Our Divine Spiritual Richness

I see that some people watch the move of GOD through another and then think that they can clone the work of the Holy Spirit to do the same thing. Or even themselves to become a child or children of GOD. This is an impossibility no one can clone the Holy Spirit's work by any fashion as seen in Acts 8:18, or even within themselves for either one is or one is not, filled and moved by Him, it is that simple. Watchman Nee in his book titled "The Latent Power of the Soul" reveals this truth also. My subject for today is Christ the Lamb of GOD. And Pastor Hoekstra and his teaching on Grace and how it is that we receive Jesus' faith in Christ. The anointed Spirit restore to us. And when in possession of His Spirit we have Salvation, by His Faith. For if all we have is ourselves we deceive ourselves because if we have not Christ's Spirit within we remain none of His. Now using the ESV translation and under the direction of the LORD I will share Pastor Hoekstra's writing and look at Christ the Lamb of GOD. Now here is a Promise that was given me back in the spring of 1985, I will speak through you, 'take no thought of what to say or speak' in Matthew 10:19 and Luke 12:11.

 "Assurance of Salvation through Faith"

"And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." (1John 5:11-13)

"If we grow in Grace, we must live by faith. "Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace" (Romans 4:16). If our faith is to develop and mature, we must know where faith comes from. Jesus (and His word) is the source of our faith. "Looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith . . . faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Hebrews 12:2 and Romans 10:17). As we get to know our LORD better and better, as we get into His word more and more, our faith grows. As our faith grows, we experience the Grace of GOD in increasing ways. One of the wonderful workings of GOD's Grace is to bring us assurance of salvation through faith.

Some people wonder if they are saved. Others hope that they are saved. Still others think that they might be saved. GOD wants people to know that they are saved. "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of GOD, that you may know that you have eternal life." Of course, salvation (the gift of spiritual restoration is eternal life) is given to those who "believe in the name of the Son of GOD." This means that they trust in the person and work of Christ. They believe He is GOD, the Son. They believe He died and rose victorious over sin and death. Many who have entered into salvation are, nonetheless, without assurance of this great gift.

Assurance is imparted through the consideration of the previous testimony of the faithful and true word of GOD. "And this is the testimony: that GOD has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son." The gift of eternal life has truly been provided for by the Lord, Who is LORD as know in the beginning. However, the Father wants us to be reminded that this eternal life is "in His Son." Everlasting life is not some "packaged blessing" that comes to us separate from Jesus. The life GOD has for us is found through a dependent relationship with a person, Jesus. If we have Jesus in our lives, we have the life that is found in Him. "He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of GOD does not have life." If we have invited the LORD into our lives, He now dwells in us. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of GOD" (John 1:12). Jesus is the Christ and gives us assurance of salvation through faith in Him."

Savior, Called the Lamb of GOD,

Isaiah 53:7-9 "He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth. By oppression and judgment He was taken away; and as for His generation, who considered that He was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of My people? And they made His grave with the wicked and with a rich man in His death, although He had done no violence, and there was no deceit in His mouth."

John 1:29-34 "The next day he [John the Baptist] saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of GOD, who takes away the sin of the world! This is He of Whom I said, 'After me comes a man Who ranks before me, because He was before me.' I myself did not know Him, but for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that He might be revealed to Israel." And John bore witness: "I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained on Him. I myself did not know Him, but HE Who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'He on Whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is He Who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.' And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of GOD."

1Corinthians 5:6-8 "Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Let us therefore celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."

1Peter 1:17-21 and Revelation 5:6-10, 6:1-2 "If you call on Him as Father Who judges impartially according to each one's deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you who through Him are believers of GOD, Who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in GOD."

Revelation 5:6-10 "I saw between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of GOD sent out into all the earth. And He went and took the scroll from the right hand of Him Who was seated on the throne. And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seals, for You were slain, and by Your blood You ransomed people for GOD from every tribe and language and people and nation, and You have made them a kingdom and priests to our GOD, and they shall reign on the earth."

Revelation 6:1-2 "I (John) watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, "Come!" And I looked, and behold, a white horse [this could say, the pale white horse of the false Christ]! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer."

Revelation 7:9-12 and 17:8-14, 19:9-10 "I [John] looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our GOD Who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped GOD, saying, "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our GOD forever and ever! Amen."

Revelation 17:8-14 "The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come. This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated; they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction. And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast. These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast. They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for He is LORD of lords and King of kings, and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful."

Revelation 19:9-10 "And angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he said to me, "These are the true words of GOD." Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God." For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

Revelation 21:22 "I [John] saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the LORD GOD the Almighty and the Lamb. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of GOD gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb. By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it, and its gates will never be shut by day—and there will be no night there. They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations. But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life."
