Discovering the Great and Precrious Promises of GOD (warnings of abuse of our liberty)

In my last post I covered GODS Liberty. Now I will cover the Warning of Abuse against that Liberty. Like with GODS many Promises His Liberty has also warnings against its being abused. GOD says I will do this or that, IF you do this or that. But how many of us really hear those conditions and then stick to them, not many. Why? Because we usually only hear and learn about them through the mouth of another. Instead of hearing it from the Holy Spirit within us and again why is that. Many of our churches and religious denominations and their institutions of higher learning are not equipped with Spirit led men and women, is why.

Warnings against the Abuse of Liberty:
1Corinthians 8:7-13 "However, not all possess this knowledge. But some, through former association with idols, eat food as really offered to an idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled. Food will not commend us to GOD. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do. But take care that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak. For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol's temple, will he not be encouraged, if his conscience is weak, to eat food offered to idols? And so by your knowledge this weak person is destroyed, the brother for whom Christ died. Thus, sinning against your brothers and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ. Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble."

Galatians 5:13-15, 16-17 "For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do."

1Peter 2:13-17 "Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by Him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the Will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear (reverence only) GOD. Honor the emperor."
