The saga of "The Secret of GOD", part 21.1 the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are continuing with John 21 and verse 9 in the church of GODS family's first days of formation as His new born Saints begin to walk in their awaken spirituality. In the near future there awaits and other holiday it being the season of Pentecost or the time of Booths of GOD visitation and indwelling the hearts of those receptive (waiting) of Him. Jesus has set the stage for this day by His appointed death, burial, and descending into humanity's hell, there rescuing the ancients and the resurrecting with them as seen in Matthew 27:51-54 and spoken of later by Paul. And then what we are shortly to see His ascension back to His rightful home with His Father and ours.

John 21:9-14 "As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. Jesus saith unto them, 'Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.' Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. Jesus saith unto them, 'Come and dine.' And none of the disciples durst ask him, "Who art thou?" knowing that it was the Lord. Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead." (KJV)

John 21:9-14 "When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire in place, with fish laid out on it, and bread. Jesus said to them, 'Bring some of the fish that you have just caught.' So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, 153 of them. And although there were so many, the net was not torn. Jesus said to them, 'Come and have breakfast.' Now none of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish. This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead." (ESV)

John 21:9-14 "When they got out of the boat they were surprised to see a coal fire with fried fish and bread on it. Jesus suggested that they also bring some of the fish they had just caught. Simon Peter joined them and pulled the net ashore; they counted 153 large fish, and the net didn't even tear! Jesus then invited them to break their fast and feast together. By now they knew beyond a doubt that it was the Lord and didn't even bother to ask him. Jesus took the bread and handed it to them and also the fish. This was the third time Jesus appeared to the disciples since he rose from the dead." (The Mirror)

John 21:15-19 "So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, 'Simon, son of Jonas, lovest [G25] thou me more than these?' He saith unto him, "Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love [G5368] thee." He saith unto him, 'Feed my lambs.' He saith to him again the second time, 'Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?' He saith unto him, "Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee." He saith unto him, 'Feed my sheep.' He saith unto him the third time, 'Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?' Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, "Lovest thou me?" And he said unto him, "Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee." Jesus saith unto him, 'Feed my sheep.' 'Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.' This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, 'Follow me.'" (KJV)

John 21:15-19 "When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon, son of John, do you love [G25] me more than these?' He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love [G5368] you." He said to him, 'Feed my lambs.' He said to him a second time, 'Simon, son of John, do you love me?' He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, 'Tend my sheep.' He said to him the third time, 'Simon, son of John, do you love me?' Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, 'Feed my sheep. Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go.' (This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, 'Follow me.'" (ESV)

John 21:15-19 "After they had their breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, 'Simon of Jonah, do you agape [G25] me more than any of the others?' He answered, "Surely Lord, you see how fond [G5368] I am of you!" He said to him, 'Show your love for me by feeding my little lambs.' (Note the use of [G25]agapao and [G5368]phileo in this conversation.) He asked a second time, 'Simon of Jonah, do you agape me?' He answered, "Of couse Lord, you know that you are my best friend." He said, 'The shepherd my sheep' He asked him a third time, 'Simon of Jonah, are you very fond of me?' By now Peter was feeling a little uncomfortable that Jesus asked his a third time, "'Do you dearly love me?'" He answered him, "Lord I cannot hide anything from you, and you know very well how fond I am of you!" And Jesus said to him, 'Then nourish my sheep. You can mark my words, when you were younger you could choose what you wanted to wear and moved about freely wherever you wished; but there will come a time when someone else will dress you and take you where you do not want to go.' He pointed prophetically to Peter's martyrdom and death by which he would glorify GOD. And Jesus said to him, 'Follow me.' (The Mirror)

In our next visit the LORD willing, we shall finish this chapter.
