John, now takes us forward into what many of us need to visualize on, our upward self-imaging at our Father's right-hand as Christ-ones. Our Bibles say that it is Christ Jesus who occupies that position but in reality in GOD'S mind it is us as Christ-ones. For Paul in his Ephesians Epistle chapter 4 declares the oneness we share in Christ Jesus' humanity, that ties us as one unite. It might be of use to remember the OT declaration that GOD'S people parish for a lack of vision, and vision means knowledge or understanding in Hosea 4:6.
1John 3:4-10 "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother." (KJV)

1John 3:4-10 "[1]Distorted behavior is the result of a warped self-image! A [2]lost sense of identity is the bases of all sin! (The word sin, is the word [1, G266 from G264 hamartanō, sin, from G1 (as a negative particle) and the base of G3313] hamartia, it is from (G1) a or ha, it is a negative or without and (G3313) meros, portion or form, thus to be without our allotted portion or without form, pointing to a disorientated, distorted, bankrupt identity (of mindset, or belief); the word meros, derives from morphe, as in 2Corinthians 3:18 the word metamorphe, (changed G3339) with form, which is the opposite of (G264) hamartia - without form. Sin is to live out of context with the original blueprint of one's design; to behave out of tune with GOD'S original harmony. It is to be out of step with our true sonship! Look at Deuteronomy 32:18. Sin is not something we do or don't do, it is missing out on our sonship. Hear the father pleading with the other "lost" brother in Luke 15, "My son, you've always been with me and all that I have is yours!" Now look at 1John 3:9. The root of sin is to believe a lie (falsehood) about ourselves, which is the fruit of the "I am-not Tree." (Genesis 3) This was also the essence of Israel's unbelief that kept them trapped in a grasshopper-mindset for 40 years. The word often translated, lawlessness, [2, G458 from G459 anomos, lawless, from G1 (as a negative particle) and G3551] anomia, is from (G1) a, meaning without and (G3551) onoma, name - thus without a name, anonymous. In my opinion there exists an etymological link between the words onoma and anonmos.) We have witnessed with our own eyes how, in the unveiling of the prophetic word, when he was lifted up upon the cross as the Lamb of GOD (scapegoat), he [1]lifted up our sins and disengaged its dominion and rule over us! (John 1:29, "Behold, the Lamb of GOD, who [1]takes away [airo] the sin of the world! The word, [1, G142, OT H5375] airo, means to lift up, to take away.) To [1]abide in him in uninterrupted seamless oneness, is to live free from sin. Whoever continues in sin has obviously not perceived how free they are in him; they clearly do not really know him (Matthew 11:29's understanding). (The word, [1, G3306] meno, to stay, suggests an uninterrupted abiding; a seamless oneness.) Little children, do not be led astray by any other opinion; his righteousness is the source of our righteousness. Sin's source is a [1]fallen mindset, from the beginning! For this purpose the Son of GOD was revealed! His mission was to undo the works of the Devil (religion)! (The word, [1, G1228 from G1225 diaballō, from G1223 and G906 ] diabolos, is from (G1223) dia, because of and (G906) ballo, means to cast down. Meaning to acquire an abandoned mindset of ones true origin.) To discover one's authentic sonship in GOD, is to discover true freedom (the kingdom of heaven) from sin. We are born of him and his seed remains in us; this is the only possible reference to sober up the mind from the intoxicating of influence of deception. (The incorruptible seed (word of promise) of our Father carries the exact pattern of the of our authentic life of our original design! Jesus calls the Devil, the father of lies.
John 8:31-32, 36, 44, "Jesus then said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and this truth will make you free....So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed....You are of your father the Devil, and your will is to do your father's will. He was a murder from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him (I am not part of him, he does not have my seed within him). when he lies, he speaks from his own distorted opinion; for he is a liar and the father of lies."
His intention is to kill humanity's awareness of their god-identity.
John 8:56-58, 10:30-36, "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day; he saw it and was glad. The Jews then said to him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.' Two chapters later Jesus addresses the same audience again:... 'I and Father are one.' The Jews took up stones against him. Jesus answered them, 'I have shown you many good works from Father; for which of these do you now stone me?' The Jews answered him, "It is not for good works that we stone you but for blasphemy; because you, being a man (human), make yourself GOD." Jesus answered them, 'Is it not written in your law, 'I said, you are gods?' If he called them gods to whom the word of GOD came [and Scripture cannot be broken], do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, "You are blaspheming." because I said, 'I am the Son of GOD?'" here Jesus quoted Psalm 82:6, "I say, 'You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you!' What does it mean to build your house upon the rock? "Son of man, I say you are Rock; you're a chip of this Rock - son of man, is the son of GOD!'" Dig deep=Gaze deeply, intently into the mirror of likeness to see face to face your birth! Luke 6:48; James 1:18, 23-25; Isaiah 51:1; Deuteronomy 32:18, Living your life from who you are in Christ [Grace] beats living your life from who you are in Adam [Law of works] by far! Plus it is storm-proof!) There is a very visible and vast difference between living one's life from our GOD identity, to that from a fallen mindset; the [1]diabolos-fruit has nothing in common with [2]righteousness; neither does it know anything about brotherly love. (The children of the Devil; here translated [1, G1225] diabolos-fruit; the typical fruit that the fallen mindset bears. Righteousness, [2, G1343 from G1342 dikaios, means innocence, from G1349 ] diakaiosune, is from (G1349) dike, means, justice, right is self evident, two parties finding likeness in each other.) Again I say WOW! The LORD has revealed to us who his is and who we are as the Now people of promise.
