Post, The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 3, False Trusts .2

Like every thing else about mans spiritual reality he must be reminded  of this at every turn in life others wise he has a propensity to slide back to his old habits of sin. If his mind has not been renewed by GOD's Holy Spirit and the anointing that is Christ within his soul. Our next small topic deals with mans trust and need of financial recourse's as riches, a place and topic preached on by most religions as their own need before that of families.

The folly of Trusting in Riches,

Job 31:24-25, 28 of 24-28 "If I have made gold my trust or called fine gold my confidence, if I have rejoiced because my wealth was abundant or because my hand had found much, if I have looked at the sun when it shone, or the moon moving in splendor, and my heart has been secretly enticed, and my mouth has kissed my hand, this also would be an iniquity to be punished by the judges, for I would have been false to GOD, above all."

Psalm 52:7 of 5-7; Proverbs 11:28 of 20-31 "But God will break you down forever; HE will snatch and tear you from your tent; HE will uproot you from the land of the living. The righteous shall see and fear (though the judgments of GOD on others strike them with solemn awe and reverence), and shall laugh at him (the wicked), saying, "See the man who would not make God his refuge, but trusted in the abundance of his riches and sought refuge in his own destruction!"

Proverbs 11:26b, 28 of 20-31 "Those of crooked heart are an abomination to the LORD, but those of blameless ways are His delight. Be assured, an evil person will not go unpunished, but the offspring of the righteous will be delivered.(Deuteronomy 29:29's promise) Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman without discretion. The desire of the righteous ends only in good; the expectation of the wicked ends in wrath. One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered. The people curse him who holds back grain, but a blessing is on the head of him who sells it. Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it. Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf. Whoever troubles his own household will inherit the wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise of heart. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise. If the righteous is repaid on earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner!"

Proverbs 18:11 of 4-15 "The words of a man's mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook. It is not good to be partial to the wicked or to deprive the righteous of justice. A fool's lips walk into a fight, and his mouth invites a beating. A fool's mouth is his ruin, and his lips are a snare to his soul. The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels; they go down into the inner parts of the body. Whoever is slack in his work is a brother to him who destroys. The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. A rich man's wealth is his strong city, and like a high wall in his imagination. Before destruction a man's heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor. If one gives an answer before he hears, it is his folly and shame. A man's spirit will endure sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear it? An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before the great."

Mark 10:24 of 23-27 "Then Jesus looking around said to His disciples, 'How difficult it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!' The disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus said to them again, 'Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of GOD! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of GOD.' And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to Him, "Then who can be saved?" Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man it is impossible, but not with GOD. For all things are possible with GOD.'"

Luke 12:19-20 of 13-21 "Someone in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me." But He said to him, 'Man, who made Me a judge or arbitrator over you?' To this He said to them, 'Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.' Then He told them a parable, saying, 'The land of a rich man produced plentifully, and he thought to himself, 'What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?' And to this he said, 'I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, 'Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry. But GOD said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?' So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward GOD.'"

1Timothy 6:17 of 17-19, 20-21 "Instruct the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on GOD, Who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted in you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called "knowledge," for by professing it some have swerved from the faith. Grace be with you."
