We are about to see what the Lord Jesus spoke of when He stated that He saw the devil thrown out of heaven, in Luke 10:18. We are about to hear the witness to this event. If I might take a liberty here to say that those who focus on demonology are those who may have something to hide.
Revelation 12:7-12 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; And the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; Neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." (KJV)

And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!" (ESV)
Revelation 12:7-12 "Mikael and his Shepherd-Messengers led the war in the heavenly realm against the Dragon and his Herding-Heralds. (Mikael means, "Who is like GOD?" The context of the onslaught against the human race has always been identity-related! The fruit of the "I-am-not tree system!" Jesus faced this temptation on humanity's behalf, "If you are the Son of GOD?" See John 10:30-36, Also my comments on being "earthbound in Rev. 17:8 and 16:16.) The Dragon's influence was totally demolished and rendered powerless - not a trace of its presence was found in the heavens! (Principalities and powers were completely disarmed on the cross! Colossians 2:14-15, "And their place was not found" see also Daniel 2:35, - the little stone against the pseudo man-made identity. There are numerious references to the same "once and for all war" in the heavens! It is however the same hour; The same event! Rev. 16:13-14, 17:13-14, 19:19 and 20:8.) So the great Dragon, the [1] ancient [2] ophis [serpent], also known as the Devil or Satan - whose sole mission is to lead the entire inhabited world astray - was cast down to the earth-dimension, together with all his [3] herding-Heralds. (The word, [1, G744 from G746 from G756 ] archaios, ancient, primeval, of old; is from (G746 archomai, to rehearse old wivestails.) arche, from the beginning. As Jesus said that the Devil was a murderer "from the beginning" the Greek word, [2, G3789 from G3700 optomai, the first a (middle voice) prolonged form of the second (primary) which is used for it in certain tenses; and both as alternates of G3708; to gaze (that is, with wide open eyes, as at something remarkable; and thus differing from G991, which denotes simply voluntary observation; and from G1492, which expresses merely mechanical, passive or casual vision; while G2300, and still more emphatically its intensive G2334, signifies an earnest but more continued inspection; and G4648 a watching from a distance): - appear, look, see, shew self.] (G3789) ophis is translated serpent and comes from (G3700) optomai, to gaze, in this case, to present a visual idea through illusions. In John 8:44. He was stripped of his pseudo rank of authority, see Colossians 2:14-15, "he was made a public spectacle!" Luke 10:18, And Jesus said to them, 'I saw Satan falling out of Heaven like a lightening bolt!' Also in John 12:31, 'Now is the judgment of this world; Now the ruler of this world shall be cast down!' ['When I am lifted up on the cross.' John 12:32] The word often translated angel, [3, G32 aggellō (was probably derived from G71; compare G34] aggelos has two components, (G71) ago, to lead as a Shepherd leads and (G34) agele, a herd of cattle or company.) Then I heard a very loud voice in the heavens announcing, "This is the moment which the entire prophetic word pointed to and culminates in; it is the realization of humanity's salvation. The power of the kingdom of our GOD and its authority is endorsed in the I-am-ness of His Christ. The business of accusation is bankrupted. The 24/7 industry of condemning the brotherhood of humanity before the face of GOD has been annihilated." (The word, [1, G2725 is from G2596 and G58 ] kategoros, a name given to the Devil by the Rabbis, the one whose business is accusation, is from (G2596) kata, meaning downward and (G58) agora, to trade; A word used for all kinds of business in the public arena.
Luke 10:18, also John 12:27, My soul is exceedingly perplexed right now! What shall I say, 'Father! Rescue me [1] out of the clutches of this hour! No! This hour is the very culmination of My destiny!' (Geek preposition, [1] ek, out of; source; origin.)
John 12:28-33, "'Father! Glorify Your name!' And immediately there came a voice out of the heavenly realm saying, 'I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again!' the crowd heard the voice and said that it had thundered; Others thought it was the voice of an Shepherd-Messenger. Jesus replied, 'This voice was not for My sake but for yours!' (Signs are for unbelievers. 1Corinthians 2:14-15.) This is the judgment of this world; It is the moment where the authority of the world-systems are cast out!' ( The serpent's head is about to be crushed! Gen. 3:15, Col. 2:14-15) When I am [1] lifted up from the earth, I will draw all judgment to Me! (He would be lifted up oh became the doorway for Him to descend into the depths of our hell, then, according to the prophetic word in Hosea 6:2, after two days be lifted up as representative of the human race, out of the lowest parts of the earth and elevated to the highest heavens! Ephesians 4:8-9, see also Eph. 2:5-6 and Col. 3:1-3. All things include all of humanity and their judgment. The subject of the sentence as from the previous verse is the judgment of the world - thus the primary thought here is that in His death, Jesus would draw every definition of judgment upon Himself! In John 3:14, 8:28, acts 2:33, 1John 3:5, we have witnessed with our own eyes how, in the unveiling of the prophetic word, when He was [1] lifted up upon the cross as the Lamb of GOD, He lifted up our sins and broke their dominion and rule over us! [John 1:29, "Behold, the Lamb of GOD, who takes away [airo] the sin of the world! The word [1, G142] airo means to lift up]) This he said to point to the way in which he would die. (See John 19:15 - Lift Him up! Lift Him up! Crucify Him!) Mikael and his Shepherd-Messengers [representing the entire host of heaven - including all the multitudes previously mentioned] conquered the Dragon because of the blood of the little Lamb and the word of their testimony! They did not believe that the agape of life discovered in Christ can be threatened or [1] terminated in death! (The blood of the Lamb brought closure to every possible accusation against the human race. This is the testimony of the prophetic word announcing the Good News throughout the ages. An [1] eruption of the belly-laughter followed in the heavenlies and in all those inhabiting this realm. Woe to the land and sea for the Devil was cast down there in great embarrassment, seeing that his time has run out! (The word, [1, G2165 is from G2095 and G5424 ] euphraino , jubilant, is from (G2095) eu, well done; Extravagantly good; and (G5424) phren, the midriff or diaphram, the innermost parts of the heart. This makes Paul's appeal in Col. 3:1-3 so relevant! Engagae your minds with heavenly dimension realities and not with the earthbound soul realm. See Notes on Armageddon, Rev. 16.)
