"The Secret of GOD," as revealed by John in the Revelation of Christ, chapter 15:5, with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Okay, we are in the middle of chapter 15, where in a fashion like Egypt's plague's, plagues are again released. With what John indicates are for the same thing, is in store of the world of unbelief.

Revelation 15:5-8 "And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: and the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled." (KJV)

Revelation 15:5-8 "After this I looked, and the sanctuary of the tent of witness in heaven was opened, and out of the sanctuary came the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes around their chests. And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever, and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished." (ESV)

Revelation 15:5-8 "And coinciding with this, I saw the inner shrine of the skin-tabernacle of testimony, with the veil wide open in the heavenly dimension. (The prophetic skin-tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting is now redeemed in the Incarnation - the human body hosts this place of intimate encounter. See Ex. 33:7, the tent of meeting (H168) אֹהֶל, the moyed which is the Niphal [reflexive] of - od, with Ayin [o] as a picture of the eye, the d is a picture of the door. Combined these mean "see the door." As coming to a tent a tent of meeting and entering in. Where a fire is lite as the guide, for a safe return. A place, time or event that is repeated again and again - in the reflexive form. In the Septuagint the Greek word marturion is used - that which gives evidence - testimony. So the tent of meeting is the tent of testimony! Rev. 11:19) And the seven Shepherd-Messengers - representing the seven wounds - proceeded out of the inner shrine arrayed in spotlessly clean line, shining with the radiant brightness of a precious stone and with golden girdles wrapped around their chests. And one of the four living creatures gave each of the Shepherd-Messengers a typical temple golden fire-pan; A broad shallow saucer of pure gold, [1] filled with the coals from the bronze altar where the Lamb was sacrificed-this is the passion of GOD. These golden fire-pan were loaded with the entire meaning of the sacrifice! (A golden "fire-pan" was for the purpose of carrying fire, in order to burn incense on the day of Atonement once a year in the ultimate place of worship. Filled, (G1073) γέμω, gemō, to be full, from gomos, load, or cargo. The word (G7322 from G2380) thumos, passion of GOD is translated as wrath of GOD, is from (G2380) thuō, to sacrifice, to immolate, to slay, the killing of the paschal lamb. The words (G5375, G5552) phialas chrusas, refers to a golden fire-pan specifically designed to receive the sweet smelling frankincense which was lighted with coals from the brazen altar, where the sacrifice has just been presented in the outer court and then offered on the golden altar before the veil.

The Latin word fumos to smoke originates from thumos. However, thumos does not mean fumes or smoke. In fact, many of our modern translations give us something totally different. Today, psuchē is translated as "the soul" or something along those lines of the "breath of life." The Greeks believed that their soul was a smoke or a breath that floated within their body. We have images given by ancient philosophers who described the soul dispersing as a smoke would. By the time of Classical Greece, the word meaning "to sacrifice" was the Greek verb (thuo) from  another verb not used any longer, and this verb is therefore another etymology for Latin's fumus which comes from the Greek words for both soul and sacrifice. It is meant to describe any sacrifice that is specifically done by cremation. They were releasing their souls through fire, creating smoke. In the ancient greek mind, smoke represents the soul of the sacrifice.

Thus the English word for fumes and the origin of the word to smoke in Romance Languages comes from the ancient Greek words for soul and sacrifice. See these interesting notes on the etymology of the words translated, smoke and sacrifice. At: hhtps://amarnaletters.wordpress.com/tag/greek/) The atmosphere of the inner shine was saturated with the glorious presence of GOD'S power! The doxa and dunamis of GOD, manifested in the fire, were carried in these golden fire-pans from the altar and it filled the temple with its smoke. No one was able to enter the inner shrine until the seven wounnds of the seven Messengers were completed. (See Ex. 19:18, "And Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire; And the smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain quaked greatly."

Ex. 19:10-11, "And the LORD said to Moses, 'Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments, and be ready by the third day; For on the third day the LORD will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.") (The Mirror, with editing.)

Now I am going to add my own five cents worth here. This morning shortly after the new day began the LORD showed me something of interest. Now before I get into it I must say that I am not a numerologist though I do find it fastening how numbers play into GOD'S character and personality in our relationship with Him. To begin, man and woman as spirit is first introduces during the sixth day of creation, this in Gen. 1:26-27, this giving humanity the number 6. Here is found in spirit of both man and woman spoken of created in Elohim's image and likeness meaning that Elohim's home is within His creation, our human form, which follows the seventh day's rest of Gen. 2:1-2. Herein all parties are at rest, giving us the number 7, GOD'S number. Then began the eighth day, meaning GOD'S perfection it is within this day, wherein GOD uses clay to mold the form of our humanity and breathes His breath of life (spirit into this form, our origin of Gen. 1:26-27) of His perfection or completeness, righteousness,,,ie. innocence, number 8. His righteousness and this relates to mans innocence. As both are interchangeable by meanings and definition. Then the LORD took me to the day of His resurrection on the first day of the week, which brings us back to the eighth day of our creation after the Sabbath rest of gen. 2:1-2,
In, Matthew 27 verse 51 has a ; in it and this is a break in time to coincide with Hosea 6:2-3 and our human form that clothed GOD'S Perfection, the man Jesus (Emmanuel) who was the Messiah-Christ, Spirit of GOD in a righteousness or innocent man, the second Adam. All paved the way for what our studies have proven to be the true Gospel of good news.

In our next visit we shall begin our look at chapter 16, the LORD willing.
