Our Divine Spiritual Richness

At this moment if I were to take a poll of the worlds people, about who they believe GOD to be, I wonder what the out come would be. Just as with the anointing of the anointed one, Whom Israel knew as their Messiah. The very one that they denied and hung on a tree as prophesied ages before He came. He telling these things to the prophets which they then spoke and wrote of as directed. For when He appeared no one knew Him and even refused to accept Him as the King of the heritage of David, Israel's promised heritage. This heritage was in two parts the first Israel's and the second the world of humanity past and forward from the day of His appearance. What was so unique about Him was that He was both a man of flesh and the personage of the GOD-head in bodily form, mans second Adam of promise as known in Genesis 3:15. Now GOD is Spirit and as Spirit in Him is pure Light, Love, Life eternal and law or the Living new Life imparting Word. As Spirit HE is Father, Master and LORD the Vine into Whom man by acceptance is restored to Him Who is unseen and sadly misunderstood and even denied by this world of darkness. Now turning to Pastor Hoekstra and his teaching of Grace in the person of Moses as a God one a great prophet knowing GOD. Then we will turn our attention to the ignorance of GOD our Redemption and then our Salvation making use of the ESV translation in the anointed One, as we walk through life in agreement as others have before me. (Galatians 2:20)

"Moses Keeping the Passover, by Faith"

"By faith he (Moses) kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them." (Hebrews 11:28)

"When Moses boldly led Israel out of Egypt, his fearlessness was based upon his faith in the true and living GOD. "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him Who is invisible" (Hebrews 11:28). His confidence in the invisible LORD GOD had been confirmed by what he saw regarding the LORD's faithfulness when he kept the Passover, by faith.

The crushing blow of GOD's judgment upon Egypt was the death of the firstborn in every household. "The LORD struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt . . . So Pharaoh rose in the night . . . Then he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, 'Go, serve the LORD as you have said' " (Exodus 12:29-31). Israel was delivered from this judgment by trusting in the LORD's protection, which was provided through the shed blood of the Passover lamb. "Now the LORD spoke to Moses . . . every man shall take for himself a lamb . . . a lamb for a household . . . Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight (the beginning of the new day and the close of that which had just passed). And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it . . . For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt . . . I am the LORD. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt" (Exodus 12:1, 3, 6-7, 12-13). Responding in faith, Moses and the Israelites were delivered. "By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest He Who destroyed the firstborn should touch them."

We, too, are delivered from judgment by faith in the blood of the ultimate Passover lamb. "Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us" (1Corinthians 5:7). We who trust in the shed blood of Christ are forgiven, delivered from the eternal wages of sin by GOD's abounding Grace. "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His Grace . . . For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is eternal life in Christ Jesus our LORD" (Ephesians 1:7 and Romans 6:23). This eternal life (of endless duration and abundant dimensions) is ours through the New Covenant of Grace. "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you" (Luke 22:20). When we with free will accept this as our own in humility and contriteness of heart receive the benefit of all that has promise to Christ which then becomes ours through Him Who Is.

Mans Ignorance of GOD,

Judges 2:6-10 "When Joshua dismissed the people, the people of Israel went each to his inheritance to take possession of the land. And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great work that the LORD had done for Israel. And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died at the age of 110 years. And they buried him within the boundaries of his inheritance in Timnath-heres, in the hill country of Ephraim, north of the mountain of Gaash. And all that generation also were gathered to their fathers. And there arose another generation after them who did not know the LORD or the work that He had done for Israel."

Jeremiah 4:19-22 "My anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain! Oh the walls of my heart! My heart is beating wildly; I cannot keep silent, for I hear the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war. Crash follows hard on crash; the whole land is laid waste. Suddenly my tents are laid waste, my curtains in a moment. How long must I see the standard and hear the sound of the trumpet? "For My people are foolish; they know Me not; they are stupid children; they have no understanding. They are 'wise'—in doing evil! But how to do good they know not."

Jeremiah 7:32-34, 8:1-8:7 and 8:18-9:6 "Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when it will no more be called Topheth, or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter; for they will bury in Topheth, because there is no room elsewhere. And the dead bodies of this people will be food for the birds of the air, and for the beasts of the earth, and none will frighten them away.  And I will silence in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, for the land shall become a waste.

"At that time, declares the LORD, the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be brought out of their tombs. And they shall be spread before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. And they shall not be gathered or buried. They shall be as dung on the surface of the ground. Death shall be preferred to life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family (of man, that is Adam) in all the places where I have driven them, declares the LORD of hosts. "You shall say to them, Thus says the LORD: When men fall, do they not rise again? If one turns away, does he not return? Why then has this people turned away in perpetual (apostasy) backsliding? They hold fast to deceit; they refuse to return. I have paid attention and listened, but they have not spoken rightly; no man relents of his evil, saying, 'What have I done?' Everyone turns to his own course, like a horse plunging headlong into battle. Even the stork in the heavens knows her times, and the turtledove, swallow, and crane keep the time of their coming, but My people know not the rules of the LORD."

Jeremiah 8:18-9:7 "My joy is gone; grief is upon Me; My heart is sick within Me. Behold, the cry of the daughter of My people from the length and breadth of the land: "Is the LORD not in Zion? Is her King not in her?" "Why have they provoked Me to anger with their carved images and with their foreign idols?" "The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved." For the wound of the daughter of My people is My heart wounded; I mourn, and dismay has taken hold on Me. Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then has the health of the daughter of My people not been restored? Oh that My head were waters, and My eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of My people! Oh that I had in the desert a travelers' lodging place, that I might leave My people and go away from them! For they are all adulterers, a company of treacherous men. They bend their tongue like a bow; falsehood and not truth has grown strong in the land; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know Me, declares the LORD. Let everyone beware of his neighbor, and put no trust in any brother, for every brother is a deceiver, and every neighbor goes about as a slanderer. Everyone deceives his neighbor, and no one speaks the truth; they have taught their tongue to speak lies; they weary themselves committing iniquity. Heaping oppression upon oppression, and deceit upon deceit, they refuse to know Me, declares the LORD."

John 15:18-25 (Jesus is speaking) "If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will also keep yours. But all these things they will do to you on account of My name, because they do not know Him Who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin, but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father. But the word that is written in their Law must be fulfilled: 'They hated Me without a cause (in Psalm 35:19; 69:4).'"

John 16:1-4 (Jesus is speaking) "I have said all these things to you to keep you from falling away. They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to GOD. And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor Me. But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you. "I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you."

Acts 17:22-31 and 2Timothy 3: "Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: "Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, 'To the unknown god.' What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. The GOD Who made the world and everything in it, being LORD of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is HE served by human hands, as though HE needed anything, since HE Himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And HE made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods (Ages and dispensations of man) and the boundaries of their dwelling place (each in it's order), that they should seek GOD, and perhaps feel their way toward Him and find Him. Yet HE is actually not far from each one of us, for "'In Him we live and move and have our being'; as even some of your own poets have said, "'For we are indeed His offspring.' Being then GOD's offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. The times of ignorance GOD overlooked, but now HE commands all people everywhere to repent, because HE has fixed a day en which HE will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom HE has appointed; and of this HE has given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead."

2Timothy 3:1-9 "Understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of GOD, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the Truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. They will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men."
