We are looking into the resurrection of the dead here in chapter 15 of 1Corinthians, as seen through the redeemed eyes of Paul, the lawyer, Pharisee. Who walked out his salvation each and every day after his own redemption rebirthing on the Damascus road incident and some time with the then ascended Lord Jesus Christ, in the person of the Holy Spirit in the wilderness. We are doing one section of thought at a time to get the fullest impact of it. And the meaning of the physical life being that of a seed for the spiritual victory.
1Corithians 15:42-49 "So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul (in Genesis 2:7); the last Adam was made a quickening spirit (John 5:21, 6:57-58). Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly." (KJV)

But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven." (ESV)
1Corinthians 15:42-49 "So also with the resurrection from the dead, the body that was sown into the earth decays, but the risen person is immortal. It is sown in sadness but raised in honor; it is sown in frailty but raised in power. It is sown as a physical body and raised as a spiritual body. The fact that there is a physical body (in Genesis 2:7) confirms that there is also a spiritual body (John 5:21, 6:57-58). It is recorder in Scripture how the first Adam became a living soul; the last (second) Adam is a life radiating spirit. (In partaking of the resurrection life now, we radiate the Christ life within. No wonder then that Peter's shadow healed people! Jesus is the last (second) Adam, of promise of Genesis 3:15; when he died humanity's Adamic reference died. Jesus is the head of the human race. Human life is not defined by Adam but is now defined in Christ. [Matters not nationality, faith, religion, or government system one finds themselves in.] ) Physical life is the platform for spiritual life. Human life was reduced to slavery and the soul-ruled earthy realm through Adam's fall but now is awakened to Lordship of the heavenly realm of spiritual realities through the knowledge of our co-resurrection and co-ascension with Christ. ( [Look at Colossians 3:1-11.] We theologically created the idea of humanity being "sinful by nature" as if humans are flawed by design. When in fact it is a distorted mind-set that we inherited from fallen Adam, that Jesus, as Christ had to free us from. "Your indifferent mind-set alienated you from GOD into a lifestyle of annoyances, hardships, and labors, sponsored by the Law of sin and death that lodged in your bodies hosting a foreign influence, foreign to your true original design; just like a virus that would attach itself to a person." Colossians 1:21, "There is nothing wrong with our design or salvation, we are thinking wrong. [Look at Isaiah 55:8-11, Ephesians 4:17-18; 2:1-11.] ) The reduced state of the individual left its mark on humanity as being earthy; now the redeemed state of humanity confirms their origin in Christ (GOD) and marks their new heavenly life. Just as we were once defined by the flesh (our earthy image) we are now defined by our spirit (our heavenly kingdom) image, once again." (The Mirror)
