The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 2Corinthians 6:11; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are soon coming to another of those veils that the world's religious systems has keep over the eyes of its subjects for centuries now. So lets get into the chapter ever more deeply, shall we!? Herein we find that humanity is the living temple of GOD, made visible yet again as in the beginning. It becomes so fitting, the question asked of the Lord Jesus, when he said, 'will I find faith here when I return?' As recorded by Luke in 18:8. WE shall find that Paul by the eternal Spirit quotes from the Spirit the revelation of Christ. And remember that I stated that I have been looking forward to this with great anticipation of internal excitement for sometime now. After we pass through this chapter what follows is a series of chapters where Paul reveals his heart and within these we should find ours as well because we are no longer our own person but rather as we have been all along, filled with the Godhead. This is the secret that Jesus opened to door of ALL humanity's redemption for.


2Corinthians 6:11-13, 14-18 "O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. Now for a recompence(G486) in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

Be ye not unequally yoked together(G2086) with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord(G4857) hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said [in Exodus 29:45, Leviticus 26:12, Jeremiah 31:1 and Ezekiel 37:27], 'I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [then by Isaiah in 52:11 and then spoken again in Revelation 18:4] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch(G680) not the unclean(G169) thing; and I will receive you, [in 2Samuel 7:14 and then by Isaiah yet again in 43:6 and Hosea in 1:10] and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." (KJV)


2Corinthians 6:11-13, 14-18 "We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians; our heart is wide open. You are not restricted(G486) by us, but you are restricted in your own affections. In return (I speak as to children) widen your hearts also.

Do not be unequally yoked with(G2086) unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord(G4857) has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said [in Exodus 29:45, Leviticus 26:12, Jeremiah 31:1 and Ezekiel 37:27], "I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [then by Isaiah in 52:11 and then spoken again in Revelation 18:4] Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch(G680) no unclean(G169) thing; then I will welcome you, [in 2Samuel 7:14 and then by Isaiah yet again in 43:6 and Hosea in 1:10] and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty." (ESV)


2Corinthians 6:11-13, 14-18 "Precious Corinthians! Our bold words flow from hearts where you are embraced in a wide-open space! Any sense of inadequacy you might feel comes from having an inferior perception about yourselves; the gospel we communicate esteems you highly! We invite you in the most affectionate terms to respond to us without hesitation of delay or restraint. See yourselves [1,G486]mirrored in the same boundless space. ( The word, [1,G486, from a compound of G473 and G3408] antimisthia, means requital, or correspondence, which I translated here as, "mirrored." )

Faith-righteousness has nothing in common with the philosophies of karma and performance-based approval; they could never [1,G2086]balance the scales or be evenly yoked together in any context. (The word [1, G2086 from a compound of G2087 and G2218;] heterozugeo, means an unequal or different yoke; and it comes from(G2218), zegos, a yoke or a teaching; the yoke of a rabbi or philosopher represented their doctrine; possibly derived from the old Hebrew word (H6776), ztzedek, to mean the wooden beam in a scale of balances, which is the word for righteousness, The Greek stem for righteousness is dike - interesting to note that the Greek goddess of Justice is Dike [pronounced, dikay] and she is always pictured holding a scale of balance in her right hand.) There is no [1,G4857]symphony between the value that Christ reveals in people and the worthlessness that [2]Belial represents! Faith-righteousness and work based-righteousness are two opposites; they are in conflicting systems that can never ever match. (Paul uses the word [1,G4857 from G4859 which is from G4862 and G5456 ] sumphonesis which is from (G4862) sun, denoting union and (G5456 phonay, voice. Faith-righteousness is to know the truth about the redeemed life of our design; where as a works based-righteousness is to believe a lie about ourselves. The early Hebrew word, [2, G955 is from H1100, from H1097 and H3276] beliya'al literally means without profit; worthlessness. The etymology of this word has been variously given. The Talmud (Sanhedrin 111b) regards it as a compound word, made up of "beli" and "'ol" (without a yoke) which is very interesting in this context! Jesus says [in Matthew 11:28-30], 'My yoke is easy and my burden is light!' Pererson renders this, "Walk with me and work with me--watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I wont lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly.") How can the tangible, physical address of the living GOD [1G4783]compare with a phantom image that people host in their minds? Humanity is GOD's idea-we did not invent GOD or ourselves; he invented us! He said, 'In you will I reside and move and have my being; we belong together; I am yours and you are mine!' (In Ezekiel 37:27, "My dwelling place shall be with them; and I will be their GOD, and they shall be my people." The word, [1,G4783 from G4784 from a middle voice of G4862 and G2698] sugkatath-esis means, a putting together or joint deposit (of votes), hence approval, assent, agreement; you cannot vote for both systems, they are opposites!) "Consequently, escape the snare of these phantom ideas; do not reduce your horizon to become [1,G680]attached to anything that is not equally [2,G169]elevated. (In your joint seatedness in heavenly places, in your co-resurrection and co-ascension with Christ. The word, [1,G680] haptomai, means to fasten to oneself; to adhere to; to cling to. the word, [2,G169 from G1 and G2508 ] akathartos, is from(G1) ha, which we saw is a negative particle, and(G2508) kathairo, from kata, meaning intensive and airo, to lift up. The same word is used in John 15 where it was translated, to "prune, or cut off" the branches that do not bear fruit; yet the word would rather mean to life up those branches so that they may bear even more fruit!) Then you will know the embrace of our Father to simply enjoy being my sons and daughters," says the Almighty." ) (The Mirror)

I told you that this would shake up may a people especially those tied to blindness by religion. Now we have even more treasures to find. Until next time, the LORD willing, may the LORD increase his presence of light within you and yours.

In chapter six of 2Corinthians we shall see by revelation our being called out from among them, just as Enoch, Abram (who became Abraham), Isaac, Abraham's son of promise and many others over the eons of time have been. Called out as was Jesus the promised Messiah, within the scriptures when they rightly divided and brought together as in one text which is ease to understand and to see with the mind renewed by the LORD within us, the pearl of the greatest of prices and indeed a valuable treasure, of GOD's hiding and doing. I have to honest I have been looking forward to this chapter for sometime now, relax and enjoy, as we move through 6.


2Corinthians 6:1-10 "We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith [by Isaiah in 49:8], I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured(G967) thee(G4671): behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, by honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things." 2Corinthians 6:1-10 "Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For he says [by Isaiah in 49:8], "In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped(G967) you(G4671)." Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; By purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love; By truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; Through honor and dishonor, through slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and yet not killed; As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything." (ESV)

2Corinthians 6:1-10 "I want you to hear the urgency of our appeal: we are co-employed and implore you not to take GOD's grace for granted; what a waste it is to see less in grace that what GOD does! The danger is not to exaggerate what happened to humanity in Christ, but rather to understand it! (Jesus did not warn his disciples not to see him in too many peole, but certainly cautioned them not to miss him in the most unlikely! "How you trust the least is how you treat me." See 2Corinthians 1:19, "The Son of GOD, Jesus Christ, whom I Paul, Sylvanus and Timothy boldly announced in you, is GOD's ultimate yes to humanity. Human life is associated in all that he is! In GOD's mind there exists not even a hint of hesitation about this!" ) GOD declares that it is his [1,H7522]delight to do you good! [by Isaiah in 49:8] "I have heard the [3,G967]cry of the human race echo within [2,G4671]you [Jesus; Psalm 22:1] and immediately [3,G967]ran to your rescue." Now this is humanity's defining moment! See it for yourselves! This your time; this your salvation! (Already in the previous chapters Paul shared his own "from-now-on-therefore moment," in 2Corinthians 5:16, Now he encourages us to come to the same conclusion. There is no need to wait any longer for that which was written to be fulfilled! GOD spoke of a specific time and person when he announced salvation. Jesus is the day of salvation [Jeshua] that Isaiah foretold. This day has fully come! Even though Isaiah spoke these words 700 tears BC they were already recorded in the past tense! The Hebrew word, [1,H7522, translated acceptable] ratson, means pleasure, delight, favor, goodwill, acceptable. The Greek word, [3,G997 from G998 and G995 and θέω theō] boetheo,  is from(G994) boao, a boisterous, most urgent cry for help, and (G998) theo, to run to the rescue. This is so typical of GOD; the Greek for GOD is (G2316) theos, which is so similar to theo! GOD heard the cry of the human race echo in Christ. "My GOD my GOD, why have you forsaken me!" Psalm 22:1, and in verse 24 he says, "For he has not despised nor distanced himself from the affliction of the afflicted; and he has not hid his face from him, but has heard, when he cried to him." Note the [2,G4671]singular, soi, thus pointing to the Messiah, the one who would die for all, as in 2Corinthians 5:14. Isaiah saw the human race fully represented in the one act of righteousness completed in this one man! [Isaiah 53:4-5] See also Hebrews 4:16, "For this reason we can approach the authoritative Throne of his grace with bold utterance. We are welcome there in his embrace, and are reinforced with immediate effect in times of trouble. ( The word (G996), beotheia,  means to be reinforced, specifically a rope or chain for frapping a vessel in a storm.) See to it that you do not give offence or allow any kind of casual indifference to discredit this message. In every circumstance we commend ourselves to be jointly positioned as [1,G1249]deacons of GOD; we co-exhibit incarnate grace, regardless of the degree of the contradictions that we might be facing. We remain constant in a fortress of patience, in situations of extreme pressure; even at times where it seems like we have our arms locked behind our backs and we feel squeezed into claustrophobic spaces. (The Greek word, [1,G1249] diakonos, is from dia, a primary preposition denoting the channel of an act, and konos, dust; thus, we [1] co-exhibit incarnate grace.) In physical abuse; beaten up and bruised; caged in prison cells; often in chaotic circumstances; exasperating toil, with little sleep and nothing to eat! While abiding constantly in bliss knowing what our innocence is founded in, we remain absolutely unmoved by any of these severe contradictions. We are in Christ; in Holy Spirit; in agape without a hint of hypocrisy. We are sheltered in the word, entwined in unveiled truth, in the dynamic of GOD's power, because righteousness empowers us with every necessary weapon in our right and left hand to daily live undefeated by any of these onslaughts and contradictions! (Righteousness by GOD's faith frees us from anything more we could do to prove or define ourselves through our own efforts. See Habakkuk 2:4, 17-19 and Romans 1:17, with Hebrews 12:1.) Whether people esteem us or despise us; whether we are ridiculed or recognized, we may even be accused of misleading people we are in actual fact freeing people! Some would say that we are vague and ambiguous and yet who we are is an open letter to everyone's conscience. Some would wish us dead; but hey, here we are, fully alive! (2Corinthians 4:2) Our joy exceeds any reason for sadness; to enrich countless others by far outweighs the expense. It may appear that we are empty handed, yet we have everything in a firm grasp!" We are in what some study translations call, "The Ministry of Reconciliation," to see what we can discover of the hidden things of GOD within the text of this chapter. So lets get right back into our search shall we. Oh! The dynamics of what lays just ahead.


2Corinthians 5:16-19, 20-21 "Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled(G2644) us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world(G2889) unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech(G3870) you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin(G266) for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made(G1096) the righteousness of God in him." (KJV)

2Corinthians 5:16-19, 20-21 "From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled(G2644) us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world(G2889) to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore(G3870) you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin(G266) who knew no sin, so that in him we might(G1096) become the righteousness of God." (ESV)

2Corinthians 5:16-19, 20-21 "This is radical and our most defining moment! No label that could possibly previously identify someone carries any further significance! Even our pet doctrines of Christ are redefined. Whatever we knew about him historically [within the text of the old prophetic scriptures] or sentimentally [within the text of the living and abiding revelation of Now] is challenged by this conclusion. (By discovering Christ from GOD's point of view we discover ourselves and every other human life from GOD's point of view! Paul sees by revelation, that what Jesus redeemed in every person brings absolute closure and death to any other reasoning factor, that by judgment taken place, we may have had of ourselves or anyone else for that matter! This is our 'metanoia' moment! "From now on therefore, we no longer know anyone according to the flesh, even though we once knew Christ from a human and religious point of view." ) Now, in the light of your co-inclusion in his death and resurrection, whoever you thought you were before, in Christ [you are no more], you are now a brand new person! The old ways of seeing yourself and everyone else are over. Acquaint yourself with the new! (Just imagine this! Whoever a person was as a Jew, Greek, slave or freeman, Boer, Zulu, Xhosa, British, Indian, Muslim or American, Chinese, Japanese or Congolese; is now dead and gone! [Waiting for the rest of the world of darkness to catch on!] They all died when Jesus died! Remember we are Not talking Law language here! The 'If' in, "If anyone is in Christ" is not a condition, it is the conclusion of the revelation of the gospel! Humanity is in Christ by GOD's doing [1Corinthians 1:30 and Ephesians 1:4]. The verses of 2Corinthians 5:14-16 give context to verse 17 on its own and interpreted the "if" as a condition! Paul did not say, "If anyone is in Christ," he said "THEREFORE if anyone is in Christ...." The "therefore" immediately includes verses 14 to 16! If GOD's faith sees everyone in Christ in his death, then they were certainly also in Christ in his resurrection. Jesus did not reveal a "potential" you, he revealed the truth about you so that you may know the truth about yourself and be free indeed! In the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, GOD did not redeem a compromised replica of you; he rescued the original, blueprint you, created in his radiant mirror likeness! Any other 'self' you're trying to find or esteem  will disappoint! Reckon your 'DIY-law of works-self' dead, and your redeemed self co-raised and co-seated together with Christ! This is freedom indeed! Galatians 2:19-20; Romans 6:11. See also 1Peter 1:3, "We are reconnected with our original genesis through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead! this new birth endorses and celebrates the hope of the ages; GOD's eternal love dream concluded in life!" ) The idea of humanity's co-inclusion in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in entirely GOD's doing! To now realize that GOD has indeed brought final closure to the old and for us to see everything and everyone in this new light is to simply see what GOD has always known to be true about us in Christ; we are not debating human experience, opinion, or their contribution; this is exactly what GOD believes. In Jesus Christ, GOD [1,G2644]exchanged equivalent value to redeem us to himself. He went to the highest extreme in this act of reconciliation to persuade us of our original worth! This GOD has given us as the mandate of our ministry. (The word, [1,G2644 from G2596 and G236] katalasso, translates as reconciliation (G2634); it is a mutual exchange of equal value. This translation was not to buy us back from "the devil;" a thief never becomes an owner; it was GOD redeeming our minds from the lies that we believed about ourselves - reconciliation is the bold unveiling of the value of the hidden treasure in everyone! See 2Corinthians 4:7 and Matthew 13:44.) Our ministry declares that Jesus did not act independently of his Father. GOD was present in him as Christ (Spirit) when he reconciled the total [1]comos(G2889) to himself. Deity and humanity embraced in him; the fallen state of humanity was deleted; their trespasses would no longer count against them! Ho now announces his friendship with every individual from within us! (The incarnation did not separate the Father from the Son and the Spirit, In him dwells the fullness of GOD (Elohim-Spirit), in a human body, Colossians 2:9. As a human person, Jesus felt the agony of fallen humanity on the cross when he echoed Psalm 22, "My GOD. my GOD, why have you forsaken me! Why are you so far from helping me, from the words of my groaning?" But then is verse 24, David declares triumphantly: "He has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; and he has not hid his face from him, but has heard, when he cried to him." The word, [1,G2889] kosmos in the NT refers to the entire human family.)

The voice GOD had in Christ, he now has in us; we are GOD's ambassadors. Our lives exhibit the urgency of GOD to [1,G3870]persuade everyone to realize the reconciliation of their redeemed identity. (The word, [1,G3870 from G3844 and G2564] parakaleo, comes from(G3844) para, a preposition indicating close proximity, a thing proceeding from a sphere of influence, with a suggestion of union of place of residence, to have sprung from its author and giver, originating from, denoting the point from which an action originates, intimate connection, and (G2564) kaleo, to identify by name, to surname. In Luke 15:28, 31, "His father pleaded with him, "My child, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours." "Be reconciled: could not be translated, "Become reconciled!" "Do in order to become" is the language of the OT; the language of the NT is, "Be, because of what was done!" ) This is the divine exchange: he who knew no [1,G266]sin embraced our distortion (disfigurement); he appeared to be without form; this was the mystery of GOD's prophetic [2,G4161]poetry. he was disguised in our distorted image and  marred with our iniquities; he took our sorrows, our pain and our shame to his grave and [3]birthed his righteousness (innocence) in us. He took our sins and we [3,G1096]became his innocence, again. ( The word sin, is the word [1,G266 from G264 and G1 and the base of G3313] hamartia, which is from (G1) ha, a negative or without and (G3313) meros, portion of form, thus to be without your allotted portion or without form, pointing to a distorted, distorted, bankrupt identity; the word(G3313) merso, is the stem of morphe, as used in 2Corinthians 3:18 where the word(G3339 from G3326 and G3445) metamorphe, with form, which is the opposite of (G266) hamartia - without form. Sin is to live out of context with the blueprint of one's design; to behave out of tune with GOD's original harmony. The word, [2,G4161 from G4160] poema, is often translated "made" like in, "he was made to be sin." However, because of its context here I have translated poema to read prophetic poetry. As the scapegoat of the human race, he took on our distorted image of fallen humanity, he did not become a sinner, but the official representative of humanity's sin condition. Then Paul uses the word [3,G1096] ginomai, he birthed his righteousness in us since we were born anew in his resurrection from the dead. Hosea 6:2, Ephesians 2:5, 1Peter 1:3.

In Isaiah 52:10 we find this, "The LORD has bared his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our GOD." Then in Isaiah 52:14-15 we have this, "Just as many were astonished at you --- so was he marred in his appearance, more than any human and his form beyond that of human semblance---so will he startled many nations. Kings will shut their mouths because of him; for what had not been told them, they will see and what they had not heard, they will understand." Then in Isaiah 53:4-5 we have this, "Surley he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten of GOD, and afflicted. But surely he was wounded by our transgressions; he was bruised by our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him and by his stripes we ourselves are healed."

He was not bruised by GOD but by the very humanity he was about to redeem!

You may ask, "But what about Isaiah 53:10!?" [It pleased the LORD to "crush" him!] translators of the New Revised Standard version say in their footnotes to this verse: "The meaning of the Hebrew in uncertain." The Septuagint [Greek version] of this verse, written some 250 years before Jesus, by 72 Hebrew scholars [with access to older manuscripts that what we have today,] have rendered the Hebrew text as follows: "and the LORD desires to purify him of the plague!" This can also be translated, "The LORD desires to cleanse his wounds!" The word, plege means a wound.

In Romans 8:29-30 we find this, "He pre-designed and engineered us from the start to be jointly fashioned in the same mold and image of his Son according to the exact blueprint of his thought. We see the original and intended pattern of our lives preserved in his Son. He is the firstborn from the same womb that reveals our own genesis. He confirms that we are the idea and invention of GOD." (We were born anew when he was raised from the dead! [1Peter 1:3] His resurrection co-reveals our common genesis as well as our redeemed innocence (his righteousness). [Romans 4:25 and Acts 17:31, 2Timothy 1:9] Its now no wonder then that he is not ashamed to call  us his family! We indeed share the same origin [Hebrews 2:11], and, "In him we live and move and have our being; we are indeed his offspring!" [Acts 17:28]) In Romans 8:30, "Jesus reveals that humanity pre-existed in GOD (this is seen in Genesis 1:26-27 of 26-29); he defines us. He justified us and also glorified us. He redeemed our original innocence and restored the glory that was lost of our being in Adam. [Romans 3:23-24, 8:28-29: the word prohoritso, means pre-defined, like when an architect draws up a detailed plan; and the word, kaleo, to surname, identify by name.]

In Titus 2:11 we have, "The grace of GOD shines as bright as day making the salvation of humanity undeniably visible.") (The Mirror)

We are about to look at what has been labeled in some translations as "The Ministry of Reconciliation." Lets see what we can glean from this text, shall we? This ministry has to come before the phantom image of GOD's existence can be shown as our own reality along side of his. This phantom image has been the world's religious systems business for centuries. And has been unchecked until now.


2Corinthians 5:11-15 "Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your [2]consciences(G4893. For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart. For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. For the love of Christ [1]constraineth(G4912) us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again." 2Corinthians 5:11-15 "Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade others. But what we are is known to God, and I hope it is known also to your [2]conscience(G4893). We are not commending ourselves to you again but giving you cause to boast about us, so that you may be able to answer those who boast about outward appearance and not about what is in the heart. For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For the love of Christ controls(G4912) us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; And he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised." (ESV)

2Corinthians 5:11-15 "We persuade people in the [1,G5402]radiance of the LORD! His visible glory is mirrored in us! Our lives are transparent before GOD; we anticipate that you will witness the same transparency in your [2,G4893]conscience! (The word, [2,G4893, From a prolonged form of G4894, From G4862 and G1492] suneido, translates as conscience, joint seeing, to be aware of. In 2Corinthians 4:2 we find, "with the open statement of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone's conscience." Here the word, (G5399 from G5401, G5457) phobe, speaks of dread, terror, fear! I would prefer to use the word, [1, G5402, G5457] phoibe, which means radiant! Because of images and idols of our own imaginations of a schizophrenic, monster god, we have Bible translations endorsing! If 2Corinthians 5:10 points to a future judgment, then in verse 14, Paul is constrained by the love of Christ!? Jesus is the expressed image of GOD, the radiance of his beauty! [Hebrews 1:3; John 14:10] He has made the invisible GOD visible! He is the Fathers light within whom there is no shadow due to compromise; there is no dark side to GOD! Paul is not one day motivated by the terror of GOD and the next by his love! ) We do not want you to pity us, but rather to be proud of us for your own sakes! We are not into window-dressing because we are not into window-shopping. Neither are we here to impress you with us but to impress you with you! We are [1]blissfully out of our minds with pleasure before our Maker; he delights in our ecstasy. Our insane mode is between us and GOD; we promise to behave ourselves sane and sober before you! (The word, [1, G1839, From G1537 ek , and G2476 histēmi, to hold upright] ekstase, is to be blissfully out of one's mind with pleasure!) The love of Christ [1,G4912]resonates within us and leaves us with only one conclusion: Jesus died humanity's due death; therefore, in GOD's logic every individual simultaneously died. (The word, [1,G4912 From G4862 and G2192] sunecho, is from (G4846) sun, meaning two together with and (G2192)echo , meaning to echo, to embrace, to hold, to heal and thusly translated, to resonate. Jesus didn't die 99% or for 99%. He died humanity's death of judgment 100%! If Paul had to compromise the last part of verse 14 to read: "one died for all therefore only those who follow the prescribed pattern or prescriptions qualify, have also dieid," then he would have had to change the first half of this verse as well! Only the love of Christ can make a calculation of such enormous proportions! The religious mind would question the extremity of GOD's Agape, love and perhaps prefer to add a condition or two to a statement like this! ) Now if all were included in his death they were equally included in his resurrection. This unveiling of his love redefines human life! Whatever reference we could have of ourselves outside of our association with Christ is no longer relevant [it remains a falsehood, a lie!]. We are looking into our temporal earthly tour and our eternal spiritual which begins the moment that we know the truth, the secret of the cross and our judgment co-death, co-descended, co-resurrection and co-ascension with Christ (Ephesians 4:8-10, Matthew 12:40; Hosea 6:1-3). All of this revelation is the bases of our faith, of joint heir-ship.


2Corinthians 5:6-10 "Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are [1]confident(G2292), I say, and [2]willing(G2106) [3]rather(G3123) to be [4]absent(G1553) from the body, and to be [5]present(G1736) with the Lord. Wherefore we [1]labour(G5389), that, whether [2]present(G1736) or absent, we may be [3]accepted(G2101) of him. For we must all [1]appear(G5319) before the [2]judgment(G968) seat of Christ; that every one may [3]receive(G2865) the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2Corinthians 5:6-10 "So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage(G2292), and we would rather be away(G2106)(G1553) from(G3123) the body and at home(G1736) with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil." (ESV)

2Corinthians 5:6-10 "We are cheerfully courageous, knowing that our immediate address in our earthly bodies cannot distance us from the LORD, since we originated from him. Faith is to our spirit what our senses are to our bodies; while the one engages with the fading and the fragile, the other celebrates perfection! Our [1,G2292]confidence stems from [2,G2106]knowing that even though it might feel at times that we are merely [4,G1553]reduced to flesh, our [3,G3123]greater reality is that we are [5,G1736]entwined in the LORD. He is our permanent abode! (The word, [1,G2292 another form of G2293] tharreo, means confident courage; [2,G2106 from G2095 and G1380] eudokeo, means well done opinion; [3,G3123] mallon, means prefer or rather; and [4,G1553 from G1537 and G1218 from G1210] ekdemeo, is from (G1537) ek, is a preposition that always denotes origin or source and (G1218) demeo is from(G1210) deo, to bind, to wind, to tie, to knit; originating out of the body (we were knitted together in our mother's womb). In severe affliction one feels at times reduced to mere physical identity; but [2] our persuasion is anchored in a far greater [2]opinion; the reality of our genesis in GOD and our union in him. The word, [5,G1736 From a compound of G1722 and G1218] endemeo, means entwined, knitted together, tied in oneness. Yet at times it almost feels strange to be trapped in this body especially when are exposed to such abuse and suffering; one longs to then do the exchange and relocate to our permanent address, where our hearts already are; in the immediate embrace of the LORD.) We are [1,G5389]completely engaged in the loveliness of that which is of exceedingly great value; whether we are [2,G1736]in a physical union with our bodies or a [3,G]spiritual union with our source; it makes no difference to GOD's esteem of us! We are highly favored by the LORD. ( The word, [1,G5389, Middle voice from a compound of G5384 and G5092 from G5099, with G1511] philotimeomai, comes from (G5384) phileo, meaning dear, fondness; (G5092) timay, meaning value, esteem; and (G1511 and G1510) einai from (G1510) eimi, I am. The word, [2,G1736 From a compound of G1722 and G1218] endemeo , means in union with, entwined; and [3,G2101 From G2095 and G701 from G700, compare with H5375] euarestos means tied to our source. ) For we have all been [1,G5319]thoroughly scrutinized in the [2,G968]judgment of Jesus. We are [3,G2865]taken care of and restored to the life of our design, regardless of what happened to us in our individual lives, whatever amazing or meaningless things we encountered in this body. (Look at 5:14-16. "We are mirrored in his life; his life reflects ours, not as an example for us but as us." Look to 2Corinthans 3:18. The word, [1,G5319 from G5318] phaneroo, which means to render apparent; to openly declare; to manifest. Paul uses the Aorist Passive Infinitive expresses tense phanerothenai, not referring to a future event But the present Infinitive expresses progressive or imperfective aspect. It pictures the action expressed by the verb as being in progress. The Aorist Infinitive however, does not express progressive aspect. It presents the action expressed by the verb as a completed unit with a beginning and end. The word, bematos, comes from [2,G968 from the base of G393] bayma, means footprint, also referring to a raised place mounted by steps, or a tribunal, the official seat of a judge. The word, [3,G2865] kolumbao, means to tend, to take care of, to carry off from harm. Paul's reference was not about how much abuse and affliction he suffered, neither was it the many good times he remembered that defined him; "I am what I am by the grace of GOD!" If we are still to be judged for good or bad deeds that we perform in our bodies, then the judgment that Jesus faced on humanity's behalf was irrelevant worthless and useless. Sadly this verse has been grossly misrepresented in most other translation and religious circles, - "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive good or evil, according to what he has done in the body." Note the word "done" is in italics in the "Authorized Version" - it is not in the original text.

For more context on the word, kolumbao, look at 1Peter 1:8-10, "So even though you have never seen Jesus in the flesh, you love him; even at times where he seems remote and invisible, your awareness of your union in him continues to ignite belief! You are leaping with indescribable and exuberance of joy holding him in high regard and great esteem! In this place of joy, you are [1]beyond the reach of any harm. Joy gives your faith a voice announcing the perfection of your soul's salvation. (Joy celebrates the fulfillment of Scripture! Belief gives evidence of everything the Prophets pointed to! The word, kolumbao, to carry off from harm!) This salvation which you now know as your own, is the theme of the prophetic thought; this is what intrigued the Prophets' minds for generations and became the object of their most diligent inquiry and scrutiny. They knew all along that humanity's salvation was a grace revelation, sustained in their prophetic utterance! (Salvation would never be by personal achievement or a reward to willpower-driven initiative! The Law of works would never replace grace!)) (The Mirror)

In chapter 5 of 2Corinthians we look into the temporal and the eternal of GOD's designed humanity, by now you know the one that he redeemed at the judgment day of the Lord on the cross. The earthy remain bound to the world by its systems of religion, politics and finance. While the eternal spiritual person, well they go on to be eternal, having within them kingdom of heaven while here on earth. So lets see what Paul has to reveal about his revelation of Christ, in this matter. Because all does indeed matter for all of humanity's human race. You'd think the "all" would have by now heard to complete good news and accepted their lot in Christ, but a last this is not so! The chains of darkness are indeed grievous for all.


2Corithians 5:1-5 "For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle(G4636) were dissolved(G2647), we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit." (KJV)

2Corinthians 5:1-5 "For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building(G4636) from God, a house not made with hands(G2647), eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee." (ESV)

2Corinthians 5:1-5 "Our [1,G4636]skin-suits have a [2,G2647]"sell by" date; our spirit-bodies are eternal. The same GOD who fashioned these skin-bodies in our mother's womb, engineered our spirit-bodies to be our permanent dwelling. (The word, [1,G4636] skenos, reminds of the English word skin and translates, as tabernacle. The word, [2,G2647 from G2596 and G3089] kataluo means to be (G3089) loosed because it has completed its (G2596) function - like on a journey of travelers, when they halt to put up lodges (G2646, to break up) for the night; the straps and packs of the beasts of burden are unbound and taken off or, more correctly, from the fact that a traveler's garments were tied up when they were on a journey to be loosed at its end.) Facing pressure times the way we often do, makes us sigh with longing to exchange our skin-suit with the permanent splendor of the heavenly-body. In the meantime, whatever challenges we are facing in the meat-box, we know that we shall never be found naked; since we are already fully clothed with our heavenly identity of Christ in our inner person! We are not complaining about our bodies, even though we are often aware of its frailties; instead we yearn to be overwhelmed with life. We know that every evidence of death, even in our bodies, will dissolve into life! GOD wired us this way; his Spirit already confirms within us the present evidence of eternity. We are eternal beings by design." (The Mirror)

Now what was just revealed in some religious circles maybe argumentative. And I will leave it at that. Until tomorrow, if and when tomorrow comes may the LORD increase you knowledge of him both in you and then in yours.

We are at the close of this chapter and are looking ahead for more revelation of the secret things of Deuteronomy 29:29 and the mysteries of Matthew 13:11, which is from Psalm 25:8-9, 14 to reveal but a few of the nuggets of the kingdom, as a pearl within each of us.


2Corinthians 4:13-15, 16-18 "We having(G2192) the same spirit of faith, according as it is written (in Psalm 116:10), "I believed, and therefore have I spoken;" we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus (Hosea 6:1-3), and shall present us with you. For all things are for your (humanity's) sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory(G1391) of God.

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." (KJV)

2Corinthians 4:13-15, 16-18 "Since we have(G2192) the same spirit of faith according to what has been written (in Psalm 116:10), "I believed, and so I spoke," we also believe, and so we also speak, knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus (Hosea 6:1-3) and bring us with you into his presence. For it is all for your (humanity's) sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory(G1391) of God.

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal." (ESV)

2Corinthians 4:13-15, 16-18 "We [1,G2192]echo the exact same spirit of faith David had when he wrote Psalm 116:10, "I believe and so I speak!" We too believe and so we speak! Our persuasion is our conversation. (The word [1,G2192] echo, means to hold or to embrace. Paul quotes David here from Psalm 116:10; sometimes one's soul wants to gallop away into distraction like a horse; David speaks to and reminds himself to, "Return, Oh my soul, to your rest; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you!" [RSV] "I believe, and so I speak!" GOD's bountiful dealings with us in Christ is our only valid rest; Sabbath celebrations perfection! And remember GOD does not employ circumstances to teach us something! The finished work of Christ teaches us; his work on the cross rescued us All!) This resurrection life we now enjoy in Jesus fully includes you. Whatever we go through in the gospel is to advantage for you! We live for you! As grace abounds in more and more people so does the volume of gratitude in the accomplished mission of Jesus break through the sound barrier to exhibit the [1,G1391]heart of GOD. (The word, [1,G1391 from G1380] doxa, means glory, which is from (G1380) dokeo, meaning intent opinion, the heart dream of GOD is his image and likeness redeemed in his humanity.)

We have much reason to be brave! There might be a lot of wear and tear on the outside; but don't be distracted by that! On the inside we are celebrating daily revival! [this a far cry from the religious worlds revival's, they do not compare!] We are fully engaged in an exceedingly superior reality; the extent and [1]weight of this glory makes any degree of suffering vanish into insignificance! The suffering is fleeting and ever so slight by comparison to the weight and enduring effect of this glory we participate in for all eternity [Matthew 11:28-30, both the question and the promise]. (In Hebrew the word (H3519) כָּבוֹד kâbôd, means weight - this is also the word for glory - Paul reflects on this weight as the standard measure of everything that is the true currency of life. Paul reasons that by comparison, any size contradiction is dwarfed into insignificance and appears ever so slight when positioned against the enormity of this weight of glory that dwells within us.) We are not keeping any score of what seems so obvious to the senses on the surface; it is fleeting and irrelevant; it is the unseen eternal realm within us which has our full attention and captivates our gaze! (Look at John 1:18, "Until this moment GOD remained invisible to humanity; now the [1,G3439]authentic begotten Son, ( 1 [G3439 from G3441 and G1096], monogenes , begotten only of GOD ) the blueprint of humanity's design who represents the innermost being of GOD, the Son who is in the bosom of the Father, brings him into full view! He is the [2,G1834]official authority qualified to announce GOD! He is our guide who accurately declares and interprets the invisible GOD within us. (Official guide, [2, G1834 from G1537 and G2233] eksegesato, to lead, is from G1537, ek, a preposition denoting source, and G2233, hegeomia, the strengthened form of G71, ago, to lead as a Shepherd leads his sheep; thus hegeomai means to be officially appointed in a position of authority.

2Corinthians 3:18, "The days of window-shopping are over! In him every face is unveiled." In gazing with wonder at the blueprint likeness of GOD displayed in human form, we suddenly realize that we are looking at ourselves! Every feature of his image in mirrored in us! This is most radical transformation engineering by the Spirit of the LORD; we are led from an inferior mind-set to the revealed endorsement of our authentic identity.) (The Mirror)

Well the LORD does not fail a promise no not one when we realize that we, come to our true selves, and know that we are One. May the LORD being this about within each one of you.

In this next section of chapter 4, Paul speaks of humanity being likened to clay earthen pots often used to store liquids and grains in. Lets see what is said and what revelation of our being is here. In this section we shall see why the joy over came me a few days ago after explaining the mystery of the cross, our redemption of our own human form in Christ's humanity identification.


2Corinthians 4:7-12 "But we have this treasure in earthen(G3749) vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you." (KJV)

2Corinthians 4:7-12 "But we have this treasure in jars(G3749) of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So death is at work in us, but life in you." (ESV)

2Corinthians 4:7-12 "And now, in the glow of this gloriuos light and with unveiled faces we discover this treasure where it was hidden all along, in these frail skin-suits made of [1,G3749]clay. We did not invent ourselves; we are GOD's idea to begin with and the dynamic of his doing and amazingly engineered! (The word translated earthen vessels or clay jar is the word [1,G3749] ostrakins, which is from ostrakon and it means "oyster"! It is a great visual picture of how we carry a very valuable pearl within us. The cosmetic value of the clay pot can never compete with the treasure it holds. There is much more to us than what meets the eye! "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in an agricultural field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys the entire field." [Matthew 13:44] In order to redeem our minds from the lies that we believed about us, GOD invested all that he has in the redeeming of our original value! Look at 1Peter 1:18-19. He rescued the life of our design. Our inner life hosts this treasure. Jesus said in John 7:37-38, "'If you believe that I am what the Scriptures are all about, you will know that you are what I am all about and rivers of living waters will gush out of your innermost being!'" ) We often feel completely hemmed in on every side but our inner space remains unrestricted; when there seems to be no way out, we escape within! At times we are persecuted to the extreme but we are never abandoned. We are knocked down but not knocked out. Wherever we go, whatever we encounter in our bodies, we bear witness within us of the fact that Jesus died our due death; in this same body, we now exhibit his resurrected life. The fact that we co-died in his death confirms that we are now co-life, co-alive in his resurrection! Our day-to-day experience continues to exhibit that even in the face of death, our association with the death of Jesus already died remains the inspiration of his life made so clearly visible within us. This is in such contrast to the circumstances that we are often faced with." (The Mirror)

The LORD willing we shall close this chapter in our next visitation. Until then may the LORD richly increase you and yours understanding of his hidden treasure the pearl of great price within. I have seen this pearl on three occasions for myself, the first at the age of ten, come out from my center and grow and then return into my being.

Moving right along with our looking into scripture with a renewed mind or with that of mans original origin with the mind of Christ as known in Genesis 2. After GOD's human form that began humanity when the woman's from was made from man, both humans given, made a body fit for earthy occupation. Before this forms glory was lost and man became a being with the image and likeness of his creator within him, unlike all the creatures or vegetation that sprung from the word spoken. Oh! The power of promises made and kept by GOD as the word spoken by his faith, a power yet to be tapped into by humanity, a great secret of mystery, yet unveiled, but yet known.


2Corinthians 3:12-18 "Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away(G2673) in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn(G1994) to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open(G343) face beholding as in a glass(G2734) the glory of the Lord, are changed(G3339) into the same image from glory to glory, even as by(G575) the Spirit of the Lord." (KJV)

2Corinthians 3:12-18 "Since we have such a hope, we are very bold, not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end. But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away(G2673). Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. But when one turns(G1994) to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled(G343) face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being(G2734) transformed(G3339) into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from(G575) the Lord who is the Spirit." (ESV)

2Corithians 3:12-18 "Our every expectation is fulfilled; therefore, we speak with clarity and conviction! (Every definition of veil is removed from our conversation! We have no hidden agenda! This is what we say as plainly as possible: the glory that Adam lost on humanity's behalf, Jesus redeemed! The image and likeness of GOD is no longer a future promise of possibilities and potential; it is our reality and reference now! Look at Colossians 1:27) What we say is so unlike Moses who had to keep Israel in suspense with a veiled face; they did not realize that this arrangement would never suffice to secure their standing before GOD. In essence the letters on stone confirmed their death. All that they could see was the futility of the Law of works; how entirely useless their best attempts would be to match the life of their design (because of their hardhearted unbelief ). (In (because of) Adam all people alike stood condemned; they did (still do) not realize it until the Law reveals it. In Christ all are declared righteous (innocence); yet they do not know it until the Gospel reveals it! [Romans 10:17 and 7:4-25]) Since the time of Moses until this very day their minds remain calloused and veiled. They are kept in suspense without realizing that there is no glory in the Law: (whatever glory there was, carried merely a fading, prophetic glimmer) reading the Old Covenant of letters without realizing that Christ is the fulfillment of Scripture is a complete waste of time [this practice is repeatedly repeated by all unbelieving religious humanity]. Only in discovering our union with Christ is the veil removed and do we realize that the old system is [1,G2673]rendered entirely useless. ( The word, [1,G2673 from G2596 and G691] katergeo comes from (G2596) kata, meaning intensity, and (G691) argos, meaning labor, the Law of works is rendered entirely useless; thus the new arrangement frees us (all humanity) from all self effort (of religion, the old mindset of bondage, that is slavery in chains) to attempt to improve what GOD has already perfected in Christ.) In the meantime nothing seems to have changed; the same veil continues to blindfold the hearts of people whenever Moses is read. (Moses symbolizes the futility of all self righteousness as the global blindfold of the religious world. [John 1:17] Again the stark backdrop of the Law; with Moses representing the condemned state of humanity, and Jesus Christ unveiled Grace and Truth! He is the life of our original design in redeemed in human form, John 1:14.) The moment anyone [1,G1994]returns to the LORD the veil is gone! (The word, [1,G1994 from G1909, turn upward and G4762 from the base G5157, to return to ones origin] epistrepho means to return to where we've wandered from; "we all like sheep have gone astray." Jesus is GOD unveiled in human form [Colossians 1:15]. Also 1Peter 2:25, "You were completely vulnerable, just like sheep roaming astray without direction or protection, but now you have returned and are restored to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls!" And 1Peter 1:17, then Hebrews 8:1-2, 10 "The conclusion of all that has been said points us to an exceptional Person, who towers far above the rest in the highest office of heavenly greatness. He is the executive authority of the majesty of GOD. The office he now occupies is the one which the Moses-model resembled prophetically. He ministers in the holiest place in GOD's true tabernacle of worship [the redeemed human heart]....Now, instead of documenting my laws on stone, I will chisel them into your mind and engrave them in your inner consciousness; it will no longer be a one-sided affair. I will be your GOD and you will be my people, not by compulsion but by mutual desire." Look at James 1:25, "Those who gaze into the mirror reflection of the face of their birth are captivated by the effect of a law that freed them from the obligation to the old written code that restricted them to their, our own efforts and willpower. No distraction or contradiction can dim the impact of what they see in that mirror concerning the law of perfect liberty [the law of faith] that now frees them to get on with the act of living the life [of their original design]. They find a new spontaneous lifestyle; the poetry of practical living." [The law of perfect liberty is the image and likeness of GOD revealed in Christ, now redeemed in human life as in a mirror.]) The LORD and the Spirit are one; his Lordship sanctions our freedom. A freedom from rules chiselled in stone to the voice of our redeemed design echoing in our hearts! And we all, with a new understanding, see ourselves in him as in a mirror. The days of window-shopping are over! In him every face is [1,G343]unveiled. In [2,G2734]gazing with wonder at the [5,G1391]blueprint of GOD displayed in human form, we suddenly realize that we are looking into a mirror, where every feature of his [3,G1504]image articulates in Christ in us is [2,G2734]reflected within us, again! The Spirit of the LORD engineers this radical [4,G3339]transformation; we are led [6,G575]from an inferior [5,G1391]mind-set to the revealed [5,G1391]endorsement of our authentic identity. ( The word, [1,G343 from G303 and G2572] anakalupto; is from (G303) ana, a preposition denoting upward, to return again, and (G2572) kalupto, to uncover, unveil. The word, [2,G2734 a compound from G2596 and G3700 itself a compound word, compare G2072] katoptrizomai, means to gaze into a reflection, to mirror oneself. Paul uses [4,G3339 from G3326 and G3445] metamorphumetha as a present Passive indicative from metamorpho; (G3326) meta, together with, and(G3445 with G3446) morphe, form. [The word commonly translated sin, [1] hamartia, is from ha, a negative or without and meros, alloted portion or form; thus, a distorted form, which is the opposite of metamorphe; with form. The word meros is the stem of morphe.] Now, with unveiled faces we are gazing at the glory of the LORD as in a mirror and metaporhe happens - image and likeness awakens within us!

The word, [3,G1504 from G1503] eikon, translates as exact resemblance, image and likeness; eikon always assumes a prototype, that which it not merely resembles, but from that which it is drawn; [5,G1391 from its base of G1380] doxa, glory, translates as mind-set, or opinion from(G1380) dokeo, authentic, blueprint-thought. Changed 'from glory to glory,' apo doxes eis doxan; eis, a point reached in conclusion; [6,G575] apo, away from, meaning away from the glory that previously defined us, i.e. our own achievements or disappointments, to the glory of our origin of design that now defines us. Two glories are mentioned in this chapter; the glory of the flesh, which is the veiled, fading kind represented by Moses and the glory of the unfading glory of GOD's image and likeness, mirror in the face of Christ and now redeemed in us all. Look at chapter 4:4-7.

It should be of Note, the Greek word translated "from" in this verse is not the same as the word translated "from" in Romans 1:17, Paul says the unveiling of GOD's righteousness is from faith to faith. here he does not use the word (4,G575) apo, away from, but the preposition,(G1537) ek, which always denotes source or origin.

Some translations of this Scripture read, "we are being changed from glory to glory." This would suggest that change is gradual and will more than likely take a lifetime, which was the typical religious thinking imposed, as a deliberate action, that traped Israel for forty years in the wilderness of unbelief! We cannot become more than what we already are in Christ. We do not grow more complete; we simply grow in his knowledge and awareness of our completeness! [Look at Colossians 3:10] How long does it take the beautiful swan to awaken to the truth of its design? The ugly duckling was an illusion! Whatever it was that endorsed the 'ugly duckling' mindset, co-died together with Christ! In the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, GOD did not redeem a compromised replica of you; he rescued the original, blueprint you, created in his radiant mirror likeness! Any other 'self' you're trying to find or esteem will disappoint! See Romans 6:11, Reckon your 'DIY-law of works-self' dead, and your redeemed self co-raised and co-seated together with Christ! This is freedom indeed! Galatians 2:19-20; Galatians 2:20, "So here i am dead and alive at the same time! I'm dead to the old me I was trying to be and alive to the real me which is Christ in me! Co-crucified, now co-alive! What a glorious entanglement! I was in him in his death; now he is in me in my life! For the first time I'm free to be me in my skin, immersed in his faith in our joint-sonship! He loves me and believes in me! He is GOD's gift to me! ( The verb (G4957) συσταυρόω sustauroō, is in the Perfect tense, indicating that not only was I crucified with Christ in the past, but I am existing now in that present condition. How can any human effort improve on this? Look at Hosea 6:2 and Ephesians 2:5 also Romans 7:6, But now we are fully released from any further association with a life directed by the rule of the Law, we are now dead to that which once held us captives, free to be slaves to the newness of spirit-spontaneity rather than age old religions rituals, imitating the mere face value of the written code. The moment one exchanges spontaneity with rules, the edge of romance is compromised!)) (The Mirror)

Here we are knocking at the door of chapter 4 where Paul defends his Apostolic call to ministry and brings to light the Gospel message, before he explains humanity's being the vessels of clay, let see what nuggets of gold are herein shall we? Remember that we have had our unbelieving political and religious eyes and ears opened, thereby giving clear perception of the mind of Christ, i.e. the mind and viewpoint of GOD, now having the mindset of Christ restored as in the beginning, old things now having passed away.


2Corinthians 4:1-6 "Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness (G3834), nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (KJV)

2Corinthians 4:1-6 "Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper (G3834) with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (ESV)

2Corithians 4:1-6 "Since we are employed by the mercy of GOD, and by our own qualifications, quitting is not an option. We have renounced hidden agendas (employing a little bit of the law in an attempt to "balance" out grace); we have distanced ourselves from any obscure [1,G3834]craftiness to manipulate GOD's word (promises) to make it mean what it does not say! With truth on open display in us, we highly recommend our lives to everyone's [2,G4893]conscience! Truth finds its most authentic and articulate expression in human life. This beats any doctrinal debate! (It is our passion for all to see what is so completely obvious in the mirror of our redeemed likeness and innocence! The word translated craftiness, is the word [1,G3834 from G3835 it from G3956 and G2041] panourgia and it is from G3956 pas and G2041 ergon, all manner of wearisome labor! [2,G]Conscience in Latin means to know together; in Greek, [2,G4893 from ] G4894 suneido, translates as joint seeing; which is the opposite of Hades, not to see.) If our message seems vague to anyone, it is not because we are withholding something from certain people! It is just because some are so stubborn in their efforts to uphold an outdated system that they don't see it! They are all equally found in Christ but they prefer to remain lost in the cul-de-sac language of the Law! The survival and self-improvement programs of the [1,G165]religious systems of this world veil their minds of the unbelievers; exploiting their ignorance about their true orig and their redeemed innocence (righteousness). The veil of unbelief obstructs a person's view and keeps them from seeing what the light of the gospel so clearly reveals: the [2,G1391]glory of GOD is the image and likeness of our Maker redeemed in human form; this is what the gospel of Christ is all about! (The god of this [1,G165 from G104 meaning a continued duration] G165 aion, age, refers to the religious systems and governing structures of this world. The unbelief that neutralized Israel in the wilderness is the lie that they believed about themselves; "We are grasshoppers, and the 'enemy' is a giant beyond any proportion!" [Numbers 13:33, Joshua 2:11, Hebrews 4:6] "They failed to possess the promise due to unbelief." The blueprint [2,G1391 from the base of G1380] doxa, glory of GOD, is what Adam lost on humanity's behalf! [See Ephesians 4:18])  Even though we recommend ourselves with great confidence, it is not with arrogance; we do not preach ourselves! We preach Christ Jesus the LORD; we are addicted to this gospel; employed by Jesus for your sakes. The light source is founded in the same GOD who said (in Genesis 1:3-4), "Light, be!" And light shone out of darkness! he lit the lamp in our understanding so that we may clearly recognize the features of his likeness in the face of Jesus Christ reflected within us. (The same GOD who bade light shine out of darkness has kindled a light in our hearts, whose shining is to make known his glory as he has revealed it in the feature of Jesus Christ. ---Knox Translation) (The Mirror)

Here we are about to enter New Covenant grounds from the stand point of a renewed mindset a place that few have come to. Let see what we may discover in the kingdom of GOD within a judged and redeemed mindset, other wise spoken of as having the mind of Christ. By way of putting things into today's language of common use.


2Corinthians 3:1-3, 4-6, 7-11 "Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

And such trust have we through Christ to(G4314) God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think(G3049) any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away(G2673): How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious." 2Corinthians 3:1-3, 4-6, 7-11 "Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you, or from you? You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward(G4314) God. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim(G3049) anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end(G2673), will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory? For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it. For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory." (ESV)

2Corinthians 3:1-3, 4-6, 7-11 "The days when I needed letters to endorse my authority are over! (Look at Acts 9:2) We are not in a competition showing off our credentials! Some insist on certification; i do not see any relevance in it! Neither do I require a note of recommendation of you or to you or from you. Instead of an impressive certificate framed on my wall I have you framed in my heart! You are our Epistle written within us, an open letter speaking a global language; one that everyone can [1,G314]read and recognize as their mother tongue! (The word [1G314 from G303] anaginosko, is from (G303 and G1097) ana, upward and (G1097) ginosko, to know upward; thus to draw knowledge from a higher reference or source; from above; to recognize; to read with recognition.) The fact that you are a Christ-Epistle shines as bright as day! This what our ministry is all about. The Spirit of GOD is the living ink. Every trace of the Spirit's influence is on the face of every heart and is what gives us permanence to this conversation. we are not talking Law-language here; this is more dynamic and permanent than the letters chiseled in (hard hearts of) stone. This conversation is embroidered in your inner consciousness. (It is the life of your design that grace echoes within you!)

Christ is proof of our persuasion about you [1,G4314]before GOD. ( The Greek preposition [1,G4314, this is strengthen by G4253 pro, meaning prior to ] pros, means towards; as in face-to-face. Look at 2Corinthians 1:18-20) We have not [1,G3049]reached this conclusion by any merit of our own! Of GOD's doing are we made competent! (The word, [1,G3049] logitsomia, means to reckon; making a calculation to which there can only be one logical conclusion.) It is GOD's signature in our spirit that authorizes New Testament ministry. We are not qualified by a legal document endorsed by a fellow human. The letter (of the Law) is the administration of death; it is the Spirit (of  grace) that quickens (gives life) life.

Because of its prophetic purpose even the old administration of death, carved in (hard hearts of) stone evidenced a glimpse of glory; for a brief moment the face of Moses shone with such brilliance that the people of Isreal could not even look at his face. The fact that the glory reflected in Moses was brief and fading confirms that the ministry of the letter had a "sell by" date and that it was destined [1,G2673]to be brought to its due closure of naught. (It served merely to emphasize the failure of the flesh to access the glory that Adam had lost on humanity's behalf. The word, [1,G2673 from G2596 and G691] katargeo, derives from(G2596) kata, meaning intensity, and(G691) argos, meaning labor, denotes that the law of works would be rendered entirely useless; thus, the new arrangement would free us from all self effort to attempt to improve what GOD has already perfected in Christ. Consider the contrast in verse 18; from a mere glimpse of a veiled and fading glory to unveiled gazing into the face of glory as in a mirror and a transformed life radiating the same glory!) How much more radiant would the ministry of the Spirit be. If the ministry of condemnation had a glimpse of glory, the glory that the ministry of righteousness (G1343 from G1342, innocence,) now communicates is beyond comparison! (There are two administrations: the one confirms humanity's guilt because of Adam; the other confirms humanity's innocence because of Christ! The one was upheld by the letter of the Law; the other is confirmed and sustained by the life of the Spirit. Humanity's standing before GOD is restored; in his righteousness (innocence) by the merit of the cross far outweighs any attempt of the flesh to compete! Nothing that anyone can do can improve their standing before GOD! The blood of Christ separates grace from the works of condemnations letters!) What seemed glorious and important at the time has been reduced to total obscurity and irrelevance. The fragile and fading glory of the flesh is dwarfed into insignificance by the unfading glory of the Spirit of life in the blood! (The ministry of the New Testament reveals oneness and permanence. In Christ the idea of distance and delay is cancelled.)

When looked at from the correct stand point of a renewed mind what a change is seen and recognized by intuitive knowing. Until our next visit may the LORD increase you and yours understanding of the mystery.

What a wonder our LORD is when we are used by him as his witnesses to others yet again. I am still reeling from being allowed to be his mouth piece, what a wonderful high, what a joy. Moving on to our subject of interest being with verse 12 through the end of this chapter.


2Corinthians 2:12-13, 14-17 "Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord, I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish(G622): To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not as many, which corrupt(G2585) the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ." (KJV)

2Corinthians 2:12-13, 14-17 "When I came to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ, even though a door was opened for me in the Lord, my spirit was not at rest because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I took leave of them and went on to Macedonia.

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing(G622), to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, like so many, peddlers(G2585) of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ." (ESV)

2Corinthians 2:12-13, 14-17 "So instead of coming to you I went to Troas where again a great ministry opportunity in the GOOD NEWS of Christ was opened for me in the LORD. (There is not a place on this planet that is not an open door for this gospel!) I expected to find Titus in Troas and was hoping to hear from him refreshing news concerning you. I felt so urgent to meet with Titus that I took leave from Troas and hastened on to look for him in Macedonia. (Look at 2Corinthians 7:4-8)

I am overwhelmed with gratitude! Wherever my travels take me I am so aware that GOD leads us as trophies in his victory parade. What he knows to be true about us diffuses through us like a perfume of sweet aroma everywhere we go, celebrating the success of the cross. (In ancient triumphs, abundance of perfumes and wreaths of sweet smelling flowers were used in victory celebrations, in great abundances.) We are a sweet savor of Christ to GOD evident in everyone we meet. The fragrance of Christ is recognized in all to salvation. The same gospel that announces the fragant victory of Christ declares the odor of death; the [1,G622]defeat of destruction in everyone! ( This parade of victory is a public announcement of the defeat of the religious systems and structures based on the Law of works. Just like it is in any public game where the victory celebration of the winning team is an embarrassment for the losing team. The death of evil is our announcement in the resurrection life! The word, [1,G622 from G575 and the base of G3639] apollumi, is derived from (G575) apo, away from, and (the base of G3639 is) lou, to loosen, to undo, to dissolve (G3639 or G2647, to destroy). (Look to 1John 3:8. ) The message we communicate is a fragrance with an immediate association; to darkness, it is the smell of doom (the death of death); to life it is the familiar fragrance of life itself. We are not competing with those who have added their [1,G2585]price tag to the gospel. Our conversation has its source in Christ; we communicate from the transparent innocence of a face to face encounter with GOD. (The law of personal performance or [1,G2585] kapeleuo, means retail, a huckster, which we translate here as the gospel with a price tag.) (The Mirror)

In our next chapter we begin our table feeding with solid food hope that your ready, real ready. No more breast feeding. Until then may of LORD and GOD increase his faith within you and yours.

We are on our way to the pot of gold, the new covenant area, but first we have to reaffirm the love of all peoples and the forgiveness due all who are labeled sinners, outsiders. The unknowing or uninitiated or unaccepted. This love being the very nature of GOD as all are his, made by him of his image and likeness, though many remain in darkness of this fact of truth, either by choice or because they have accepted the lie of separation, fostered in the deception of Genesis 3:5 of 1-7. Okay, let us move on to chapter 2.


2Corinthians 2:1-4, 5-11 "But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness. For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me? And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all. For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many. So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow. Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm(G2964) your love toward him. For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan(G4567) should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices(G3540)." 2Corinthians 2:1-4, 5-11 "For I made up my mind not to make another painful visit to you. For if I cause you pain, who is there to make me glad but the one whom I have pained? And I wrote as I did, so that when I came I might not suffer pain from those who should have made me rejoice, for I felt sure of all of you, that my joy would be the joy of you all. For I wrote to you out of much affliction and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to cause you pain but to let you know the abundant love that I have for you.
Now if anyone has caused pain, he has caused it not to me, but in some measure—not to put it too severely—to all of you. For such a one, this punishment by the majority is enough, so you should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. So I beg you to reaffirm(G2964) your love for him. For this is why I wrote, that I might test you and know whether you are obedient in everything. Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive. Indeed, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ, so that we would not be outwitted by Satan(G4567); for we are not ignorant of his designs(G3540)." 2Corinthians 2:1-4, 5-11 "I came to the following conclusion that paying you another visit (on my return trip) would be of no advantage to you! My visit would only put you in an awkward position; since you knew that you caused me grief, you would feel under obligation to cheer me up! I wrote to you instead; not risking the embarrassment of facing you and then having to deal with sorrow when I really desired from you was joy! I am convinced that my joy is also your joy! There was nothing blase' about my writing. I was in tears with painful distress and deep-felt anguish, certainly not to upset you but that you would know the intensity of my love for you.
I am not exaggerating the issue by saying that the man whose behavior caused such alarm in  me did not merely grieve me but in a sense everyone of you. This person has been amply taxed by all. It is due time now to offer him your forgiveness and closeness lest he be completely swamped with regret. I implore you to make your love for him [1,G2964]very clear. The intent and urgency of my first letter was to prove your loyalty to my ministry and message in its full context. I am joined to you (geographic distance does not separate us); your forgiveness is my forgiveness. The favor reflected in the face of Christ is our only valid reference to true forgiveness anyway. The [2,G3540]agenda of any [1,G4567]accusation is to divide and dominate. We are not ignorant about that. Paul herein explains the reason that he changed his itinerary from that which he had laid out to another. And this will close our first adventure in the 2Corinthians letter.


2Corinthians 1:15-22, 23-24 "And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit; And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea. When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay? But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed(G5548) us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand." (KJV)

2Corinthians 1:15-22, 23-24 "Because I was sure of this, I wanted to come to you first, so that you might have a second experience of grace. I wanted to visit you on my way to Macedonia, and to come back to you from Macedonia and have you send me on my way to Judea. Was I vacillating when I wanted to do this? Do I make my plans according to the flesh, ready to say "Yes, yes" and "No, no" at the same time? As surely as God is faithful, our word to you has not been Yes and No. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you, Silvanus and Timothy and I, was not Yes and No, but in him it is always Yes. For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed(G5548) us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

But I call God to witness against me—it was to spare you that I refrained from coming again to Corinth. Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, for you stand firm in your faith." (ESV)

2Corinthians 1:15-22, 23-24 "In looking forward to celebrating our mutual joy, my initial plan was to come to you first before going anywhere else. We wanted you to enjoy the double blessing of our visit. We were really looking forward to seeing again on our return from Macedonia and then to being escorted by you on our trip to Judea. It is not our style to hesitate between two opinions. We have no desire to make promises that we cannot keep. When we said yes to you we did not mean, no! GOD's certainity is our persuasion; there is no maybe in him! The Son of GOD, Jesus Christ, whom I, Paul, Sylvanus, and Timothy boldly announced in you, is GOD's ultimate yes to "you-manity." Jesus is GOD's Yes to you! ALL, Human life is associated in all that he is. In GOD's mind there exists not even a hint of hesitation about this! (Look at 2Corinthians 3:4) In hin the detail of every single promise of GOD is fulfilled; Jesus is GOD's yes to your entire well being! In our union with him the Amen that echoes in us all gives evidence to his glorious intent through us. GOD himself authorizes our oneness with you Christ. He is our anointing! (The word G5548, χρίω chriō, means to smear or rub with oil, to anoint.) His personal signet signature is the official stamp that sanctions the integrity of our ministry to you; this is the seal of the Spirit in our hearts.

So GOD is my witness in this; I did not break my promise to you. The only reason i did not come to Corinth was to spare you the embarrassment. I am not your faith-monitor! I am your co-worker and I am jealous for your joy! You stand on your own feet in your faith!" (The Mirror)

Herein Paul brings to light his integrity as it seems to have been in question because of those who opposed him and his controversial message of redemption's resurrection and the revelation of Christ in it. The LORD truly blessed my spirit yesterday, first the whole day was a living witness to his awesomeness by was of two no, make that three opportunities to sharing his revelation. With ease of understanding. The first was at the local VA out patient clinic with two not one but two receptive spirits of his speaking to through me then the third at the hospital were my wife being looked after. Boy! What a day for his life and light to shine. Thank you LORD!


2Corinthians 1:12-14 "For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience(G4893), that in simplicity(G572) and godly sincerity(G1505), not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation(G390) in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read(G314) or acknowledge(G1921); and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end; As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as(G2509) ye also are ours in the day(G2250) of the Lord Jesus." 2Corinthians 1:12-14 "The testimony of our [1, G4893]conscience is the source of our joy! We are [2]intertwined together in [3,G1505]transparent innocence; there is no trace of a hidden agenda for the flesh to glory in. GOD's grace is our [4,G390]conversation in the world and is amplified in our oneness with you. Grace abounds! (What we are able to see together gives me so much reason for boosting in our salvation! The word, [1, G4893 from G4894] suneido, translates as conscience, joint-seeing; and [2,G572 from G573 and G4120] haplous comes from hama, a particle of union. The word (G4120) pleko, translates as to intertwine, and [3,G1505 from G1506 and G2919] heilikrine translates as scrutinized in the rays of the sun to prove its flawlessness. The word [4,G390 from G303 and G4762] anastrepho is from (G303) ana, upwards and (G4762) strepho, to turn back again. [Look at James 1:5]) There is nothing to be read between the lines but only that which you will be able to [1,G314]recognize with [2,G1921]immediate resonance. I am convinced that you will see the full intent and conclusion of our testimony from start to finish, and that you will never find any reason to think [imagine] otherwise! (The word, [1,G314 from G303 and G1097] anaginosko , is from [G303] ana, upwards and [G1097] ginosko; means to know again by recognition, and [2,G1921 from G1909 and G1097] epiginosko, where the preposition[G1909] epi suggests a continual influence upon; means to become fully acquainted with.) To some extent you have already understood that our joy is [1,G2509]mirrored in one another. The [2,G2250]day of the Lord Jesus Christ is no longer a distant promise but a fulfilled reality. (The word, [1, G2509 from G2505 and G4007] kathaper , often translated, exactly as, comes from[G2505] kata, meaning according to and[G4007] per, which is an enclitic particle significant of abundance and thoroughness which comes from the word[G4007 and G4008], peiro, meaning to pierce. The use of the Latin enclitic relates to a word that throws an accent back onto the preceding word, which is here translated as mirrored.

The "day of the Lord Jesus Christ," is [2, G2250] hemera, which is a specific and measure period. Eastern usage of this term differs from our western usage. Any part of a day is counted as a whole day, hence the expression, "three days and three nights," does not mean a literal whole day, but at least one whole day plus part of two other days.

The day of the Lord Jesus is the theme of Scripture as in 1Peter 1:10 of 10-12; "this was what the Prophets were studying and desiring to know." The content of their message always pointed to the day and the person where the promise of redemption would be realized. The sufferings of the Messiah would redeem and release the glory of GOD's image and likeness in human life; the glory that Adam lost on behalf of the human race, returns. In Acts 17:31, "In the resurrection, GOD gave proof to the redeemed innocence of humanity; the "day and the person" prophesied was fulfilled in Jesus." Jesus gives context to this day in John 14:20, "In that day you will know that I am in my Father and you are in me and I am in you." ) (The Mirror)

Here we are again in the throws of a new beginning of more revelation of Christ in us as our origin of human form now having been redeemed and restored to it's original state of innocence. How hard is this to take in and believe is the great struggle of the religious minded person lot a lone the pagan person of Paul's day. How much more of the religious person of our own dispensation? This I am sure causes the LORD's Spirit some obstacles and hurdles of hindrances, for old ways and old chains of slavery are hard to break.


2Corinthians 1:8-11 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us; Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf." 2Corinthians 1:8-11 "For we do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many." (ESV)

2Corinthians 1:8-11 "We want you to know that we are not exaggerating the extreme contradictions and sufferings we faced in Asia! We were weighed down with enormous persecution beyond any measure of endurance; we really thought that we are going to die! We came to terms within ourselves with the fact that we were on death row; there was no escape except our belief that GOD could raise us from the dead. In the resurrection of Jesus from the dead he already delivered us from death's greatest threat; now he continues to make our victory over death's claim a daily reality. We are confident that he will raise us again! (Look at 2Corinthians 11:24-28 and Acts 14:19) We value your prayers!
