Divine Spiritual Riches (when united to Christ)

One of the most important things, at least for me, was the moment that I could finally see. Yes, see what GOD's word and Bible was speaking and revealing. This needless to say turned my world and life upside right as every thing became brighter and more vivid, truly life was more abundant than ever before. This took place in me and my wife back in 2007, on GOD's timetable. When life's depth and perception were more clearer. All that said have you ever consider that with new birth into GOD's Life and kingdom whether there are special privileges for believers? I can say, that yes!, there are, for I just gave one of them. Another one of them is what caused me to put forth the effort to do this and my other blog. But there is more and it is that which I will under the LORD look into today. But first Pastor Hoekstra and his fine teaching on Grace and how it effected king David. And then with the use of the ESV translation I will look into special privileges of believers, like you an I.

"David Trusting in and Praising the Lord and His Word"

"In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust . . . In God (I will praise His word), In the LORD (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust . . . You have magnified Your word above all Your name." (Psalm 56:4, 10-11 and 138:2)

"To live by Grace, one must trust in the LORD. As Abram who became Abraham did by faith, and then David, as he urged others to trust in the LORD. "Trust in the LORD . . . feed on His faithfulness . . . Commit your ways to the LORD, Trust also in Him" (Psalm 37:3, 5). David himself trusted in the LORD. "In GOD I have put my trust." Part of trusting in the LORD involves holding His word in an exalted (fear its) place (trusting in it, honoring it, praising it). David proclaimed, "I will praise His word." This is an inherent part of living by Grace, since it is "the word of His Grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance" (Acts 20:32).

GOD's word is so trustworthy, so praiseworthy. David proclaimed the unique character of GOD's word, which gives the word its incomparable effectiveness. "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul" (Psalm 19:7). GOD's word is fully sufficient. The LORD has left nothing out of it that we need for spiritual development for growth. Therefore, it can transform lives into what GOD wants you an I to be. That being our being "One with Him" as seen in John 17 and Ephesians 4:16.

Furthermore, "The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple" (Psalm 19:7). The scriptures are absolutely reliable. They provide GOD's indisputable insights into life on earth, as well as necessary preparation for heaven. Consequently, they bring the LORD's wisdom to the naïve and the open-minded.

Additionally, "The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart" (Psalm 19:8). The Bible alone is irrefutably correct. Man's perspectives, opinions, systems, and theories are riddled with inaccuracies and fallacies. What a joy this brings to the inner man, knowing that there is a place to find the LORD's absolute realities. Our being restored to Him and within Him where we are One charter in the world of darkness and chaos. We are the light of the world as was Jesus the son of man.

Moreover, "The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes" (Psalm 19:8). GOD's word is holy and untainted. Man's words are polluted with sin and self in all sorts of unrighteousness. When people feed on the contaminated words of humanity, their eyes become dull and lifeless. They are in chaos and lawlessness as that is their fallen character. Contrariwise, when the words of the LORD are consistently taken in, one's eyes shine with heaven's light.

Upon consideration of the unparalleled character and ability of GOD's word (law and Will), it is no surprise that the Spirit of GOD inspired David to exclaim, "You have magnified Your word above all Your name.""

Special Privileges of believers,

Matthew 13:10-17 "Then the disciples came and said to Jesus, "Why do You speak to them in parables?" And He answered them, "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand (for they have no light, only darkness). Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: "'"You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive." For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.' But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."

Luke 10:23-24 "Then turning to the disciples He said privately, "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see! For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."

Romans 5:1-5 "Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with GOD through our LORD, Jesus Christ. Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into His Grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of GOD. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because GOD's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us."

1Corithians 2:6-13 "Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this Age or of the rulers of this Age, are doomed to pass away. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of GOD, which GOD decreed before the Ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this Age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the LORD of glory. But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what GOD has prepared for those who love Him"— these things GOD has revealed in us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of GOD. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of GOD except the Spirit of GOD. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit Who is from GOD, that we might understand the things freely given us by GOD. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual."

Colossians 1:24-29 "I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of His body, that is, the church (those under the patriarch headship of GOD, the Father and LORD as seen in Psalm 36:6-10), of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from GOD that was given to me for you, to make the word of GOD fully known, the mystery hidden for Ages and generations but now revealed to His saints. To them GOD chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all His energy that HE powerfully works within me."

1John 2:18-25 "Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us. But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. I write to you, not because you do not know the Truth, but because you know Him, and because no lie is of the Truth. Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also (for this is the anointing our seal). Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. This is the promise that HE made to us—Eternal Life."
