The saga of "The Secret of GOD", taken from Romans 16, the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Here we are beginning chapter 16 and the acknowledgment of those who worked with Paul in his missionary out reach. And this we shall look at with little interruption. I will however include the narrative of the Mirror Study Bible that opens this chapter.

"The names of 37 individual believers are personally honored in this chapter of salutation. Seven home churches are also specifically mentioned, five in Rome and two in Corinth. Since Paul never visited Rome before, these people were all acquaintances, converts, fellow prisoners, or travel companions of his before they moved to Rome.
Since Prisca and Aquilla originally came from Rome (Acts 18:2, 26  and 1Corinthians 16:19), they possibly purposefully returned there to start or strengthen the Ekklesia together with a strong team of believers. Their strategy was to scatter several home-fellowships throughout the city. This is reflected in Paul's letter to the Corinthians where he says, "Our expectation is that as your faith increases, out field amongst you will be greatly enlarged so that we may preach the gospel also in lands beyond you." (2Corinthians 10:15-16)

Romans 16:1-2, 3-16 "I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.
Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus: Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ. Greet Mary, who bestowed much labour on us. Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord. Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved. Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus' household. Salute Herodion my kinsman. Greet them that be of the household of Narcissus, which are in the Lord. Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, which laboured much in the Lord. Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine. Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren which are with them. Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints which are with them. Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you." (KJV)

Romans 16:1-2, 3-16 "I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a servant of the church at Cenchreae, that you may welcome her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a patron of many and of myself as well.
Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks but all the churches of the Gentiles give thanks as well. Greet also the church in their house. Greet my beloved Epaenetus, who was the first convert to Christ in Asia. Greet Mary, who has worked hard for you. Greet Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen and my fellow prisoners. They are well known to the apostles, and they were in Christ before me. Greet Ampliatus, my beloved in the Lord. Greet Urbanus, our fellow worker in Christ, and my beloved Stachys. Greet Apelles, who is approved in Christ. Greet those who belong to the family of Aristobulus. Greet my kinsman Herodion. Greet those in the Lord who belong to the family of Narcissus. Greet those workers in the Lord, Tryphaena and Tryphosa. Greet the beloved Persis, who has worked hard in the Lord. Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord; also his mother, who has been a mother to me as well. Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers who are with them. Greet Philologus, Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you." (ESV)

Romans 16:1-2, 3-16 "I would like to introduce Pheobe to you, she is our sister and serves the Ekklesia in Corinth located in the port of Cenchreae. Welcome her with appropriate saintly hospitality in the LORD. Support her and her business in every possible way you can. I am one of many who have greatly benefited from her care and practical help.
Warmly embrace Prisca and Aquilla, my business partners in the LORD. They are respected in all the Gentile churches for their unselfish lives. They have risked their own necks for me. Salute the Ekklesia in their home. Give my dear friend Epaenetus a warm hug from me. He represents the whole of Asia to me since he was my first convert there. Miriam must also be mentioned; I remember how relentlessly she exhausted herself for others. Embrace my cousin Andronicus and June who were in prison with me. I hold them in high regard as ambassadors for Christ; they are my seniors in him. Hug Amliatus, my lovely friend in the LORD. Then there is Urbanos, my co-worker in Christ, as well as my dear friend Stachys. Acknowledge Apelles, a true veteran in Christ; honor the household of believers in the home of Aristobulus. Say a big hello to cousin Herodian; greet the believers in the Narcissus home. Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa whose work in the LORD bears testimony to their diligence; also my dear friend Persis who works so tirelessly. I also remember Rufus as an outstanding worker in the LORD, and salute his mother who has become a mother to me. I embrace Asyncritus, Phegon, Herman, Patroba, Hermes and all the family in fellowship with them. Warmly greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, as well as Olympas and all the Saints in their fellowship. Our friendship is sacred. The Ekklesia of Christ Jesus in Corinth salutes you." (The Mirror)

Now that we have covered the list of friends all of which were part of the functioning body of Christ in home Ekkleias. We shall, the LORD willing move on to the charge of Paul for their final instructions, which are also ours.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", taken from Romans 15.2, the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Finally closing in of chapter 15 of Romans where Paul speaks of his need to see the Romans yet one more time. It might do well to point out the use of our GOD given name that Paul himself uses on occasion, that being "Saints," hidden within the context of this area. Saint, meaning those who have identified with Christ's execution and resurrection now consider by GOD as his holy ones who walk in His righteousness or as the innocent ones. And this Not by some church or religions standards.

Romans 15:22-29, 30-33 "For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you. But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you; Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company. But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things. When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain. And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fullness[G4138] of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints; That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. Now the God of peace[G1515] be with you all. Amen." (KJV)

Romans 15:22-29, 30-33 "This is the reason why I have so often been hindered from coming to you. But now, since I no longer have any room for work in these regions, and since I have longed for many years to come to you, I hope to see you in passing as I go to Spain, and to be helped on my journey there by you, once I have enjoyed your company for a while. At present, however, I am going to Jerusalem bringing aid to the saints. For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem. For they were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material blessings. When therefore I have completed this and have delivered to them what has been collected, I will leave for Spain by way of you. I know that when I come to you I will come in the fullness [G4138] of the blessing of Christ.
I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints, so that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company. May the God of peace[G1515] be with you all. Amen." (ESV)

Romans 15:22-29, 30-33 "Now you know why it took me so long to finally get to you. There seems to be no more room for pioneering work in these regions, after these many years i can finally fulfill my dream. I purpose to journey all the way through Italy to Spain, but it is with great delight that i look forward to meeting with you first and enjoy a rich measure of fellowship that will again propel me onward. I am on my way to Jerusalem to encourage the Saints there. The believers in Greece, all the way from Macedonia as well as those in Achaia, have prepared a gift with great delight to bring relief to their Jewish Friends in Jerusalem who are struggling financially. They feel indebted to them since they share freely in their spiritual wealth. As soon as I have delivered their harvest officially, I will depart to Spain via you. I know that my coming to you will be like a cargo ship [1, G4138] filled to the brim with the blessing of everything that the Gospel of Christ communicates. ([1, G4138 from G4137 and G4134] pleroma means those things wherewith aship is filled, freight, merchandise,....and the like.)
Being co-identified with you as members of a godly family through our LORD Jesus Christ and feeling the same spiritual love-bond toward one another, we are prayer partners before GOD jioned in urgent passion. Laboring fervently in payer with me that i will be rescued from the unbelievers in Judea, and also that my service to the Saints in Jerusalem will be favorably received. Through the pleasure of GOD's purpose I will arrive in Rome in joy so that we may be mutually refreshed in one another's company. GOD who sustains us in oneness and [1, G1515] peace is with everyone of you. Amen." (The word, [1, G1515] eirene, means peace, and is from eiro, to join, to be set at one again, in carpentry it is the strongest joint, referred to as the dove-tail joint.) (The Mirror)

I might note that my Greek, Hebrew study Bible takes this word in a different direction, which is strife and it is written by a Hebrew scholar. Which goes to show us where his state of mind was.

Until our next post when we shall begin chapter 16 the LORD willing.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", taken from Romans 15.1, the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are now well into chapter 15 of Romans and about to pick back up where Paul explains that he is assigned the ministry to the Gentiles who before the Cross were discarded by the Jews as worthless and therefore treated by them and considered as dogs. But now he has a new vision because of the work done within him by GOD's own Spirit renewed, or awakened by GOD within him, man, that is to say all of humanity having been reconciled by the actions of the Cross, the pivotal turning point of human history. Where judgment took place and humanity was forever released from the chains of religions slavery of sins hold for eating of the fruit of the for bidden tree. This day also spoken of in Jewish Scriptures as the "Day of the LORD," now there remains yet another day when the hearts of all others will be judged not by man but rather the Son.

Romans 15:14-21 And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort [G575 G3313], as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles [G1484], ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God. For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. Yea, so have I strive to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation: But as it is written [by Isaiah in 52:15], "To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand." (KJV)

Romans 15:14-21 "I myself am satisfied about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness [G575 G3313], filled with all knowledge and able to instruct one another. But on some points I have written to you very boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles [G1484] in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to be proud of my work for God. For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience—by word and deed, by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God—so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ; And thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else's foundation, for as it is written [by Isaiah in 52:15], "Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand." (ESV)

Romans 15:14-21 "I am completely persuaded about you, Friends, that you are able to mutually instruct one another in the full measure of the knowledge of everything that is good in you. GOD's gift of Grace is the motivation of my writing to you; I urge you to remember your [1,G575 G3313]] allotted portion in life. (The word, [1, G3313] meros, means from or allotted portion; note the word translated as [G266 is from G264 with the base of G3313]"sin" is hameros, which means to be without form, without your allotted form or portion. Every sin springs thus from someone's sense of unfulfillment (involvement) and lack, due to their ignorance concerning those things which rightfully belong to them, their true spiritual identity, their redeemed innocence, and their participating in the Divine nature which is their inheritance of Christ.) It is because of Jesus Christ that I am in the people business. I occupy this priestly office representing the goodness of GOD to [1, G1484] the masses of humanity persuading them to see how presentable and approved they are to GOD in the Holy Spirit. (The word [1, G1484] ethnos, means the masses of non-Jewish people, gentiles.) Because of who I am in Christ Jesus, I have taken a bold stand before GOD. I could entertain you with all the details of my personal adventures, yet all I desire to communicate is how GOD actively workers Christ into my person through my words to grab the attention of the nations. The message is confirmed in every sign and miracle in the power of the Holy Spirit. Thus, I went full circle from Jerusalem to Illyricum proclaiming the glad tidings of Christ in its most complete context. (Taking Jerusalem as a center, Paul preached not only in Damascus and Arabia, but in Syria, in Asia Minor, in all of Greece, in the Grecian Islands, and in Thessaly and Macedonia. Illyricum was a country of Europe extending from the Adriatic Gulf to Pannonia; it extended from the river Arsia to the river Drinius thus including Liburnia on the west and Dalmatis on the est. It now froms part of Croatia, Bosnia, Istria, and Slavonia.) I have placed such fond value on the fact that I could pioneer the glad tidings in many of these areas without building on someone else's interpretation of Christ. Isaiah [in 52:15] prophesied that, "Those who have never been told about him, will be startled to see him clearly; even though they have never heard of him, they will understand his message." (The message of truth speaks a global language. Paul says that the open statement of the truth, which is the Word made flesh in us in the mirror reflection of Christ, appeals to everyone's conscience [2Corinthinas 4:2]. "Our lives are letters known and read by all." [2Corinthians 3:2]) (The Mirror)

And so we close for this post on that note. The LORD willing we shall close this book and chapter next time.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", taken from Romans 15, the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Here we are now in chapter 15 of our review of Romans and our comparison of the KJV, ESV and the new Mirror Study Bible and how their translators changed their language from the old Kings English of the King James to our every day common language. We shall continue to do so for the rest of our time together as i think that this will please the LORD, to do so. For He speaks to me in the language of the Bible that I am reading at the time by giving me passages as quotes or portions of the same. The area of 15 that we are about to enter has the following two headings in my study Bibles, the first is titled "Self-denial on Behalf of Other," the other states this, "The Example of Christ."

Romans 15:1-6 "We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written [in Psalm 69:9], "'The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.'" For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." (KJV)

Romans 15:1-6 "We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written [in Psalm 69:9], "'The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.'" For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." (ESV)

Romans 15:1-6 "We who are strong in faith are obliged to lift up those who are weak, to seek their advantage and not that of our own. We are to please others and consider their good and benefit. For Christ was not in it for himself, but for us. It is written about him [in Psalm 69:9], that he took the full blow of the reproach and insults directed at us. Whatever was written about him includes and represents us. We take instruction and encouragement from his patience, while Scripture is our close companion to remind us of our true spiritual identity. We anticipate the future with delight. GOD's patience and reflection of who we are transmits in us of like-mindedness towards one another according to this pattern of Christ en Jesus. The opinion of GOD, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, speaks one global language in us inspired by the same passion." (The Mirror)

Romans 15:7-13 "Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written [in 2Samuel 22:50, Psalm 18:49], "For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name." And again he saith [in Deuteronomy 32:43], "Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people." And again [in Psalm 117:1], "Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people." And again, Esaias saith [in 11:10], "There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust." Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." (KJV)

Romans 15:7-13 "Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. Rom 15:8 For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God's truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written [in 2Samuel 22:50, Psalm 18:49], "Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name." And again it is said [in Deuteronomy 32:43], "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people." And again [in Psalm 117:1], "Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples extol him." And again Isaiah says [in 11:10], "The root of Jesse will come, even he who arises to rule the Gentiles; in him will the Gentiles hope." May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." (ESV)

Romans 15:7-13 "This gives us all the more reason to embrace one another in friendship with the same warmth wherewith Christ embraces us into the welcome of GOD. I am convinced that the ministry of Jesus Christ is confirmation to the circumcised Jews of this truth of GOD's promises to their fathers. So also will the Gentile nations glorify GOD for his mercy towards them. David prophesied the resonance and echo of praise in the Gentile nations who would discover their true identity in his name. (look at Psalm 22:27) Again Scripture reveals in Deuteronomy 32:43 that the Gentiles will join in celebration as they too are co-revealed as his people. (Look at the text of Deuteronomy 32) Yet again in Psalm 117:1 the Gentiles are exhorted to give GOD praise and to join in the global applause of all the peoples of the earth. The Prophet Isaiah sees the root of Jesse who shall rise out of the ground where it was cut off, to reign over the Gentiles; he will win their trust. (in Isaiah 11:1, 10) GOD who is the engineer of expectation fills you to the brim with tranquil delight. The dynamic of the Holy Spirit causes faith to exceed any possible hesitation that is the hope in you." (The Mirror)

Next time we shall dig just a bit farther, the LORD willing.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", taken from Romans 14.2, the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are in Romans 14 and are about to begin with verse 13 but before doing so I want to repeat verse 12. As it reveals the next judgment seats action.

Romans 14:12 "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." (KJV)

Romans 14:12 "So then each of us will give an account of himself to God." (ESV)

Romans 14:12 "Thus the logic of GOD will find its personal expression in every person." (The Mirror)

Romans 14:13-23 "Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. Let not then your good be evil spoken of: For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin." (KJV)

Romans 14:13-23 "Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean. For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. By what you eat, do not destroy the one for whom Christ died. So do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. Do not, for the sake of food, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for anyone to make another stumble by what he eats. It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble. The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who has no reason to pass judgment on himself for what he approves. But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin." (ESV)

Romans 14:13-23 "There remains no further cause for judging anyone, rather determine that you will not allow suspicion or prejudice to snare your brother into a trap. I am completely persuaded that in the LORD Jesus nothing is unclean in itself; it only seems unclean in someone's own religious reasoning. But to walk in love is more important than to feed your appetite with your favorite food. Much rather lose out on a meal than lose a brother for whom Christ died. I mean Jesus sacrificed his flesh life; for you to sacrifice a meal is no big deal. Do not let your right to eat bring shame on Christ. GOD's royal dominion is not based on food and drink regulations, but righteousness, (likeness) friendship (peace) and joy in the Holy Spirit. This is definitely a win-win situation; GOD is pleased and people respect you. Pursue what ever promotes peace and mutual encouragement. Do not let a diet issue undo the work that GOD has done in someone's life. All foods are good in essence; it only becomes evil if someone causes or takes offense. For your brother's sake, in order not to offend or tempt his weakness, it is better to not eat meat or drink wine in his presence. At the end of the day, it is your own belief that matters most before GOD; do what your heart approves of without allowing guilt to interfere with your joy. Don't let principle and prejudice spoil your meal! Whatever is law-rather than faith-inspired is [1, G266] out of sync with the celebration of life! ("Whatever is not sourced in faith is sin,"  [1, G266 from G264 with the base of G3313] hamartia, a distorted from; out of sync.) (The Mirror)

Next we shall move into chapter 15 which brings us to faith, strong faith. Which we shall look at the LORD willing in next post.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", taken from Romans 14.1, the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Here we are at verse 10 of Romans 14 and we are still are looking at judging of each other from purely external and hear say opinions of the flesh for we do not have the internal looking ability of GOD. This shortcoming has caused humanity all kinds of problems for his history to the extent of causing wars between two arguing parties of nations and individuals.

Romans 14:10-12 "But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written [by Isaiah in 45:23], "'As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.'" So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." (KJV)

Romans 14:10-12 "Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written [by Isaiah in 45:23], "'As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.'" So then each of us will give an account of himself to God." (ESV)

Romans 14:10-12 "What qualifies you to to be your brother's [keeper and] judge? On what grounds do you condemn your brother? All of us stand in the footprint of Christ. (We are equally represented in him.) The Prophet recorded what he heard GOD say, "'My own life is the guarantee of my conviction, says, the LORD, every knee shall freely bow to me in worship, and every tongue shall spontaneously [1, G1843] speak with the same certainty mirrored in me!'" ( The word [1, G1843 from G1537 and G3004 with G3056] exomologeo, is from ek, the source, origin, and homo, the same and logeo, to speak, thus to speak from the same source, the same inspired persuasion, to fully agree! Paul, here quotes Isaiah 45:23, look also at 20, 22-23 "'Face me and be saved all the ends of the earth! [Note, 'Be saved!' Not 'become saved1'] I am GOD; your idols are figments of your invention and imagination1'" Isaiah 45:23 "'I have sworn by myself; the word of my mouth has begotten righteousness; this cannot be reversed!'" (Look at Romans 1:17. The Hebrew word [H3318] Yatsa can be translated, begotten like in Judges 8:30) "'Every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall echo my oath!'" ( Thus, speak with the same certainty sourced in me! The Hebrew word [H7650 from H7651], Shaba means to seven oneself, that is, to swear - thus in the Hebrew mind, by repeating a declaration seven times one brings an end to all dispute! Look at Hebrews 6:13-16, 17.) Also Philippians 2:10-11.
This echoes what John heard in Revelation 5:13, "Then I heard the voice of everything created in heaven, upon the earth, under the earth and in the sea, all living beings in the universe, and they were saying: "To Him who sits upon the Throne and to the Lamb, be praise and honor, glory and might, for timeless ages!" And in Colossains 1:15-17 we fine, "Now Christ is the visible expression of the invisible GOD. He existed before creation began, for it was through Him that everything was made, whether spiritual or material, seen or unseen. Through Him, and for Him, also were created power and dominion, ownership and authority. In fact, every single thing was created through, and for Him. He is both the first principle and the upholding principle of the whole scheme of creation... ." [Phillips] Colossians 1:20, "And GOD purposed through Him to reconcile the universe to Himself, making peace through His blood, which was shed upon the Cross, in order to reconcil to Himself through him all things on earth and in heaven. [Weymouth Translation] In Ephesians 1:9-10, "For GOD had allowed us to know the secret of His plan, and it is this: He purposed in His sovereign will that all human history shall be consummated in Christ, that everything that exists in heaven or earth shall find its perfection and fulfillment in Him." [Phillips Translation]) Thus the logic of GOD will find its personal expression in every person." (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", taken from Romans 14, the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

The day of Judgment of man has already taken place, what lies ahead is a second judgment of those who do not accept the first. This means those who have not clothed themselves in Christ as their new birth into their first innocence and this of GOD's doing. For this we shall look at mans "conscience" from our original identity restored or renewed, re-birthed, re-genesised by way of a death and this accomplished for all humanity in the humanity (human flesh) of Christ Jesus, an approved in the resurrect. A wise man said that as long as a person hangs onto the knowledge of good and evil only, that person tries to bring their self imposed shame and guilt upon an other person and in this way they both suffer. This is done when a person focuses on their slavery to sin as their only heritage, and not focusing instead on their freedom acquired in Christ's resurrection, a freedom (liberating them) that is theirs gift now.

Romans 14:1-4 "Him that is weak in the faith receive (G4355) ye, but not to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand." (KJV)

Romans 14:1-4 "As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome (G4355) him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand." (ESV)

Romans 14:1-4 "[1, G4355]Welcome those who are young in their faith with a warm hospitality. Avoid controversial conversation. ([1, G4355 from G4314 strengthened from G4253 and G2983] proslambano, to take somebody as one's companion.) One may feel free to eat anything, while another believes one should only eat vegetables. By having faith to eat anything does not qualify you to judge the one who abstains; GOD doesn't treat the vegetarian any differently. You are in no position to criticize the hospitality of GOD; He invites both to the same table and He is well capable to uphold and establish someone who still stumbles and seems weak in faith." (The Mirror)

Romans 14:5-9 "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living." (KJV)

Romans 14:5-9 "One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living." (ESV)

Romans 14:5-9 "One person may see more religious importance in some days while another values every day the same. Let everyone come to the full conclusion of what the day means in their own understanding. Whoever esteems the specific importance of a certain day does so to the LORD, so does he who values every day equally. One eats while another abstains; both honor GOD in gratitude. No one can live or die in isolation; our life and death touch others. Neither can our life or death distance us from Him; we remain His property. The death Jesus died and his resurrection and the conclusion of his life now in us is the only relevance of life and death." (The Mirror)

In our next visit we shall, the LORD willing, cover the next two sections of this chapter, though the beginning of 15 is part of the end of 14.
