I am looking at the preeminence of Christ as that portion of Adam lost or better covered as in a seed's shell of the size of a grain of mustard seed the smallest of all seeds. This seeds shell can become like that of the old walnut tree's thick green shell as in the case of Israel's rebellion and blindness. Today we can see this more clearly expressed, as is the case of what we know as the left of a liberals agenda.
Now for my subject matter of the Humanity of Christ and then His manifestation by the incarnation of Spirit. But before doing so allow me to refresh our memories to some the Law and the Prophets. Genesis 3:15's promise to restore to mankind that was herein lost, Deuteronomy 18:18-20's speaking of the messenger of GOD anointing that is to say Christ in this prophet to come, Genesis 12:3 the restoration of the nations to faith like that of Abraham's, Ezekiel's newness of spirit restored within man in chapters 11:9, 18:31 and 36:26, the new covenant of Jeremiah 31:31, to name but a few.
Christ's Humanity, by way of a few general references to, in the person of Jesus,
Matthew 1:1 "The book (record) of the genealogy of Jesus (the ancient Yeshua [Joshua] meaning The LORD saves) Christ (Greek Christos or Messiah which means the Anointed One), the son (Samuel 7:12-16 and Psalm 89:3 of 1-4, 132:11 of 10-12, Isaiah 9:6 of 1-7 and 11:1 of 1-5; Revelation 22:16 of 16-17) of David, the son (Genesis 22:18 of 15-19 and Galatians 3:16 of 15-18) of Abraham."
Galatians 4:1-7 "I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything, but he is under guardians and managers (stewards) until the date set by his father. In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. But when the fullness of time had come, GOD sent forth His Son, born of woman, born under the law (the perfect word and will of plan and purpose for Life's way), to redeem those who were under the (another) Law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, GOD has sent the Spirit of His Son (Christ) into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through (of) GOD."
Philippians 2:1-11 "So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Having this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, Who, though He was in the form (a portion) of GOD, did not count equality with GOD a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself (of His divinity), by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason GOD has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the (hidden name of Deuteronomy 18:18-20 and 29:29) name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus [the] Christ is LORD, to the glory of GOD the Father."
1Timothy 2:1-7 "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of GOD our Savior, Who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth. For there is one GOD, and there is one mediator between GOD and men, the man Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself as a ransom (at-one-ment) for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time. For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth."
