. By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered[1] him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many (taken from Genesis 5:5, 12:17 and 32:12) as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore." (ESV)

Hebrews 11:8-12 "By faith Abraham acknowledged the [1]call of GOD which gave him his identity and destiny, as evidence of his inheritance as he sojourned into the yet unknown. (The word, [1, G2564, Akin to the base of G2753 keleuō, to urge on] kaleo, means to call, to identify by name, to surname.) Nothing but his faith seemed permanent while Abraham camped in tents like a stranger in the land of promise. His sons Isaac and Jacob joined him as sojourners; equally persuaded that they were heirs of the same promise. His faith saw a city with permanent foundations, designed and constructed by GOD. Sarah's testimony of faith is just as amazing: she conceived and bore a child when it was humanly impossible. She believed that GOD would be faithful to his promise, and [1]gave that belief authority over her life. (The word, [1, G2233 strengthened form of G71] hegeomai, means strengthen from (G71) ago, to officially appoint in a position of authority.) Faith brought into reality an offspring beyond calculation; from one as good as dead children would be born more numerous than (taken from Genesis 5:5, 12:17 and 32:12) the stars and as impossible to count as the grains of sand on every distant sea shore. (The uttermost parts of the earth, bordered by the sea shore, will know the blessing of righteousness by faith which is the blessing of Abraham, meant for the entire world. [1Peter 1:3].)

Now may the LORD'S light dawn within our hearts yet once again as we continue to learn of Him who is "faithfulness."

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 11:1; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Our writer now turns our attention to those of Biblical History who walked by agreement with GOD known as being in faith, as documented by their triumphs accomplished by doing so. In the Hebrews chapter on faiths walking his promises out daily.

Hebrews 11:1-7 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith (in Genesis 1) we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel (in Genesis 4:4) offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch (in Genesis 5:21-24) was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. By faith Noah (in Genesis 6:13-22) being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith." (KJV)

Hebrews 11:1-7 "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith (in Genesis 1) we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. By faith Abel (in Genesis 4:4) offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. By faith Enoch (in Genesis 5:21-24) was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. By faith Noah (in Genesis 6:13-22), being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith." (ESV)

Hebrews 11:1-7 "Persuasion confirms confident expectation and proves the unseen force of the world to be more real than the seen. Faith celebrates as certain what hope visualizes as future. (The shadow no longer substitutes the substance. Jesus is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of everything the Prophets foretold. The unveiling of Christ in human life completes humanity's every expectation. Colossians 1:27) People of previous generations received the testimony of their hope in faith. It was faith that made their hope tangible. (Only the Messiah can give substance to the Messianic hope. No substitute will suffice!) Faith alone explains what is not apparent to the natural eye; how the age were perfectly framed by the Word of GOD. Now we understand that everything visible has its origin in the invisible (Genesis 1). It was faith that made the difference between the sacrifices of Abel (in Genesis 4:4) and Cain, and confirmed Abel's righteousness. GOD bore witness to righteousness as a gift rather than a reward! Even though he was murdered, his faith continues to be a most relevant prophetic voice. (Hebrews 12:24) Enoch (in Genesis 5:21-24) enjoyed GOD'S grace by faith, in spite of Adam's fall; he proved that faith defeats death. (His absent body prophesied the resurrection of Christ; faith does not die!) There is no substitute [1]reward for faith. Faith's return exceeds any other sense of achievement. Faith knows that GOD "Is"; Those who desire to respond to his invitation to draw near, realize by faith that he is life's most perfect gift. (If he is the desired one then no substitute will suffice. Jesus Christ defines GOD'S Faith; he is Emmanuel (G1694 from H6005 ‛immânû'êl, from H5973 im, in conjunction with, and H410 el, the almighty). He is the substance and evidence of all that GOD believes. Jesus is what GOD believes. The word translated "reward" is the word [1, G3406 from G3409 and G591 ] misthapodotes. This word is only used once in the Bible and is an interesting combination of two words, (G3409) misthoo, a wage and (G591) apodidomi, to give away; righteousness is revealed by faith as a gift and not as a reward for keeping  faith pleases GOD, not good or bad behavior.) Noah (in Genesis 6:13-22) received Divine instruction to save his household from judgment; faith promopted his to construct the Ark immediately, long before the rains were evidenced. His faith demonstrated the difference between judgment and justification." (The Mirror, with editing)

May we all learn the lessons of faith.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 10:32; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

When we have become among the "Living" in Christ, the old standards no longer apply, for we are in truth seated in Him at Fathers right hand. It is from this vantage point that we live, move and have our being, sons and daughters of GOD, now today as long as we can say today, this is how we are to be. For we have received the promise of his second coming as he left, Spirit! Our renewed spirit life of Genesis 2 creations of promise. For us it will become eternity where there is no separation of night and day. For therein light just flows naturally.

Hebrews 10:32-39 "But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions; Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used. For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done[1] the will of God, ye might receive the promise (of Habakkuk 2:3-4). "For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him." But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." (KJV)

Hebrews 10:32-39 "But recall the former days when, after you were enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings, sometimes being publicly exposed to reproach and affliction, and sometimes being partners with those so treated. For you had compassion on those in prison, and you joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one. Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done[1] the will of God you may receive what is promised (of Habakkuk 2:3-4). For, "Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him." But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls." (ESV)

Hebrews 10:31-39 "Remember how strongly you stood against painful contractions in those early days when you first saw the light (wisdom of GOD). As if on a theatre stage, you were publicly ridiculed and afflicted for your faith, both personally and in your associations with others that were similarly abused. I remind you of the sincere sympathy you felt for me then, during my imprisonment; how you also cheerfully accepted the plundering of your personal property. You were convinced that the treasure you have within you is of far greater and more permanent value, secured as it is in the heavenly dimension. I urge you not to every definition of reward and confirm what grace reveals. Employ patience as you continue[1] to echo the poetry of GOD'S desire for you to possess the promise. (The word, [1, G4160] poeima, means make of the promise (G1860 from G1861); your doing is to echo the promise and the desire of GOD! The promise is a gift of faith and not a reward for good behavior!) Time becomes insignificant once the promise is realized. Remember how the promise of his imminent appearance was recorded in Scripture. (The arrival of Jesus is the fulfillment of the promise and the realization of righteousness by faith, as Habakkuk prophesied in 2:2-44. He is the fullness of time. [Galatians 4:4] Jesus brought Christ to realization as a gift restored to humanity.) Righteousness (Genesis 2's innocence realized.) by GOD'S Faith, defines life; reverting to the Law of works grieves GOD'S work of grace. (Instead of reading the curse when disaster strikes, Habakkuk realized that the Promise out dated performance as the basis for humanity's acquittal. Deuteronomy 28 would no longer be the motivation or the measure of right or wrong behavior! "Though the fig tree does not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the GOD of my salvation. GOD, the LORD, is my strength; he makes my feet like hinds' feet, he makes me tread upon my high places. [Habakkuk 2:4, 3:17-19 RSV]) But we are not of the quitting kind; we possess a persuasion of soul that believes against all odds the reality of Christ within." (The Mirror, with editing)

May the LORD again increase our delight in his revelation and light.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 10:26; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

By sticking to the thought pattern of each chapter may take a little longer but it reveals so much more especially in the exhortation to hold fast the faith of Christ in our restored "new life" as Christ-ones. Remember that the shadow covenant spoke in futuristic language, which with our co-resurrection and co-ascension became present active tense. Taking away the now old standard and made all things new again as in Genesis 2.

Hebrews 10:26-31 "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and (a quote of Isaiah 26:11) "fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." He that despised Moses' (Levitical) Law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said (in Deuteronomy 32:35), "'Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord.'" And again (in Deuteronomy 32:36), "The Lord shall judge his people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." (KJV)

Hebrews 10:26-31 "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment (a quote of Isaiah 26:11), and a "fury of fire that will consume the adversaries." Anyone who has set aside the (Levitical) Law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? For we know him who said (in Deuteronomy 32:35), "'Vengeance is mine; I will repay.'" And again (in Deuteronomy 32:36), "The Lord will judge his people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." (ESV)

Hebrews 10:26-31 "To know the truth, as we now do (or should), and still persists in deliberate sinning is to openly discard GOD'S provision in Christ. But unlike the old sacrificial systems, no further sacrifice can be offered in the new. To despise and reject his gift inevitably brings the self-inflicted judgment of the (Levitical) Law of works; this destructive judgment devours lives like stubble in a wild fire. (To know that Jesus bore your due judgment and still prefer to carry it ourselves by remaining under the old Law system is absurd!) There was no mercy under the Mosaic Law; two or three witnesses could sentence a suspect to death. (Look at Hebrews 6:6-17 and James 2:13] Judgment shows no mercy to those who do not walk in mercy, but (the law of liberty) living on mercy fears no judgment. [Galatians 5:22-23] There is no law against Agape (love). [Look at 1John 4:18]) With how much closer scrutiny do you suppose someone will be viewed who has trampled the Son of GOD underfoot and scorned the blood of the New Covenant by publicly insulting the Spirit of Grace. (Preferring of the Levitical Law above the revelation of grace brings one back under the old system of judgment of the Law without possibility of further sacrifice. There is no alternative mercy outside of GOD'S Grace gift in Christ.) As Jews (speaking now to a particular people) we are familiar with Scripture, which says that GOD is the revealer of righteousness, jealous to restore the order of peace. He is the umpire of his people. (this in Deuteronomy 32:36) What a foolish thing it would be to deliberately shun the hands that bled for our salvation (Yeshuah, by his Hebrew name). (The Mirror, with editing)

Now may the LORD of All give both you and yours assurance of his good will in all things by his mercy.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 10:19; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Our last post carried a kind of warning in the introduction to do not do as the wicked religious world do, that is mix both the old shadow covenant and Better of the New. Today we shall see again why this is so important.

Hebrews 10:19-25 "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (KJV)

Hebrews 10:19-25 "Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." (ESV)

Hebrews 10:19-25 "Brethren, this means that though what the blood of Jesus communicates and represents, we are now welcome to access this ultimate place of sacred encounter with unashamed confidence. A brand new way of life has been introduced and opened for us all. Because of his flesh (being our flesh) torn and nailed on the tree. (Our own flesh can no longer be a valid excuse to interrupt the expression of the life of our own design, it is of no excuse.) We have a High Priest in the house. We are free to approach him with absolute confidence, fully persuaded in our hearts that nothing can any longer separate us from him. We are invited to draw near now! We are thoroughly cleansed, inside and out, with no trace of sin's stain on our conscience or conduct. The sprinkled blood purges our inner thought-patterns; our bodies also are bathed in clean water, the living word is that water. (Our behavior bears witness of this.) Our conversation echoes his persuasion; his faithfulness backs his promises. (His integrity inspires our confession. "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful; And let us consider how to stir up one another to agape and good works.) Let us also think of creative ways by which we can influence one another to find inspired expression in doing things that benefit others. GOOD actions give voice and volume to the Agape of GOD. In the light of our free access to the Father of spirits, let us extend that embrace to one another. Our gatherings are no longer a repetition of traditions but an essential fellowship where we remind one another of our true identity. Let us do so with greater urgency now the day has dawned in our understanding. (The prophetic shadow has become the light of day!) (The Mirror, with editing)

May our LORD show us all his rich benefit in our, humanity's oneness.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 10:11; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are all about getting into the Better Covenant that supersedes that of the now old shadow covenant now useless one made solely with Israel. But do not do as the wicked religious world do; that is to mix, as in a slurry, both the old shadow covenant and the Better.

Hebrews 10:11-18 "And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever (in Psalm 110:1), "sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool." For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before (in Jeremiah 31:33-34), "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more." Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin." (KJV)

Hebrews 10:11-18 "And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins (Psalm 110:1), "he sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet." For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying (in Jeremiah 31:33-34), "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds," then he adds, "I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more." Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin." (ESV)

Hebrews 10:11-18 "Every priest continually repeats the same daily rituals and sacrifices, knowing that they have always proved incapable of removing sins guilt consciousness. But now we have the exception. In complete contrast to the previous priesthood, this priest offered a single sacrifice of perpetual efficacy for sins. To celebrate the perfection of what was attained through his single sacrifice, he sat down as the executive authority of GOD. (GOD'S right hand [Hebrews 1:3]. He occupies the highest seat of dominion to endorse humanity's innocence! "Having accomplished purification of our hearts from sins stain (moving all memory of conscious), he sat down.) His seat of authority was established on the sure expectation that all his enemies will be subdued. He will stand in triumph, his feet on the neck of his enemy (doubt and unbelief). By that one perfect sacrifice he has [1]perfected [2]sanctified sinful humanity forever. (The word, [2, G37 from G40 and OT H2282 ] hagiazomenous, means to sanctify, the present Participle describes an action thought of as simultaneous with the action of the main verb, "perfect;" [1, G5048 from G5046 from G5056 complete conclusion ] teteleioken, in the Perfect Tense denotes an action which is completed in the past, but the effects of which are regarded as continuing into the present. [Hebrews 2:11] For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified have all one origin (in Genesis 1:26-27, 2:1-3, 6-7, 18, 21-25). This is exactly what the Holy Spirit now endorses in us having already foretold it in Scripture. (in Jeremiah 31:33-34) This is my covenant that I will make with you during those days, says the LORD; 'I will greatly advantage you by [1]giving my laws in your hearts and engraving them in your minds inmost thoughts. (The word, [1, G1325] didomi, means to give someone something to their advantage.) This is final: I have no record of your sins and misdeeds. I cannot recall them.' (Nothing in GOD'S reference of humanity, reminds him of sin. [Hebrews 8:12]) Sins were dealt with in such a thorough manner that the idea of having to add any further offerings (repentance) will never again be considered. Nothing that we can personally sacrifice can add further virtue to our innocence." (The Mirror, with editing)

Now that is allot to digest. We shall continue our quest for the benefits that are ours, when we finally are enabled to see and hear the Gospel with clarity, having the filthy rags of religion removed.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 10:1; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

The headings for chapter 10 speak loud and clear that within, we find an in depth explanation of why and how this New Covenant of Grace is so much Better than the old. So without delay we shall dig right in. And by the way our writer makes use of Psalm 40, Jeremiah 31 and Habakkuk again. Keep in mind that David when he wrote Psalm 40, he did it as an eye witness over hearing a private conversation between the Father and his Son, who was soon to be clothed with our humanity in order to fulfill the promise of Genesis 3:15 and 12:1-3.

Hebrews 10:1-10 "For the (Levitical) Law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? Because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith (in Psalm 40:6-8), "Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God." Above when he said (Psalm 40:6), "Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the (Levitical) Law;" Then said he (Psalm 40:7-8), "Lo, I come to do thy will, O God." He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." (KJV)

Hebrews 10:1-10 "For since the (Levitical) Law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said (in Psalm 40:6-8), "'Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me; in burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure.' Then I said (in Psalm 40:7-8), 'Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.'" When he said above (in Psalm 40:6), "'You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings'" (these are offered according to the (Levitical) Law), then he added (Psalm 40:7-8), "'Behold, I have come to do your will.'" He does away with the first in order to establish the second. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." (ESV)

Hebrews 10:1-10 "For the Levitical Law presented to us a faint shadow, outlining the promise of the blessings anticipated in the coming of Messiah-Christ, even detailing its future significance. The mere sketch however, could never be confused with the actual object that it represented. The animal sacrificial rites as shadow of the eventual object would always leave the worshipper feeling inadequate and be a reminder year after year of the sinfulness of humanity. (Barnes Notes on Hebrews 10:1, "For the law having a shadow: That is, the whole Mosaic economy was a shadow; for so the "Law" is often used. The word, "shadow" here refers to a rough outline of anything, a mere sketch, such as a carpenters draws with a piece of chalk, or such as an arist delineates when he is about to make a picture.

He sketches an outline of the object which he desires to draw, which has "some" resemblance to it, but is not the "very image;" for it is not yet complete. The words rendered "the very image" refer to a painting or statue that is finished, where every part is an exact representation of the original. The "good things to come" here refer to the future blessings which would be conferred on humanity by the Gospel.  The idea is, that under the ancient sacrifices there was an imperfect representation; a dim outline of the true blessing which the Gospel would impart to people. They were a typical representation; they were not such that it could be pretended that they would answer the purpose of the things themselves which they were to represent, and would make these who offered them perfect.

Such a rude outline; such a mere sketch, or imperfect delineation, could no more answer the purpose of saving the soul than the rough sketch which an architect makes would answer the purpose of a house, or than the first outline which a painter draws would answer the purpose of a perfect and finished portrait. All that could be done by either would be to convey some distant and obscure idea of what the house or picture might be, and this was all that was done by the Law of Moses."

The Gospel is no longer a future prediction; it is now a relevant revelation. We are talking good news, and not just good predictions! News already happened! Every definition of distance or delay was cancelled in Christ!)

Had it been possible to present the prefect offering that had the power to successfully remove any trace of a sin-consciousness, then the sacrificial system would surely have ceased to be relevant. But in the very repetition of these ritual sacrifices the awareness of guilt is reinforced rather than its removal. The conclusion is made clear: animal sacrifices failed to remove anyone's sinfulness or their sin-consciousness. So when Jesus, the Messiah, arrived as the fulfillment of all the types and shadows, he quoted Psalm 40:6-8, and said, "'In sacrifices and offerings GOD took no pleasure; but in me he has ordained my incarnation!'" (Adam Clarke writes the following commentary: A body hast thou prepared me - The quotation of this and the two following verses by the apostle, are taken from the Septuagint, with scarcely any variety of reading: they are widely different in verbal expression in the Hebrew. In the Hebrew text David's words are, oznayim carithat li, which we translate, My ears hast thou opened; but the writer of this Epistle quotes soma [body] de katertiso moi. How is it possible that the Septuagint and the apostle should take a very ingenious conjecture here: he supposes that the Septuagint and apostle express the meaning of the words as they stood in the copy from the Greek translation [Septuagint] was made; and that the present Hebrew text is corrupted in the word aznayim, ears, which has been written through carelessness for az gevah, then, a body....The first syllable, az, then is the same in both; and the latter, nyim, which is joined to, az making oznayim, might have been easily mistaken for gevah, body; the letter nun being very like the letter gimel; yod like van; and he like final mem; especially if the line on which the letters were written in the MS. happened to be blacker than ordinary, which has often been a cause of mistakes, it might then have been easily taken for the under-stroke of the mem, and thus given rise to a corrupt reading; add to this, the root carah signifies as well to prepare, as to open, bore,,,,ect. On this supposition the ancient copy translated by the Septuagint, and followed by the apostle, must have read the text thus az gevah charitha li. Then a body thou hast prepared me: thus the Hebrew text, the version of the Septuagint, and the apostle, will agree in what is known to be indisputable fact in Christianity, namely, that Christ was incarnated for the sin of the world.

The Ethiopic has nearly the same reading: the Arabic has both, "A body hast thou prepared me, and mine ears thou hast opened." But the Syriac, the Chaldee, and the Vulgate, agree with the present Hebrew text; and none of the MSS. collated by Kennicott and De Rossi have any various reading on the disputed words.

It is remarkable, that all the offerings and sacrifices which were considered to be of an atoning or cleansing nature, offered under the Law, are here enumerated by the psalmist and the apostle, to show that none of them, nor all of them, could take away sin; and that the grand sacrifice of Christ was a lone that which did it.

Four kinds are here specified, both by the psalmist and the apostle: viz. Sacrifice, zebach Ovoia; Offering, minchah. It was impossible that the blood of bulls and goats,,,etc. should take away sin.)

None of the prescribed offerings and sacrifices, including burnt offerings and sin offerings were your request. (For the use of the word 'request' here, and pleasure in verse 6, see the Hebrew words used in Psalm 40:6, Chapetz - pleasure, delight and Shawal, request, demand.) "Then I said, I read in your book what you wrote about me; so here I am, I have come to fulfill my destiny." (Psalm 40:7, Luke 4:17, 24:27, 44.) having said what he did in the above quote, that the prescribed offering and sacrifices were neither his desire nor delight, he condemned the entire sacrificial system upheld by the Law.  (These only served to sustain a sin-consciousness and were of no redemptive benefit to anyone.) Also by saying, "I am commissioned to fulfill your will," he announced the final closure of the first order to introduce the second. (Grace replaced the Law; innocence supersedes sin-consciousness.)  So, by this fulfilled will, in the mind of GOD and by his resolution he declared and decreed humanity immediately sanctified through one sacrifice; the presentation of the body of Jesus Christ." (The Mirror, with editing)

Until our next visit, the LORD willing, when we shall continue with chapter 10. May he show us all the value of our salvation in him, in his name.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 9:23; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are about to bring chapter 9 to a close but be of good cheer we are not done with the Better Covenants explanation. And the how and why, it covers all of humanity and is not restricted to just one group of people. As the old covenant by all appearances seems to have been. In other words its scope is much broader than the old.

Hebrews 9:23-28 "It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." (KJV)

Hebrews 9:23-28 "Thus it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these rites, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters the holy places every year with blood not his own, for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him." (ESV)

Hebrews 9:23-28 "If the methods of the Levitical Law were only a shadow prefiguring the heavenly reality, the fulfillment of these examples surely requires a stronger and more efficacious sacrifice. In Christ we have so much more than a type reflected in the tabernacle of  holy places set up by human hands. He entered into the heavenly sphere itself, where he personally represents humanity face to face with GOD. (Our humanity now before GOD) Neither was it necessary for him to ever repeat his sacrifice. The High Priests under the old shadow system stood proxy with substitute animal sacrifices that had to be offered yearly. But Jesus did not have to suffer again and again since the [1]fall of the world; the [2]single sacrifice of himself in the fulfillment of history now reveals how he brought sin to naught. (The word, [1, G2602, katabolē, to deposit, is from G2598] kataballo, means "to fall away, to put in a lower place," instead of (G2310) themelios, which means "foundation;" (look at Ephesians 2:20) thus, translated "the fall of the world," instead of "the foundation of the world." The entire "Fall" was a falling away in our own minds from our true identity as image and likeness bearers of Elohim. Just like Eve, were we all deceived to believe a lie about ourselves, which is the fruit of the "I-am-not-tree." (This why Jesus was hung on the tree of this curse, and he became that curse there. Deuteronomy 21:23; Galatians 3:13-14) We all, like sheep have gone astray, gone our own way, [Isaiah 53:6] [2]GOD'S Lamb took away this sin and the sins of the world!) The same goes for everyone: a person dies only once, and then faces judgment. Christ died once and faced the judgment of the entire human race! He second appearance [in his resurrect] has nothing to do with sin, but to reveal salvation for all to [1]fully embrace him. (To fully embrace, [1] apekdechomai, is from apo, away from [that which defined me before] and ek, out of, source; and dechomai, to take into one's hands to accept whole-heartedly, to fully embrace. In his resurrection he appeared as Savior of the world! Sin is no longer on the agenda, for the Lamb of GOD has taken away the sins of the world! (The church with man's many imaginary religions have not caught up with GOD, as it lacks petros, revelation knowledge!) Jesus Christ fulfilled humanity's destiny with death! [1Corinthians 15:3-5, Romans 4:25, Acts 17:30-31.])

Note: Jesus did not come to condemn the world! The Father judges no one for he has handed over all judgment to the Son, who judged the world in righteousness when he took humanity's judgment in his own body. Now in his appearance in us, his body, his mission is to unveil the consequences of redemption exoneration through the Holy Spirit.

Many Scriptures have been translated and interpreted with only a futuristic value and have consequently neutralized many, like the Jews, to diligently wait for the Messiah still to come. The Messiah has come once and for all as Messiah. Jesus appeared again after his resurrection and now his resurrection life in us as his body is the extension of his second appearance; GOD making his appeal to an already reconciled world to "be reconciled!" [Acts 3:26, 2Corinthians 5:19-20] The church continues to postpone the reality that GOD introduced in Christ. We are now already fully represented in his blamelessness! The second coming as doctrine is not in context of these chapters at all! [Look at 1Peter 1:10-13] The Aramaic word, maranatha, means our LORD has come!

Look also at 1Thessalonians 2:19, We expect nothing less in the context of the gospel than you enjoying a face to face encounter in the [1]immediate presence of our LORD Jesus Christ! This is our delight and wreath of honor! (The word, [1] parousia, speaks of the immediate presence of the LORD! From para, a preposition indicating close proximity, a thing proceeding from a sphere of influence, with a suggestion of strong union a place of residence, to have sprung from its author and giver, originating from, denoting the point from which an action originates ( Genesis 1:26-27, 2:1-3), intimate connection; and eimi, I am! There is not even a hint of judgment or punishment in this word! Please do not believe everything you read in Strongs! "G3952, parousia, is from the present Participle of G3918; a being near, that is, advent; often, return; specifically of Christ to punish Jerusalem, or finally the wicked." !!???) (The Mirror, with editing.)

With our next visit the LORD willing we shall pick up with chapter 10. Until then may our LORD reveal within us our true identity restored in innocence, a pure heart, of his righteousness.
