Divine Spiritual Richness (Individual call to Consecration)

Can two walk together except they be in agreement is part of my field of looking at our call to Consecration and Obedience to Christ Who is the power of the Spirit restored to man after rebirthing into the kingdom of GOD. This being a necessary step towards our being prepared to and exodus from this evil lawless world of chaos. Now chaos is the proper word for darkness as seen in Genesis 1:1-2. The next targeted area of study is our Obedience to Christ but first Pastor Hoekstra and his fine teaching on Grace the Gospel message of this Age brought to us by the eternal Covenant in the Blood of Jesus. Which changed the old standards of GOD, the LORD, dealing solely with Israel through His chosen Prophets. Where each Prophet knew the way of GOD and walked as His witnesses and often spoke for Him. I have seen and heard it said that no one knows the ways of GOD and to that I say it is not so. For the whole of the book reveals to those who have become His learn of the fullness of His wonderful Truth by these words and thing that remain lost still to the world and its many denominational, undenominational churches because the Holy Spirit of GOD is left out in the cold in many of them. I will again use the ESV translation for todays study. And if you have not seen or noticed already the LORD is leading my thoughts today. Keeping in mind and before our eyes, that the LORD of the old testament is the Christ of the New.

"Waiting on the LORD, Hoping in the LORD"

"I will wait on the LORD . . . and I will hope in Him . . . Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! . . . Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the LORD." (Isaiah 8:17; Psalm 27:14; and 31:24)

"Living by waiting on the LORD offers another helpful perspective on living by Grace. Waiting on the LORD is the same spiritual reality as hoping in the LORD. "I will wait on the LORD . . . and I will hope in Him." Waiting on the LORD is not merely about waiting (that is, allowing time to pass). Rather, it concerns humbly placing our hope and expectations in the LORD GOD as time is passing, regardless of what is taking place around us. This is what living by Grace comprises (looking to the LORD to work on our behalf and within our hearts). As HE restores within and then through us a much needed relationship where two walk as One. As we learn of His revelation, His light becomes the glue that binds two as in a marriage.

Waiting on the LORD (hoping in the LORD) is a privilege that is appropriate for every area of our lives, as He changes our character to that of His. Furthermore, wondrous consequences result from hoping in our GOD. "Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! . . . Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD." When we place our hope in the LORD (waiting for Him to work in our lives and circumstances), He brings us spiritual courage and spiritual empowering within our inner man. As our spirit grows in His knowledge which none of us can surpass. However we can mature in His wisdom and knowledge over time as we receive from Him in each stage of His plan and purpose.

Those who wait on the LORD have a distinctively different destiny than the wicked, than the evildoers. "For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth . . . Wait on the LORD, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it" (Psalm 37:9, 34). Evildoers (the wicked, who have no interest in the way of salvation) end up cut off. They lose everything that they attempted to accomplish in the developing of their personal earthly kingdoms. They thought they could take over a portion of this world, which belongs to our Creator God. Instead, they lose it all. They are cut off forever from their achievements, as well as from the GOD Who made them. GOD has but One Way and we are all called to it. On the other hand, those who hope in the LORD inherit all of creation, as well as an eternal relationship with their Creator Redeemer. He has been restored to them as their Father the Patriarch Head of His one Nation made up of All people tongues and races of man. For HE shows No partiality.

Truly, "The LORD is good to those who wait for Him" (Laminations 3:25). Therefore, let us "hope in the LORD; For with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption" (Psalm 130:7). Yes, let us "hope in the LORD from this time forth and forever." (Psalm 131:3)

Examples of Obedience to Christ,

Matthew 4:18-22 "While walking by the Sea of Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. Then going on from there He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and He called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him."

Matthew 7:24-27, 28-29 (Jesus is speaking) "Everyone then who hears these words of Mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."
When Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at His teaching, for He was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes."

Matthew 9:9 "As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and He said to him, "Follow Me." And he rose and followed Him."

Matthew 21:1-11 "Now when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, "Go into the village in front of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, 'The Lord needs them,' and he will send them at once." This took place to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet, saying, (in Isaiah 62:11 and Zechariah 9:9) "Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your King is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.'" The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and put on them their cloaks, and He sat on them. Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. And the crowds that went before Him and that followed Him were shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the LORD! Hosanna in the highest!" And when He entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, "Who is this?" And the crowds said, "This is the Prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee."

Matthew 26:17-19 "Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Where will You have us prepare for You to eat the Passover?" He said, "Go into the city to a certain man and say to him, 'The Teacher says, My time is at hand. I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples.'" The disciples did as Jesus had directed them, and they prepared the Passover."

Luke 5:1-11 "On one occasion, while the crowd was pressing in on Him to hear the word of GOD, He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret, and He saw two boats by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets. Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon's, He asked him to put out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the people from the boat. When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, "Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch." And Simon answered, "Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at Your word I will let down the nets." And when they had done this, they enclosed a large number of fish, and their nets were breaking. They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O LORD." For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish that they had taken, and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men." And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him."

Luke 6:46-49 "Why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you? Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great."

John 2:1-11 "On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the wedding with His disciples. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine." And Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does this have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come." But His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever He tells you." Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water." And they filled them up to the brim. Then He said to them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast." So they took it. When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom and said to him, "Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now." This, the first of His signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested His glory. And His disciples believed in Him."

John 11:17-28, 29-30 "When Jesus came, He found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days. Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles off, and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them concerning their brother. So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met Him, but Mary remained seated in the house. Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever You ask from GOD, GOD will give You." Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again." To that Martha said to Him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day." Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes Me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" She said to Him, "Yes, Lord; I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, Who is coming into the world." When she had said this, she went and called her sister Mary, saying in private, "The Teacher is here and is calling for you."
"When she heard it, she rose quickly and went to Him. Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was still in the place where Martha had met Him."

John 14:18-24 (Jesus is speaking) "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. Whoever has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest (disclose) Myself to him." Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home within him. Whoever does not love Me does not keep My words. And the word that you hear is not Mine but the Father's Who sent Me."

John 21:4-8 "Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to them, "Children, do you have any fish?" They answered Him, "No." He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, but about a hundred yards off."

With all this I wont that all would look at the Battle Hymn of this Republic and listen with intent to it's words as it is our Battle call for this day and time. My wife has been playing it as she was awaken this morning by its words running through her spirit and mind.
