Discovering the Great and Precious Promises of GOD (Divine Teacher)

I am still looking at Christ Jesus as our teacher of all things concerning Him Who was Is and Will Be again. It is in, when He Will be again, that most people get lost because they do not understand He is Now indwelling all who come to passion of His Divine revelation. As Promised of Him long ago. In fact there remain allot of denominational churches that do not teach Paul or touch on his mysteries because they remain hidden from them. It has been a long time now that I or my family have been in a congregational kind of church or even a Pentecostal church we just are not drawn to them any more. I have on occasion visited the word of faith kind but as a whole no more. Thou we keep asking where and when kind of questions of the LORD. He has us where He wonts us as He continues to teach within our own four walls, was the words that He used again a long time ago now. Now for Pastor Hoekstra and his writing on Grace our teacher. And then with the use of the ESV translation and the LORD should He give more insight as I am sharing the text from which the passages come I will look into the teaching of Christ.

"The Truth Promised to Set Us Free"

"If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:31-32)

"As we have seen, the Holy Spirit is promised as our guide us into all of the truths of GOD's word. "When He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all the truth" (John 16:13). A related promise assures us that this truth will have a liberating impact upon our lives. "The truth shall make you free." This promise of spiritual liberation through the truths of GOD's word is such a vital one for man, because various forms of spiritual bondage threaten us all.

Everyone needs liberation from bondage to sin. Those who first heard this promise of Jesus needed instruction on this. "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can you say, 'You will be made free'? Jesus answered them, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin' " (John 8:33-34). This "whoever" includes us all, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). However, we can all praise GOD that His liberating truth can set us free from satan's sin bondage to sin. All who trust in the Lord Jesus are justified from their sins (declared righteous in GOD's sight) through the Redemption price of the blood of Christ: "being justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that is ours in Christ Jesus, Whom GOD set forth to be a propitiation (satisfactory payment for satan's sin life within our flesh) by His blood, through faith" (Romans 3:24-25). Our absolute believing of Him Who promised, as Abraham and Isaac believed Him Who promised. I must add that both Abraham and Isaac were at that time gentiles are we are of the nations. For it was Moses under or in Jacobs heritage being called Israel that circumcision was first introduced.

The fear of death is another bondage from which people need liberation. Hebrews speaks of those "who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage" (Hebrews 2:15). What a tormenting bondage is the fear of death! Yet, Jesus' liberating truth can deal with this bondage as well. "I am the resurrection and the Life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in (this means en as being one with) Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25-26). All who believe the one Who is resurrection Life will live forever. Even if they should experience physical death, the grave has no grip on them. In fact, though their body may go into a tomb, they would go immediately into the presence of the LORD. "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord" (2Corinthians 5:8).

The Teaching of Christ (Christ's teaching):

Matthew 7:28-29 "When Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at His teaching, for He was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.

Mark 4:1-9 "Again Jesus began to teach beside the sea. And a very large crowd gathered about Him, so that He got into a boat and sat in it on the sea, and the whole crowd was beside the sea on the land. And He was teaching them many things in parables, and in His teaching He said to them:  "Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. As he sowed, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it. Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil, and immediately it sprang up, since it had no depth of soil. And when the sun rose, it was scorched, and since it had no root, it withered away. Other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no grain. And other seeds fell into good soil and produced grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold." And He said, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

John 7:14-18 "About the middle of the feast (of booths) Jesus went up into the temple and began teaching. The Jews therefore marveled, saying, "How is it that this man has learning, when He has never studied?" So Jesus answered them, "My teaching is not mine, but His Who sent Me. If anyone's will is to do GOD's Will, he will know whether the teaching is from GOD or whether I am speaking on My own authority. The one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but the one who seeks the glory of Him Who sent him is true, and in him there is no falsehood."

2John 7-11 "Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have GOD. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. (John 17) If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works."

I am leaving the New Testament to reveal this from the Old.
Hosea 14:9 "Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the LORD are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them."
