Just when I thought that we were at the end of the line in our search of the delusions that the evil one inflects against not only the lost but those in religions trap, here comes a whole group more for us to look at. You know the very things that are common to man no matter his ideology or theology, such things as deceit, lying which is condemned, falsehood, the prevalence of deceit, the deception of the religious person to name but a few. So here goes and I think that because it is still technically a delusion given to the sons of disobedience and lawlessness, who are heirs of Satan's character and ideologies I will leave the heading at least for now as it is.
Liars Condemned,
Psalm 63:11 of 9-11 "But those who seek to destroy my life (soul) shall go down into the depths of the earth; they shall be given over to the power of the sword; they shall be a portion for jackals. But the king shall rejoice in GOD; all who swear by Him shall exult, for the mouths of liars will be stopped."
Proverbs 19:5 of 1-6 and 9 of 7-11 "Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool. Desire without knowledge is not good, and whoever makes haste with his feet misses his way. When a man's folly brings his way to ruin, his heart rages against the LORD. Wealth brings many new friends, but a poor man is deserted by his friend. A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape. Many seek the grace of a generous man, and everyone is a friend to a man who gives gifts."
Proverbs 19:9 of 7-11 "All a poor man's brothers hate him; how much more do his friends go far from him! He pursues them with words, but does not have them. Whoever gets sense loves his own soul; he who keeps understanding will discover good. A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will perish. Proverbs 12:5 of 1-8 "Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid. A good man obtains grace from the LORD, but a man of evil devices HE condemns. No one is established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous will never be moved. An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, but she who brings shame is like rottenness in his bones. The thoughts of the righteous are just; the counsels of the wicked are deceitful. The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of the upright delivers them.
