Discovering the Great and Precrious Promises of GOD (spiritual cleansing)

Before we all start our journey we start life devoid of spiritual knowledge being separated from GOD in a much different kingdom. Under a powerful spiritual influence of darkness. We exist in a realm devoid of true love. In this kingdom we are influenced by every manor of instability no matter how small, it seems larger than life. Our lives were built upon the sand of mans philosophical speculations and human inadequacies. What is needed to bring about a change is a spiritual cleansing which when sought for and then received will bring release from our former way of life. It is from this perspective that I will approach our next word....of promise our Spiritual Cleansing.

Spiritual Cleansing Enjoined:
Isaiah 1:10-15, 16-17, 18-20  "Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; give ear to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah. To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? said the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand, to tread My courts? Bring no more vain oblations; your incense is an abomination to Me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with them; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates: they are all troublesome nuances to Me; I am weary to bear them. And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide My eyes from you: yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
You wash, make yourself clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Come now, and let us reason together, said the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land: But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it."

Jeremiah 4:14-18 "O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your vain thoughts lodge within you? For a voice declares from Dan, and publishes affliction from mount Ephraim. Make mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah. As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she has been rebellious against Me, said the LORD.  Their way and their doings have procured these things to you; this is their wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reaches to your heart."

Acts 22:11, 12-16 (Paul is here speaking) "When I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
One Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Hebrews which dwelt there, came to me, and stood, and said to me, Brother Saul, receive your sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him. He said, The God of our fathers has chosen you, that you should know His Will, and see that Just One, and should hear the voice of His mouth. For you shall (will) be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now why tarry you? arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord."

1Corinthians 5:1-5, 6-8, 9-13  "It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named even among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. You are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that has done this deed might be taken away from among you. For I, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that has so done this deed, in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our LORD Christ Jesus, to deliver such an one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Your glorying is not good. Know you not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
I wrote to you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must you needs go out of the world. But now I have written to you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not you judge them that are within? But them that are without God judges. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person."

2Corinthians 6:14-18, 7:1-4 "Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness? And what concord has Christ with Belial? or what part has he that believes with an infidel? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for you are the Temple of the living GOD; as GOD has said, 'I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their GOD, and they shall be My people.'
Wherefore come out from among them, and be separate, said the LORD, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father to you, and you shall (will) be My sons and daughters, said the LORD Almighty.
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting Holiness in the fear (reverence) of God. Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man. I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that you are in our hearts to die and live with you. Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation."

2Timothy 2:14-19, 20-26 "Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the LORD that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to show yourself approved to GOD, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of Truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their word will eat as does a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the Truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless the foundation of GOD stands sure, having this seal, The LORD knows them that are His. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel to honor, sanctified, and meet (fit) for the Master's use, and prepared to every good work. Therefore flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the LORD out of a pure heart. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the LORD must not strive; but be gentle to all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if GOD peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the Truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will."

James 4:1-10 "From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not. You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts. You are adulterers and adulteresses, you know not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of GOD. Do you think that the scripture said in vain, The spirit that dwells in us lusts to envy? But He gives more Grace. Wherefore He said, GOD resists the proud, but gives Grace to the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to GOD. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh (near) to GOD, and HE will draw nigh to (within) you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and He shall lift you up."

1John 3:1-3, 4-10, 11-12 "Behold, what manner of Love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of GOD: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew HIM not. Beloved, now are we the sons of GOD, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when HE shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as HE is. And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as HE is pure.
Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. Whosoever abides in Him sins not: whosoever sins has not seen Him, neither known Him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. He that committees sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of GOD was manifested, that HE might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of GOD does not commit sin; for His seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of GOD. In this the children of GOD are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of GOD, neither he that loves not his brother.
For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous."

With this study comes such words as, Holiness, Righteousness and Sanctification which will be covered.
