Ephesians Lesson 24 of 39 part 2

1Corinthians 2:13
"Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."
What is Paul saying? "How many people lean on what men have said?" We know the philosophers of ancient Greece said some tremendously appropriate things, and they made a lot of sense, but they are not Scripture. They are still the things that men teach. On the other hand, when we take the things that the Holy Spirit has prompted men to write, and we bring this into focus in the Light of the New Covenant, and to revelation of Genesis 1 and 2, now we have something more than what men teach. We have the spiritual, the everything that the earthy, practical, natural man lacks. Because we have the undefiled, innocence of mans first beginnings, naked and knew it not if you will. This is the point to which our re-birthing is to bring us as new born, this is having the mind of Christ and not the knowledge of the tree of good and evil which produces the fruit of the flesh. We are now within the Living New Covenant God's new Israel of faith beings in His Righteousness and Holiness, Not of our doing or making but His.

1Corinthians 2:14
"But the natural man* receives not the things of the Spirit of God; (it is impossible for him. Why?) for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
*the unbeliever, disbelieving one, many say that they are believers but we do not care if they are in a religious attitude in church every Sunday or when ever. They are still unsaved by God's standards and in the natural they will remain as lost, having a knowledge of good and evil only.
When we are talking with a professing believer they are actually an unbeliever, and we try to express some of the deeper things in scripture, we then expect them to look at us with a blank look because they can’t help it. The Bible says, "They can not know about these things. The spiritual things must be spiritually discerned." All must have the Holy Spirit the Spirit of God and not a copy cat spirit of misdirection which the enemy of man does give freely. For even the priest's of old Egypt could do the things of Aaron and Moses except the last one. So the unbelieving world those that profess one thing are in effect something else and will argue and fuss with you and give you all their ideas, and opinions but listen, it is nothing but secular gibberish. But when they finally get the Spirit of God, then they can certainly comprehend. That is why Paul makes it so common for the believer to understand these deep and then the deeper things of God, and he expects, no He requires us to understand them.

Ephesians 3:17-18
"That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love*, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;"
*that is the Love of God that brought us unto Himself, that we comprehend all things spiritual. First by the inner witness, a knowing then with the renewed mind of Christ because the source of Life is to all men and this source is the Father of spirits.
We can step into a whole new spectrum of spiritual understanding, and the unbelieving world can not get that. But oh listen, for us, it is all here if we will just search it out and ask for it with the expectation of receptivity as a young child. Just as when that innocent young child is waiting for his grandparents to bring him a new bicycle.

Ephesians 3:19
"And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God." (Read that verse again)
