The saga of "The Secret of GOD", as revealed in Hebrews 5:11; with a renewed mind and our victory as foretold.

We have been examining what it means to be one Life in Christ, in GOD and our next area tells why. Because like so many others of Paul's writings after he reveals a new revelation of Christ within us he brings up a new warning against apostasy. This chapter is no different. He even continues the pattern into the next chapter of our examination with a warning of falling away from Christ's revelation.


Hebrews 5:11-14 "Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." (KJV)

Hebrews 5:11-14 "About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil." (ESV)

Hebrews 5:11-14 "On this subject there remains so much to be said; but oh, how difficult it is to explain something to someone who hears with an indifferent attitude of heart. By now you (Jews) should have been professors, able to teach the rest of the world, but you are still struggling with the A B C's of GOD'S language in Christ. (Hebrews 1:1-3) The difference between the prophetic shadow and the real is like that between milk and meat in your diet. You cannot live on boby food for the rest of your lives! The revelation of righteousness (innocence) is the meat of GOD'S word. Babes live on milk (the prophetic shadow of the real, which was to come, and in did has come); so does everyone who is not [1]pierced in the inner ear of his heart by the revelation of Christ. (The word, [1, G552 from G1 (as a negative particle) and G3984] apeiros, inexperienced, that is ignorant, comes from (G1) a, meaning negative, and (G3984) peira, to pierce, not pierced, tested by piercing. GOD'S act of righteousness in Christ restored humanity's blamelessness of original innocence [Romans 1:17]) This is the nourishment of the mature. They are those who have their faculties of perception trained as by gymnastic precision to distinguish the relevant from the irrelevant. (The mature are those who know the difference between the shadow and the substance; between the futility of the Law of works and willpower to work righteousness, and righteousness revealed by the faith of GOD, That is GOD'S Faith in the finished work of Christ.)
