Thessalonians part 9

I need to explain what I believe Paul is making reference to in the use of the term “traditions” which I have maked or called out with the use of (a) above. His trem means something other than that of common useage which applies the old standards of the Jewish religionists as being the sole stand of faith. You see both John the Baptists and Jesus with Paul taught a different tradition or revelation of GOD's now working within the soul of all redeemed mankind as seen in Jeremiah 31:34 which is part of the promised New Covenant and states this, Jeremiah 31:31-33, 34-37 “Behold, the days come, said the LORD, that I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which My covenant they broke, although I was an husband to them, said the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, said the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people. They shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, said the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Thus said the LORD, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is His name: If these ordinances depart from before Me, said the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever. Thus said the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, said the LORD.”

What is not seen here nor understood is the spiritual signal and is the significance of what is stated, when the LORD said that “He would” do away with the old and replace it with a New. Also that He would write within our inward parts after He removed the stain of sin and death from us. Now here is the interesting part, He used the term “Israel” which on the surface points to only one people group, that being Israel as a nation as a whole. However, any I say this with fear and trembling, that all that appears to be is or is it. The LORD here changes what might be called traditions to an even higher standard in mans becoming as Adam was in Genesis 2, covered by the glory of GOD in His righteousness. This many have called mans innocence despensational period of short duration. Some also claim that when one becomes filled with the Holy Spirit (the personage of Elohim) that they are now a new Israel which is the true apple of GOD's eye. This does NOT mean that they replace the nation of Israel but rather that they are what GOD had in mind in the first place. Because these people operate as did the ancients from Seth on through Issaac as listed in Hebrews 11. Some also have claimed a more radical form of this as a replacement theology, this theology is among those that Paul warns us not to become apart of.

What might need a good old rehashing here is that Christ Jesus' coming was the sign and signification of change in the worlds atmosphere concerning mans spirituality. Up until Jesus' varicarious death the world was primarily focused on the literalism of scripture and materalism in the self efforts of mans own works or self suficiency. This has become the standard of mans religion for well over 1800 years now and is the bases of mans traditions. But with Jesus' death, God's Light was restored within those who became receptive of Jesus' teaching and Spirit. In other words there are now two dominions at play, one for mans total elimination, in Satan's kingdom of spiritual darkness, death, lawlessness and wretchedness. Which holds all natural mankind in chains as an evil tyrant does by misdirection and the promotion of ignorance through blindness of a righteous spiritual existence. And God's kingdom which on the other hand promotes mans coming willfully to His Light (revelation, which promotes our understanding or discernment through having a clear vision and perception of all things in righteousness) love, truth, grace, and freedom from deaths sin stench and stain. Also with this freedom from sin and deaths stain, we also acquire freedom from mans religion and the traditions of mans creation based on that religion, in whatever form that it maybe found in.

Through the entry into God's kingdom, which is not acquired by mans works or even his sufferings, but only through his trusting God, Who has proven Himself to be the only true and Faithful One. The surprising thing here is that when we do so our obedience is almost guarantied because we move from unbelief to faith and this not in our own strength but GOD's. The reason for this is the power of the Holy Spirit, Who is the ontological essence of Christ in Grace and Truth restored within our soul. As illustrated in John synoptic gospel chapter 1 in verses 14 and 16-17, as promised first to Adam in Genesis 3:15. And then to those who would become receptive of Him as Abram (as yet a gentile) was in Genesis 12:2-3, Who brings us knowledge of Himself in all Truth, in His Light and Grace. Which is the Gospel first proclaimed by John the Baptist and Jesus and then Paul after his conversion from darkness to the Light.
