Thessalonians part 67

Next is the teaching of lies as spoken of in Jeremiah 28, and I must stress that any slight falsehood is a lie. I say this because it has become commonpratice these days to accept even the smallest “white lie” and think nothing of it. But that is not so with GOD because HE tells us that HE will hold each of us accountable for the slightest lie. In Jeremiah 28 beginning at verse 10 through the end of this chapter is where we find this stated, “Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and broke it. And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus says the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way. Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus says the LORD; You have broken the yokes of wood; but you shall make for them yokes of iron. (This yoke is the added 613 man made additions to the Law of Moses dealing with all kinds of things meant to broaden Moses original Law. These have become a yoke of grievious wieght to heavy for any to bear.) For thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon (look at 27:6, today who is this king of Babylon, could it be those of Islam? They fit the bill.); and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also. (This is in direct opposition to what the falseprophet Hananiah said in verse 11) Then said the prophet Jeremiah to Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a lie. Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will cast you from off the face of the earth: this year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the LORD.

So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.”

There are many pretending to be true to this what did Jesus say? Looking in Matthew 7 beginning at verse 21 through the end of this chapter I'll break it down this way 21-23, 24-27, 28-29, “Not every one that says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the Will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name? and in Your name have cast out devils? and in Your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that hears these sayings of Mine, and does them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

It came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine: For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.”
