Paul, now talks about practical applications of living a Christ life; first, within our families and house holds, and then with those we work with in our daily associations, of this new discovered ideology of our original design entered into by an awakening or a new birth, a new genesis of how to reason and think with the logic of our Father. A place not often spoken of or even acknowledged by our opposition, the world orders. For the saints of GOD are said to be the apple of his eye as revealed in our text.
Colossians 3:18-21, 22-25 "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons." (KJV)

Colossians 3:18-21, 22-25 "His peace is the umpire of our every relationship, especially in the family unit! Wives, place yourselves in the intimate care of your husbands, acknowledging the lordship of Christ in them. Husbands, love your wives tenderly. Do not exasperate them. Children, you display the Christ-life in the way you respond to your parents, keep them glowing with joy, they reflect GOD'S delight in you. (Parents, don't come down too hard on your children or you'll crush their tender, mold able spirits.)
If you are employed by someone, even having to work like a slave, remember your hearts are [1]intertwined in devotion to GOD. Don't just look busy when you are being watched, show the same diligence behind your bosses back. (The word, [1, G572 from G573 from G1 (a particle of union) and the base of G4120] haplote, is from (G1) ha, a particle of union; hama, together with (G4120) + pleko, meaning to plait, braid, weave together. Look at Luke 11:34, "The eye is the lamp of the body; if the eye is single the whole body is full of light (G5346, to make know, revelation)!" Entwining our eyes with Papa's eyes is what enlightens our entire being! Which is exactly what the word Kawa (H6960, to bind together) in Hebrew means in Isaiah 40:31, they that entwine with the LORD's thoughts mount up with wings like eagles! We are wired by design to entwine!) whatever you do, picture Christ in the person you are doing it for; it makes such a difference when we put our heart into it. GOD is no-one's debtor; we are employed under the Lordship of Christ. To live contrary to the life of our design is to injure ourselves; our job description does not define us, it doesn't matter who we are. Unrighteousness carries its own consequences and it is not a respecter of persons." (The Mirror, with editing)
