Thessalonians part 6

It has become apparent to me since doing this study what has been propagated by the phrase and term of “another gospel.” It is the same bases that frames Islam and the tenants of the Muslamic faith. These being that which is based on the belief that man is neither good or evil or put another way that there is nothing absolute meaning that nothing is true or relative. All then is judged as mans ability to deteremine his own destiny which is then determined by him and him alone. While he may acknowledge a superior being of some form such as “El” or “Alah” and that this acknowledgement does not tie the individual to either of them. When this concept is raised to the level of mans own wisdom by the means of philosophy it can become an ideology or religion of man. When it is applied in this way it could be named, “common core” as it relates to all mankind as having no distinction between any moral standards. Man then is given his own means to determine his own standards of what is good or evil depending on any given situation he may find himself in. This removes the value and need for the cross and the blood of Christ Jesus as the proper means to descern good from evil. With this premise in mind lets move on to 2Thessalonians.

2Thessalonians 1:1-2, 3-12 “Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (Again it is my contention that where we find the word Lord in the New Covenant it should be LORD, the Hebrew Adonai, as this is Who He is and always has been. Form His Ascension on He has been LORD of Lords and lords or fathers or vine from whom spring more lords as this is the hidden meaning of LORD.)

We are bound to thank God always for you, as it is meet (fit as one who has merited anything worthy), because that your faith grows exceedingly, and the charity [Love, God's own LOVE, Agape as the more excellent way] of every one of you all toward each other abounds [here the more excellent is repeated]; So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that (through which) you endure (God's own Love causes both fruitfulness and endurance through extreme tribulations): Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer* (again this is not an easy peasy road or style of life as many proclaim today): Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you (these people will suffer for their own wrongs in His wrath and Christ's Judgment Day); And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the (this) gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power (against all uncircumised of heart); When He shall come to be glorified in His saints (those who have received the circumsion of heart and the judgment executed on Him in which it said, that we have been clothed in), and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed**) in that day. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of His calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you In Him, according to the Grace*** of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

*This statement makes all statements of faith which proclaim a richness in mans Religion and its many instutions which preach a so called prosperity (in its many forms) doctrine a false statement and false doctrine. This doctrine is what causes tribulation of soul within us and which troubles many who have entered into His Redemption. Because this doctrine is not a thing to be grasped. This is confirmed in the next chapter which follows.

**Our total trust and confidence which is based on God's Faithfulness to His revealed Word. As figured as being a small double edged dagger in Ephesians 6. Upon which Jesus as the “Son of man,” placed His Faith. Or being in the form of man (Adam) trusted as men such as Enoch, Noah, Shem, Eber, Abram /Abrahm and Isaac and then as the son of man, or as the second Adam. Because since Adam shared and taught the passover, in the shedding of blood and the sheeps skin used to cover both him and woman, as seen in Genesis 3:21 for shadowed the promise cross.

***God's Grace and Truth were present within the “Son of man,” as witnessed to by John in his synoptic gospel chapter 1:14 and 17, which was more fully and accurately expanded on in this same kingdom message.
