Continuing with Our Eternal link to GOD in Christ as exposed by Him, the I AM. Part 5i.9.1a

     Continuing with the thoughts of our last post, this time I will look again at Jeremiah's Lamentation's chapter 3 verses 22 and 23 which say this in the KJV: "It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because His (mercies H7355) compassion's fail not. They are new (H2319; NT G342) every morning: great is His faithfulness."

After spending some time on this by means of checking and cross checking the passages, using my e-Sword program on my cell phone, I believe that Paul is speaking of this in his Romans record in chapter 12 verses 1 and 2 (because of what Luke says in chapter 1 verse 50, which is: "His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation." This taken from Exodus 20:6 and 7: "Shewing mercy to thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain.) in which this is, again in the KJV:  "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of GOD, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to GOD, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed (G3339) by the renewing (G342) of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD."

In my deliberations of this morning, while sitting alone in my auto waiting on another to do their grocery shopping, I came upon the following, while looking at Luke 14:27 which was shared in Part 5i.9 towards the end of this post. Here's what it says: "'Whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after Me, cannot be My disciple.'" It is also spoken in the same way in Matthew 10:38, the rest have this as stated here in: Luke 9:23-25 "And he (Jesus) said to them all, "If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for My sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?'" Then I proceeded to share a list of cross references to this passage. It was this passage that caught my eyes, Lamentations 3:22-23.

Strong's #2319: AHLB#: 2151 (N)

2151) Sdh% (Sdh% HhDSh) ac: Renew co: New moon ab: New: The first crescent of the moon as the renewal of the moon, the first day of the month. [from: dh - restoration]
V) Sdh% (Sdh% Hh-DSh) - Renew: To make something like new through repair, restoration, or replacement. [freq. 10] (vf: Hitpael, Piel) |kjv: renew, repair| {str: 2318}

Then I looked again at Paul's letter to the Romans in 12:1-2: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies (of which there are many classes or positions of as seen in earlier posts) of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to GOD, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed (G3339) by the renewing (G432; OT H2319) of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD."

New Testament Strong's translation of transformed, G3339: metamorphoō   met-am-or-fo'-o  From G3326 [meta   met-ah'  A primary preposition (often used adverbially); properly denoting accompaniment; “amid” (local or causal); modified variously according to the case (genitive case association, or accusative case succession) with which it is joined; occupying an intermediate position between G575 or G1537 and G1519 or G4314; less intimate than G1722, and less close than G4862): - after (-ward),X that he again, against, among, X and, + follow, hence, hereafter, in, of, (up-) on, + our, X and setting, since, (un-) to, + together, when, with (+ -out). Often used in composition, in substantially the same relations of participation or proximity, and transfer or sequence.] and G3445 [morphoō   mor-fo'-o  From the same as G3444; to fashion (figuratively): - form.]; to transform (literally or figuratively “metamorphose”): - change, transfigure, transform.

The renewing of our mind is G432 of the Strong's translators: anakainōsis   an-ak-ah'ee-no-sis  From G341 [anakainoō   an-ak-ahee-no'-o  From G303 [ana   an-ah'  A primary preposition and adverb; properly up; but (by extension) used (distributively) severally, or (locally) at (etc.): - and, apiece, by, each, every (man), in, through. In compounds (as a prefix) it often means (by implication) repetition, intensity, reversal, etc. A restoring to the status of Gen. 2.] and a derivative of G2537 {kainos   kahee-nos'  Of uncertain affinity; new (especially in freshness; while G3501 is properly so with respect to age): - new.}; to renovate: - renew.]; renovation: - renewing. As is my contention remains that with GOD all things are in deed possible.

Note: also that nothing herein is about the religious call to repentance, as this is to change one's own mind by doing (a works of the flesh) a turning around to go another way.

Now, I have heard many say that they wished that they knew the Will of GOD for their lives, well here is a part of just that. I say "a part of" because we each have a different calling of position or learning of  or job to do. But the overall end is the same for everyone by His Spirit, not our own works.
