The Secrets and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 9

Here we are now some 6000 plus (2000years from creation to Israel 2000 plus years with all things Israel, which includes the synoptic gospels) years from creation and almost 2000 from the giving of the Spirit of GOD to mankind (order in Acts 2) which took place about 30 years after the introduction of John the baptist and the baptism of Jesus. We are about to look at Romans chapter 16 and the mystery of Christ spoken of there. Of all the new witness books which compose the New Testament Romans is by far the most note worthy. We are in the process of what verse 20 of 16 speaks of which is this, "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you." This is born out in the Revelation of Christ in John's many visions of Revelation. It has been my goal to bring GODS Light and Truth to all who find and read this blog from beginning to its appointed end, which date I am not at this time aware of. For all reveals the deep things of GOD in Christ and as Christ in Jesus. Okay Romans 16: 25-27, the ending of Romans which states this in the ESV; "Now to Him Who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal GOD, to bring about the obedience of faith— to the only wise GOD be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Be The Amen." Like those mysteries that we have already looked into much of this will be repetition, as we have touched on it while examining those of the past and will again as we retrace of steps of the past years. Some areas of review are, GOD's Power, Preaching, Mystery of Christ, Secret Things, gospel universal, faith enjoined, GOD's Wisdom, and our glorifying GOD.

GOD's Power, some general references to,

1Chronicles 29:10-13 "Therefore David blessed the LORD in the presence of all the assembly. And David said: "Blessed are You, O LORD, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth are Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and You are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand are power and might, and in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank You, our God, and praise Your glorious name."

2Chronicles 25:5-10 "Then Amaziah assembled the men of Judah and set them by fathers' houses under commanders of thousands and of hundreds for all Judah and Benjamin. He mustered those twenty years old and upward, and found that they were 300,000 choice men, fit for war, able to handle spear and shield. He hired also 100,000 mighty men of valor from Israel for 100 talents of silver. But a man of God came to him and said, "O king, do not let the army of Israel go with you, for the LORD is not with Israel, with all these Ephraimites. But go, act, be strong for the battle. Why should you suppose that God will cast you down before the enemy? For God has power to help or to cast down." And Amaziah said to the man of God, "But what will we do about the hundred talents that I have given to the army of Israel?" The man of God answered, "The LORD is able to give you much more than this." Then Amaziah discharged the army that had come to him from Ephraim to go home again. And they became very angry with Judah and returned home in fierce anger."

Job 26:5-14 "The dead tremble under the waters and their inhabitants. Sheol is naked before GOD, and Abaddon [the place of destruction] has no covering. He stretches out the north over the void and hangs the earth on nothing. He binds up the waters in His thick clouds, and the cloud is not split open under them. He covers the face of the full moon and spreads over it His cloud. He has inscribed a circle on the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness. The pillars of heaven tremble and are astounded at His rebuke. By His power He stilled the sea; by His understanding He shattered Rahab. By His wind the heavens were made fair; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent. Behold, these are but the outskirts of His ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?"

Psalm 62:11-12 "Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, and that to you, O LORD, belongs steadfast love. For You will render to a man according to his work."

Psalm 65:5-8 with Psalm 93:4; Nah 1:3 "By awesome deeds You answer us with righteousness, O GOD of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas; the one who by His strength established the mountains, being girded with might; who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples, so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at Your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy."

Psalm 93:3-5 "The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring. Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty! Your decrees are very trustworthy; holiness befits Your house, O LORD, forevermore."

Nahum 1:2-8 "The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD is avenging and wrathful; the LORD takes vengeance on His adversaries and keeps wrath for His enemies. The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and the LORD will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet. He rebukes the sea and makes it dry; He dries up all the rivers; Bashan and Carmel wither; the bloom of Lebanon withers. The mountains quake before Him; the hills melt; the earth heaves before Him, the world and all who dwell in it. Who can stand before His indignation? Who can endure the heat of His anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken into pieces by Him. The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him. But with an overflowing flood He will make a complete end of the adversaries, and will pursue His enemies into darkness."

Romans 16:25-27 "Now to Him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal GOD, to bring about the obedience of faith----to the only wise GOD be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! The Amen."

Divine Ability;

Able to Deliver,

Daniel 3:16-18 "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If this be so, our God Whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up."

To Rise up children from stones,

Luke 3:7-9 "He said therefore to the crowds that came out to be baptized by him, "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bear fruits in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."

To Fulfill promises,

Romans 4:16-25 "That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, as it is written, "I have made you the father of many nations (Genesis 17:5)"—in the presence of the GOD in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist. In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, "So shall your offspring be (Genesis 15:5)." He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb. No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of GOD, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to GOD, fully convinced that GOD was able to do what HE had promised. That is why his faith was "counted to him as righteousness." (Genesis 15:6) But the words "it was counted [credited] to him" were not written for his sake alone, but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe Him Who raised from the dead Jesus our risen LORD, Who being delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification."

To make grace abound,

2Corithians 9:6-15 "The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, "He has distributed freely, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever (Psalm 112:9)." Now He Who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!"

To Do exceeding abundantly,

Ephesians 3:20-21 "Now to Him Who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. The Amen."

To subdue all things,

Philippians 3:17-21 "Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us. For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who will transform our lowly body to be like His glorious body, by the power that enables Him even to subject all things to Himself."

To guard the soul's treasure,

2Timothy 1:8-14 "Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our LORD, nor of me His prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of His own purpose and grace, which He gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began*, and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher, which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know Whom I have believed, and I am convinced that HE is able to guard until that Day what has been entrusted to me. Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. By the Holy Spirit Who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you."

To save to the uttermost,

Hebrews 7:23-25 "The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, but HE holds His priesthood permanently, because HE continues forever. Consequently, HE is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to GOD through Him, since HE always lives to make intercession for them."

To keep us from falling,

Jude 24-25 "Now to Him Who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy, to the only GOD, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our LORD, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Be The Amen."

The LORD willing tomorrow I will draw from the * Foreordained Plan which brings Salvation.
