The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 7:11; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are still looking into our High Priest's never ending reign and our being conjoined to him by our salvation, remembering that Salvation is taken from the Hebrew name Yeshuah (H3444), in the Greek (G4991 from G4990 from G4982 and G4992) means Jesus, deliver...i.e. GOD, defender, and our safety. Our writer calls again on Psalm 110:4, with Numbers 23:19 and 1Samuel 15:29, as his witness to that revealed. And much of what is stated bears on the demands of the Mosaic Law of self works or self-will powers failure, as the witness against all who choose that as their basis and way of life. This theme we shall carry over to its conclusion, just where that remains to be seen. as there are many who struggle with the demand to let go of the old systems and religious ways so ingrained within their way of thinking.

Hebrews 7:11-22 "If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the Law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the Law. For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, who is made, not after the Law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. For he testifieth (in Psalm 110:4), "Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec." For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the Law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
Heb 7:20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest (in Numbers 23:19, 1Samuel 15:29): (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament." (KJV)

Hebrews 7:11-22 "Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the Law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron? For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the Law as well. For the one of whom these things are spoken belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek, who has become a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning bodily descent, but by the power of an indestructible life. For it is witnessed of him (in Psalm 110:4), "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek." For on the one hand, a former commandment is set aside because of its weakness and uselessness (for the Law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand, a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God. And it was not without an oath. For those who formerly became priests were made such without an oath, but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him (in Numbers 23:19, 1Samuel 15:29): "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest forever.'" This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant." (ESV)

Hebrews 7:11-22 "If there is a new order of priesthood, there must obviously be a new law. (Melchizedek reveals a new basis for righteousness, related not to a person's efforts to keep the Law by their own will power, but based upon the perfect work of Christ. This new law is called the law of faith [Romans 3:27], the law of perfect liberty [James 1:25], and the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus [Romans 8:2]) The person who is prophetically implicated as being the leader of this new priesthood belongs to a completely different tribe. This alone implies a complete break with tradition because no one from any tribe other than the Levitt's ever toughed the altar. History is clear that the LORD's lineage is from Judah, concerning whom Moses made no mention of a priestly office. of far greater significance and even more apparent is the fact that Jesus in mirrored in Melchizedek in whom the new priestly office arises. This new office is not based on the Law of precepts constrained by the frailty of the flesh, but by the authority of an indestructible life (as demonstrated in his resurrection and ascension). Thus Scripture confirms his perpetual priesthood exactly according to the pattern of Melchizedek.  This new order brought about an immediate end to the previous inferior and totally useless system of laws and commandments. In its ability to reunite humanity with GOD, the Law did not succeed even once; that is why it was superseded by the introduction of a far superior hope, a new order in which we are perfectly represented before GOD. The previous priesthood was reduced to a mere tradition and passed on through natural descent from father to son. GOD had no say in the matter. To give irrefutable integrity to the Messianic priesthood, it was written in Psalm 110:4, "The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.'" Melchizedek mirrors Christ in the highest office of priesthood as mediator between GOD and humanity. Jesus is now the living proof of GOD's covenant pledge to benefit humanity in a far better way than under any previous arrangement." (The Mirror, with editing)

Until our next visit when we shall bring this to its rest; Before we look into a Better Ministry. May our LORD and High Priest reveal within us all his power of dominion restored even if it is limited.
