Continuing with Our Eternal link to GOD in Christ as exposed by Him, the I AM. Part 5i.9.1

 In our last visit we pulled up the OT LXX for the word and meaning of GOD, which the Strong's shows a H430 and only that while the LXX had 1012-H with many variants for it. My point is that the language of the Ancients may differ but not by that much. After that was done I turned our attention to our requirement of the accepting of the "yoke" or shepherds staff as our way of acquiring the renewed mind of Romans 12:1-2 which says this from the KJV and it is Paul speaking by the Spirit: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of GOD, that we present your bodies a living sacrifice (Luke 9:23, Mark 8:34; 1Cor. 15:31), holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." For me the key word here is "mercies," because the rest should fall in line with our last visit's studies.

Now for the OT 'mercies, mercy" and then the NT. In the OT alone there are 208 verses and 217 matches to the word, mercy, then I changed it up to mercies and found that they were both equal in number 39 each with the Strong's numbers of H7356, meaning compassion  and H2617 meaning kindness, for each category. Now for the NT, for mercy there were 53 verses and 59 matches which covered G1653 and G1656 with another of G3629 and a G448, but for mercies there were 5 and 5 with Strong's G3628 only in Hebrews 10:28 for mercy, applied to those under the Mosaic Law, ie,,,no mercy shown them. Paul in effect showed that mercy and mercies are shared by those of the yoke, ie..the Cross daily acknowledged by the learners of Jesus. With the added benefit of the renewing of the mind, again tying these things together in a neat package for us. That is to say the putting all scriptures linked together as we learn of Jesus in us.
