The Secret and Mysteries of GOD revisited, part 21.05d

I am continuing with a in depth look at our calling to be servants of our brothers and sisters who are now part of the active Body of Christ as Christ ones in the here and Now as the anointed. Anointed by GOD El ohm, for His use and perfecting for service as minister's and servants in training. The scriptures call us shepherds after the old testament pattern and in the new, calls us teachers, for this we become after the, a while, Holy Spirit is working within us all that is the anointing and Christ. We will look at both terms to find out what they entail for us.

As Shepherds, feed My Flock is our charge,

Jeremiah 3:15 of 15-18 "'I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. And when you have multiplied and been fruitful in the land, in those days, declares the LORD, they shall no more say, "The ark of the covenant of the LORD." It shall not come to mind or be remembered or missed; it shall not be made again. At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the LORD, and all nations shall gather to it, to the presence of the LORD in Jerusalem, and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heart. In those days the house of Judah shall join the house of Israel, and together they shall come from the land of the north to the land that I gave your fathers for a heritage.'"

Jeremiah 23:4 of 1-4 "'Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! declares the LORD. Therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the shepherds who care for My people: 'You have scattered My flock and have driven them away, and you have not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for your evil deeds,' declares the LORD. Then I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and I will bring them back to their fold, and they shall be fruitful and multiply. For I will set shepherds over them who will care for them, and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be missing declares the LORD.'"

Ezekiel 34:23 of 23-24 "'I will set up over them one shepherd, like My servant David, and He shall feed them: He shall feed them and be their shepherd. For I, the LORD, will be their GOD, and My servant David shall be prince among them. I am the LORD; I have spoken.'"

John 21:17 of 15-19 "So when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?' He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, 'Feed My lambs.' He said to him a second time, 'Simon, son of John, do you love me?' He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, 'Tend My sheep.' He said to him the third time, 'Simon, son of John, do you love Me?' Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "'Do you love Me?'" and he said to Him, "Lord, You know everything; You know that I love You." To this Jesus said to him, 'Feed My sheep. For Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.' (This He said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify GOD.) And after saying this He said to him, 'Follow (walk in agreement with) me.'"

Acts 20:28 of 25-35 "Now, behold, I know that none of you among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom will see my face again. Therefore I (call you to witness) testify to you this day that I am innocent (pure from) of the blood of all, for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of GOD. Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of GOD, which HE obtained with His own blood. For I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years (my own clock is still ticking on this one, to date it has been 9 years of doing this blog) I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears. And now I commend you to GOD and to the Word of His Grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. I coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities and to those who were with me. In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

1Peter 5:2 of 1-5 "So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of GOD that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as GOD would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for "GOD opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (Proverbs 3:34)."

As Teachers, of the anointed Word,

Matthew 28:20 of 16-20 "Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw Him they worshiped Him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing (this being the baptism of the Holy Spirit, Not of water as is the habit and custom of many caught by mans snare of religion which nullifies the power of the Word) them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'"

1Timothy 3:2-3 of 1-7 "The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for GOD's church? He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare (delusions lawlessness of 2Thessalonians 2:1-12) of the devil."

1Timothy 4:11 of 11-16 "Command and teach these things. Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture (Old witness letters, and at that time would have been Paul's letters), to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift (the anointing in) you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers."

1Timothy 6:2 of 1-2 "Let all who are under a yoke as bondservants regard their own masters as worthy of all honor, so that the name of GOD and the teaching may not be reviled. Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful on the ground that they are brothers; rather they must serve all the better since those who benefit by their good service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these things."

2Timothy 2:24-25 of 20-3:9 "Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the Master of the house, ready for every good work. So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the LORD from a pure heart. Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the LORD's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. GOD may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. For understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. Because people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, irreconcilable, malicious slanders, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of GOD, many having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep (by way of Television and Radio and personal appearances as missionaries) into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith.(again the warning of 2Thessalonians 2:1-12) But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men."
