Thessalonians part 69

Seeing that the word prophet has to do with teaching and today there are also false teachers and pastors that are part of this outline under the same heading. And because these are men and women who are representatives of the kingdom of darkness and are under the covering of the fallen angels who masqerade as angels of light. When in fact there is no light in them, just as there is no truth in Satan, they are blemishes all the while sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with us.

This I will now cover by listing the charactistics of God's Grace: perverted in Galatians 1, offences and to avoid evils in Romans 16, Christ deniers in 2Peter 2, Truth resisted in 2Timothy 3, fable lovers in 2Timothy 4, destitute of the truth in 1Timothy 6, bound by traditions in Matthew 15, unstable in 1Timothy 1, cunningly deceptive in Ephesians 4, lustful in 2Peter 2. These have prevalence of in Paul's time in 2Timothy 1, during this age in 1Timothy 4, at Christ's return in 2Timothy 4. These are all driven on by a familar spirit as described as, source of defilement in Leviticus 19, *abominable in Deuteronomy 18, vain in Isaiah 8, selfish and greedy in Isaiah 56, unmindful of the folck in Ezekiel 34, even to driving the flock away in Acts 20. With those who practice such things are to be, cut off in Leviticus 20, put to death in Leviticus 20. There are many figure and illustrations given but here are only two: consulted by Saul in 1Samuel 28, and Manasah in 2Kings 21.

Grace perverted in Galatians 1 this is found beginning at verse 6 through the ned of verse 9 but here I will carry things a bit farther to the end of verse 12 here we find this, “I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the Grace of Christ to another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel to you than that you have received, let him be accursed.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

But I certify you, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

Many have exchanged the Gospel for offences and others to avoid evils in Romans 16 beginning at verse 17 through the end of verse 20 where we find this, “I beseech you, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.(these people distrust no one) For your obedience is come abroad to all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise to that which is good, and simple concerning evil. And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be [actively increasing] with you. Amen.”

There are many who have chosen to be Christ deniers in 2Peter 2 beginning at verse 1 through the end of verse 10 with this break down 1-3, 4-10, where this is stated, “There were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved to judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample to those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust to the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise [do not set their affections on the] government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.”
