The LORD our Passover

Continuing with the indexing of May 12

Now picking it back up with Stephens testimony at verse 50: “Has
not My hand made all these things? You stiff necked and
uncircumcised in heart and ears, you do always resist the Holy
Ghost: as your fathers did, so do you.

Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which showed before of the coming of the Just One; of Whom you have been now the betrayers and murderers: Who have received the law by the disposition of angels (they considered the LORD an angel, Who spoke to Moses), and have not kept it. When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, and said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and “the Son of man” standing on the right hand of God.

Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, and cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul. And they stoned Stephen, Stephen calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Saul was consenting to his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.”

I said this to say this, what really set these Hebrew Priest's off is found back in verse 17 through 46 but I want you the read it on your own and pay care to lesson closely to all that Stephen says.
Now by way of what some may call purely coincidence Saul of Tarsus was outside of the city of Jerusalem and also Damascus on the road to the later when he was called in a very unusual way by GOD. But this was not what keep him from honoring his heritage, what he tells us in 1Corinthians 4 just may be the reason, looking at verses 1 through 13 and then again verses 14 through 20 we find this;
“Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards (A steward (G3623) is the master of the house (entrusted by the true Master) and is accountable to the Master of this house. A true “Christian” is one who is accountable solely to God and is therefore a steward of His house because he holds responsibility for this Gospel message.) of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yes, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but He that judges me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, Who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. And these things, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that you might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. For who makes you to differ from another? and what have you that you did not receive? now if you did receive it (the “it” here is revelation of Christ which was held as a mystery or secret), why do you glory, as if you had not received it? Now you are full, now you are rich, you have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God that you did reign, that we also might reign with you. For I think that God has set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacles to the world, and to angels, and to men. We are (counted) fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honorable, but we are despised. Even to this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place; And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the off scouring of all things to this day. (This may be the lot of all those like Saul who turned their backs to the families heritage in Judaism to face God In Christ head on. As required of any good soldier when enlisted. Looking to John 9:22-23 “These words spoke his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that He (Jesus) was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue. Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.”) I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.

For though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have you not many fathers: for In Christ Jesus I have begotten you through this Gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be you followers (imitators) of me (and some passages add, as I am of Christ). For this cause have I sent to you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be In Christ, as I teach every where in every church. Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you. But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power (the Grace of Christ within, which imbues His strength through our knowledge of Him as His stewards). For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power (the strength of conviction, an inner knowing or knowledge of Him). What will you? shall I come to you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness (meekness, is not weakness but rather is the power of conviction and absolute knowledge under restraint and control of His kingdom rule)?”

The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing for May 11th

Next comes John 19 where we find this beginning at verse 23 reading down through to verse 30, “Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also His coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which said, They parted My raiment among them, and for My vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did. Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple standing by, whom He loved, He said to His mother, Woman, behold your son! Then said He to the disciple, Behold your mother! And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished*, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to His mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.”

* “all things were now accomplished” means just exactly what it implies, the alloted time for Israel's being was now at its appointed end or close, as Jesus by His vicarious death brought about its close as the Law, Prophets and Psalms reveal as His goal, the point aimed at. The Greek word here used is teleo G5055 from G5056 which has this meaning, to end.

May 12

Picking up at; John 16:2-3 “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yes, the time comes, that whoever kills you will think that he does God service. And these things will they do to you, because they have not known the Father, nor Me.”

Saul of Tarsus was not converted in the usual manor as stated in the following because he was a Pharisee's Pharisee an as such was a persecutor of those of the Way as stated in Acts 8:1, 22:20. I will pick it up at the end of chapter 7 where we find this from Stephens own words, beginning in verse 47 through 8:4; “Solomon built him a house. Howbeit the most High dwells not in temples made with hands; as said the prophets, Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool: what house will you build Me? said the Lord: or what is the place of My rest? (many do not see or hear what Genesis 1 and 2 are saying about His rest in 1:31 through 2:4 where we find this beginning at verse 26 through 28, and then 31 of Chapter 1 through 2:5; “God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them (Here we have the beginning of all things as spoken before the foundation of the world was laid, man is a spirit being united to the LORD-God as the following statement reveals. Lesson with all due care.). And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.... God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

On the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. God therefore blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made. These are the beginning of generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD-God made the earth and the heavens, and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD-God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.”

The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing for May 11th

Looking to Psalm 50 where we have the following statement, “Hear, O My people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, your God. I will not reprove you for your sacrifices or your burnt offerings, to have been continually before Me. I will take no bullock out of your house, nor he goats out of your folds. For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are Mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you: for the world is Mine, and the fullness thereof. Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? Offer to God thanksgiving; and pay your vows to the Most High (a gentile term for Elohim): And call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

But to the wicked God says, What have you to do to declare My statutes, or that you should take My covenant in your mouth? Seeing you have instruction, and cast My words behind you. When you saw a thief, then you consented with him, and have been partakers with adulterers. You gave your mouth to evil, and your tongue frame deceit. You sit and speak against your brother (speaking of Christ Jesus); you slander your own mother's son. These things have you done, and I kept silence; you thought that I was altogether such an one as yourselves: but I will reprove you, and set them in order before your eyes.

Now consider this, you that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Whoso offers praise glorifies Me: and to him that orders his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God.”

The next passage comes from Isaiah 66 beginning at verse 1 through 6 to capture the whole thought we find this; “Thus says the LORD, The heavens are My throne, and the earth is My footstool: where is the house that you build for Me? and where is the place of My rest? For all those things have My hand made, and all those things have been, said the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at My word. He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offers an oblation, as if he offered Me swine's blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.

I also will choose their delusions (punishment), and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. Hear the word of the LORD, you that tremble at His word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for My name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but He shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that renders recompense to His enemies.”

From this we have Psalm 109:3 listed which has this to say beginning at verse 1 through 5, “Hold not Your peace, O God of My praise; For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against Me: they have spoken against Me with a lying tongue. They compassed Me about also with words of hatred; and fought against Me without a cause. For My love they are My adversaries: but I give Myself to prayer. And they have rewarded Me evil for good, and hatred for My love.”

Now turning to John 2 and verse 17 and I will pick it up at verse 13 through 22 where we find this; “The Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, and found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when He had made a scourge of small cords, He drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said to them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not My Father's house an house of merchandise.

And His disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of Your house has eaten Me up*. Then answered the Jews and said to Him, What sign show You to us, seeing that You do these things? Jesus answered them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. To this the Jews said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and will You rear it up in three days? But He spoke of the temple of His body. When therefore He was risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.”

*This is found in Psalm 69:9 and 119:39 where we find this; 69:9 “For the zeal of Your house has eaten Me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached You are fallen upon Me.” and then; 119:139-142 "My zeal has consumed Me, because My enemies have forgotten Your words. Your word is very pure: therefore Your servant loves it. I am small and despised: yet I do not forget Your precepts. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is the truth.”

The LORD our Passover

Continuing the indexing for May 11th

Now skipping down to John 15:25 we find this quoted there beginning at verse 24; “If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both Me and My Father. But this come to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, “They hated Me without a cause.”I shared a quote from John Gill's Commentary on the Entire Bible which I will not repeat here but I will look at the referenced passages of Psalm 7:4, 35:19, 69;4, 23-29, 31 which contain the abolition of the Mosaic Law and then Isaiah 66:3, Psalm 109:3 and John 2:17 and 19:28. To this I will add John 12:36 and then 1Thessalonians 5:5 for your further consideration.

Psalm 7 beginning at verse 1 through 5 we find this dealing with the last phrase, “They hated Me without cause”; “O LORD My God, in You do I put My trust: save Me from all them that persecute Me, and deliver Me: Lest they tear My soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

O LORD My God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in My hands; If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with Me; (yes, I have delivered him that without cause is My enemy:) Let the enemy persecute My soul, and take it; yes, let him tread down My life upon the earth, and lay My honor in the dust.”

In Psalm 35 beginning with verse 9 through 16 then 17 through 21 we find this also dealing with the Lord's statement and keep in mind that David is stating what can be called the Fathers talking of His Son in eternity past; “And My soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in His salvation. All My bones shall say, LORD, who is like to You, which deliver the poor from him that is too strong for him, yes, the poor and the needy from him that spoils him? False witnesses did rise up; they laid to My charge things that I knew not. They rewarded Me evil for good to the spoiling of My soul. But as for Me, when they were sick, My clothing was sackcloth: I humbled My soul with fasting; and My prayer returned into My own bosom. I behaved Myself as though He had been My friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourns for his mother. But in My adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yes, the abjects gathered themselves together against Me, and I knew it not; they did tear Me, and ceased not: With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon Me with their teeth.

Lord, how long will You look on? rescue My soul from their destructions, My darling from the lions. I will give You thanks in the great congregation: I will praise You among much people. Let not them that are My enemies wrongfully rejoice over Me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate Me without a cause. For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land. Yes, they opened their mouth wide against Me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.”

In Psalm 69 we find this also, beginning at verse 1 through 4 and then 5 through 12 and I saw another grouping from verse 13 through 15 and then verse 31 beginning in verse 29 through 33 we find this; “Save Me, O God; for the waters are come in to My soul. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow Me. I am weary of My crying: My throat is dried: My eyes fail while I wait for My God. They that hate Me without a cause are more than the hairs of My head: they that would destroy Me, being My enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

O God, You know My foolishness; and My sins are not hid from You. Let not them that wait on You, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for My sake: let not those that seek You be confounded for My sake, O God of Israel. Because for Your sake I have borne reproach; shame has covered My face. I am become a stranger to My brethren, and an alien to My mother's children. For the zeal of Your house (the Isra-El of God's own rule) has eaten Me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached You are fallen upon Me. When I wept, and chastened My soul with fasting, that was to My reproach. I made sackcloth also My garment; and I became a proverb to them. They that sit in the gate speak against Me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

But as for Me, My prayer is to You, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of Your mercy hear Me, in the truth of Your salvation. Deliver Me out of the mire, and let Me not sink: let Me be delivered from them that hate Me, and out of the deep waters. Let not the waterflood overflow Me, neither let the deep swallow Me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon Me.........But I am poor and sorrowful: let Your salvation, O God, set Me up on high. I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. This also shall pleases the LORD better than an ox or bullock that has horns and hoofs. The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. For the LORD hears the poor, and despises not his prisoners.” In this last stanza is found the hidden the absolution of the Mosaic Law, look at Psalm 50 and the verses beginning with verse 7 through to the end paying particular attention to verses 13, 14, and 23 as this bears witness to this statement.

The LORD our Passover

Beginning the indexing for May 10th

Here we are looking at Paul's revelation of the LORD's Last Supper/Marriage Feast or Passover meal and the revelation of our unity In Him through our rightly dividing and understanding the significance of this meal. It is in this process that we become son's of God again as in the beginning, as revealed in Genesis 2:7 and 21-23. It is this that Peter and Paul make reference to as one "the day star arising within our heart," two as "the day of Christ" and our becoming a totally new person now acquiring His character restored within us again. This is Life Eternal for we now carry His yoke of unity with Him of Whom we have learned. This is the meaning of the LORD's High Priestly Prayer of John 17.
Indexing for May 11th
In my comments I stated this; Israel being a people, a nation through whom God would bring about the promise spoken in both Genesis 3:15 and 12:3c. As “the seed,” which is in all mankind and especially the seed of redemption which will bring about our Salvation through Christ Jesus as our LORD. As the LORD of our Passover which will bring man back to the estate of man as first found in Genesis 2:7 by the same action of verses 21 through 23 of Gen 2, in reverse. Where Jesus as Christ and LORD is the second Adam, of this same seed (1Cor. 15:22, 45). For this to happen we must accept the yoke of Him our Shepherd. (Mat. 11:29) Beginning with chapter 15 of John's synoptic gospel written many years after the LORD's return in the person of the Spirit of Holiness and Truth as seen in Acts 2:1-4, where the LORD is still speaking.

Looking at 1Corinthians 15:22, we find this beginning at verse 20; “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death (separation from the Life and Light of God), by man came also the resurrection of the dead (the re-birthing of our soul or spirit, enabling or empowering us to become His sons again). For as in Adam all die, even so In Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at His coming (this is figurative of the day star, or day of Christ when His ontological essence takes His rightful place within our hearts as His home). Then comes the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power (the treasonous, rebellious and unbelieving activities of mankind). For He must reign, till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death (the eternal separation of natural and yes even the redeemed, but this is primarily applied to natural mankind remaining separated from God). For He has put all things under His feet (the earth is His footstool). But when He said, all things are put under Him, it is manifest that He is excepted, which did put all things under Him. And when all things shall be subdued to Him, then shall the Son also Himself be subject to Him that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.”

Now look to verse 45 and I will begin at verse 42 and will carry it through verse 58 in this fashion, 42-49, 50-57, 58; “So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. (This is in agreement with the revelation of the parable of the fig-tree, natural is only good, spiritual man is possesses both goodness and truth.) And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual (Genesis 1:26-27 and 2:7, 21-23), but that which is natural (Genesis 3:1-15 wherein man becomes natural, and then 16-24 where we find mans covering for his new nature of separation from God); and afterward that which is spiritual (hidden in the old and brought to Light and Life within the context of the New beginning in Acts). The first man is (became) of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven (Spiritual, remained God ruled, the house of Isra-el). As is the earthy, such are they also that are (remain) earthy: and as is (become spiritual) the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly (Son's of God's rule, the true Isra-El of God). As we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

This I say, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (In each generation of man, there is a remnant of those who will become God's Sons. It is these Sons who hear His voice (likened as a trumpet blast) as did Saul of Tarsus. Some may even have the same kind of visual manifestation of some sort which will bring them through the eye of the needle, in a figure of death from death to Life Eternal. Into which His character is poured onto the perfect man, as living water and the daily eating of His flesh or Life imparting Word.) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the Law. But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain In the Lord.”

The LORD our Passover

Continuing with the indexing for May 9th

We have one move passage and it is found in 2John, which has this to say beginning with verse 4 through to verse 11; “I rejoiced greatly that I found of your children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. And now I beseech you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, That, as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an anti-Christ.

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has both the Father and the Son. If there come any to you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that bids him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

Lastly in John 14 verse 27 we have this said of the LORD, “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” To this I shared the following passages of reference Eze. 2:6, 37:26, John 14:1, first Ezekiel 2 verse 6 beginning at verse 1 through 7, then the hand which is extended in verse 8 through 10, we have this beginning at 7; “He said to me, Son of man, stand upon your feet, and I will speak to you. And the Spirit (breath) entered into me when He spoke to me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard Him that spoke to me. He said to me, Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me: they and their fathers have transgressed against Me, to this very day. For they are impudent children and stiff-hearted. I do send you to them; and you shall say to them, Thus says the LORD-GOD. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them. And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. And you shall speak My words to them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

You, son of man, hear what I say to you; Be not rebellious like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat that I give you. And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent to me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein; And He spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woes.”

Form here turn with me to Ezekiel chapter 37 and verse 26 beginning at verse 24 through to the last verse we find this; “David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have One shepherd: they shall also walk in My judgments, and observe My statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and My servant David shall be their prince for ever. Moreover I will make a Covenant of Peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in the midst (in the middle of them, or within them) of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yes, I will be their God, and they shall be My people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary shall be in the midst (within the middle, as in the ancient past, a time hidden, look to Gen. 2:7, 21-23) of them for evermore.”

Now for John 14 where we find this in the beginning; “Let not your heart be troubled: believe God, believe also Me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

In Ezekiel 43 verse 7 we find this; “He said to me, Son of man, the place of My throne, and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst (in the middle as within), the children of Israel forever, and My Holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.” (Then in Ezekiel 20:40-41 we have this spoken, “For in My holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, says the LORD-GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve Me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the first-fruits of your oblations, with all your holy things. I will accept you with your sweet savor, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein you have been scattered; and I will be sanctified In you before the heathen (one unacquainted with the Living God, usually applied to those who worship idols or those who fornicate with the world).” (Again look at Psalm 2:8)

I must say this about the name or title of Isra-el, this means; God prevails or God rules. And these are those who have become sons of God because in them, as in Jesus, God prevails. There are many who are a non-body, what I mean is this. When we have become redeemed we are given the right or power to “become” sons of God. Which simply, means that we have not yet become though we are redeemed, there remains yet another step just as there are only two Covenants there is a remaining step or a second experience that we have to acquire to become sons of God. It is this that the Gospel is designed and intended to draw us too. We are to show the LORD's death and resurrection by our very conversation or way of living in the world but not taking part in the things of evil and wickedness of the world and its many sweet things. For if the day star of 2Pet. 1:19, has arisen or if we have received His resurrection within our heart, as the day of Christ as found in Phil. 1:6, 19, 2:16 and 2Thes. 2:2, we are a totally a new person. We are no longer our own. He has become our LORD and our very Life. As we have taken His yoke upon ourselves to learn of Him. As a branch of the tree or vine into which His character is being restored and now He resides within us, by His Faith and GOD's Faithfulness.

The LORD our Passover

Continuing with the indexing for May 9th

Beginning at 1John 4:7 we find this, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God. He that loves not knows not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might Live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loves us, and sent His Son for the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loves us, we ought also to love one another. No man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell In Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son the Savior of the world.

Whoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells In him, and he In God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells In God, and God In him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. We love him, because He first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God Whom he has not seen? And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loves God love his brother also. Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loves Him that begat them loves him also that is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith.”

Then I said to look at chapter chapter 5 and we will begin at verse 5 and continue through to the end of it. Please note John's warnings as they appear throughout his letters, also keep in mind that like Jude, James and even Peter his letters are written to those Hebrew believers who have been scattered because of the trust and faith in the LORD. Scattered and persecuted because they renounced their old life in Judaism after receiving  the LORD, in His ontological essence of Spirit.

“Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is He that came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is Truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are One. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in One. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. He that believes the Son of God has the witness In himself: he that believes not God has made Him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of His Son. And this is the record, that God has given to us Eternal Life, and this Life is In His Son. (as shown in John's synoptic gospel) He that has the Son has Life; he that has not the Son of God has not Life.

These things have I written to you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have Eternal Life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have In Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His Will (Word and law or kingdom rule), He hears us: And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and He shall give him Life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

We know that whoever is born of God sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are In Him that is true, In His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and Eternal Life.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.”
