Divine Spiritual Richness (Individual call to Consecration)

This morning I messed up by erasing my first section while doing this blog. Now I have to draw strength from the LORD to reinstate what He had shown me then. I have chosen to reveal our own consecration to live as one with the ascend Lord, Who is the same LORD of the old testament record. The Spirit that man had in Genesis 2. Which was lost by the rebellion of Genesis 3 but was promised to be restored in 3:15. Our consecration requires our obedience for, can two walk as one, is the hidden phrase of scripture. Many may deny the LORD by denying this possibility for Jesus said, that if any man deny Him that they deny the Father as well, paraphrased. Jesus reveals this in His priestly prayer of John 17. And Paul shows this in 2Timothy 2:8-13 and Titus 1:10-16. There are some who say that the prayer of John 17 speaks to one group of people, namely the disciples or Israel but are not we all His disciples? after all a disciple is no more than a student of Christ especially after we have received the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth. Who's purpose it is to reveal all that is Christ, in the Bible passages both in writing and then within us making us One with the Living Word, Christ. The fruit comes from within our own soul as it bears witness of Him in faith. This is our being fruitful as His witnesses. This is also what Jeremiah spoke of in 31:33-34 where we see the LORD promise us His Spirit to infill us again. Making us as the Genesis 2 man of promise. This was shown to Paul and he spoke of this as a mystery hidden by GOD within Himself, But Jesus promised His disciples that they were to know and understand the mystery of the kingdom, in Matthew 13:11-12, Mark 4:11 and elsewhere. Now here is a little know truth the term Israel means prince that walks with God, where "Ish" means man, "ra" walks or lives, and "El" means GOD. Put together it means man or prince walks with GOD. For who is the true Israel of GOD? One who walks with GOD, not as God but instead as One with, meaning in agreement with, as in unity, two being one. You know like with a marriage. Jesus knew fully what was to shortly come about with His death and the transformation that was on the horizon. But was restricted by the Law and the Prophets and could not plainly or openly speak of them during His tenure.
Now for Pastor Hoekstra and his teaching on Grace as seen in Isaiah and then I will look into Christ's Words Concerning Obedience, making use of the ESV translation. All this being done under the led of the LORD within me.

"Isaiah Encouraging All to Wait on the Lord"

"Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength . . . And I will wait on the LORD, Who hides His face from the house of Jacob; and I will hope in Him . . . And it will be said in that day: "Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation." (Isaiah 40:31; 8:17; and 25:9)

"Isaiah's desire to live by Grace is evident in his proclaiming that GOD's power is available for those who would admit their own weakness. Now, we see Isaiah's heart for GOD's Grace in his encouraging all to wait on the LORD.

One of Isaiah's encouragements to wait on the LORD came in conjunction with GOD's promises to give power to the weak. "He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength . . . They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" (Isaiah 40:29, 31). This gracious work of GOD in people's lives hinged upon their waiting on the LORD. "Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength."

Another of Isaiah's encouragements to wait on the LORD occurred in a time when Israel was rebelling against GOD. "For the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people" (Isaiah 8:11). The LORD strongly urged Isaiah to stand against Israel's rebellion, even though they were threatening the prophet. "Do not . . . be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. The LORD of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear" (Isaiah 8:12-13). Isaiah's encouraging testimony revealed that his heart was fully set on the LORD. "And I will wait on the LORD, Who hides His face from the house of Jacob; and I will hope in Him." GOD was not revealing Himself to rebellious Israel. On the other, Isaiah would "wait on the LORD" (that is, he would "hope in Him").

Isaiah's ultimate encouragement to wait on the LORD is related to GOD's establishing of His everlasting kingdom. "And it will be said in that day: 'Behold, this is our GOD; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation'." Those who place their hope, that is to say total trust in the LORD during their pilgrimage on earth will eventually rejoice forever when the LORD eternally implements the fullness of His Salvation for His people!"

Christ's Words Concerning our Obedience:

The Base Rock of Character,

Matthew 7:24-29 (Jesus is speaking) "Everyone then who hears these words of Mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it." When Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at His teaching, for He was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes."

Essential to Membership in GOD's Family,

Matthew 12:46-50 "While He was still speaking to the people, behold, His mother and His brothers stood outside, asking to speak to Him. But He replied to the man who told Him, "Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?" Stretching out His hand toward His disciples, He said, "Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the Will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother."

The Key to Spiritual Knowledge,
John 7:14-18 "About the middle of the feast (the Feast of Booths) Jesus went up into the temple and began teaching. The Jews therefore marveled, saying, "How is it that this man has learning, when he has never studied?" Jesus answered them, "My teaching is not Mine, but His Who sent Me. If anyone's will is to do GOD's Will, he will know whether the teaching is from GOD or whether I am speaking on My own authority. The one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but the one who seeks the glory of Him Who sent Him is true, and in Him there is no falsehood."
Secures the Blessing of Divine Fellowship,

John 14:18-24 and 1John 2:15-17 (Jesus is speaking) "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. Whoever has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and WE will come to him and make our home with Him. Whoever does not love Me does not keep My words. And the word that you hear is not Mine but the Father's Who sent Me."

1John 2:15-17 "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the Will of God abides forever."
