The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 10a x2

Continuing with the thought of 1Corinthians 2 verse 6 which states this from the ESV, "Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away." This area covers allot of ground and some including myself may not what is revealed in the following because it covers areas like, those devoted to utter destruction, spiritual immaturity, spiritual maturity, the larger life, and spiritual growth some of these we may have looked at before. But that being the cast here we go.

Devoted Things, devoted to utter destruction,

Deuteronomy 7:16, 17-26 "You will consume all the peoples that the LORD your God will give over to you. Your eye will not pity them, neither will you serve their gods, for that would be a snare to you.
"If you say in your heart, 'These nations are greater than I. How can I dispossess them?' you will not be afraid of them but you shall remember what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt, the great trials that your eyes saw, the signs, the wonders, the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, by which the LORD your God brought you out. So will the LORD your God do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid. Moreover, the LORD your God will send hornets among them, until those who are left and hide themselves from you are destroyed. You will not be in dread of them, for the LORD your God is in your midst, a great and awesome GOD. The LORD your God will clear away these nations before you little by little. You may not make an end of them at once, lest the wild beasts grow too numerous for you. But the LORD your God will give them over to you and throw them into great confusion, until they are destroyed. And He will give their kings into your hand, and you will make their name perish from under heaven. No one will be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them. The carved images of their gods you will burn with fire. You shall not covet the silver or the gold that is on them or take it for yourselves, lest you be ensnared by it, for it is an abomination to the LORD your God. And you will not bring an abominable thing into your house and become devoted to destruction like it. You will utterly detest and abhor it, for it is devoted to destruction."

Deuteronomy 13:12-18 "If you hear in one of your cities, which the LORD your God is giving you to dwell there, that certain worthless fellows have gone out among you and have drawn away the inhabitants of their city, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods,' which you have not known, then you shall inquire and make search and ask diligently. And behold, if it be true and certain that such an abomination has been done among you, you will surely put the inhabitants of that city to the sword, devoting it to destruction, all who are in it and its cattle, with the edge of the sword. You will gather all its spoil into the midst of its open square and burn the city and all its spoil with fire, as a whole burnt offering to the LORD your God. It will be a heap forever. It will not be built again. None of the devoted things shall stick to your hand, that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of His anger and show you mercy and have compassion on you and multiply you, as He swore to your fathers, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God, keeping all His commandments that I am commanding you today, and doing what is right in the sight of the LORD your God."

Joshua 6:15-21 "On the seventh day they rose early, at the dawn of day, and marched around the city in the same manner seven times. It was only on that day that they marched around the city seven times. And at the seventh time, when the priests had blown the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, "Shout, for the LORD has given you the city. And the city and all that is within it will be devoted to the LORD for destruction. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall live, because she hid the messengers whom we sent. But you, keep yourselves from the things devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted them you take any of the devoted things and make the camp of Israel a thing for destruction and bring trouble upon it. But all silver and gold, and every vessel of bronze and iron, are holy to the LORD; they will go into the treasury of the LORD." So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city. Then they devoted all in the city to destruction, both men and women, young and old, oxen, sheep, and donkeys, with the edge of the sword."

Joshua 7:1 "But the people of Israel broke faith in regard to the devoted things, for Achan the son of Carmi, son of Zabdi, son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of the devoted things. And the anger of the LORD burned against the people of Israel."

Joshua 7:10-15 "The LORD said to Joshua, "Get up! Why have you fallen on your face? Israel has sinned; they have transgressed My covenant that I commanded them; they have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen and lied and put them among their own belongings. Therefore the people of Israel cannot stand before their enemies. They turn their backs before their enemies, because they have become devoted for destruction. I will be with you no more, unless you destroy the devoted things from among you. Get up! Consecrate the people and say, 'Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow; for thus says the LORD, God of Israel, "There are devoted things in your midst, O Israel. You cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the devoted things from among you." In the morning therefore you will be brought near by your tribes. And the tribe that the LORD takes by lot will come near by clans. And the clan that the LORD takes will come near by households. And the household that the LORD takes will come near man by man. And he who is taken with the devoted things will be burned with fire, he and all that he has, because he has transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he has done an outrageous thing in Israel.'"

Isaiah 52:11-12 "Depart, depart, go out from there; touch no unclean thing; go out from the midst of her; purify yourselves, you who bear the vessels of the LORD. (Romans 12:1-2) For you shall not go out in haste, and you shall not go in flight, for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard."

Spiritual Immaturity;

Inability to Receive Strong Doctrine,

1Corinthians 3:1-4; 14:20 "But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way? For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not being merely human?"

1Corinthians 14:20-25 "Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature. In the Law it is written, "By people of strange tongues and by the lips of foreigners will I speak to this people, and even then they will not listen to me, says the Lord (Isaiah 28:11f)." Thus tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is a sign not for unbelievers but for believers. If, therefore, the whole church comes together and all speak in tongues, and outsiders [*verse 16 if you are blessed in the spirit, how will the one who fills the place of the ungifted, unversed in spirit say the "Amen"?] or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are out of your minds? But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or outsider [*] enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all, the secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, falling on his face, he will worship GOD and declare that GOD is really among you."

Necessity of Faith,

Galatians 4:1-7 "I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything, but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father. In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary [sin, being part of the natural way of life] principles of the world. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law [life's natural course], to redeem those who were under the [this way of natural life] law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, GOD sent the Spirit of His Son (Christ) into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God."

Continuance in the Primary Department,

Hebrews 5:9-10, 11-14 with 1Peter 2:2 "Being made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him (Deuteronomy 18:18-19), being designated by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.
About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he remains a child. For solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil."

1Peter 2:1-3 "Put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the LORD is good."

The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 10a x1

Continuing with our look into the hidden things of 1Corinthians 2:6-13's mystery being revealed to the mature in the wisdom of GOD hidden in Christ. As the very cause and purpose of this blog as the title states. Here again is the statement of 1Corinthians 2:6-13; "Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of GOD, which GOD decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the LORD of glory. For, it has been written and so it must be (from Isaiah 64:4, 65:17), "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what GOD has prepared for those who love [reverence and revere] Him"— these things GOD has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of GOD. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of GOD except the Spirit of GOD. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit Who is GOD, that we might understand the things freely given us by GOD. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual."
I am continuing with "divine counsels," that are immutable with the message spoken of by Jesus as the kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of GOD. And as highlighted above these things become real in the life of all receivers and not in those who profess a love for or a simple belief in the Lord Jesus who was the Christ, the agency of GOD in mans flesh, the first of the restoration through the will of GOD for all mankind of the nations. Now for the "Eternal Kingdom of God and Christ."

The Eternal Kingdom of God and Christ,

Isaiah 8:16-18, 19-9:4, 5-7 "Bind up the testimony; seal the teaching among My disciples. I will wait for the LORD, Who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in Him. Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given Me are signs and portents in Israel from the LORD of hosts, Who dwells on Mount Zion.
When they say to you, "Inquire of the mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter," should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living? To the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn in them. They will pass through the land, greatly distressed and hungry. And when they are hungry, they will be enraged and will speak contemptuously against their king and their God, and turn their faces upward. And they will look to the earth, but behold, distress and darkness, the gloom of anguish. And they will be thrust into thick darkness. "But there will [in the nations] be no gloom for her who was in anguish. In the former time He brought into contempt the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the latter time He has made glorious the way of the sea, the land beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations.
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone. You have multiplied the nation; You have increased its joy; they rejoice before You as with joy at the harvest, as they are glad when they divide the spoil. For the yoke of His burden, and the staff for His shoulder, the rod of His oppressor, You have broken as on the day of Midian.
For every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult and every garment rolled in blood will be burned as fuel for the fire. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder, and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this."

Daniel 2:36-45 with 4:3, 34, and 6:26 [the interpretation---Babylon the first kingdom] "This was the dream. Now we will tell the king its interpretation. You, O king, the king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the might, and the glory, and into whose hand He has given, wherever they dwell, the children of man, the beasts of the field, and the birds of the heavens, making you rule over them all—you are the head of gold.
[the Medo-Persia and Greece] Another kingdom inferior to you will arise after you, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which will rule over all the earth.
[that of Rome] And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these. And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it will be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron will be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.
[the Divine Kingdom] And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will this kingdom be left to another people. It will break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it will stand forever, just as you saw that a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. The great GOD has made known to the king what will be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure."

Daniel 4:1-3 "King Nebuchadnezzar to all peoples, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you! It has seemed good to me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High GOD has done for me. How great are His signs, how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion endures from generation to generation."

Daniel 4:34-37 "At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my [knowledge and] reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored Him Who lives forever, for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and He does according to His will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay His hand or say to Him, "What have you done?" At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and splendor returned to me. My counselors and my lords sought me, and I was established in my kingdom, and still more greatness was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are right and His ways are just; and those who walk in pride He is able to humble."

Daniel 6:25-27 "Then King Darius wrote to all the peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth: "Peace be multiplied to you. I make a decree, that in all my royal dominion people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel, for He is the living GOD, enduring forever; His kingdom will never be destroyed, and His dominion will be to the end. He delivers and rescues; He works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, He Who has saved Daniel from the power of the lions."

Daniel 7:13-18 with 7:27 and Micah 4:7 [the Son of Man Presented] "I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and He came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. And to Him was given dominion and glory and a [sovereign] kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him; His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away, and His kingdom one that will not be destroyed.
[the Vision Interpreted] "As for me, Daniel, my spirit within me was anxious, and the visions of my head alarmed me. I approached one of those who stood there and asked Him the truth concerning all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of the things. 'These four great beasts are four kings who will arise out of the earth. But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, forever and ever.'"

Daniel 7:23-27 "Thus he said: 'As for the fourth beast, there shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which will be different from all the kingdoms, and it will devour the whole earth, and trample it down, and break it to pieces. As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise, and another will arise after them; he will be different from the former ones, and will put down three kings. He will speak words against the Most High, and will wear out the saints of the Most High, and will think to change the times and the law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. But the court will sit in judgment, and his dominion will be taken away, to be consumed and destroyed to the end, forever. And the [sovereignty] kingdom (Isaiah 54:3, Daniel 7:14, 18, 22; Revelation 20:4) and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom (Psalm 145:13, Isaiah 9:7), and all dominions will serve and obey Him.'"

Micah 4:6-8 "In that day, declares the LORD, I will assemble the lame and gather those who have been driven away and those whom I have afflicted; and the lame I will make the remnant, and those who were cast off, a strong nation; and the LORD will reign over them in Mount Zion from this time forth and forevermore. And you, O tower of the flock, hill of the daughter of Zion, to you will it come, the former dominion will come back, kingship for the daughter of Jerusalem."

Luke 1:26-38 " In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin's name was [Miriam] Mary. And he came to her and said, "Greetings, O blessed one, the LORD is with you!" But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, [Miriam] Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, (Isaiah 7:14) you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the LORD God will give to him the throne of his father David (2Samuel 7:12-13, 16; Isaiah 9:7), and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end (2Samuel 7:13, 16, Psalm 2, 89:36-37, Daniel 2:44, 7:14, 18, 27)." And Mary said to the angel, "How will this be, since I am a virgin?" And the angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God. And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For nothing is impossible with GOD." And Mary said, "Behold, I am the servant of the LORD God; let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her."

2Peter 1:1-11" Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who have received faith of equal standing with ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: May His grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our LORD. For His divine power has been granted to us for all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him Who called us to His own glory and excellence, by which He has granted to us His precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins. Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ."

Revelation 11:15-18 "Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our LORD and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever." And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before GOD fell on their faces and worshiped GOD, saying, "We give thanks to you, LORD God Almighty, Who Is and Who was, for You have taken Your great power and begun to reign. The nations raged, but Your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding Your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear Your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth."

The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 10a

In the last blog I started to look into 1Corinthians 2:6-13 which states this, "Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the LORD of glory [one of His many titles revealed within the old witness of Him by the Law and Prophets, in which the Greek word of Grace is not known, but the Hebrew phrase "loving kindness," is]. But, as it is written (Isaiah 64:4, 65:17), "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual." In this we found a listing for "the mysteries of Christ," which we pulled together as they are interrelated.

This morning I shared this on my Face book page; No one of mankind can separate the Spirit which is the anointing from the person of flesh which is Jesus. Jesus represents the flesh of all of mankind in His humanity in which two seemingly different elements are combined to make one. It is this process that causes all to have sufferings of separation from the fallen self and union with Christ...GOD in man’s flesh again, the record of Acts 2 and thereafter. The world of darkness continues to deny and resist God in man’s rebellion following after the evil ones rebellion and darkness instead. Which is at the heart of the holy seasons of mankind’s rebellion that lay ahead, in the winter and spring solstice. It is in the first portion of this that I want our attention drawn. As the beginning of what I am looking at next under the heading of "the Mystery of Christ," in the following subtopics, "divine counsels immutable, and eternal kingdom of God and Christ." Now this may require another posting depending on length of and content of subject matter.

Divine Counsel, immutable,

Psalm 33:6-12 "By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host. He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; He puts the deeps in storehouses. Let all the earth fear [fearfully reverence] the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him! For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm. The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He frustrates the plans of the peoples. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom He has chosen as His heritage!"

Proverbs 19:17-23 "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will repay him for his deed. Discipline your son, for there is hope; do not set your heart on putting him to death. A man of great wrath will pay the penalty, for if you deliver him, you will only have to do it again. Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand. What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar. The fear [dread] of the LORD leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm."

Isaiah 14:3-27 "When the LORD has given you rest from your pain and turmoil and the hard service with which you were made to serve, you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: "How the oppressor has ceased, the insolent fury ceased! The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of rulers, that struck the peoples in wrath with unceasing blows, that ruled (this is past tense which means that this king still rules) the nations in anger with unrelenting persecution. The whole earth is at rest and quiet; they break forth into singing (not yet). The cypresses rejoice at you, the cedars of Lebanon, saying, 'Since you were laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us.' Sheol's beneath is stirred up to meet you when you come; it rouses the shades to greet you, all who were leaders of the earth; it raises from their thrones all who were kings of the nations. All of them will answer and say to you: 'You too have become as weak as we! You have become like us!' Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, the sound of your harps; maggots are laid as a bed beneath you, and worms are your covers. "How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn (folly and madness, Hebrew H1966 for Lucifer, the Babylon king)! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.' But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit. Those who see you will stare at you and ponder over you: 'Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world like a desert and overthrew its cities, who did not let his prisoners go home?' All the kings of the nations lie in glory, each in his own tomb; but you are cast out, away from your grave, like a loathed branch, clothed with the slain, those pierced by the sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a dead body trampled underfoot. You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, you have slain your people. "May the offspring of evildoers nevermore be named! Prepare slaughter for his sons because of the guilt of their fathers, lest they rise and possess the earth, and fill the face of the world with cities." "I will rise up against them," declares the LORD of hosts, "and will cut off from Babylon name and remnant, descendants and posterity," declares the LORD. "And I will make it a possession of the hedgehog, and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction," declares the LORD of hosts. The LORD of hosts has sworn: "As I have planned, so will it be, and as I have purposed, so will it stand, that I will break the Assyrian in My land, and on My mountains trample him underfoot; and his yoke will depart from them, and his burden from their shoulder." This is the purpose that is purposed concerning the whole earth, and this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations. For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?"

Isaiah 25:1-5 "O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt You; I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure. For You have made the city a heap, the fortified city a ruin; the foreigners' palace is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt. Therefore strong peoples will glorify You; cities of ruthless nations will fear You. For You have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall, like heat in a dry place. You subdue the noise of the foreigners; as heat by the shade of a cloud, so the song of the ruthless is put down."

Isaiah 46:8-11, 12-13 "Remember this and stand firm, recall it to mind, you transgressors, remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, 'My counsel will stand, and I will accomplish all My purpose,' calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of My counsel from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it. "Listen to Me, you stubborn of heart, you who are far from righteousness: I bring near My righteousness; it is not far off, and My salvation will not delay; I will put salvation in Zion, for the Israel of My glory."

Jeremiah 4:27-31 "For thus says the LORD, "The whole land will be a desolation; yet I will not make a full end. "For this the earth will mourn, and the heavens above be darkened; for I have spoken; I have purposed; I have not relented, nor will I turn back." At the noise of horseman and archer every city takes to flight; they enter thickets; they climb among rocks; all the cities are forsaken, and no man dwells in them. And you, O desolate one, what do you mean that you dress in scarlet, that you adorn yourself with ornaments of gold, that you enlarge your eyes with paint? In vain you beautify yourself. Your lovers despise you; they seek your life. For I heard a cry as of a woman in labor, anguish as of one giving birth to her first child, the cry of the daughter of Zion gasping for breath, stretching out her hands, "Woe is me! I am fainting before murderers."

Daniel 4:34-37 "At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I bless the Most High, and praised and honored Him Who lives forever, for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and He does according to His will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay His hand or say to Him, "What have You done?" At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and splendor returned to me. My counselors and my lords sought me, and I was established in my kingdom, and still more greatness was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are right and His ways are just; and those who walk in pride He is able to humble."

Acts 5:32, 33-40 (ESV) "And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, Whom GOD has given to those who obey Him." When they heard this, they were enraged and wanted to kill them. But a Pharisee in the council named Gamaliel, a teacher of the Law held in honor by all the people, stood up and gave orders to put the men outside for a little while. And he said to them, "Men of Israel, take care what you are about to do with these men. For before these days Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody, and a number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was killed, and all who followed him were dispersed and came to nothing. After him Judas the Galilean rose up in the days of the census and drew away some of the people after him. He too perished, and all who followed him were scattered. So in the present case I tell you, keep away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or this undertaking is of man, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!" So they took his advice, and when they had called in the apostles, they beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go."

Ephesians 1:3-14 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will, to the praise of His glorious grace, with which He has blessed with the Beloved. For it is In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His purpose, which He set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth. For it is In Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him Who works all things according to the counsel of His will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of His glory."

Hebrew 6:13-20 "For when God made a promise to Abraham, since He had no one greater by whom to swear, He swore by Himself, saying, "Surely I will bless you and multiply you." (Genesis 22:16, 22:17) And thus Abraham, having patiently waited, obtained the promise. (Genesis 12:4, 21:5)
Heb 6:16 For people swear by something greater than themselves, and in all their disputes an oath is final for confirmation. (Exodus 22:11) So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of His purpose, He guaranteed it with an oath, (Psalm 110:4, Proverbs 19:21) so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. (Numbers 23:19) We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, (Psalm 39:7, 62:5; Acts 23:6) where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek." (Psalm 110:4)

The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 10

In part ten I will endeavor to look into the mystery of Christ as it is spoken in 1Corinthians 2:1-5, 6-13, 14 where we find this statement; "And I, Paul, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony [witness] of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And as I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of (miraculous) power, so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power (miracle) of GOD.
Yet among the mature [perfect] we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age [worldly, demonic], who are doomed to pass away. For we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages [messianic eternal law] for our glory. None of the rulers of this age [world being demonic] understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the LORD of glory. But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him (Isaiah 64:4, 65:17)"— these things God has revealed to us through His Spirit. For His Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit [be it an evil spirit or a renewed, restored spirit] of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world [demoniacal], but the Spirit Who is from God [the anointing, this is to say Christ], that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.
The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."

With this said there are other areas in Paul's writings in which he repeats much of what is here stated and like the other mysteries all are interrelated to the Spirit of God that is to say the anointing, Christ.

The Mystery of Christ, and redemption,

Romans 16:25-27 "Now to Him Who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen."

1Corinthians 2:6-13 "Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. [For] But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual."

Ephesians 1:3-14 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will, to the praise of His glorious grace, with which He has blessed us in the Beloved. For In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He lavishes upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of His [plan and purpose of] will, according to His purpose, which He set forth as [en] Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth. In Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him Who works all things according to the counsel of His will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of His glory. For In Him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed Him, we were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of His glory."

Ephesians 3:4-13 "When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promises in Christ Jesus through the gospel. Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God's grace, which was given me by the working of His power. To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given me, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God Who created all things, so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was according to the eternal purpose that He has realized in Christ Jesus our LORD, in Whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him. So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory."

Colossians 1:24-2:5  "Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of His body, that is, the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to His saints. To them God has chosen to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature [perfected] in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all His energy that He powerfully works within me. For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea and for all who have not seen me face to face, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ, in Whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I say this in order that no one may delude you with plausible arguments. For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ."

Colossians 4:2-4 "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak."

1Timothy 3:14-16 "I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living GOD, a pillar and buttress of the truth. Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory."

The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 9f

And again we are in Romans 16:25-27 where we find this; "Now to Him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ!" Now here is my question and dilemma, just what is the Gospel? Many will answer with, "it is the good news," but then over the past almost 2000 years, now, and many translations of man of the scriptures, I am sure that much has been lost in the process, as not all were under the influence of the Holy Spirit while writing or rewriting the translations. Now there are millions who swear that the "King James" is the "only Bible," and is accurate to the last word, jot or title, I think not so. For do we still use the King James language to day? NO! Much of it has been lost due to time and the lost meanings of the old world English words and phrases used. So what is the Gospel? John Gill has this to say, "and the preaching of Jesus Christ: being that Gospel which Jesus Christ Himself preached, for which He was anointed and sent, and which first began to be spoken by Him in its power and purity, and in such a manner as it never was before or since: and of which He also is the subject; it treats of His person, offices, righteousness, blood, sacrifice, redemption and salvation; and which when preached aright is done in His name, by His authority, through gifts, grace, and strength received from Him, and with a view to His glory: it follows as a further explanation of it."
Now here is what Adam Clark has to say about the Gospel, "According to my Gospel - That Gospel which explains and publishes God’s purpose of taking the Gentiles to be His people under the Messiah, without subjecting them to the Law of Moses. This is what Paul here calls the preaching of Jesus Christ; for without this he did not think, as Mr. Locke observes, that Christ was preached to the Gentiles as He ought to be; and therefore in several places of his epistle to the Galatians he calls it the truth, and the truth of the Gospel, and uses the like expressions to the Ephesians and Colossians. This is that mystery which he is so much concerned that the Ephesians should understand and adhere to firmly, and which was revealed to him according to that Gospel whereof he was made a minister. And it is probable that this grand mystery of bringing the Gentiles into the kingdom of God, without passing through the rites of the Mosaic Law, was revealed more particularly to Paul than to any other of the apostles, and that he preached it more pointedly, and certainly with more success. See Taylor and Locke."
So what were the prophecies related to this Gospel? This is where I will start from in today's blog.

Prophecies Relating to the Gospel,

Deuteronomy 18:17-18, 20 "The LORD said to me, 'They are right in what they have spoken. I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. And whoever will not listen to My words that he shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him.
But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.'"

Isaiah 2:2-4 "It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it, and many peoples shall come, and say: "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go the law [instruction], and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore."

Isaiah 29:17-21 "Is it not yet a very little while until Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be regarded as a forest? In that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see. The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the LORD, and the poor among mankind shall exult in the Holy One of Israel. For the ruthless shall come to nothing and the scoffer cease, and all who watch to do evil shall be cut off, who by a word make a man out to be an offender, and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, and with an empty plea turn aside him who is in the right."

Isaiah 52:3-6, 7-10 "Thus says the LORD: "You were sold for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money." For thus says the Lord GOD: "My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing. Now therefore what have I here," declares the LORD, "seeing that My people are taken away for nothing? Their rulers wail," declares the LORD, "and continually all the day My name is despised. Therefore My people shall know My name. Therefore in that day they shall know that it is I who speak; here I am."
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns." The voice of your watchmen—they lift up their voice; together they sing for joy; for eye to eye they see the return of the LORD to Zion. Break forth together into singing, you waste places of Jerusalem, for the LORD has comforted His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem. The LORD has bared His holy arm before the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God."

Isaiah 61:1-3 "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified."

Matthew 24:9-14 (Jesus is speaking) "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

Romans remains a mystery book to many people even still to this very day, because they over look a simple phrase within it which is spoken of in chapters 9 and 11. This simple phrases is "prepared of God" which may not be expressed in this fashion as we have already seen in this blog. The Thayer's Dictionary states this about "prepared:" Strong's G2090: to prepare the minds of men to give the Messiah a fit reception and secure his blessings. Now I am given to say that John the Baptist used this phrase to describe his activities. Now as we have seen the law is the path one is to take in life's journey, meaning that we are mature before God. Where we see God in everything be it bad or good for HE is in all things. Within the scriptures we find junction with God through Christ as typified by Jesus and His life walk. Since creation man has been a vessel in which Divine Deity is meant to dwell.

The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 9e

Carrying on with my look into Romans 16:25-27 and the hidden subjects contained therein. My next subject of interest is part of the promises covered earlier dealing with the "wisdom of God," my next one is "divine knowledge." What follows with this is mans heart being searched out by God, which I, the LORD willing will look at later on.

Divine Knowledge,

1Samuel 2:1-10 with Psalm 69:5 and 139:2 "And Hannah prayed and said, "My heart exults in the LORD; my horn is exalted in the LORD. My mouth derides my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation. "There is none holy like the LORD: for there is none besides You; there is no rock like our God. Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth; for the LORD is a GOD of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed. The bows of the mighty are broken, but the feeble bind on strength. Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread, but those who were hungry have ceased to hunger. The barren has borne seven, but she who has many children is forlorn. The LORD kills and brings to life; He brings down to Sheol and raises up. The LORD makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and He exalts. He raises up the poor from the dust; He lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and on them He has set the world. "He will guard the feet of His faithful ones, but the wicked will be cut off in darkness, for not by might will a man prevail. The adversaries of the LORD will be broken to pieces; against them He will thunder in heaven. The LORD will judge the ends of the earth; He will give strength to His king and exalt the horn (strength) of His anointed (this is to say His Messiah-Christ)."

Psalm 69:5-12 "O God, You know my folly; the wrongs I have done are not hidden from You. Let not those who hope in You be put to shame through me, O Lord GOD (YHWH, usually rendered LORD) of hosts; let not those who seek You be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel. For it is for Your sake that I have borne reproach, that dishonor has covered my face. I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother's sons. For zeal for Your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me. When I wept and humbled my soul with fasting, it became my reproach. When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them. I am the talk of those who sit in the gate, and the drunkards make songs about me."

Psalm 139:1-6 "O LORD, You have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, You know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it."

Isaiah 40:27-31 "Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is disregarded by my God"? Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting GOD, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD will be renewed in their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not faint."

Daniel 2:17-23 "Then Daniel went to his house and made the matter known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions, and told them to seek mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that Daniel and his companions might not be destroyed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered and said: "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what is in [done by evil men in] the darkness, and the light dwells with Him. To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for You have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of You, for You have made known to us the king's matter."

Matthew 6:7-8 (Jesus is speaking) "And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases (meaningless repetitions) as the [Jewish elites and] Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him."

1Corinthians 3:18-23 with 1John 3:20 "Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is folly [vain] with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their craftiness," (Job 5:13) and again, "The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile (vanity and vain)." (Psalm 94:11) So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's."

1John 3:13-22 "Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you. We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. By this we know love, that He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. For if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. By this we will know that we are of the truth and are reassured in heart before Him; for whenever our heart condemns us, GOD is greater than our heart, and He knows everything. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do what pleases Him."

The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 9d

Continuing with Romans 16:25-27 and the "Strange Providences of GOD, and Divine Ways" which as stated elsewhere is hidden within the text of this scripture, revealed by the Holy Spirit to the heirs of salvation. Many have been lead astray by the misdirection of such terms as dispensation, predestination, foreknowledge and other terms and phrases of Jewish origin.

Strange Providences,

Isaiah 55:6-13 "Seek the LORD while HE may be found; call upon Him while HE is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that HE may have compassion on him, and to our God, for HE will abundantly pardon. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so will My word be that goes out from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish that which I purpose, and will succeed in the thing for which I sent it. "For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn bush shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier bushes shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a transformation of the name [a memorial] of the LORD, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off."

Luke 1:1-7, 2:1-7 "Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us, just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word have delivered them to us, it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught...... In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. And all went to be registered, each to his own town. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn."

Acts 7:2-8 "Stephen said: "Brothers and fathers, hear me. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran, and said to him, 'Go out from your land and from your kindred and go into the land that I will show you.' (Genesis 12:1) Then he went out from the land of the Chaldeans and lived in Haran. And after his father died, God removed him from there into this land in which you are now living. Yet HE gave him no inheritance in it, not even a foot's length, but promised to give it to him as a possession and to his offspring after him, though he had no child. (Genesis 12:7, 13:15, 15:18, 17:8) And God spoke to this effect—that his offspring would be sojourners in a land belonging to others, who would enslave them and afflict them four hundred years. 'But I will judge the nation that they serve,' (Genesis 15:13-14) said God, 'and after that they will come out and worship Me in this place.' (Exodus 3:12) And HE gave him the covenant of circumcision. And so Abraham became the father of Isaac, and circumcised him on the eighth day, and Isaac became the father of Jacob, and Jacob of the twelve patriarchs."

Acts 16:16-18, 19-24 "It happened as we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and us, crying out, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation." This she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her." And it came out that very hour.
But when her owners saw that their hope of gain was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace before the rulers. And when they had brought them to the magistrates, they said, "These men are Jews, and they are disturbing our city. They advocate customs that are not lawful for us as Romans to accept or practice." The crowd joined in attacking them, and the magistrates tore the garments off them and gave orders to beat them with rods. And when they had inflicted many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, ordering the jailer to keep them safely. Having received this order, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks."

Romans 11:33-36 "Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of GOD! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways! (Job 5:9, 11:7, 15:8) "For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?" (Isaiah 40:13f,) "Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?" (Job 35:7, 41:11) For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever the eternal Amen."

Divine Ways,

Psalm 18:30-36 "This God—His way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him. For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?— the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless. He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have given me the shield of Your salvation, and Your right hand supports me, and Your gentleness make me great. You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip."

Psalm 145:17-21 "The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His works. The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear Him; He also hears their cry and saves them. The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and let all flesh bless His holy name forever and ever."

"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so will My word be that goes out from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish that which I purpose, and will succeed in the thing for which I send it. "For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and the transformation of it will make a name for the LORD, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off."

Daniel 4:34-37 "At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored Him who lives forever, for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and HE does according to His will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay His hand or say to Him, "What have you done?" At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and splendor returned to me. My counselors and my lords sought me, and I was established in my kingdom, and still more greatness was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are right and His ways are just; and those who walk in pride He is able to humble."

Hoses 14:8-9 "O Ephraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress; from Me comes your fruit. Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the LORD are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them."

Habakkuk 3:3-7 "God came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His splendor covered the heavens, and the earth is full of His praise. His brightness is the light; rays flashed from His hand; and there HE veiled His power. Before Him went pestilence, and plague followed at His heels. He stood and measured the earth; HE looked and shook the nations; then the eternal mountains were scattered; the everlasting hills sank low. His are the everlasting ways. I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble."

Romans 11:33-36 "Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways! (Job 5:9, 11:7, 15:8) "For who has known the mind of the LORD, or who has been His counselor?" (Isaiah 40:13-14) "Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?" (Job 35:7, 41:11) For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever, Who is the eternal Amen."

Revelation 15:2-4 "I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands. And they sing the song of Moses, (Exodus 15:1ff) the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and amazing are Your deeds, (Deuteronomy 32:3f, Psalm 111:2, 139:14) O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the [ages] nations! (Hosea 14:9) Who will not fear, O LORD, and glorify Your name? (Jeremiah 10:7) For You alone are holy. All nations will come and worship You, for Your [judgments] righteous acts have been revealed." (Psalm 86:9, Isaiah 66:23)

The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 9c

I am still on Romans 19:25-27 and the hidden things in this passage. Today I want to look at the message of the Gospel as required for redemption's salvation. Many think of Salvation being tied to 1Corinthinans chapter 15 with the removal of those in GODS kingdom, Now. But is all actuality our salvation is a growing in the true knowledge of GOD as Christ in the Emmanuel of Messiah. The encrypted message, like that of the term LORD is also an encrypted message. There are many who through a hardness (enmity) of heart rely on mans religions deceptiveness for their salvation by a blending of two into one, ie. redemption and salvation. A reversal of the term Benamine and Benjamin. Now for the "Gospel." But first a look again at Deuteronomy 18:17-20 which states this; "The LORD said to me (Moses), 'They are right in what they have spoken. I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put My words in His mouth, and He will speak to them all that I command Him. And whoever will not listen to My words that He will speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him. But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.'" I will let this speak for itself, as has become my norm of practice.

The Gospel, in general references to,

Matthew 4:23 "Jesus went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people."

Acts 20:17-24, 31-32 "Now from Miletus Paul sent to Ephesus and called the elders of the church to come to him. And when they came to him, he said to them: "You yourselves know how I lived among you the whole time from the first day that I set foot in Asia, serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials that happened to me through the plots of the Jews; how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house, testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. (in both the words and finished work of Christ in you) And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and afflictions await me. For I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears. And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified."

1Corinthians 9:8-15 "Do I (Paul) say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? For it is written in the Law of Moses, "You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain." (Deuteronomy 25:4) Is it for oxen that God is concerned? Does He not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than putting an obstacle in the way of the gospel of [that is] Christ. Do you not know that those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the (His) gospel should get their living by the gospel. For I have made no use of any of these rights, nor am I writing these things to secure any such provision. For I would rather die than have anyone deprive me of my ground for boasting."

2Corinthians 3:2-6; 4:1-6 "You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. (3:6; Proverbs 3:3, 7:3, Jeremiah 17:1, 31:33, Ezekiel 11:19, 36:26) And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living GOD, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from GOD, Who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. "Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as LORD, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For it is GOD, Who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," (Genesis 1:3) has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of GOD in the face of Jesus Christ."

Ephesians 6:18-20 "Through praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak."

Philippians 1:21-26, 27-30 "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account. I am convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith, so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the (His) gospel, and be not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God. For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe Him but also suffer for His sake, engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have."

1Thessalonians 1:2-10 "We give thanks to GOD always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our GOD and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers loved by God, that HE has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. You know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake. And you became imitators of us and of the LORD, for you received the word in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit, so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia. For not only has the word of the LORD sounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in GOD has gone forth everywhere, so that we need not say anything. For they themselves report concerning us the kind of reception we had among you, and how you turned to GOD from idols to serve the living and true GOD, and to wait for His Son from heaven, Whom HE raised from the dead, Jesus Who delivers us from the wrath to come."

2Thessalonians 1:2-12 "Grace to you and peace from GOD our Father, Father of spirits and the LORD in the Lord Jesus Christ. We ought always to give thanks to GOD for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring. This is evidence of the righteous judgment of GOD, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering—since indeed GOD considers it just to repay with affliction (Exodus 23:22, Deuteronomy 10:17; Colossians 3:22-25) those who afflict you, and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know (acknowledge) GOD and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the LORD and from the glory of His might, when HE comes on that day to be glorified in His saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed. To this end we always pray for you, that our GOD may make you worthy of His calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by His power (within you), so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our GOD and the LORD that is Jesus Christ."

The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 9b x1

We are still in Romans 16:25-27 and the hidden things of scripture of Deuteronomy 18:18-19, 29:29 and the mysteries spoken of by the Lord Jesus and by Paul. Today's blog deals with "gain through loss." This being a key subject of the Lord Jesus.

Gain Through Loss;

Loss of Earthy Treasures secures Spiritual Treasures,

Matthew 19:16-22 "And behold, a man came up to Jesus, saying, "Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?" And He said to him, "Why do you ask Me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments." To this he said to Him, "Which ones?" And Jesus said, "You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, honor your father and mother, and, you shall love your neighbor as yourself." To this the young man said to Him, "All these I have kept. What do I still lack?" Jesus said to him, "If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions."

Self-sacrifice a Paying Investment,

Matthew 19:27-30 "Peter said in reply, "See, we have left everything and followed You. What then will we have?" Jesus said to them, "Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first."

A Spiritual Paradox,

Mark 8:34-38 "Calling the crowd to Him with His disciples, Jesus said to them, "If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."

Humility leads to Exaltation,

Mark 9:33-37 "When Jesus came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house He asked them, "What were you discussing on the way?" But they kept silent, for on the way they had argued with one another about who was the greatest. When Jesus sat down He called the twelve. And said to them, "If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all." And He took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in His arms, He said to them, "Whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him Who sent Me."

Life comes out of Death,

John 12:20-26 "Now among those who went up to worship at the feast of Passover, were some Greeks. So these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus." Philip went and told Andrew; Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus. And Jesus answered them, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, he must follow (a position of union with) Me; and where I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him."

Paul gave up All, and won the Great Prize,

Philippians 3:2-11 "Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh. For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh— though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If anyone else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to righteousness under the Law, blameless. But whatever gain I had, I count as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my LORD. For Hhis sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ  and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the Law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from GOD that depends on faith— that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and may share His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead."

The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 9b

Continuing with Romans 16:25-27 which may have overlapping references to other mysteries spoken of by Paul because many are interrelated and each builds on the other. Now building on that which was foreordained, known as the plan and purpose of GOD held in reserve for the heirs of promise. Now for GOD's wisdom and then the fuller revelation and possibly gain through loss.

GOD's Wisdom,

Job 12:13-25 "With God are wisdom and might; He has counsel and understanding. If He tears down, none can rebuild; if He shuts a man in, none can open. If He withholds the waters, they dry up; if He sends them out, they overwhelm the land. With Him are strength and sound wisdom; the deceived and the deceiver are His alike. He leads counselors away stripped, and judges He makes fools. He looses the bonds of kings and binds a waistcloth on their hips. He leads priests away stripped and overthrows the mighty. He deprives of speech those who are trusted and takes away the discernment of the elders. He pours contempt on princes and loosens the belt of the strong. He uncovers the deeps out of darkness and brings deep darkness to light. He makes nations great, and He destroys them; He enlarges nations, and leads them away. He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth and makes them wander in a trackless waste. They grope in the dark without light, and He makes them stagger like a drunken man."

Psalm 104:24-26 "O LORD, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom have You made them all; the earth is full of Your creatures. Here is the sea, great and wide, which teems with creatures innumerable, living things both small and great. There go the ships, and Leviathan, which You formed to play in it."

Proverbs 3:13-26 with Jeremiah 10:7 "Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed. The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens; by His knowledge the deeps broke open, and the clouds drop down the dew. My son, do not lose sight of these— keep sound wisdom and discretion, for they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck. Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble. If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes, for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught."

Jeremiah 10:6-10 "There is none like You, O LORD; You are great, and Your name is great in might. Who would not fear (in dread reverence) You, O King of the nations? For this is Your due; for among all the wise ones of the nations and in all their kingdoms there is none like You. They are both stupid and foolish; the instruction of idols is but wood! Beaten silver is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz. They are the work of the craftsman and of the hands of the goldsmith; their clothing is violet and purple; they are all the work of skilled men. But the LORD is the true GOD; HE is the living GOD and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure His indignation."

He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him. To You, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for You have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of You, for You have made known to us the king's matter."

Romans 11:33 with 16:27 "Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of GOD! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways! "For who has known the mind of the LORD, or who has been His counselor?" (Isaiah 40:13f) "Or who has given a gift to Him that He might be repaid?" (Job 35:7, 41:11) For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen."

The Amen."

1Corinthians 1:18-25 "For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of GOD. For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart." (Isaiah 29:14) Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since, in the wisdom of GOD, the world did not know GOD through wisdom, it pleased GOD through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of GOD and the wisdom of GOD. For the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men, and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men."

True Wisdom, some erences;

The Fear (reverence and awe) of GOD Constitutes,

Job 28:23-28 "God understands the way to it, and He knows its place. For He looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens. When He gave to the wind its weight and apportioned the waters by measure, when He made a decree for the rain and a way for the lightning of the thunder, then He saw it and declared it; He established it, and searched it out. And He said to man, 'Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.'"

Experience Augments,

Job 32:6-10 with Psalm 111:10 and Proverbs 1:20 "And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said: "I am young in years, and you are aged; therefore I was timid and afraid to declare my opinion to you. I said, 'Let days speak, and many years teach wisdom.' For it is the spirit in man, that is the breath of the Almighty, that makes him understand. It is not the old who are wise, nor the aged who understand what is right. Therefore I say, 'Listen to me; let me also declare my opinion.'"

Psalm 111:7 "The works of His hands are faithful and just; all His precepts are trustworthy; they are established forever and ever, to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness. He sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever. Holy and awesome is His name! The fear (dread) of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!"

Proverbs 1:20-33 "Wisdom cries aloud in the street, in the markets she raises her voice; at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks: "How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge? If you turn at My reproof, behold, I will pour out My spirit to you; I will make My words known to you. Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out My hand and no one has heeded, because you have ignored all My counsel and would have none of My reproof, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when terror strikes you, when terror strikes you like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you. Then they will call upon Me, but I will not answer; they will seek Me diligently but will not find Me. Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear (dread) of the LORD, would have none of My counsel and despised all My reproof, therefore they will eat the fruit of their way, and have their fill of their own devices. For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacency of fools destroys them; but whoever listens to Me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster."

The Supreme Acquisition,

Proverbs 4:1-9 and 9:1 "Hear, O sons, a father's instruction, and be attentive, that you may gain insight, for I give you good precepts; do not forsake my (law) teaching. When I was a son with my father, tender, the only one in the sight of my mother, he taught me and said to me, "Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. She will place on your head a graceful garland; she will bestow on you a beautiful crown."

Proverbs 9:1-6 "Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn her seven pillars. She has slaughtered her beasts; she has mixed her wine; she has also set her table. She has sent out her young women to call from the highest places in the town, "Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!" To him who lacks sense she says, "Come, eat of my bread and drink of the wine I have mixed. Leave your simple ways, and live, and walk in the way of insight."

Apprehends Divine Truth,

Hosea 14:9 "Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the LORD are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them."

Lays an Immovable Foundation,

Matthew 7:24-27 with 1Corinthians 2:6, 12:8 (Jesus is speaking) "Everyone then who hears these words of Mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."

1Corinthians 2:6-13 "Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. For we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of GOD, which GOD decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him (Isaiah 64:4, 65:17)"— these things God has revealed to us through His Spirit.

1Corinthians 12:4-11 "Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same (Lord) LORD; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same GOD Who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, Who apportions to each one individually as He wills."

The Scriptures, the Source of,

2Timothy 3:10-4:5 "You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness, my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra—which persecutions I endured; yet from them all the LORD rescued me. Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. As for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through the faith of Christ in Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by GOD and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, Who is the judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."

Full of Spiritual Fruits,

James 3:13-18 with 1John 2:20 "Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. For the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace."

1John 2:18-25 "Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us. For you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is [the agent of] the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that HE Himself made to us—eternal life."
