Christ within You post number 2381

With this post we shall begin our look for referenced passages of studied words that confirm these words of the last post. This taken from Genesis 2:4-8 with the focus on verses 5 and 7 so let's get it up here and running shall we? It should be noted that when using the LXX that the images shown in the context of the referenced subject when copied does not move forward but is replaced by a letter or a simple dot. It is this pictorial reference that the Bible translators saw and used for their translations though the fog of their religious preferences...meaning interfered with their vision and thusly their understanding. This I have tried to steer away from as best I can, depending on the Holy Spirit as He has perfected within me, and my heart conscientiousness. This caught by Paul and expressed by him in Romans 12:1-3. Again using the old standard KJV, with my usual editing.

Genesis 2:5 , 7 of 4-8 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, when every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD [H3068] God [H430] had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But when there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; And man became a living soul. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there He (more properly this should be They as it references Elohiym) put the man whom He had formed

H3068: from the LXX and then the Strong's: It seems there is a glitch in my e-Sword program in regards to H3068 as it does not appear in the LXX glossary of word indexes[???]. So I shall move on to the Strong's:

H3068
יְהֹוָה
yehôvâh
yeh-ho-vaw'
From H1961; (the) self Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God: - Jehovah, the LORD. Compare H3050, H3069.

H1961 the LXX:

Strongs #1961: AHLB#: 1097-M (V)

1097) Ee% (Ee% HH) ac: Breathe co: Breath ab: Exist: The pictograph e represents one who is looking at a great sight with his hands raised and taking a long breath. The pictograph e represents one who is looking at a great sight with his hands raised and taking a long breath.

J) Efe% (Efe% HWH) ac: Exist co: Breath ab: ?
V) Ee% (Efe% HWH) - Exist: To exist or have breath. That which exists has breath. In Hebrew thought the breath is the character of someone or something. Just as a man has character, so do objects. [Hebrew and Aramaic]  [freq. 75] (vf: Paal) |kjv: be, hath, was| {str: 1933, 1934}
M) Eie% (Eie% HYH) ac: Exist co: Breath ab: ?
V) Eie% (Eie% HYH) - Exist: To exist or have breath. That which exists has breath. In Hebrew thought the breath is the character of someone or something. Just as a man has character, so do objects. [A generic verb with a wide application meaning to exist or be] [freq. 74] (vf: Paal, Niphal) |kjv: was, come to pass, came, been, happened, become, pertained, better for thee| {str: 1961}

Now for the Strong's: H1961
הָיָה
hâyâh
haw-yaw'
A primitive root (compare H1933); to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary): - beacon, X altogether, be (-come, accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), continue, do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, X use.

H1933
הָוָה    הָוָא
hâvâ'    hâvâh
haw-vaw', haw-vaw'
A primitive root (compare H183, H1961) supposed to mean properly to breathe; to be (in the sense of existence): - be, X have.

Now for the H430, the LXX:Strongs #430: AHLB#: 1012-H (c)

1012) La% (La% AL) ac: Yoke co: Ox ab: Strength: The pictograph a is a picture of an ox head and also represents its strength. The l is a picture of a shepherd staff and also represents the authority of the shepherd. Combined these two pictographs mean "the strong authority" and can be anyone or thing of strong authority. The yoke is understood as a "staff on the shoulders" (see Isaiah 9:4 and Matthew 11:29-30) in order to harness their power for pulling loads such as a wagon or plow. Hence, the two pictographs can also represent "the ox in the yoke". Often two oxen were yoked together. An older, more experienced ox would be teamed up (yoked) with a younger, less experienced ox. The older ox in the yoke is the "strong authority" who, through the yoke, teaches the younger ox. (eng: all; elk; elephant)

H) Ela% (Ela% ALH) ac: Swear co: Yoke ab: ?: The yoking together of two parties. A treaty or covenant binds two parties together through an oath (yoke). The oath included blessings for abiding by the covenant and curses for breaking the covenant (see Deuteronomy 28). The God of the Hebrews was seen as the older ox that is yoked to His people in a covenant relationship.

cm) Efla% (Efla% A-LWH) - Power: The power or might of one who rules or teaches. One who yokes with another. Often applied to rulers or a god. [Hebrew and Aramaic] [df: hla] [freq. 2663] |kjv: GOD, God, god, heathen deity| {str: 430, 433}

Now for the Strong's: H430
אֱלֹהִים
'ĕlôhı̂ym
el-o-heem'
Plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme GOD; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative: - angels, X exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty.

H433
אֱלֹהַּ    אֱלוֹהַּ
'ĕlôahh    'ĕlôahh
el-o'-ah, el-o'-ah
(The second form is rare); probably prolonged (emphatically) from H410; a deity or the deity: - GOD, God, god. See H430.

H410
אֵל
'êl
ale
Shortened from H352; strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty (but used also of any deity): - GOD, God (god), X goodly, X great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. Compare names in “-el.”

Today, we know Him, Them, as Light, Life and Love. All of which resides within our very being and has always been there as the image and likeness of our being. This described in Leviticus 17:11 and later in Hebrews 13:10, not to leave out John's many gospel messages, including Revelation. This all the doctrine of Jesus as the Christ one Who revealed this name of our Father first to His disciples and then to Israel and then to Saul who became Paul. Who said later to us. After his conversion or refreshing, conversion took place on the Damascus road as stated in Acts 9, when he made his escape from Damascus. The conversion was like that of Abram when he made his escape from his father's house and GOD then changed his name to Abraham and said that those who would follow in his footsteps would be of many Nations, tribes, nationalities and tongues.

So much for looking at connected passages of scripture maybe for tomorrow, the LORD Willing.

Christ within You post number 2380

For the past 16 years of doing this blog postings, I have chosen use a numbering system for each topic area, with today's post I will use the sequence number in place of topic numbers. Now before I get into meat of our study I want to say this, since the advances in medical technology we now know that the passage of Leviticus 17:11 is within all of humanity as DNA with the Laminin protein found in 2015 with the use of an electronic microscope, which is the very image of the cross as the altar in this passage and that of Heb. 13:10, this stated Genesis 1:26-28 in a veiled language, because of this many other scripture passages are needed to make this clear, and this is backed up with what Jesus Himself has stated. Some believe because of the wording that man is the express "image and likeness" of his Creator as apposed to having His (Their, the meaning of Elohiym, which John bears record of in 1John 4 and 5) being within our form. The life of the blood is manufactured within our bone structure the marrow within the bone. This the reason for woman being made of the bone or rib of man (Genesis 2:18, 21-24); GOD could not make another of it's (Adam's) from. He had to make the second from the first. Thereby establishing a biblical principle or law. As we wait upon the LORD Jesus we will learn more of Him and may become of the learned once again, our heart ears being opened by Him.

Now for my first passage of study comes from Genesis 2:5 part "c," and verse 7, which states the highlighted portions, it being taken out of the thought verses of 4 through 9, I am using the KJV, with some editing.

Genesis 2:5c, 7 of 4-9  These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made (spoke them into being by His breathe as scene in Gen. 1:1 [26-28]-2:3) the earth and the heavens, and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man (H120 from H119) to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. It was then that the LORD God formed (H3335 [H853]) man of the dust of the ground, and breathed (H5301) into his nostrils the breath (H5397) of life (H2416, Lev. 17:11; Heb. 13:10); And man became a living soul (H5315). And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there He put the man whom He had formed (H3335). Out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; The tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Now for the referenced Hebrew words and their meanings, this in part taken from the LXX and maybe the Strong's Hebrew word meanings? I am not at this moment sure if I'll include them.

H120: Strongs #120: AHLB#: 1082-C (N)

1082) Md% (Md% DM) ac: ? co: Blood ab: Likeness: The pictograph d is a door representing the idea of moving back and forth. The m is a picture of water and can represent any liquid especially blood. Christ within You .011.03

Because of the current postings in other ares I am doing another section to this as more of a necessary understanding of how the faith of Jesus works to our benefit. This will begin with a copy and paste of Pastor Heokstra's teaching in my e-Sword program that is to follow. This to include the meaning of both redemption and salvation from the Webster Dictionary. I'll start with the Dictionary's meanings.

Redemption: the instant process of redeeming, atonement is another term.

Salvation: the deliverance from the power and effects of sin, the agent or means that effect salvation, liberation from ignorance or the illusion of; the preservation from destruction or failure, deliverance from danger or difficulty.

Assurance of Salvation through Faith

And this is the testimony: that GOD has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of GOD does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe the Son of GOD [it should be noted that all of humanity is this son], that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe the Son of GOD. (1John 5:11-13)

If we are to grow in grace, we must live by Jesus' faith. "Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace" (Romans 4:16). If our trusting in His faith is to develop and mature, we must know where faith comes from. Jesus (and His word) is the source of our faith. "Looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith . . . faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD" (Hebrews 12:2 and Romans 10:17). As we get to know our LORD Jesus better and better, as we get into His word more and more, our trust grows into His faith which then increases. As our trust of Him and His faith grows, we experience the grace of GOD in increasing ways. One of the wonderful workings ie,,benefits of God's grace is to bring us assurance of salvation through faith.

Some people wonder if they are saved. Others hope that they are saved. Still others think that they might be saved. GOD actually wants people to know that they are saved. "These things I have written to you who believe the Son of GOD, that you may know that you have eternal life." Of course, salvation (the gift of eternal life) is given to those who "believe the Son of GOD." This means that they trust in the person and work of Christ, the Christ is the activated image and likeness of our origin and true identity, this takes place by the Holy Spirit's renewing of his knowledge. They believe He is GOD, the Son, of which all of humanity is, as One. They believe He died and rose victorious over sin and death. Many who have entered into salvation are, nonetheless, without assurance of this great gift.

Assurance is imparted through the consideration of the previous testimony of the faithful and true word of GOD, that remains resident within humanity. "And this is the testimony: that GOD has given us eternal life, and this life is His Son and the son of our origin." The gift of eternal life has truly been provided for by the LORD God of our humanity by the knowledge restored to us all. However, the Father wants us to be reminded that this eternal life is "in His Son." Everlasting life is not some "packaged blessing" that comes to us separated from Jesus, as man's religions proclaim. This life GOD has for us is found through a renewed relationship with a person, Jesus. If we have Jesus in our lives, we have the life that is found in Him. "He who has the Son has life; He who does not have the Son of GOD does not have life." If we have invited the LORD into our lives, He now dwells in us. "As many as received Him, to them He gives the right to become children of GOD, again."

(John 1:12). Jesus gives us assurance of salvation through faith in Him.

LORD Jesus, I thank You for coming into me as Life, Light and Love unconditionally, when I received You by Your faith and Father's faithfulness. Therefore, I know that I have eternal life, since that life is in You. Thank You for the grace that brings such assurance through simple trust in Father's faith in You, Amen.

Now i hope that I have not caused anyone dismay by my observations as they follow what is revealed in .011, .011.01, .011.02 and now .011.03.

Christ within You .011.02

In this section of .11.02 we will do a short version of scripture examination, this taken from Isaiah 50:4-8 which states this:

Isaiah 50:4-8  The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned [6], that I should know how to speak [sustain, 1] a word in season to him that is weary: he wakens me morning by morning, he wakens my ear to hear as the learned. The Lord GOD has opened [2] my ear, I was not [3] rebellious, neither turned away back. I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord GOD will help [4] me; Therefore shall I not [5] be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. He is nearer that justifies me; Who will contend with me? Let us stand together [7]: who is my adversary? Let him come near to me.

[1] speak or sustain: Psalm 5:3 of 3-6, 88:13 of 11-13, 119:147 of 144-149, 143:8 of 7-8 My voice shalt You hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning will I direct my prayer (thoughts) to You, and will look up. For You are not a God that has pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with You. The foolish shall not stand in Your sight: You hate all workers of iniquity. You shall destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.......Shall Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or Your faithfulness in destruction? Shall Your wonders be known in the dark? and Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? For to You have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent [hasten] You..... The righteousness of Your testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live. I cried with my whole heart; Hear me, O LORD: I will keep Your statutes. I cried to You; save me, and I shall keep Your testimonies. I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hope in Your word. My eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in Your word. Hear my voice according to Your lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to Your judgment.....Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit fails in me: hide not Your face from me, lest I be like them that go down into the pit. Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For in You do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul to You.

[2] opened my ear: Psalm 40:6-8; Isaiah 35:5  Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; my ears have You opened: burnt offering and sin offering You not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do Your will, O my God: yes, Your law is within my heart.

Isaiah 35:5  Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

[3] I was not: Matthew 26:39, (John 8:29, 14:31, 15:10; Hebrews 5:8 of 7-10, 10:7 of 5-10) And He went a little further, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as You will.

John 8:28-29  Then said Jesus to them, 'When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; But as My Father has taught Me, I speak these things. And He that sent Me is with Me: the Father has not left Me alone; For I do always those things that please Him.

John 14:29-31  'I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, you might believe. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world comes, having nothing in Me. But that the world may know that I love the Father; As the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.'

John 15:9-12  'As the Father loves Me, so have I loved you: continue in My love. If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My love; Even as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love. These things have I spoken to you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is My commandment, That you love one another, as I love you.'

Hebrews 5:7-10  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation to all them that obey Him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 10:5-10  Wherefore when he come into the world, he said, 'Sacrifice and offering You would not, but a body hast You prepared Me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do Your will, O GOD.' Above when He said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin You would not, neither had pleasure therein; Which are offered by the law; Then said He, 'Lo, I come to do Your will, O God. He toke away the first, that He may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of our body a living sacrifice of Jesus Christ once for all.

[4] help me: Isaiah 42:1-2, 49:8-10 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; My elect, in whom My soul delights; I have put My spirit upon him: He shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street....Thus says the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you: and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; That you may say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places. They shall not hunger nor thirst; Neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that has mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

[6] the tongue of the learned: Exodus 4:11-12; Matthew 7:28-29  The LORD said, Who has made man's mouth? or who makes the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD? Now therefore go, and I will be with tour mouth, and teach you what you shall say.

Matthew 7:28-29 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine: For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Luke 4:32  And they were astonished at His doctrine: for His word was with power.

[7] let us stand together: 1Corinthians 4:3-5 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yes, I judge not my own self. For I know nothing by myself; Yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judges me is the LORD. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the LORD come, Who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of GOD.

Needless to say even  my notes were confusing but with the Holy Spirit guidance all seems to have worked out okay.

Christ within You .011.01

I want to ask this one simple question of you, what is the assignment that governs the Holy Spirit's work and operations? Simple answer is the revealing of Christ Jesus within us, the Holy Spirit as our comforter and Spirit of all Truth [John 14:26, 15:26, it is the work of the Holy Spirit to open up the secret things of GOD and the mysteries of Christ in us, human beings, Hebrews 9:23, John 17:23], this is what He does and does the best. I want to look at Isaiah 50:4-8 but before I do I will look at Isaiah 57 where we find this:

[The work of the Holy Spirit: John 14:26, 15:26 Jesus is speaking, 'For the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.....For when the Comforter is come, Whom I will send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of Truth, which proceeds from the Father, He shall testify of Me:'"]

Isaiah 57:14-19 "'And shall say, Cast up, cast up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling-block out of the way of My people. For thus says the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before Me, and the souls which I have made. For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid Me, and was wroth, and he went on forwardly in the way of his heart. I have seen his ways, and will heal (restore) him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners. For I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, says the LORD; and I will heal him.'"

Now for Isaiah 50:4-10, "The LORD God has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: He wakens me morning by morning, He waken my ear to hear as the learned. The LORD God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. I gave my back to the smiters, and My cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not My face from shame and spitting. For the LORD God will help me; Therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. He is near that justifies me; Who will contend with me? Let us stand together: who is my adversary? Let him come near to me. Behold, the LORD God will help Me; Who is he that shall condemn me? Lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; The moth shall eat them up. Who is among you that fears the LORD, that obey the voice of His servant, that walks in darkness, and having no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.'"

Then again looking to Isaiah, Isaiah tells us that it is GOD Who is our strength in Isaiah 49:5-7 where we fine this: Now, says the LORD that formed me from the womb to be His servant, to bring humanity (Jacob) again to Him, though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength. For He said, 'It is a light thing that you should be My servant to raise up the tribes of humanity (Jacob), and to restore the preserved of the nations (Israel): I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be My salvation to the end of the earth.' Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of nations (Israel), and His Holy One, to Him Whom man despise, to Him Whom the nations abhorred, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD is the faithful one, and the Holy One of the Nations (Israel), and He has chosen you.'"

So where does this leave us today if we have not the Holy Spirit? In darkness as there is no light within us, man's religions then have success.

Christ within You .011

With this post we will begin looking at a new thought of greatest of interests and importance, this taken from a thought shared in my e-Sword Bible Study aid program. This shared by Pastor Heokstra to begin with, but with little editing where and when necessary....as a child of the resurrection and the renewed life and mind/heart by the Holy Spirit. This being taken from Isaiah 50:4-7 at first then I shall the LORD willing bring in the rest that follows, in our next spot.

"Jesus, the Ultimate Example of Faith's Results"

The LORD God has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary . . . The LORD God has opened My ear . . . I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting. For the LORD God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed. (Isaiah 50:4-7)

In our previous prophetic verse's studies, we have shown that the promised Servants of the Lord would undertake within the guidelines of His Messianic mission through faith in His and our own Heavenly Father. "My God shall be My strength" (Isaiah 49:5). These verses depict Jesus as the ultimate example of faith. Now, in corresponding prophetic passages reveal the blessed consequences of our trusting in the Lord Jesus and after His ascension the LORD of Lords. Herein, we see Jesus as the ultimate example of the Father's faith results. It is this very "faith" that our Father exhibits within us all who follow in the footsteps of Jesus.

Once again, the prophetic properties that are the Messiah's become ours by our and His Heavenly Father. The confessions of Jesus (trusting the Father) comprise the prophetic statements. "The LORD God has given Me the tongue of the learned." Jesus was "discipled" day by day by the Father (certainly using, in part, His and our godly parents). "The LORD God has opened My ear." This equipped Jesus to minister to burdened lives: "that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary." In fact, people are amazed in general at the manner in which He and we also speak. "So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth" (Luke 4:22).

As Jesus would trusted the Father, He would also be prepared for the mounting difficulties that He would face. "I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting." In His and our approaching the cross, these prophecies of Jesus (and the enablement He found through depending upon the Father) were fulfilled. "Then they spat in His face and beat Him; And others struck Him with the palms of their hands" (Matthew 26:67). Though He knew all of this awaited Him before He came, for His humanity and to Jerusalem that last time, He put His faith in the Father. "For the LORD God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed." The Father helped Him as He does us all. Still He marched on resolutely to keep His redemption (not to be mixed with salvation, as these two have slightly different meanings and purposes) appointment at the cross (as we are the children of the resurrection and ascension). "Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem" (Luke 9:51). These are the wonderful consequences of Father's faith.

Father, Your Son, my Savior, was prepared, strengthened, sustained, and used through faith in You. I need to experience in my own life these same blessed results of Your faith. Please build my trust into Your faith, more and more, for Your glory and service, Amen.

As stated we are looking at this from the viewpoint of our re-birthing this of our origin and identity through the co-processes of death, decent into the pit, burial, resurrection and ascension from which we gain the benefit of a renewed mind/heart; While we travel here on earth as pilgrims awaiting our calling out (salvation, not redemption) from among them of darknesses grip. The hardest part is our willingness to accept our own passing from death's grip into eternal life again and this by the Holy Spirit restored, reconstituted within us all.

Christ within You .010.6

I had another thought to share but today's study of Pastor Hoekstra's posts speaks to the situations of today with some clearness so here goes:

Scorn for the Scornful, Grace for the Humble:

Surely He scorns the scornful, but gives grace to the humble. (Proverbs 3:34)

The scriptures emphasize the Lord's commitment to pour out grace upon those who walk in humility, while opposing the path of those who walk in pride. "But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: 'GOD resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble' . . . Be clothed with humility, for 'GOD resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble' . . . Though the LORD is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar" (James 4:6; 1Peter 5:5; and Psalm138:6). In our present verse we have another pointed example. "Surely He scorns the scornful, but gives grace to the humble."

It is an absolute certainty that the LORD will scorn the scornful. "Surely He scorns the scornful." The scornful person shows arrogant disregard for the LORD and His righteous ways. The scornful one is a mocker of godliness and a boaster in wickedness. The LORD will assuredly scorn such people. He will treat them with a holy disdain. He will reject their path with holy contempt.

For so many of us who have a heart for the LORD, walking scornfully before the LORD is not a likely threat. However, somewhat related attitudes may become a part of our walk (even inadvertently). Pride and haughtiness are two of the most common, and most deadly. "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18). These companion evils can be summarized as self-exaltation. Such an approach to life always results in devastating downfalls. These attitudes and their consequences are most fully illustrated by the history of the devil himself. Before he became the ultimate rebel against GOD, he was a magnificent, privileged angelic being. "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of GOD . . . You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you." (Eze. 28:14-15). This iniquity that developed was self-exaltation. "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! . . . For you have said in your heart: . . . I will be like the Most High" (Isa. 14:12-14). This haughty exalting of self brought a disastrous fall, which will end up forever in hell itself.

May we daily chose to walk with God's humble saints, refusing to join the ranks of the proud, with their self-advancing schemes. "Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud" (Pro. 16:19).

LORD God Most High, I request forgiveness for the times that I have exalted myself over Your word by deed or attitude. I renounce the prideful path of self-advancing humanity. I want to identify with Your humble saints, looking to You to shape and use our lives through Your abounding grace, Amen."

My own thought for this post was a bit different, it dealing with wisdom and how to acquire wisdom. But can you see what I mean with this sharing, how does all that we are facing these days can be summed up herein?
