The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 7:1; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

In chapter 7 Paul spends sometime talking on marriage so lets see what we can glean from his and the Holy Spirits stand point, for we all need help. Unless we remain single, as Paul says he was.


1Corinthians 7:1-7 "Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment. For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that." (KJV)

1Corinthians 7:1-7 "Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: "It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman." But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. Now as a concession, not a command, I say this. I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own gift from God, one of one kind and one of another." (ESV)

1Corinthians 7:1-7 "In your writing to me you asked questions about marriage. (The fact that I am not married does not mean that I am against marriage.) Where a man is attached to his wife and she to him they are sexually secure. Marriage provides the ideal environment for both husband and wife to mutually esteem one another. The wife belongs to her husband and he belongs to her. Their bodies are no longer their own. By mutual agreement they may decide to abstain from physical contact for a specific period of time for prayer and fasting; not for prolonged times since this might give occasion for temptation. I am not making rules about marriage; this is simply my advice to you in responce to your request. I could recommend my own life to everyone; yet I am convinced that life is a gift whether you are single or married." (The Mirror)

We shall pick backup next time with verse 8, the LORD willing. Until then, may you learn from the Prince of Peace, to have peace with your fellow humanity as your increase in the knowledge of the LORD!

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in the 1Corinthians 6:12; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Here in verse 12 of 1Corinthians 6 Paul talks about the fact that our body and that of the LORD's church are alike and one and the same. My study Bible's differ on this point for one calls this section, "Flee Sexual Immorality," while another "The Body Is the LORD's." is it any wonder that there is so much disparity in the church. When we have already seen that we are to be on one mind or of one accord. Lets see what we shall find.


1Corinthians 6:12-20 "All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. (Genesis 2:24) But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." (KJV)


1Corinthians 6:12-20 "All things are lawful for me," but not all things are helpful. "All things are lawful for me," but I will not be dominated by anything. "Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food"—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written (in Genesis 2:24), "The two will become one flesh." But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." (ESV)


1Corinthians 6:12-20 "I am free to do what i want, but if what I do is inappropriate, i refrain from doing it and will not be snared by sudden notions. Your appetite for food and sex does not define you. Your life is tailor-made for GOD; you fit him like a glove; he fulfills your deepest longings! ("You know the old saying, "First you eat to live, and then you live to eat?" Well, it may be true that the body is only a temporary thing, but that's no excuse for stuffing your body with food, or indulging it with sex. Since the Master honors you with a body, honor him with your body!" --The Message. "But you cannot say that our physical body was made for sexual promiscuity; it was made for GOD. and GOD is the answer to our deepest longings." ---Phillips) GOD reveals in dramatic fashion the value he places of the human body our jiont resurrection with Jesus from the dead. (Faith sees us joined in his death and alive with him in his resurrection. It is plain for all to see that death lost its dominion over Christ in his resurrection; it need not ecer die again to prove a further point! [Romans 6:8-9]) This means that your bodies are co-members of his; which makes it absurd to even consider engaging his body in sexual promiscuity! Sex involves so much more than two bodies joining together; Scripture speaks of a sacred union of tow lives becoming one. How can we reduce this sacred union to harlotry? (There's more to sex than mere skin on skin. Sex is as much spiritual mystery as physical fact. --the Message) In our union with him we are one spirit with the LORD. Therefore Flee fornication! Every sexual sin is a violation of the sacredness of the human body and scars the conscience of the individual like no other sin does. (The best way to escape temptation is to remember who and who's you are.) Do you not realize that your body by design is the sacred shrine of the spirit of GOD (2Corinthians 6:16); he echoes GOD within you. Your body does not even belond to you in the first place. You are bought and paid for, spirit, soul and body. All of you are his. Live your life conscious of the enormous price wherewith GOD has values you. Your while being to him and exhibits him. You are his address; you are his real estate." (The Mirror)

Form this point Paul turns his attentions to marriage, which the LORD willing we shall love at next time. Until then may the LORD be with you in the power of his divine power.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 6:7; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Our next verses are short consisting of two so I will do two paragraphs today instead of one. Paul in them is continuing his thoughts on taking a brother to law by a lawsuit. Lets see what he has to say about this matter.


1Corithians 6:7-8 "Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren." (KJV)

1Corinthians 6:7-8 "To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? But you yourselves wrong and defraud—even your own brothers!" (ESV)

1Corinthians 6:7-8 "Even if one wins the case, it is a defeat for the church! Why not suffer wrong; it is a far greater victory if you rather be cheated and accept it joyfully, than what it would be to fight for the right to prove your point. By allowing the wisdom of this world to be your judge nothing will change; the injustice and fraud will merely continue to spread like cancer in your ranks." (The Mirror)


1Corinthians 6:9-11 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." (KJV)

1Corinthians 6:9-11 "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." (ESV)

1Corinthians 6:9-11 "Do not be distracted into error; the typical lifestyle of unrighteousness has nothing in common with the kingdom of GOD. (The kingdom of GOD is the dominion of the Christ-life within you.) People who continue to engage in prostitution, idolatry, adultery, sexual perversions, stealing, greed, drunkenness, abusiveness, and rage while they profess to be believers are deceiving themselves and have distanced themselves from the life of their design. What you once were in terms of your lifestyle has radically changed! You have been changed, restored to total harmony (holiness) and made righteous. The name of the Lord Jesus declares your salvation; the Spirit of our GOD realizes salvation in you! (1Corinthians 1:30, 2:2 ) (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 6:1; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Paul in the beginning of chapter 6 of 1Corinthians talks about those within the congregation as taking others to public court for trial. Lets see what a renewed mind-set sees about this.


1Corinthians 6:1-6 "Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers." (KJV)

1Corinthians 6:1-6 "When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life! So if you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who have no standing in the church? I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers, but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers?" (ESV)

1Corinthians 6:1-6 "It alarms me that you even consider to have law-people decide on disputes within your fellowship, while these so-called "judges" have no clue of the basis of our righteousness in Christ. ( Now keep Paul's introduction in mind from 1Corinthians 1:2: I address this writing to the Ekklesia of GOD in Corinth. You have been restored to the harmony of your original design; made holy in Christ Jesus; no wonder then that you are surnamed Saints. His name relates us to one another in a global family. Look also at Revelation 14:10 and 1Corinthians 1:30) Having discovered how thoroughly GOD sanctified us in Christ (1Corinthians 1:30), we now represent the principle of righteous judgment wherewith the whole world is to be judged; how can we possibly shrink from deciding a trivial matter within our own ranks? If the judgment we are entrusted with extends even into the spiritual realm where we are to judge angles, how much more relevant is our judgment now in deciding on day-to-day matters! Since you are fully competent to judge such matters in the light of the gospel of grace, why bother to involve people who judge according to the standards of this world? I mean this is most embarrassing! Are you expecting more justice from the world than from your own family? Is there not even one wise person in your midst that is able to settle in-house disputes? Do you see how foolish it would be for Friends to sue one another and reduce justice to a system that is founded in unbelief. (A system based on the Law of works and personal performance and not faith in the finished work of the cross.) (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 5:9; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are now at the close of 1Corinthians 5 with the following thought but somehow I just cannot seem to shake the thought that chapter 6 is tied to 5, shall we explore to find out why? First it strikes me that 6 speaks of lawsuits against an evil brother, as a stand alone subject. Should that not be done? Why not just do as suggested by Paul and leave them at that? I mean we are striving to look at these things having a renewed mind-set of innocence or put another way from our righteousness of GOD, just as our faith is GOD's faith so is our righteousness of innocence. This should change the way we see the Bible as it speaks of sin from a closed door of blindness and hypocrisy. As the fruit of the tree  of good and evil, a knowledge that only understands condemnation. As possessing and therefore comes the feigning of qualities and beliefs that one does not actually posses or hold, especially a pretense of piety or moral superiority, the very diffention of hypocrisy. This mind-set is what the church is based on these days.


1Corinthians 5:9-13 "I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person (Deuteronomy 13:5; 17:7, 12; 21:21; 22:21)." (KJV)

1Corinthians 5:9-13 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. "Purge the evil person from among you (Deuteronomy 13:5; 17:7, 12; 21:21; 22:21)." (ESV)

1Corinthians 5:9-13 "When I wrote to you about not associating with fornicators, I certainly did not mean that you should distance yourselves from the people of the world! If you had to avoid contact with the immoral, abusing people, drunkenness, and stealing is obviously not sitting around the same table of fellowship with you! It is none of my business to speak about the behavior of those outside the church; we are giving a responsible opinion regrading the behavior of those within our ranks. We know GOD's judgment regrading the world (the cross of Christ brought closure to every inferior reference); but in this case I am saying that you have to deal decisively with the troublemakers in your midst!" (The sinners were attracted to Jesus not because he introduced a compromised set of rules; something like, "it's all right to sin just don't get caught or, try and do it less!" Instead, he revealed in his person the mirror-reflection of their true origin, their original identity and the integrity of their authentic innocence!

They knew that the lie they lived as their identity had no power against the resonance of their own conscience. Jesus didn't say to the prostitute, "Go and sin less," he said to her, "Go and sin no more1" Jesus knew something about the life of our design that we had lost sight of! What he revealed, he also redeemed!) (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 5:6; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are at 1Corinthians 5 verse 6 and Paul is giving an account of immorality in the church, the very thing that has plagued the church since his and Peter's death around 68 AD. For like man the church has fallen ill by deception to idolatry, as did Israel so the church. I need not call out her sins as there are many as she plays the harlot now for almost 2000 years. With each branch pointing a figure of shame towards the other when in fact and truth there are now without filthy rags or grave cloths on her. For now have taken to heart what Paul tells this church to do in 2Corinthians 6:11-7:3, which we shall look at soon enough.


1Corinthians 5:6-8 "Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity[G1505] and truth." (KJV)

1Corinthians 5:6-8 "Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Let us therefore celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity[G1505] and truth." (ESV)

1Corinthians 5:6-8 "By ignoring the presence of even a small amount of leaven the whole lump of dough will soon be permeated; thus all ground for boasting in how good things seemed to have been will be lost! Because Christ our Paschal Lamb has already been sacrificed once and for ever, the old leaven of sin-consciousness, which was upheld by the Law, has already been thoroughly removed. On that basis alone are you able to now permanently rid yourselves of the old leaven-mind set of tolerating sin, which was our reasoning under the Law-system! (We are talking a brand new language: the new covenant is the new lump of dough without a trace of the leaven of the old system that was done away with in Christ, forever! A mind-set introduced and sustained by the law! "In the very repetition of these ritual sacrifices the awareness of guilt is reinforced rather than its being removed." [Hebrews 10:3] The testimony of GOD is my only persuasion concerning you: Jesus Christ died our (your) death on the cross! I can see you in no other light! "I have determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified!" [1Corinthians 2:2]

Hebrews 9:11-12 says, "But now Christ has made his public appearance as High Priest of a perfect tabernacle. The good things that were previously predicted have arrived. This new tabernacle does not derive from its shadow type, the previously man-made one. It is now reality." (The restoration of GOD's original dwelling place in human life is again revealed!) As High Priest, his permission to enter the Holy Place was not secured by the blood of beasts. By his own Blood he obtained access on behalf of the human race. Only one act was needed for him to enter the most sacred place of grace and there to institute a ransom of perpetual consequence.

[The perfection of the redemption he secured needs no further sacrifice. There are no outstanding debts; there is nothing we need do to add weight to what he has accomplished once and for all. The only possible priesthood activity we can now engage in is to continually bring a sacrifice of the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his Name; no blood, just fruit, even our acts of self-sacrifice, giving of time and money, etcetera are all just the fruit of our constant gratitude!] ) Our daily life is now the extension of the Passover celebration; feasting on sustained innocence! The old sin conscious-system, the leaven mind set (always anticipating and tolerating sin), is replaced with an understanding of our unleavened innocence, just like when a diamond is [1, G1505] scrutinized in the rays of the sun to confirm its flawless integrity. (The word, [1, G1505 from G1506 and G2919] elkirineia , translated in the rays of the sun.) (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 5:3; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Here we are at 1Corinthians 5 and verse 3 with nothing to say, or at least it seems that way for the moment. Paul in this short paragraph tells his readers that immorality defiles the whole body of those gathers as a unit of One. The one thing that should stand out is in the last thought dealing with harboring a fallen mindset or an evil imagination.


1Corrinthians 5:3-5 "For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, to deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." (KJV)

1Corinthians 5:3-5 "For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing. When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord." (ESV)

1Corinthians 5:3-5 "Even though I am not physically with you, my spirit is present in this reading of my letter; and I assure you as solemnly as if actually present in your gathering, that I have already concluded my verdict in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ: As you meet together and I meet with you in  my spirit by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ is present with us, such a person is to be released from your midst and handed over to the [1] Accuser; let the accusation consume his flesh until the light of day, the revelation of Jesus Christ rise for him again to rescue his spirit from the deceit of his sin. (Consider Paul's heart in 2Corinthians 2:6-8, 10-11, For such a one this punishment by the majority is enough; so you should rather turn to forgiveness and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. So I beg you to reaffirm your love for him. Any one whom you forgive, I also forgive. What I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ, to keep Satan [1 satanos, accuser) from gain the advantage over us; for we are not ignorant of his designs.
In Ephesians 4:26-27, Paul says, Even if you have a valid excuse, do not let anger dominate your day! If you don't deal with it immediately (in the light of the likeness of Christ in you) the sun sets for you and your day becomes one of lost opportunity where darkness employs anger to sane you in sin. Any sin that you tolerate is an open invitation to the [2] devil. Do not give him a platform to operate from. ( The word, [2, G1228 from the Hebrew H7854; and G1225 from G1223 and G906] diabolos , or Devil, comes from [G1223 and G90 dia+ballo, translated as because of the fall; is to harbor a fallen mind-set.)

Today we learned that an evil mindset is what drives those of mere human form, those who remain under the slavery's yoke of, slavery to guilt and shame. Because they are powerless to carry the weight of the Law's forced requirements and I might say they are clueless. The saga of "The Secret of GOD;" the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

In the post work that I did earlier today I brought up the term "hypocrisy." And now I want to take a moment or two to look at it from a renewed mind-set of righteousness and innocence, all of which is GOD's doing, as a gift given us. I drew from Webster's II dictionary in my thought on this word used in the introduction of that post. I now want to drew from Webster's 1828 dictionary, because it speaks from a religious since, to see what it says. I might note that where religion is spoken of we should think humanity. For the secret or mystery of Christ is that humanity is in the makeup of Jesus as the son of man, who shared our commonness of human form. Once this is fully understood all else falls into place. Now here is what Daniel Webster's 1828 dictionary says:

"HYPOC'RISY, n. [L. hypocrisis; Gr. simulation; to feign; to separate, discern or judge.]

1. Simulation; a feigning to be what one is not; or dissimulation, a concealment of one's real character or motives. More generally, hypocrisy is simulation, or the assuming of a false appearance of virtue or religion; a deceitful show of a good character, in morals or religion; a counterfeiting of religion.

Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Luke 12.

2. Simulation; deceitful appearance; false pretence.

Hypocrisy is the necessary burden of villainy."

"HYP'OCRITE, n.

1. One who feigns to be what he is not; one who has the form of godliness without the power, or who assumes an appearance of piety and virtue, when he is destitute of true religion.

And the hypocrite's hope shall perish. Job 8.

2. A dissembler; one who assumes a false appearance.

Fair hypocrite, you seek to cheat in vain."


Now what is stated here reveals that the teachings of the church, religion, as known is wrong for it assumes a hypocritical stance. Religion says, "you are not," when GOD says, "you are." And when this is applies in the way of religion it is wrong. For it is the leaven of the Pharisees. So the church is the influence of wrong confessions that hinder even when quoting scripture with the wrong mind-set. The mind-set of, "I am not!" When Jesus said, "I am." And that is our lesson, "I am," as GOD sees me and knows me. I agree with GOD and I win every-time I do.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 4:14; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Jumping right in at verse 14 of 1Corinthians 4 which shall take us into chapter 5 where immorality is spoken of, which is said to defile the whole church. And remember that we have seen that the church is our own body as the living temple of GOD's indwelling so our body is not our own, never was never will be. This is repeated again in 2Corinthians 6:16. And the body is representative of our human form and our common humanity which Jesus also shared in common with our form. This is what distinguishes man from the animal realm, where flesh is concerned, alone with the breath of GOD given at our birth, that is life animation within us, and it is this life that is also in our blood alone with water.


1Corinthians 4:14-5:2 "I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you. But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?  For it is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you." (KJV)

1Corinthians 4:14-5:2 "I do not write these things to make you ashamed, but to admonish you as my beloved children. For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel. I urge you, then, be imitators of me. That is why I sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church. Some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you. But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I will find out not the talk of these arrogant people but their power. For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power. What do you wish? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love in a spirit of gentleness? For it is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father's wife. And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you." (ESV)

1Corinthians 4:14-5:2 "My intention is not to embarrass you. I bring these things to your attention because you are my very dear children. While you may have countless mentors supervising your lives, you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the Gospel. I therefore summon you urgently to mirror my message. This is why I send my beloved son Timothy to you. He is rock-solid in his faith. He shall remind you of me and reinforce my specific message and emphasis in every place and every church I visit. (Paul's emphasis is unique in the way he taught the "in Christ," and "the Christ in you," and his finished work-message. "There is no other gospel in spite of the many so-called Christian products branded "gospel." If any hint of the Law remains, it is not good news but is merely religious foolishness of religious people's ideas, distracting from the gospel of Christ." [Look at Galatians 1:7] "This is the heart of the gospel that I proclaim; it began with an unveiling of his sonship in me, freeing me to announce the same sonship in the message of non-Jewish people. I felt no immediate urgency to compare notes with those who were familiar with Christ from a mere historic point of view." [Galatians 1:16]  text is quite clear, The Greek text is quite clear, "It pleased the Father to reveal his Son in me in order that I may proclaim him in the nations!" The word, [G1722 next to G1698] en emoi, is translated as "in me," and [G1722, G1484]  en ethnos is translated as in the Gentile nations[G1484], or the masses of non Jewish people! Not "among" the converted or the conversion of the Greeks in Acts 11, instead of reporting his findings to HQ in Jerusalem, he immediately finds Paul, knowing that Paul's gospel is the revelation of the mystery of Christ in the nations [see also Colossians 1:27]. No wonder then that those believers were the first to be called "Christians," or Christ-like! For the Son of GOD, Jesus Christ, Whom we proclaim in you, Silvanus and Timothy and I, were not Yes and No; but in him it is always YES! [2Corithians 1:17]) I know some of you have the vaunted idea that my message and I will just vanish off the face of the earth! You cannot wish me away! In the LORD's purpose I might show up sooner than what you think; then we will know if there is any dynamic in their inflated talk. The kingdom of GOD (the dominion of the Christ life) is about an empowered life and not just a matter of quoting your favorite teacher or Scripture!Would you prefer it if I come to you with a whip-in-hand approach or with a loving, gentile spirit? There is a scandal reported among you, a seual matter in your ranks has become public news: someone is said to have slept with his stepmother. This kind of behavior is not even tolerated in common society in general, let alone among believers! And you are engaged in discussing doctrine and organizing denominations! (Chapter 1:10-13) This is heartbreaking! This shameful situation should have been dealt with in the most urgent manner by clearly distancing yourselves from such behavior and even going as far as disassociating yourselves from this person. (In the first four chapter Paul makes it very clear that this gospel is not an excuse to disguise sin but to remove it! Anyone who suggests that grace is a license to sin is fuel for fire! [Look at 1Corinthians 3:12-15] ) (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 4:8; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Okay, we're now at verse 8 of 1Corinthinas 4 and we're looking at our being servants of Christ, our being of one Spirit without subversive divisions, but all of one mindset, that is to say having the mind of Christ. For to remain with a subversive mindset is to see things as the average Joe on the street, or as one still on the simple milk of the word under the slavery spill of mans religion be it what label, or brand it carries, of which there is about 3000 such. Every thing from Hindu to Muslim or any other letter in the alphabet soup. Each with its law(s) that foster obedience, condemnation, and for some a form of penance or repentance and don't forget taxation and oh don't forget a sin conscience or awareness of some sort. But we are all about leaving that all behind as the redeemed of GOD. Man does these things because deep within him is a need to know a deity or god.


1Corinthians 4:8-13 "Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you. For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we intreat [G3870]: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day." (KJV)

1Corinthians 4:8-13 "Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! Without us you have become kings! And would that you did reign, so that we might share the rule with you! For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, like men sentenced to death, because we have become a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute. To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless, and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; When slandered, we entreat [G3870]. We have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, the refuse of all things." (ESV)

1Corinthians 4:8-13 "You are already saturated, literally jam-packed to capacity; you cannot get any wealthier than what you are! You are royalty (because of what happened to you in Christ) not because of Apollos or Paul! Oh, that you might know this so that we may co-reign together with you! (We are not ranked any differently because we are the taught or that we taught you the Good News! So do not try and make heroes of us while you reduce yourselves to mere supporters and spectators [look at 1Corinthinas 1:30 and 2Corinthinas 10:12]. Paul is re-enforcing the message of how complete we already are in Christ as our only reference. We are no longer striving towards completeness; we are living from completeness. The language of the Old Covenant was "towards;" the language of the New is "from!" The old said, "Do!" The new says, "Done!" ) If you really want to know, there is nothing glamorous about being an Apostle! It seems to some that GOD has us on exhibition as it were, as clowns in the circus; the laughing stock of the religious world-system! We are the latest gossip in town. Even the angles frown upon us! And you want to idolize us, think again! We are not handing out autographs! Neither are we your latest brand of Christianity! We have a death-sentence hanging over our heads! Because of Christ we are considered fools (in the eyes of the religious society!). Our foolishness serves only one purpose though: to prove to you that Christ is your wisdom. Our weakness serves to convince you of your source of strength in Christ; our ill repute in the eyes of popular opinion is to persuaded you of your honored standing in Christ! (Do not allow what we are suffering for you to distract you from realizing how wise, and strong, and honored you really are in Christ.) While writing this to you my life would seem such a contradiction! I mean here I am telling you how complete and without shortcoming you already are, and I can hardly remember when last I have had a decent meal! As I am writing this my mouth is dry with thrist, I'm stripped of my clothing; I have been beaten black and blue, and have nowhere to go. I feel the fatigue from my physical labor. When people insult us we make sure that we speak well of them. We are harassed, but bear with it. Hurtful rumors do the rounds but we find refuge and [1, G3870] comfort in our true identity. We are reckoned as scapegoats, the scum of society. This is what we are faced with on a daily basis. (The word, [1, G3870 from G3844 and G2564] parakaleo, comes from [G3844] para, a preposition indicating close proximity, with a suggestion of union, and [G2564] kaleo, to identify by name, to surname. The Greeks used to apply the term [2] katharmata as scapegoats, to victims sacrificed to make expiation for the people, and even to criminals who were maintained at the public expense, that on the outbreak of a pestilence or other calamity they might be offered as scarifices to make expiation for the state.) The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 4:6; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Yah! know, back a little while ago, I was thinking of skipping the Corinthian letters all together. Now I am glad that the LORD changed my thinking on this matter. Okay, we are at verse 6, of the "Servants of Christ" study.


1Corinthians 4:6-7 "And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?" (KJV)

1Corinthians 4:6-7 "I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another. For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?" (ESV)

1Corinthians 4:6-7 "I have deliberately applied this to myself and Apollos to show you the futility of hero-worshipping; to put us in a contest would be completely out of the context of what I have written to you. (Both Apollos and I are on the same assignment: we are here for Y-O-U, to influence your faith to discover yourself in Christ and Christ in you. Every individual is equally gifted in him. [Look at 1Corinthians 3:5] Therefore no one has any reason to boast in themselves, as if they gained anything that does not already belong to them! For all things you wish to gain already belong to you! [Look at 1Corinthians 3:21 as well.]) How can there possibly be any grounds left for disputing or discrimination if there is nothing in us that we did not freely receive? Now if who you are and what you have is a gift and not a reward for good behavior, then boasting makes no sense, as it is taken out of the equation all together." (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 3:16; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Picking back up where we left off in 1Corinthians 3 and verse 16 through the end of this chapter or so I think, for now. This changes with we have a renewed mindset. again my study Bibles call this area,  "the divisions of the church" or "the ministry of the Apostles" or "the servants of Christ."


1Corinthians 3:16-17, 18-4:5 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple (John 17, 2Corinthians 6:16) of God is holy, which temple ye are.
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written (by Job in 5:13), "He taketh the wise in their own craftiness." And again (in Psalm 94:11), "The Lord knoweth[H3045, G1261] the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain[H1892]." Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's. Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers[G5257] of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of [G575] God." (KJV)

1Corinthians 3:16-17, 18-4:5 "Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple (John 17 and 2Corinthians 6:16) is holy, and you are that temple.
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written (by Job in 5:13) , "He catches the wise in their craftiness," and again (in Psalm 94:11), "The Lord knows the thoughts[H3045, G1261] of the wise, that they are futile[H1892]." So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's. This is how one should regard us, as servants[G5257] of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from[G575] God." (ESV)

1Corinthians 3:16-17, 18-4:5 "Realize that your life is GOD's building; his sanctuary (John 17), designed for his permanent abode (2Corinthians 6:16). His Spirit inhabits you! (He designed every cell in your body to accommodate and express him.)
Just like fire would burn away the dross, any defilement of GOD's temple would be destroyed in order to preserve human  life as his permanent sanctuary. (see verse 15) Why fool yourself? What is esteemed as wise according to popular Jewish sentiment is folly. There is no compromise when it comes to wisdom; the only wisdom that matters is what GOD deems wise, even if it seems foolishness to the reasoning of typical religion. Much rather be ridiculed by religion than esteemed as wise by them. (The dynamic of GOD's wisdom is the fact both Jew, Muslim, today's Christian religion and Greeks are equally represented and defined in Christ. It seems so foolish that GOD should die humanity's death on the cross; it seems so weak of GOD to suffer such insult; yet humanity's wisest schemes and most powerful display of genius cannot even begin to comprehend or compete with GOD in his weakest moment on the cross [1Corinthians 1:24-25]. [Look also at 1Corinthians 1:30, 2:7-8]) GOD's wisdom proves the foolishness of all secular wisdom. It is on record in Scripture how GOD outwits the wise of this world. (In the Message Translation, Job 5:13 reads, "He catches the know-it-alls in their conspiracies - all that intricate intrigue swept out with the trash! ) The LORD is familiar with the [2, G3152]unsuccessful search for meaning in humanity's empty [1, G1261]debates and dialogue. (The word, [1, H6098 from H3289, G1261 from G1260 from G1223 and G3049] dialogismos, is translated as someone deliberating with themselves. Psalm 94:11 says, "The LORD knows the thoughts of a person; that they are vanity." The word, [2, G3152 from G3155] mataios, maten, is translated as fruitless, unsuccessful search.) Therefore no one has any reason to boast in themselves, as if they gained anything that does not already belong to them! For all things you wish to gain already belong to you! ([Look at 1Corinthians 4:7] "Thus says the LORD: 'Let not the wise glory in their wisdom, let not the mighty glory in their might, let not the rich glory in their riches; but let the one who glories glory in this, that they understand and know Me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth; for in these things I delight, says the LORD!'" [in Jeremiah 9:23-24]) You are not winning any competition by picking your favorite teacher from among Paul, Apollos or Kefas; they all belong to you anyway. The world belongs to you! Life and death are yours (John 11:25-26); in what you now have in this present moment you already possess the future! (Not even death can threaten what you have in life! Look at Romans 8:38-38.) As much as Christ is inseparably GOD's own, you are the property of Christ. You are with him. (Jesus endorsed GOD's ownership of the human race. Look at Psalm 24:1, Matthew 13:44 and Luke 15 where all three parables celebrate ownership - you cannot be lost unless you do not belong! And this is impossible!) This is how one should regard us (so called, Apostles): we are the [1, G5257] under rowers of Captain Christ; responsible for the engine room as it were! We are entrusted with the administration of the mysteries of GOD. (The unveiling of the mystery is within this gospel of humanity's association in Christ, and is the driving force of the true Church. The word, [1, G5257 from G5259] huperetes, means an under-rower, who was one who was in the trireme, quadrireme, or quinquereme galleys and rowed in one of the undermost benches; those who were the lowest ranked slaves and often the most invisible part of the whole operation. We are not hiding behind fancy titles or impressive degree's to try and win your applause or financial support. We are not here to impress you with us; our mandate is to impress you with how complete you are in Christ because of GOD's doing. [Look at 1Corithians 1:30, 2:6-9].) (Our title might be unimpressive, but our job is most significant.) For this reason our ministry is of unquestionable integrity. The authority of my ministry is not based upon your scrutiny of my life or even any cross examination by a human court. Neither is it by my own assumption; even though I know of nothing against my conscience, I am not thereby acquitted, The point is not how self righteous I may appear in my own eyes; the LORD's judgment is the only valid reference to our innocence. any judgment prior to the LORD's coming (prior to the cross) is out of context. (The days of performance-based judgment are long over! As this took place in his execution.) His coming illuminates all the hidden mysteries (concerning humanity's inclusion in the death and resurrection of Christ. [look at 1Corinthians 2:7-8]) and unveils the [1]deepest desire of the heart of a person. In his appearing (through the proclamation of this gospel [see 1Corinthians 5:4]) shall everyone be [2, G575]commended by GOD. (Not  contaminated by an inferior judgment; [2, G575] apo means away from the influence of humanity's judgment. [1]He is the desire of all nations. All nations long for the redemption of their true identity and their true innocence. [Look at Haggai 2:7; also 1Corinthians 1:7 and 2:7] We voice words of wisdom that were hidden in silence for timeless ages; a mystery unfolding GOD's Masterful plan whereby he would redeem his glory in man!) The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 3:10; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Kicking things off now at verse 10 of 1Corinthinas 3 with our look at what my study Bibles call "the Division of the Church." Lets just see if it remains so; when looked at from GOD's perspective of our renewed mindset.


1Corinthians 3:10-15 "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire." (KJV)

1Corinthians 3:10-15 "According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire." (ESV)

1Corinthians 3:10-15 "His Grace is the only reference for my skill; his gift qualifies me (I did not earn my certificate as Master Builder at a university as a reward to my excellence!). The faith foundation that I have laid in your lives gives evidence to that. So let the next person take extra caution to build consistent with what grace communicates. (Grace alone defines and inspires NT ministry.) Jesus Christ is the only foundation; nothing that anyone else can possibly teach you can replace him. Imagine the contrast in building materials, one builds with gold, silver and precious stones, while another uses wood, hay and stubble. (By comparison, the teaching of the cross and its glorious effect in the believer's life is like building with gold, silver, and precious stones, whereas the wisdom of this world system based upon religious good works of self effort and not trusting faith is like building with wood, hay, and stubble which is fuel for fire!) Everyone's work shall be tested in the scrutiny of real life; it shall be made apparent as in broad daylight just as gold is tested in fire; what you live will either burn like stubble or shine like gold. (The revelation of humanity's co-crucifixion and co-resurrection with Christ is the gold of this gospel!) If what you teach is based on the revelation of the success of the cross it will certainly be confirmed in the heat of contradiction. Obviously to witness the fruit of one's labor go up in smoke would be devastating, even though you escape with your own life." (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 2:14; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Picking the ball backup at verse 14 of 1Corinthians 2 which carries a subtitle of, "Wisdom from Man" or "the foundation for living," or how about, "the Divisions in the Church." This will carry us over into chapter 3, if my readying is accurate and correct, lets see how it fits. By way of remember I edit what the Mirror Bible has as its notes as I am led.


1Corinthians 2:14-3:9 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?(quoted from Isaiah 40:13) But we have the mind of Christ (we know and now understand the mysteries of Christ, the secret hidden in GOD). And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building." (KJV)

1Corinthians 2:14-3:9 "The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. "For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?"(quoted from Isaiah 40:13) But we have the mind of Christ (we know and now understand the mysteries of Christ, the secret hidden in GOD). But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way? For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not being merely human? What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building." (ESV)

1Corinthians 2:14-3:9 "The soulish person has no capacity to comprehend the language of the Spirit of GOD; spiritual things seem meaningless to them; they are incapable to discern that which can only be spiritually appreciated. (A performance-based mind-set cannot see or access what grace communicates. It would be as impossible as trying to get airborne with a motor car. Law cannot compete with grace. Law has no natural field while grace does, from the beginning, our origin.) Those who are spiritually awakened are immediately compatible to discern all things from (our origin of) a spiritual (grace) perspective, while they themselves are free from anyone's critical scrutiny. There is no other basis to teach from but to echo the mind of Christ; he is the Master (LORD) mind personified within us! This is ridiculous! Who am I talking to here? Are you mere spiritual infants stuck in the soul-ruled mode of the flesh, reduced to baby-talk? (Cooing sentimental gibberish about who your favorite preacher is instead of discovering who you are in Christ!) I fed you with milk and now after all that time it seems that you have no appetite nor capacity for the real meat of this gospel. While you remain on the milk diet of the soul-ruled realm of the flesh (knowing Christ merely from a human point of view [look at 2Corinthians 5:16]), you are unable to digest the meat message of what has been concluded and now revealed in our union with Christ! (There is a huge difference between seeing Christ historically and sentimentally and not realizing the revelation of this Gospel. This is the mystery of Grace: GOD reveals us in Christ. He associated us in Christ before time began (in Genesis 1:26-27 and 2:1-3). Jesus did not die as an individual! He died our due death and we were raised together with him. The only man in heaven, that is to say a man with flesh on him. For all spirit beings have neither flesh or gender. Until the day of the LORD! ) Your heated debates and divisions prove that you are completely missing the point of the Gospel! You behave like any other person, religiously obsessed with petty politics while missing the essence of this message. Can you not see that it is not about Paul or Apollos or any teacher you wish to associate with? We are not here to play the one off against the other, in a desperate attempt to win your vote to join our "group or club." (Acts 19:1) Both Apollos and I are on the same assignment: we are here for you, to influence your faith to discover yourself in Christ, as a Christ-one, a true Saint! Every individual is equally gifted in him. (Look at verse 21 and 22.) I have planted, by bringing this gospel to you in the first place, then Apollos watered the seed of faith in his ministry to you; But GOD causes the increase of the Christ-life to ignite and expand in you. If all we succeeded to do was to us as individuals, then we have failed you; the one who plants is not more important that the one who waters; it is not about us, it is about "Y-O-U" realizing GOD's work within you. (Our ministry has only one objective: to reveal Christ in you! See the urgency of Paul's language? Look at Philippians 2:12, "not only in my presence but much more in my absence, discover the full extent of your own salvation: it is GOD working in you both to will and to do!" This "working out of your own salvation" has nothing in common with guilt, willpower-restrictions of the Law works systems. It is discovering his working in you; energizing you with both the desire and the capacity to give expression to him.) Our individual assignment does not place the one above the other; we have exactly the same mission; how we succeed or fail in that is to our own account. We are co-employed by GOD. You are GOD's agricultural field; or in another context, you are his building and he is the architect and engineer of his life in your design." (The Mirror, with some editing.)

The LORD willing next time we shall look at Grace. Until then may the LORD add to your stature His grace and faith. Now i want to interject this, think if you will what Jesus said about his humanity in John 11:25-26.

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 2:6; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

Picking the ball up again with verse 6 of 1Corinthians 2 lets see what lies ahead for us. As my study Bibles show this area to be the Wisdom of Spirit and not of natural man, that comes next. And what sad scenario it is. Here we will see that it is the Spirit of GOD awaken within us that makes all the difference in this world for us. Because the devil (mans vain imagination) and his religions of distortion and deception keep all from the truth and slaves to his evil plans of humanity's annihilation along with himself and his counter parts, the host or legion of fallen angles.


1Corinthians 2:6-13 "Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written (by Isaiah in 64:5 and 65:17), "'Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared[H6213, G2090] for them that love him.'" But God hath revealed[G2090] them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual." (KJV)

1Corinthians 2:6-13 "Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But, as it is written (by Isaiah in 64:5 and 65:17), "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared[H6213, G2090] for those who love him"— these things God has revealed[G2090] to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual." (ESV)

1Corinthians 2:6-13 "The words we speak resonate revelation wisdom in those who understand how perfectly redeemed they are in Christ, this wisdom supersedes every secular kind; suddenly what once seemed wise and good advice has become useless information, at it's best. (All popular programs towards improving moral behavior are now outdated. "Of GOD's doing are we in Christ. He is both the genesis and genius of our wisdom; a wisdom that reveals how righteous, sanctified, and redeemed we already are in him." In GOD's economy (dimension), Christ represents us; what humanity could never achieve through personal discipline and self willpower as taught in every religion, GOD's faith accomplished in Christ [1Corinthians 1:30]) We voice words of wisdom that were hidden in silence for timeless ages; a mystery unfolding GOD's [1, G3406]Masterful plan whereby he would redeem his glory in man. Our glorification has always been GOD's agenda, even [2, G165]before time was (as seen in Genesis 1:26-27 for his humanity). (Paul employs the words, [1, G3406 from G4253 and G3724] prohoritso, predesigned and [2, G4253 and G165] pro aion before the ages (often translated "world"), in order to emphasize the certainty of GOD's persuasion concerning their determined intent to rescue and restore their image and likeness in us. Our redemption existed upon the inner-horizons of GOD before the ages. The word, prohoritso, is from [G4253] pro, before and [G3724 from G3725] horitso, horizon; and means pre-defined, like when an architect draws up a detailed plan or blueprint. Look also at Romans 8:30, Jesus reveals that we pre-existed in GOD (in Genesis 1:26-27); he defines us. He justified us and also glorified us. He redeemed our innocence and restored the glory that was lost in Adam.[Genesis 3]) Neither the politicans nor the religious leaders of the day had a clue about this mystery; if they did, they would never have crucified the LORD whose death redeemed our glory! (Time witnessed and recorded this death and resurrection of an individual; while eternity witnessed this death and resurrection of the human race! These are our two witnesses; there is a third and it is the Word within us, ALL!) It is written: "What has been concealed for ages in a realm inaccessible to the senses; what no human eye could catch a glimpse of, nor their ear could even hear a whisper of, neither could the inquiring mind decipher the code of that mystery which GOD has already [1] fully accomplished and prepared as a royal highway [2]imprinted in the hearts of his beloved!" (The exact detail of his plan to rescue his image and likeness in humanity was in place. How Jesus would represent humanity to die our due death is the wisdom of GOD concealed. In the mind of GOD we are associated in Christ (from beginning to end) before the ages; this was according to GOD's eternal resolve. "The things that GOD has prepared" or [1, G2090 from G2092] hetoimatzo, is from the oriental custom of sending people ahead to level the roads and make them passable before a king's journey. What seemed a cul-de-sac for the flesh is a royal highway for faith. 

The redemption of humanity was not to be the product of human philosophy or speculation. In the Hebrew text it is a quote from Isaiah 64:3 (In our English translation it is verse 4) the Hebrew word, [2, H2442 akin to H2707]châkâh or ghaka, is used, which means to carve an image; to show by drawing or description, piercing, traditionally also translated as those who "wait upon the LORD." (In Isaiah 40:31, a different word is used for those who "wait" upon the LORD, [H6960]qâvâh or kawa which means to intertwine.) Paul writes in the Greek and most probably from the Septuagint when he quotes Isaiah 64 verse 3 in the Septuagint and uses the phrase, "for those who love him." The Septuagint uses the word, eleos, which means tender compassion. Thus, faith opens the horizon of love's mystery. It is a place where thoughts [2]carve an impression; a place not otherwise accessible to the scrutiny of a suspiciuos, adademic or a religious, guilt ridden mind, or a performance-based approach. [Look also at 1Corinthians 3:20].) These profound mysteries of GOD's eternal resolve are now thoroughly unveiled to us (both past and future) by his Spirit; nothing is hidden from him; he explores the innermost thoughts of GOD. Just as a person's spirit knows their own thoughts beyond the public eye, even so the Spirit of GOD is our faith decoder to access the thoughts of GOD. (In modern technology it would be impossible to access information from a source that is not compatible with your device; or without a decoder.) The Spirit proceeding from GOD unveils the gifts of his generosity. He has graced us with understanding so that we may know what he has always had in mind for us; this is so unlike the secular spirit of the wisdom of the world where everything has a price tag! (Christ is the unveiling of the mystery of GOD's wisdom: now we know how GOD redeemed our righteousness (our original innocence) and our wholeness (healing) in Christ. In GOD's economy, Christ represents us; what humanity could never achieve through personal discipline and willpower as taught in every religion, GOD's faith accommplished in Christ. Of his design are we in Christ; we are associated in oneness with him. Our wisdom is sourced in this union! Also our righteousness and holiness originates in him.

Holiness equals wholeness and harmony of someone's spirit, soul and body. Our redemption is sanctioned in him. He redeemed our identity, our sanity, our health, our joy, our peace, our innocence and our complete well-being! Look at the note on 1Corinthians 1:30. Secular religion is the product of the spirit of this world where everything is performance based; only the heroes of the moment are acclaimed; the rest are reduced to spectators and audience.) The impact of our words are not confined to the familiar wisdom of this world taught by human experience and tradition, but communicated by seamless spirit resonance, [1, G4739]combining spirit with spirit. (The word [G4739 from G4862 and G2919] sugkrino, suggests a spirit compatibility; a joint togetherness fitly, compound, combined, to interpret, to compare: thus, a joint of spirit with spirit.) The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 1.18; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

With a renewed mind and spirit we are now looking into 1Corinthians 1 and verse 18 where my study Bibles show that this area is subtitled, "Christ the Wisdom and Power of GOD," or "The Wisdom of GOD." Notice that because of my respect for the Father that I have capitalized God to GOD just as I have also done with Lord to LORD as in the OT. When it speaks of the man Jesus as Lord I'll leave it alone but where it speaks of him as LORD I again capitalize who He is.


1Corinthians 1:18-25 "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written (by Isaiah in 29:14), "'I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.'" Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men." (KJV)

1Corinthians 1:18-25 "For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written (by Isaiah in 29:14), "'I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.'" Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men." (ESV)

1Corinthians 1:18-25 "To their own loss the message of the cross seems foolish to some; but to us who discovered our salvation there, it is the dynamic of GOD. Isaiah wrote: "'I will confuse the wisdom of the "so-called" wise and prove their experts wrong!'" (Isaiah 29:14) GOD's wisdom puts the rest out of business (out of balance, not in agreement of harmony)! They have all closed shop; the philosophers, the academics, the smooth-talkers, the lot! (When it comes to real answers to the dilemmas of humanity, GOD's wisdom, revealed in the foolishness of the cross, is the currency of this GOD's Gospel.) By suspicious scrutiny the sense-ruled world surveys the works of GOD in creation and still does not recognize or acknowledge him; in sharp contrast to this, the foolishness of this message we proclaim brings GOD's work of mans redeeming his image in us into faith's focus. (What we preach cancels out every basis for boasting in personal achievement of contribution, which seems folly to the DIY systems of the world.) The Jews crave signs (to confirm their doubts) while the Greeks revel in philosophical debate! (And the Muslim sick to their own twisted law. All groups are addicted to the same soul realm.) The crucified Christ is the message we public proclaim, to the disgust of the Jew while the Greek (and Muslim) thinks we are wacky! The dynamic of GOD's wisdom is the fact that both Jew, Muslim and Greek are equally included and defined in Christ. It seems so foolish that GOD should die humanity's death on the cross; it seems so weak of GOD to suffer such insult; yet their wisest schemes and most powerful display of genius cannot even begin to comprehend or compete with GOD in his weakest moment on the cross." (The Mirror)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 1:26; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

This should be the close of 1Corinthians 1 beginning at verse 26. Lets see what comes to us, what can we glean from this area, as it remains under the heading of "GOD's Wisdom."


1Corinthians 1:26-2:5 "For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen[G1586] the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written (by Jeremiah in 9:23-24), "He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord." And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined[G2919] not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration[G585] of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." (KJV)


1Corinthians 1:26-2:5 "For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose[G1586] what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written (by Jeremiah in 9:23-24), "Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord." And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided[G2919] to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration[G585] of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God." (ESV)

1Corinthians 1:26-2:5 "You might as well admit it, my friends; it was not your academic qualifications or your good looks or social connections that influenced GOD to represent you in Christ. It is almost as if GOD deliberately handpicked the wacky of this world to embarrass the wise, the rejects to put to shame the noble. The ones with no pedigree of any prominence, the "nobodies" in society[G1586], attracted GOD's initiative to unveil his blueprint opinion in order to redefine humanity. Thus he rendered any other social standard entirely irrelevant, redundant and inappropriate. (Blueprint opinion [G1586 from G1537 and G3004], eklegomai, is from ek, meaning origin, source, and legomai which is from logos, the logic of GOD; traditionally translated as "elect." ) Every reason for someone's boasting in themselves dwindles into insignificance before GOD. [1]Of GOD's doing are we in Christ. He is both the genesis and genius of our wisdom; a wisdom that reveals how righteous, sanctified and redeemed we already are in him. (The preposition, [1, G1537] ek, always denotes origin, source. Humanity's association in Jesus is GOD's doing. In GOD's economy [dispensational period], Jesus as Christ represented us; what humanity could never achieve through personal discipline and sheer willpower as taught in every religion, GOD's faith accomplished in Christ. Of his design we are in Christ; we are associated in oneness with him. (Always has been and so will always be One with Him!) Our wisdom is sourced in this union! Also, our righteousness (innocence) and holiness originates in him. Holiness equates wholeness and harmony of a person's spirit, soul, and body. Our redemption is sanctioned in him. He redeemed our identity, our sanity, our health, our joy, our peace, our innocence, and our complete well-being! [Look at Ephesians 1:4] The Knox Translation reads, "It is from him that we take our origin." ) He is our claim to fame. (This is what Jeremiah meant when he wrote: "'Let not the wise glory in their wisdom, let not the mighty glory in their might, let not the rich glory in their riches; but let the one who glories glory in this, that they understand and know me, that I am the LORD who practice steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth; for in these things do I delight, say the LORD.'" In Jeremiah 9:23-24.) My intention in visiting you was not to engage with you in theological debate or to impress you with clever philosophical words guessing about the [1, G3142]mystery of GOD. (The words μαρτύριον [marturion], testimony and [G3466] μυστήριον [mustērion], mystery, look similar. The Alexandrian copy, and others, read, "the mystery" of GOD: also the Syriac version, (I was not able to copy this), "the mystery of GOD." The Alexandrian text-type is the form of the Greek New Testament that predominates in the earliest surviving documents. The Syriac version of the New Testament, dates back to the second century A.D. Syria was the country in which the Greek language intersected with the Syriac, which was closely related to the Aramaic dialect used by Jesus and the Apostles. That is why Syriac versions are highly esteemed by textual critics. The context of this chapter beautifully unfolds the mystery of the Gospel.) My [1, G2919]mind is fully made up about you! The only possible way in which I can truly [2]know you, is in the light of GOD's mystery, which is [3]Christ in you! Jesus died humanity's death on the cross (of our judgment) and thus brought final closure to any other basis of [1]judgment! (The word, [1, G2919] krino , to judge, to determine, to deem in a forensic sense, here, in the Aorist Tense[uses the G1537 with G2919 changing the G2919 to], ekrino, which suggests a once and for all completed action. The Aorist tense presents an occurrence in summary, viewed as a whole from the outside, almost like a snapshot of the action. Paul makes a very bold and radical statement, confirming his ministry focus to "know" the full scope and consequence of our revelation of mankind's redeemed innocence as communicated en the cross of Jesus Christ! This is the essence of the mystery of GOD! "For I determined to [2,G1492]know [- [2]eido, to see, to perceive] nothing in you except Jesus Christ and him crucified." Paul continues to unfold this mystery of our redeemed oneness! In the previous chapter, he concludes that we are in Christ by GOD's doing; here he clearly points to [3]Christ in us! [As Jesus declared in John 14:20.]

Look at 2Corinthians 3:4, "Christ is proof of our persuasion about you before GOD." Also 2Corinthians 1:18, "GOD's certainty is our persuasion; there is no maybe in him!" Then 2Corinthians 1:19, "The Son of GOD, Jesus Christ, whom I, Paul, Sylvanus and Timothy boldly announced in you is GOD's ultimate yes to humanity. Human life is associated in all that he is. In GOD's mind, there exists not even a hint of hesitation about this!

Look also at 2Corinthians 5:14, 16, "I am convinced that if one died for all, then all died! Therefore, from now on, I no longer know anyone from a human point of view!" Also Galatians 1:16 and Colossians 1:27.) I felt completely inadequate; you know that it was not my eloquent speech that persuaded you. I was so nervous that my whole body was trembling with stage fright! My message was not with persuasive arguments based on secular wisdom, since my aim was [1]not to point people to me but rather to the powerful working of the Spirit in them. (Thayer's Greek definition of [1, G585 from G584's which is from G575 and G1166] apodeiknumi is to point away from one's self. Previous translations of this word have often given the impression that the great, miracle-working man of GOD would steal the show and entertain the crowds! This was so unlike Jesus and Paul! Paul never writes about how many people he had heald and brought to faith, ...etc. His all-consuming concern was that the eyes of our understanding would be illuminated with the revelation of Christ in us.

Note 2Corinthians 10:10 [RSV], "For they say, "His letters are weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech of no account." Also, 2Corinthians 11:6, "Even if I am unskilled in speaking, I am noy in knowledge." ---RSV ) Humanity's wise schemes of influence could never match the power of GOD as reference to your faith." (The Mirror)

We are now looking at 1Corinthians 1 and starting with verse 10 and the division of the church or so says my study Bibles. But with GOD there is no division no none what so ever. Once we have learned the importance of what is required of us all, then we can see why GOD uses repetition of phrases and words so often in the context of His word as a means of our teaching, by His Spirit within us.


1Corinthinas 1:10-17 "Now I beseech[G3870] you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect." (KJV)

For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. (ESV)

1Corinthians 1:10-17 "My dear fellow believers, because we are surnamed and identified in the name of our Master the LORD, Jesus Christ, I [1, G3870]urge you to speak with one voice, (to say the same things, as Jesus did with his Father and our Father) for we share the same source as our reference; no division or any sense of distance is tolerated, which makes us a perfect match, accurately joined in the same thought and communicating the same resolve. (The word, [1, G3870 from G3844 and G2564] parakaleo, is from para, a preposition indicating close proximity, a thing proceeding from a sphere of influence, with a suggestion of union of place of residence, to have sprung from its author and giver, originating from that source, denoting the point from which an action originates, intimate connection and kaleo, to surname.) Some of the believers in Chleo's fellowship told me about the controversy in your ranks; this is most disturbing! What I was told is that you are divided into groups, were some side with Paul, others with Apollos, still others with Cephas, and even some who say, "we are the Messianic group!" This is really ridiculous: can Christ be cut up into little relics? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into Paul's name? Baptism is not my business or emphasis; I am glad that I only baptized Crispus and Gaius amongst you! (Cripus was his neighbor and leader of the synagogue [see Acts 18:8]. Gaius resided at Corinth. Paul stayed with him when he wrote the Epistle to the Romans [Romans 16:23]; he was also a travel companion of Paul's [in Acts 19:29].)  I distance myself from the idea of employing baptism as a means of branding my ministry with my name! Somehow baptism has become a snare to some who wish to win members to their denomination! Oh yes! Now I remember that I also baptized the family of Stephanus. (In 1Corinthians 16:15, the family (young and old) of Stephanus were the first converts in Achaia.) My mandate was not about winning members for some 'Christian club' through baptism! I am commissioned to declare the Good News without any strings attached; nothing to distract from the powerful effect of the revelation of the Cross of Christ. (The mystery of the cross is the revelation of humanity's inclusion in his death and resurrection [ look at 1Corinthians 2:2 and 7].)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthians 1.1; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We are now in 1Corinthinas 1 and verse 4 with our look into the redemption of man original identity by the death of the Lord Jesus, GOD's Christ of this message.


1Corinthians 1:4-9 "I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for [G553] the coming[G602] of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless[G410] in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom ye were called[G2564] unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord." (KJV)

1Corinthians 1:4-9 "I am always so happy for you when I consider how greatly advantaged you are because of GOD's grace unveiled in Jesus Christ and in you. Your knowledge of Christ is based on so much more than hearsay; every aspect of your life gives eloquent expression to the rich reservoir of your union in him. You certainly have the testimony of Christ evidenced in you. (You possess full knowledge and give full expression because in you the evidence for the truth of Christ has found confirmation. ---NEB ) In [1, G553]receiving the [2, G602]revelation of Jesus Christ as the principle influence in your life (his Lordship), you prove that you lack for nothing and that his grace gift fully compliments you. (This is in such contrast to those days when under-achievement was the rule; when you felt that you were never good enough and always lagging behind. Note: [1, G553 from G575 and G1551] apekdechomai is not "eagerly waiting for," but "eagerly accepting" or to welcome with hospitality; [2, G602 from G601 from G575 and G2572] apokalupsis is the unveiling, disclosure. I don't know why most translations always want to postpone what GOD has already unveiled! ) He established you from start to finish; to stand [1, G410] vindicated in your identity in the light of day as evidenced in the Lord Jesus Christ. (The word, [1, G410 from G1 and a derivative of G1458] anegkletos, is from ana, meaning upwards, en, in and kaleo , to identify by name. Jesus gives evidence to our original identity. Compare anoche from ana + acho in Romans 3:26. ) We are [1, G2564]surnamed by GOD, he is our true lineage; he is faithful and fully persuaded about our joint participation in the fellowship of sonship; we are included in everything that our Lord Jesus Christ and the Father enjoys." (The word [1, G2564] kaleo, means to call or identify by name, to surname.)

The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as shown in 1Corinthian letters; the renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

I am about to post what is spoken of by Paul in his Corinthian letters, where he uses many and varied means to reveal GOD's active Word of Grace restored within all of humanity. As the very reason that Jesus, the OT LORD, the second person of Elohim, come in our humanity of flesh as a humanoid. This I will do using the new Mirror Study Bible, with some editing by me, as I am lead, and the ESV and KJV as I have been doing already, to show a comparison of the same. In order to break the meth of ideology, that so many religions have been spreading as truth, with No basis for it.

"Paul's persuasion is firmly founded in his revelation and understanding of the success of the Cross. In the economy of GOD, Jesus represented the whole of Humanity and the human race. Every possible contradiction is filtered through this perspective.

In this letter Paul addresses several concerns regarding reports of divisions among the believers, a sexual scandal in their ranks and questions regarding marriage, diets and money.

In chapter 12 and 14, he brings clarity regarding the charismatic spiritual gifts.

Then he highlights the essence of the gospel in the most beautiful love poem in chapter 13. For many years this chapter was read and preached in a typical window-shopping frame of mind.

In Paul's gospel this mind-set is completely reversed; he proclaims that what GOD has done through His Christ actually unveils the life of our original design. Love celebrates the completeness of all that GOD has always had in mind for us. Love is not some prize one has to labor for; love mirrors who we (you) are! What we perceive in the prophetic glimpses is now realized in their completeness! (1Corinthians 13:9-10)

In chapter 15, he emphasizes that the resurrection revelation is the theme and conclusion of the message he preaches.

Then he concludes in chapter 16:14 with, "Agape is your genesis. Loving everyone around you is what you are all about." (Our love for one another is awakened by GOD's Love for us.) And in verse 22, he makes this final powerful statement: "Anyone who prefers the Law above Grace remains under the curse mentality. Jesus Christ has come; Grace is the authority of his Lordship; we are so fond of him! He is the Messiah the world has been waiting for." (The Aramaic word, maranatha, means, our LORD has come.) 1Corinthians 1:1-2, 3 "Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ." (KJV)

1Corinthians 1:1-2, 3 "Paul, called by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and our brother Sosthenes, to the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." (ESV)

1Corinthians 1:1-2, 3 "My name is Paul, in the ministry of Jesus (who is the) Christ is the mandate of my life according to GOD's delightful purpose. Brother Sosthenes is my colleague. (He was formerly the chief ruler of the synagogue at Corinth. [Acts 18:17]) I address this writing to the [1] Ekklesia of GOD in Corinth. You have been restored to the harmony of your original design, made holy in Christ Jesus; no wonder then that you are surnamed Saints. You are in association with all those who have discovered their true identity in Jesus Christ everywhere in every location; he is the head of this union; his name relates us to one another in a global family. (Ephesians 3:15 "...from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named." [1]Church, Ekklesia, those who have discovered their original identity; is from ek, source, origin + kaleo, to surname, identify by name.)
Grace and peace is your portion from GOD who is our Father and from his executive, Jesus Christ." (Grace and peace express the sum total of every beneficial purpose of GOD towards us. Paul brands his gospel with these words in order to distinguish this message of the revelation of the finished work of Christ as the basis of our faith from the Law of Moses which restricts a person to their own efforts to justify themselves. It is a matter of Grace vs reward and peace vs fleshly striving.) (The Mirror)
