The Revelation of Christ hidden as a mystery part 4

In the beginning to this blog and over the next seven years I did an indepth study into the mystery's and secrets things of GOD held for those who would become His again. I just finished the secret things as a review and preview for the following, mysteries. I will use the ESV translation for this new study.

Mysteries Revealed, the test of faith,

Of the Prosperity of the Wicked,

Jeremiah 12:1-4 "Righteous are you, O LORD, when I complain to You; yet I would plead my case before You. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all who are treacherous thrive? You plant them, and they take root; they grow and produce fruit; yet You are near in their mouth but far from their heart. For You, O LORD, know me; You see me, and test my heart toward You. Pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and set them apart for the day of slaughter. How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? For the evil of those who dwell in it the beasts and the birds are swept away, because they said, "He will not see our latter end."

Of the New Birth,

John 3:1-3, 4-8 "Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi (teacher), we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him." Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of GOD."
Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" To this Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."

Of Providence,

Romans 11:25-32, 33-36 "I do not want you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, "The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will banish ungodliness from Jacob" (Isaiah 59:20); "and this will be My covenant with them when I take away their sins" (Isaiah 59:21 and Jeremiah 31:33-34, Hebrews 8:10, with Isaiah 27:9 and Hebrews 8:12) As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy. For God has consigned all to disobedience, that He may have mercy on all.
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways! "For who has known the mind of the LORD, or who has been His counselor?" "Or who has given a gift to Him that he might be repaid?" For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him is glory forever. The Amen."

Of a Future Life,

1Corinthians 15:50-57, 28 "I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. For behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.  When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." (Isaiah 25:8) "O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" (Hosea 13:14) The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD within you, knowing that in the LORD your labor is not in vain."

Of Union of Christ with the Church, of marriage with Christ and His Church,

Ephesians 5:15-21, 22-24, 25-33 Be careful then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will (plan and purpose) of the LORD as Christ is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with His Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the LORD within your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father through the name of our Lord Jesus (the first) Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of His Church, His body, His Family and is Himself its Savior (Salvation).  Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved His Church and gave Himself up for her, for He sanctified her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that He might present His Church to Himself in (glory) splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does His Church, because we are members of His body. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and His Church. However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband."

Of the Incarnation,

1Timothy 3:1-7, 8-13, 14-16 Paul speaking to Timothy. "The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore any overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's Church? He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare of the devil.
Deacons likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not double-minded, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain. A deacon must hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. And let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless. Their wives likewise must be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, faithful in all things. Let deacons each be the husband of one wife, managing their children and their own households well. For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ as Jesus.
I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the Household of GOD, which is His Church of the living God, a pillar and buttress (support) of the truth. For great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory."

Of Suffering, Jesus our example of,

Hebrews 12:1-2, 3-11, 12-13 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely to us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of GOD.
Consider Him who endured from sinners (wicked ones) such hostility against Himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted. In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord (Job 5:17), nor be weary when reproved by Him (Proverbs 3:11). For the LORD disciplines the one He loves (Proverbs 3:12, Psalm 119:75), and He chastises every son whom He receives (Revelation 3:19)." It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are left without discipline, in which all have participate, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, that we may share His Holiness. For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be remain out of joint but rather be healed."

From here on I will look at other passages of GOD's revelation of Christ, as all secret things belong to Him and His sons and daughter, who willing give up the world and then seek Him as Christ for them.
