"The Secret of GOD," as revealed by John in the Revelation of Christ, chapter 5:6, with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

The seals of the small scroll are about to be opened for those who have become the LORD'S witnesses to hear and see by way of internal inspiration of the Holy Spirit, they having awakened to His divine revelation within them, by their true identity of origin with Him in His crucifixion. This causing the promised re-birthing from above, of ones spirit or soul, by the resurrection and ascension. Lets drop back in to see what is said, at verses 6-10.

Revelation 5:6-10 "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth." (KJV)

Revelation 5:6-10 "And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. And He went and took the scroll from the right hand of Him who was seated on the throne. And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth." (ESV)

Revelation 5:6-10 "So I looked to see the Lion, and there - as if fused into one with the Throne and in unison with the four Living Beings - taking center stage in the midst of the Elders, I saw a little Lamb, alive and standing - even though it seemed to have been violently butchered in sacrifice! It is had seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven Spirits of GOD having been sent out to accomplish His bidding in all the earth. (You cannot see the Lion until you see the Lamb! Mankind's redeemed innocence is the authority of the Throne of the Kingdom of GOD.

The word mesos, in the midst; is from meta - suggests an immediate closeness as in an inseparable union.  The word arnion, is the diminutive form of aren;  thus a lambkin. The verb esphagmenon, indicates violence, butchery - also the sacrificial word of Exodus 12:6.

Interesting prophetic pointer to the slain Lamb of GOD! The Lion of Judah! See Genesis 49:6, 9-10, Oh my soul, come not into their council; Oh my spirit, be not joined to their company; for in their anger they slay men, as if they are slaying an animal in their wantonness!  And then 3 verses on, we fine this, Judah is a lion's whelp; and in 10, The scepter shall not depart from Judah!

In Isaiah 52:10, 14-15, Psalm 22:27, The LORD has bared His holy arm before the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our GOD...... As many were astonished at Him----His appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and His form beyond that of the sons of men----so shall He startle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of Him; for that which has not been told them they shall see, and that which they have not heard they shall understand. Psalm 22:27, All the end's of the earth shall remember and turn the the LORD; and all the families of the nations shall worship before Him.) The Lamb [1]came and [2]at once took it out of the right hand of the One seated upon the Throne! (The use of the Greek tenses create a vivid dramatic picture of the actual scene; [1] elthen [Aorist] and [2] eilephen which is in the perfect tenses of the verb, (G2983) lambano, to take, receive, grasp. Alternating the perfect tense with the Aorist, is very graphic. Then in the next verse it is back to the narrative Aorist tense.) The moment He [1] took the scroll, the four Living Beings and the twenty four Elders bowed down in worship in their priestly offices before the little Lamb. Each one had a [2]stringed instrument and a typical temple [3] vessel, a broad shallow saucer of pure gold, filled with incense - in the context of this imagery their praise represented the prayers and worship of the masses of Saints - and every single one realized how sanctified they are because of the Lamb. (Here John again resumes the narrative Aorist tense, [1] elaben, the Strong's uses the (G2983) in place of the Aorist elaben. The imagery is from the typical tabernacle and temple service. The word [2, G2788] kitharos, [guitar] harp was a triangular shape stringed instrument with 7 and later 10 strings traditionally associated with joy and gladness in worship [Psalm 33:2, 98:5] Then each one of the Elders also had a [3] phialas chrusas,  a golden fire-pan specifically designed to receive the sweet smelling frankincense which was lighted with coals from the brazen altar, where the sacrifice has just been presented in the outer court and then proceeded to offer it on the golden altar before the veil. Look at Luke 1:10, And the whole multitude of the people were praying outside at the hour of incense.) And they sang a new [1]song saying, "We proclaim your excellent worth! You are the only one in the universe entitled to open the scroll and break its seals, since you were slaughtered in sacrifice and [2]in your blood redeemed humanity's authentic identity [3] in GOD. You rescued them [4] from everything that could possibly define society before and brought them out of the confines of their dwarfed mindsets. This includes the entire spectrum of people-groupings: our [5]tribal identities, our [6]language-specific dialect preferences, our [7]political and religious associations, as well as every form of racial identity! ( An [1, G103] ode is a poem praising or glorifying an individual, describing their nature intellectually as well as emotionally. Greek odes were originally poetic pieces performed with musical accompaniment.

In the sentence, "in your blood" John uses the preposition [2] en, in. It is  used Hebraistically of the price; the value of the thing purchased being contained in the price. And redeemed [2] in GOD; - the Dative case points to location "in" [the words, too Theo, or to GOD, are most likely added by copyists - [Textual Commentaries]. Jesus said in Matthew 13:44, that the man who found the treasure in the agricultural field, sold all he had and bought the entire field! He did not buy from the thief - a thief never become owner; his priceless blood was shed to persuade humanity of their worth! Hebrews 6:16-17. The word, (G2248) hemas, "us" is not in the original text! Thus, we are not a select group of individuals that are redeemed; this is humanity redeemed out of whatever it was that defined them before! The preposition (G1537) ek, is used here; thus, [4] our of everything tribal, dialect-related, political etc...- [4]ek pases [5]phules kai [6]gloosses kai [7]laou kai [8]ethnous. The word, [5, G5443 from G5453] phule is from (G5453) phuo, to beget-tribe-immediate family-ties; blood relatives; [6, G1100] glossa, mother-tongue dialect; [7, G2992] laos, a people group, any specific segment of society; [8, G1484] ethnos, race; Hebrew goy, non-Jewish, in the racial Jewish mind it included the masses of the heathen nations.

Seven times society is addressed in the most all-inclusive fashion, with a like grouping of words for all humanity of all races and nations; - here in Rev. 5:9, then also in Rev. 7:9, 10:11, 11:9, 13:7, 14:6 and 17:15.) And you have made [1]them unto GOD a realm of royalty to reign upon the earth as priests! (Again, not, (G2248) ἡμᾶς, us; but (G846) αὐτός, them! Also, not, we shall reign (basileusomen), but basileuousin, (G936) they reign! They are the redeemed human race as a whole - redeemed to reign as kings and priests, after the order of Melchizedek! The Christ life rules! See Psalm 110:4 and Hebrews 7:14-24.) (The Mirror, with editing.)

Until our next visit the LORD willing may both you and yours find your defining moment in the LORD Christ.
